Comments about true faith as in Hebrews 11. The substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen, in the natural when a woman is pregnant she has the substance of things hoped for ( the child ) the evidence of things not seen a living fetus . But thats just prophetic of the church that is gonna have a baby for Christ which is the H.G. THAT CHILD OF PROMISE.As the scriptures say the woman the Church shall be healed in Child Birth. The essence of real FAITH is a spritual pregnancy which is the substance of things hoped for the EVIDENCE of things not seen. which is Christ being formed in you THE H.G. as we have borne the image of the earthly we must also bear ( birth ) the image of the heavenly which is Christ in you. Thats y he always refers to himself as the SON OF MAN mankind is gonna birth christ in our hearts. The word "seed" in Daniel 2:43 is a very unique Aramaic word, in that, it is only used once in the entire Scriptures. It does not refer to a seed of grain, or a seed for natural birth, ie; a seed for mammal, reptile, or fowl reproduction. This "seed" is unique. Possibly the hidden seed found in DNA. Mixing the DNA of God's creation to make a new creation would be the only abominable sin that would make desolate. Hence, the term "the Abomination that makes desolate" used in Dan 11:31, Dan 12:11. Satan's copy of God's creation. This abominable creation is doomed to hell because it will not be born of water (natural birth) and therefore cannot be "Born Again" it would make it desolate. Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Jhn 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Because of these verses, an artificial creation would be an "Abomination that makes desolate".

Ann Hering. With respect to the "Mystery", Paul is not the only one to use that expression. In Rev 1:20, 17:5, 7 the Angel reveals a mystery of the end times. In Daniel 2:22, 30, 47 God reveals a mystery. A mystery is something we don't yet know or understand. In Isa 44: God tells us He is going to reveal things that have not happened. See also Amos 3:7.

Sometimes well-intentioned people teach things that seem true, but are wrong. As stated before, the Bible never segregates the Tribulation as an event that will only affect Jews. The New Testament letters were written for the Church, not for the Jews. It is God's message to us who believe, 1 Cor 1. Paul and Peter were adamant about not returning to Judaism, 2 Peter 2:22.

Perhaps Hebrews 6:4, 6, 10:26 can shed some light on this. There remains no Sacrifice for anyone that thinks they can be saved by returning to Judaism. And if that is the case, why would God nullify Christ's ultimate sacrifice on the Cross, to punish the Jews for 7 years? Sacrifices, by Jews or anyone else are worthless. So why would God want to restore them as a means for Salvation in the Tribulation? The doctrine that the Tribulation is for the Jews, absent Christians, is a fabrication that doesn't meet the test of reality. God works within the framework of reality, not fiction.

If you can show where the Bible says the Tribulation is for the Jews, please do. But first, you must deal with Matthew 24:29, 2 Tim 2, which set the stage for every other mention of the 2nd Coming and the Rapture. We know from the mouth of Jesus that He is coming Immediately After the Great Tribulation. It remains to be shown that He is coming before that for a Rapture. But if there is a place in Scripture that says otherwise, please point to it. I can tell you now, you won't find it. Every mention of a Rapture scenario follows the description in Matt 24.

Furthermore, don't believe the lie that some of the books of the NT are for the Jews. They are not.

I'm just wondering people try to assume many things about people who do some hard spiritual thing that may let him feel like he's on top of the world or even have the euphoria of a king. That is why I'm wondering if these dreams not like in Genesis or any place else but in Daniel these dreams of king in chapter two are his emotions and Daniel looking into his face after long conversations about the day and others that sit with the king after all there may be princes and I wonder if this book of Daniel was supposed to support in scripture that every word shall be established in two or three witnesses. And Daniel was ready for it because though a king is not a bull they have that phrase bull in a china shop and remember I do not speak evil of dignities as Daniel had friends so do I. When you start to refer even to any person as an associate i'ts like your trying to hurt that person when he is secure right beside you. I'm not saying every dream but in the head of gold dream.

The decisions that Daniel made while he was dealing with the King, I believe that Daniel was taking his advise from the Lord God directly. Note the humble-heart of Daniel after GOD reveal to Daniel what to show the king's about the dream; Daniel took not credit for the work GOD was doing through Daniel as GOD is carrying out the will of Jehovah / GOD.

It is interesting to note that the value of the metals decreases as Daniel tells of the dream (Nebuchaddnezzar, Darius/Cyrus, Alexander the Great, Rome), however, the reverse order appears when he describes the destruction of the image by the stone not made with hands (Jesus).

I have been teaching this Truth now for nearly 39 years and I wish to share with you my upto date study material !

Verse 30~Daniel had received special privileges, but he did not let these go to his head. Daniel always gave due credit and praise to Jehovah God.

Jonathan; like you, and I'm sure most who study and want to understand the words of the prophets regarding the completion of the age and the Lord's coming; I too have wondered about individuals and empires and times, as to how they might be the fulfillment of the Word. But I've started to understand that the entirety of the Word reaches from beginning to end, and is Spirit and Truth.

The fourth kingdom of Iron is the Roman empire, which conquered the world with its "iron" approach. After the fall of the Roman empire, ten kingdoms came out of it, thus "ten toes". The fact that it is mixed, iron and clay, points to the strive to unity in Europe (marriages at first, later Napoleon and Hitler, now the EU) But it would never truly become a united power again.

Verse 44: God has promised that his Kingdom will replace all the governments and kingdoms that we see today. We should continually pray for God's Kingdom to come.

2 things stand out to me: (1) Daniel himself has a similar dream that mentions thi 4th kingdom and the 10 toes. Daniel 2:41 and 43 mentions that it is miry clay, and speaks of "these mingle with the seed of men."
Also, the 10 toes in also mentioned in Revelation 13- in conjunction with the Beast.

Bill Timberlake; The LORD showed Daniel exactly what was meant by all the different parts of the Times of the heathen till Christ comes. The hardness and cruelty of the IRON is spiritually mingled with the weakness and perversion of the world of the ungodly; thus also are they led into error to believe what is false as they think their hardness and wickedness is their strength shall be their ruin.

It does not make it clear in any commentary what Daniel 2:43 means, even though it will be revealed as the book is now being opened again. Possibly iron and clay could mean robots combined with human seed. The final ten kingdoms are the last kingdoms that come before the 1,000 year rain of Christ, which will have a lot of technologies; biological, mechanical, and intel. mixed and yet He saves us.

Daniel is such an incredible book. In chapters 2-4 King Nebuchadnezzar realizes the absolute sovereignty of Daniel's God. Very insightful as God is my master and is sovereign in all of my life. Not just a statement but I want to be ever mindful that nothing happens seemingly for or against me that He does not allow.
