"In the days of the sounding of the Voice of the seventh angel the mystery of GOD should be finished," do we, in looking at the condition of this world, Israel getting prepared for their salvation, through their two prophets, Moses and Elijah, who preach Christ and Him crucified, have we failed to recognize that Jesus, the Christ, our Lord and Saviour, paid for sins, and, Christians who are IN Him, do not sin?
Satan is always is striving to keep believers looking at our flesh, (which propheteth nothing,) rather than keeping our eye solely, and souly on GOD'S Word.
As he deceived Eve, in the Garden, he has used the same technique, of keeping Christians looking at their flesh, rather than GOD'S Word, which tells us we are free from the power of sin and death, are already seated in Heavenly place, prevents us from recognizing, accepting GOD'S salvation, preferring, it appears, to grovel around, confessing only our 'failures', rather than our deliverance. Could any readers here explain this anomaly for us, please?
My Bible tells me my Lord, Jesus Christ has already paid for all our mistakes, and, realistically, the only sin is dis-belief, refusal to hear, accept, confess what our LORD, through His Son, has done for us.
Satan always attacks us through our mind, telling us we are not worthy, not good enough, which is absolutely true, but as long as we are looking at his lie, we are rejecting GOD'S promise, HIS salvation, and are, realistically, denying what GOD has already declared, that we, as HIS children, cannot deny HIS WORD, and are letting satan, again, pull the wool over the last Eve, the Churches eyes?
The only sin is unbelief, rejecting GOD'S Word whilst preferring satan's lie!
The Lord God continues to encourages us to stand fast in His precepts and filter all things through scripture. Any and all teachings or directions must comply with the Lords written and revealed word. (2 Corinthian 10:3-6) If it does not then disregard it and have nothing to do with it. ( Deuteronomy 13:18)
"When thou shalt hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep all his commandments which I command thee this day, to do that which is right in the eyes of the LORD thy God." Matthew Henry commentary 1710
I need to know the truths and precepts of the Scriptures in such a manner that I cannot be persuaded to leave the Lord God and serve any false gods. The false teachings may even come from within the church, from a brother or friends.
murder is to take innocent life with evil intent to kill is defending life from evil or someone trying to kill you, good example defending house from intruder
The Bible is quite clear on this. We all have desires and a sinful nature. We can choose to act on our desires or to reject them. For example, a person who was born with a nature to be angry can control his temper, or a woman who was born as a nymphomaniac or a man as a kleptomaniac, can choose to control their nature. Also, some natures may be acquired in our youth, such as a bullying or physically abusive nature, sometimes brought on by a relative or neighbor who mistreated us. We are in this life for a test of whether we love God or choose to do our own desires. See Deuteronomy 13:1-3 for example. Often, these desires are compelling and overwhelming. When we believe we cannot control them, we must kneel in humble prayer to Jesus and ask Him to help us. Greater is He that is in me, than he (Satan) that is in the World. Let us be thankful that we have a savior who loves us and gave Himself for us, and that we can express our love for Him by being obedient to Him. "If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Nancy, the Scripture I like in respect to what you've asked is in Ephesians 1:13,14: "In whom (Jesus) ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom (Jesus) also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory."
The verse reminds us that after we heard the Gospel & subsequently put our trust (faith) in Jesus, we were immediately given God's Seal of Promise. And this came to us through His Gift of His Spirit into our lives. And this was absolutely necessary to happen, as the Spirit's Presence is the "earnest" (the guarantee) of our inheritance: inheritance of our new relationship to the Godhead, of all of God's Blessings, Power, Joy & Peace and the guarantee that God would never leave us or forsake us, just as God promised in His Word: Deuteronomy 13:6 & the direct NT quote in Hebrews 13:5. And this Promise is fully seen by the presence of the Spirit in the lives of God's children.
But Eph 1:14 goes on to say that this "sealing" & this "guarantee" by the Spirit is only until "the redemption of the purchased possession". I understand this to mean that when we finally get to Heaven (& indeed, 'what a day of rejoicing that will be'), the Spirit's presence will no longer be indwelling us as we will be in the presence of God & His Son Jesus. Jesus, in Heaven right now, is seated at His Father's right Hand & in the Body (now glorified) He had on Earth. And so we too shall be ( 1 John 3:2) in the day of our translation (Rapture) when both those alive & dead in Christ arise to be with the Lord forever.
So our Redemption comes in two phases: redemption of our spiritual entity, when our spirits once given over to serving Satan, now have been redeemed by Christ's Blood to belong to & serve our Holy God. And redemption of the physical, when our bodies are transformed to live with Him.
Deuteronomy 4:13 And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded [you to perform], even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.

Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.
Deuteronomy 11:22 For if ye [shall diligently keep all] these commandments which I [command you], [to do them], to love the LORD your God, [to walk in all his ways], and to cleave unto him;
Deuteronomy 13:4 Ye [shall walk] after the LORD your God, and fear him, and [keep] his commandments, and [obey] his voice, and ye [shall] serve him, and cleave unto him.
2 Chronicles 31:21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, [he did it with all his heart, and prospered.]
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with [them that love him and keep his commandments] to a thousand generations;
Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore thou shalt love the LORD thy God, and [keep] his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, [alway.]
Deuteronomy 15:5 [Only] if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to [observe to do all] these commandments which I command thee this day.
Deuteronomy 27:10 Thou shalt therefore [obey] the voice of the LORD thy God, [and do] his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
Deuteronomy 30:8 And thou shalt return and [obey] the voice of the LORD, [and do all] his commandments which I command thee this day.
1 Kings 8:58 That he may incline our hearts unto him, [to walk in all his ways], [and to keep] his commandments, and his statutes, and his judgments, which he commanded our fathers.
These are just a few of the scriptures [commanding us to keep them.]
We must thank God for his mercies and grace .. For if life now had been like then we would all be stoned ..
But we are now under the grace ., and can ask forgiveness ... But we should not practice sin .. But look to God to break strong holds ... Please pray my strenght in the lord as i strive to be God like
Verse 2~One may arise that can perform signs and wonders, but if that person is urging someone to go against Jehovah God, that one must be rejected and avoided.
April: You're right. Today Our Tongue can be deadly or give Life. One giving instructions used The Sword of The Spirit and The Sword of His Mouth wrong! "Murder" We are to pray for the lost,even our bosses./ Killing of Babies,Men,Women,Animals, wiping out everything. Taking nothing. It's a Picture of Our Salvation. Kill The Littlest Sin or it will Grow into a Storm of Sin. Wipe Your House Clean.
Gil: I get that the scripture said to kill,but we are in the now times and all though we can take things from the OT,we still are under the idea of those who kill by the sword die by the sword,Even though hands are not a sword,well neither are guns,but it says also do unto others as you would want done onto yourself,before jesus this is what was to be done to obey GOD and be in HIS grace N honor..
Stoning was the O.T. dispensation; and it was God's way - "My ways are higher than your ways ....." God is - GOD, and there is not a whole lot we can do about that. Now, since Jesus ascension into Heaven, is the age of Grace, not the O.T. law. There was no grace in the O.T.; there was forgiveness if you turned to Him. Grace is an ongoing thing- for this age.
Would you really stone your own child to death for suggesting their might be truth in another god? I cannot take this as advise or wisdom. Please, can someone explain.
Do not be deceived by the harsh nature of the 13th chapter, and do not accuse God of being like other gods which are no gods. If you get anything from the inspired words of this chapter, realize the awfulness and wickedness of idolatry and God's hatred for it. Through the harsh penalties, God is graciously showing to any and all who will heed where idolatry ultimately leads, eternal death.
I am a former and present believer of Christ, Jesus our Lord and Savior.It is very hard being around doubters and very negative people but by knowing the word, you know the truth no matter what the nay sayers says. Unfortunately, I have the displeasure of working for a boss who tries to deter people from God's word but, I pray for him anyway because he is lost.
To simplify this chapter..God and his word should influence us foremost.God is utterly stern concerning people negatively influencing others away from God 's ordinances. Influencing someone to trespass against God 's word is worst than the person trespassing on one 's own initiative. evil company corrupts good morals!
Jesus allowed Himself to be cruxified and remained passive , so He die for mankind's sin. However He will not be passive the next time He sets foot on earth. He will come as a warrior and king. Many will die an earthly death as well as many will be judged and sent to hell. He does not want believers to be passive or weak physically in our faith.
@Artiewhitefox,
If you are sexually involved with animals, please, REPENT! If you die now you won’t be in heaven! REPENT and turn your life over to Jesus, please...
Bill, I feel sorry for you! Maybe one day you’ll need some help and I pray God will send someone to give you the help you will need! Best prayers to you!
Jesus did away with throwing stones, but humans still want to throw stones at the zoosexual. That has got to change. As you can see a warmonger can quote a verse to justify throwing stones. Even Jesus who is perfect did not throw a stone even at the humans persecuting him which he could have easily done, but did not do.

You are CORRECT the only sin that keeps us from BEING ONE with Christ is UNBELIEF.
Colossians 1:26 Even THE MYSTERY which hath been HID from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to the saints:
Colossians 1:27 ..... THIS MYSTERY.....CHRIST IN US......
John 9:3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man SINNED, nor his parents: but that THE WORKS OF GOD should be manifest in him.
John 9:39 And Jesus said, For JUDGEMENT I am come into this world, that they which SEE NOT may SEE; and they which SEE might be MADE BLIND.
John 9:41 Jesus said unto them, If you were BLIND, you would HAVE NO SIN (unbelief): but now you say, WE SEE, therefore your SIN (unbelief) remaineth.
