    Praise the lord it should be a difference we are peculiar people this seems to be a problem for a lot if people. The lord want us obey women should not wear pants and men should not wear dresses or skirts think about it even on the restroom doors it has differences. I would encourage anyone that when the lord is dealing with regarding this please obey he requires for us to be Holy.

    The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, (9 does this mean everything from sandals, to pants, to shirt, to underwear to hat?) neither shall a man put on a woman's garment( can a man wear anything except for women's garments?} : (what is the difference between put on and wear?) for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.

    Wayne,You advised April not to ask questions of humans.Yet, you answer many questions here.The task is to "test all spirits".The only way to test a spirit is using the knowledge of God's word.Asking a question of someone is not wrong, but after they answer, test it against his word. The Holy Spirit teaches all things.If you are grounded in the word, the truth will set you free. Christ is Truth.

    April: Wearing pants is ok, just not painted on. The issue is about one dressing to look like a male or female. I thought maybe we should all wear robes,but whatever you wear someone will complain. I see a lot of women wear way to short or sheer (do they still make slips), clothing. A couple of girls,well the pants looked like pajamas. The Lord looks at your Heart.

    I have a question,I see IRENE 123 posted about wearing pants,and it got me thinking,would it be considered a I guess GUY clothing?,I mean when I was younger I was a tom boy,lol,eww to dresses,but now I like to wear long skirts and long dresses,I am more conservative,I tried wearing skinny miny but,it wasn't very becoming,all due to what was hip lol,but as I got older I like to wear jeans.

    Women like their pants. When they first became more popular in the late 60's it took just a VERY FEW yrs., less than 5, before ALL women, young and seniors, were wearing them. And many mother's didn't even bother buying dresses anymore for their daus. But, we are not to openly judge anyone for anything; their lives are between them and God. God IS love and we are to ONLY show His love.

    I believe God's word...I trust its virture. I don't. Take away or add. If you follow it as a chritian should it is well with thee. I am my brothers keeper and Women pants are wrong ..even if we are doing them, bur especially when you come to God's house. I do think that is an abomination! If you love him respect him. Don't. Justify....Change. OT/NT doesn't matter the devil is cunning. Love GOD.

    The Law was given as a Schoolmaster, to bring us to Christ. If the Spirit of the LORD be truly in our hearts, then we will never have any controversy with the good and clean and normal; as God made it! The wearing of garments pertaining to the other gender, is abomination to God; just as if one thinks liberty means, freedom from rule. The two different genders compliment each other to God's glory.

    Jesus Christ didn't abolish anything about the law but his death impacted on all believer the grace to live above the law. For instance, no spirit filled believer can go after his neighbor's wife 'cos the Holy Spirit is there to guide him or her.

    Deuteronomy 22:5, The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. so now tell me what can you say about this the law God give to his people the way they most serve him, Matthew 7:13-14, tell it all so you better make your way pure before God, so you can be on that narrow way, thanks

    I believe that Jesus Christ died for all sin, past, present and future Genesis through Revelations. If I interpret correctly, as described in Revelations, this is an chance once again for others to be saved. Our God is an loving God, an just God who is the I AM I AM! I like what I see thus far and hope to study Deuteronomy Chapter 22 more! Am I allowed to comment as the comments I see?

    God was there before the scriptures and then came the scriptures came, before my greatest Dad Adam, God already knew He would bring Adam to existent just as He assures Jeremiah He knew the world would develop together with it's technology He got it well that lifestyle would change with time span and made it precise bound by the love He had for you and I, that you and I shall be an abomination by crossdressing.

    Adam answered and replied to God saying 'the wife you gave me, when God asked him hast thou eaten of the tree I instructed you not to? In the case of Due. 22:5, there was and there's still a clear specifications in the issues of man not adoring himself with women apparel and vice versa. God knew human mentality that His word can be questioned and He spelled this law out through moses. It was to be observed physically, mentally, emotionally and otherwise, unlike Adam telling God ' this wife you gave me,' meaning that God should have instructed Eve also. God is Truth.

    It's stated in OT The woman shall not wear that which partaineth on to a man, neither shall a man put on a waman's garment in way A woman must not wear men's clothing nor a man wearwomen's clothing : for all that do so are abomination onto the LORD thy God. Brethren devil is trying to manipulate the mind of people to bring styles of clothing and call it unisex making people feel nothing wrong looking modestly in it, if it is right Deuteronomy 22 should have tould us in oternitive we should wear unisex or modenise the opposite sex clothing to fit our body shape and be wearing. Lets not deceive our selves but be sensitive to rebuke devil when his trying to drop idears that are contrary to the will of God in our hearts, stick to what the bible says and dont look for any way to contradict it for such is the strategy of the devil to distroy humanity. His work is to still, to kill and to distroy. So rebuke him let not be you as you do so God will bless you and help you to understand more as you study to know about Him.

    Everyone seems to pretend not to understand the post by Abbas James, where he said God speaks before things happen. None is seeing that someone here is implying that God gave the command to Israel because of the heathen nations around. Even the person didn't bother telling us what was meant by the "pertaineth", he just finagled away from it. Another appealed to "Women of God" who wear what they like and do great things... someone even said it wasn't addressed in the NT. Was the Bible supposed to be "NT re-addressing what is addressed in the OT"? Is the NT the "two edged sword" of God Almighty? Why is none defining the "pertaineth" and the "abomination"? And, why do we disagree that unisex clothing was never started by Christians-strictly defined? Where is a woman seen listed among those who go to war in Scriptures, and what weapons were they to use that might have differed from that of men? Which weapons do American women armies use? When did women start going to war?... Why are we deceiving ourselves, modifying the innerrant and unmistakable Word? Let me ask this, pls: now that a woman can be modestly adorned in women trousers, pls, how can a man be modestly adorned in male skirts? Thanks for your answer. Greetings from Nigeria.

    Well, my boyfriend is a Baptist and I am a Roman Catholic. I just don 't understand where the division between men 's and women 's clothing is exactly. He can 't answer me directly about it. All he knows is that women MUST wear skirts dresses and men MUST wear trousers, jeans, etc. Jeans, for example, are made differently for men and for women. I believe it pertains to cross-dressers. And I do believe that, as long as you wear modest clothings, it will not be an "abomination " to God.

    we need to study words in the Word. and know the history of the time. First if you study the words, it is referring to war garments, something prepared, i.e. any apparatus as an implement, utensil, dress, vessel or weapon :--armour -bearer , artillery, bag, carriage, furnish, and males in armies of the heathen around them, would put a dress womans robe, over their armor to sneak attack enemy, it was a disguise to get in close to attack. And this is part of the law of moses which was nailed to the cross according to Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross there are various 'laws ' in the bible, the law of moses is gone, it was a civil code for that nation alone, and ceremonial laws which were done away with at the cross, their are health laws that we are not 'under the law ' but we should follow for our own health sake, and the moral law, the 10 commandments which are eternal. SO where in the NT is this issue addressed ? and even in this Deut 22 it is not what everyone thinks.
