Les. I have been thinking about the Israelite's is in a similar way, that when we pray we ask for something that we need or want help in-everyday.When Jesus was walking on water
  • Les on Deuteronomy 1 - 6 years ago
Isn't it mind-boggling how the Israelites could have such little faith in the Lord after all He had done for them up to that point?

OBEDIENCE TO GOD'S WORDS ARE MORE IMPORTANT THAN SACRIFICE SO MANY SICKNESS WHO ARE NOT HEALED BECAUSE THEY DONT OBEY GOD. THERE WAS A BLIND AND HE WAS HEALED WHEN HE OBEY JESUS TO WASH HIS FACE IN SILOAM AND TOLD THE PRIEST THAT JESUS PERFORM A MIRACLE INSTANTLY THE BLIND RECIEVES HIS SIGHT. JESUS DIDN'T SAY I WILL HEAL YOU NOW INSTEAD HE ALWAYS GIVES US THE WORDS TO SHOW OUR OBEDIENCE TO HIM AMN

Ray321 DEUTERONOMY IS Beautiful BUT We as BELIEVERS,Need to live by The LAW and by Grace. The Lord lived by the Law. As well Teaches Grace. So should we. Keep the 10 COMMANDMENTS and the FEASTS and live by the HEBREW Calendar. So no more Christmas/Easter THAT is NO WHERE in the BIBLE that our Lord Jesus Christ HATES. Yes we need to nail all our Transgression's to the Cross and Love every one.

Woaw i really learns alot. In verse 8 God make us to understand that we've to see the way he see. That means we must learn to possess thing by faith.
Secondly we've to totally depend on God know matter the circumstance or changes.
Lastly we must learn to obey the words of God very importance.

From the beginning God directed Moses to go and pocess the land and man has since continue to fight wars, kill nations of people to poscess and become lord of all the land. But that was not God's directive or intension. Everything that God has spoken on satin has managed to place his cloud of deception

in Deuteronomy , it's so beautiful, I am glad that I don't have to be under the Law for Salvation. Apostle Paul explain this very well in the book of Romans. We are under grace by faith through the Lord Jesus Christ. We must know who wrote the books of the Bible and who was it written to, for understanding. Not all scripture is to us, yes we can learn from them. Read Romans through Philemon

So far I have read chapter 1 and realize it teaches a lesson of faith in God. The children of Israel could not see God who was bigger that their circumstance and as such most never made it to the promised land.

Deut. - What a PRECIOUS book. It's so full of God's love, patience and wisdom. Somewhere in Deut. it states that His commandments are not grievous - and is reiterated in 1Jn.5:3. And it's SO true; His commandments are so easy to live with. And - CHEAPER! I save $40 a week since He delivered me from tobacco 3 yrs. ago. I give that to Him every week.

God will allow killing when he knows your enemies are going to kill u its his job to protect his own.he knows his children . Sometime we say people are saved and they are not.just because u act saved do not say u are when u are saved u do the works of God and your life speaks that only God know what need to be done not man
  • Geraldine cole on Deuteronomy 1 - 9 years ago
God only allow them to kill their enemies because he knew they were going to kill them.he does not want us to kill anyone but he will not allow u to be a target of your enemies.the same thing goes for the world system if some one break in your house and u kill them that is call self defense u will not go to jail for that so when your enemies have a plan to hurt u some time God will shield u from the trouble only God knows what action u need to take because God not only knows your hart he know y ur enemies hart as well. when a person get kill u may say o he was a preacher or a Christian the question is were they really saved just because u act saved go to church preach do things in church that do not mean u are saved the good that u do cannot saved u .u must be born again we cannot fool God we can fool man and women. No weapons form against God children will proper Amen

Hello Gina Garcia Psalms 121 1 and 2 " A Song of degrees. I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth ". Stay encouraged. Knowing that the rapture is soon to come for those who are covered with his blood, by following Acts 2 38 is what keeps me going as well.

  • Priscilla Ramos on Deuteronomy 1:17 - 10 years ago
Do not judge people no matter who they are, respect as you want to be respected. God is not judgmental but He judge accordingly and protect us from enemies.
