    Matthew 24:

    1 of 2 -JESUS described two events:

    1st EVENT-DESTRUCTION OF THE TEMPLE

    1-JESUS came out from the Temple,the disciples came to Him and shew Him the stones of the Temple.

    2-JESUS said unto them,See ye not all these things?verily I say unto you,There shall not be left here one stone upon another,that shall not be thrown down.

    The testimony of JESUS is the Spirit of prophecy.What He said was LITERALLY fulfilled in the year 70AD,40 years after His ascension. There should never again be built another similar Temple,the den of the thieves never came to be rebuilt as it was.

    Notice that concerning the destruction of the Temple,it has nothing to do with Mount Olives;

    Mount Olives has to do only with the DESTRUCTION of the WORLD of Devil in the current time,from now on.

    Israel was destroyed from 70 to 1948,1878 years of severe punishments and curses- Deuteronomy 28:15-68-the Temple there should never again be built another.The father of the Jews- John 8:44-will be cast down into the bottomless pit,that he should deceive the nations no more- Revelation 20:1-4.

    -2ND EVENT-DESTRUCTION OF THE DEVIL's WORLD & SIGNS OF JESUS's COMING

    3JESUS sat upon the mount of Olives.The disciples came unto Him privately,saying:Tell us,when shall these things be?

    1-What shall be the sign of thy coming?

    2-And of the END of the world?

    4JESUS gave a list of signs,saying what AT FIRST will happen:

    (1)Take heed that no man deceive you;

    (2)For many shall come in my name,saying,I am Christ( John 5:43-48);and shall deceive many;

    (3)And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:see that ye be not troubled:for all these things must come to pass,but the END is not yet;

    (4)For nation shall rise against nation,and kingdom against kingdom;

    (5)and there shall be famines;

    (6)and pestilences;

    (7)and earthquakes,in divers places;

    JESUS warned:All these are the beginning of sorrows.At first,all these things must come to pass,but the END is not yet.In fact,it is a PRETRIBULATIONAL PERIOD

    Part 2.

    Leviticus 26:32-33 is the condition Israel is in in Ezekiel 37.

    Again judgment is much broader than the Babylonian captivity.

    Deuteronomy 28:37 "And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among ALL NATIONS whither the LORD shall lead thee.

    Deuteronomy 28:64-68.

    "And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

    And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:

    And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:

    In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.

    And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you"

    This dispersion began when Roman destroyed Jerusalem 2000 years ago.

    We have a regathering taking place here and we regard that as flesh on the bones but it shows up without the spirit as mentioned. ( Ezekiel 37:8.)

    "And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: BUT THERE WAS NO BREATH IN THEM.

    This is their current condition.

    Verse 12, Is a ressurection of the Nation.

    Ezekiel 37:12. "Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, ( AND BRING YOU INTO THE LAND OF ISRAEL.)

    Pt 1

    Ezekiel 36:26 reads, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh"

    You said,

    "Israel failed with the Law of Moses and the tradition of their fathers. Only in Christ shall they reach that state"

    Israel wasn't able to reach that state under the Mosaic law. The Mosaic law wasn't given for that purpose!

    Ezekiel and Jeremiah states that God was going to do something NEW!

    Jeremiah 31:31-34.

    Ezekiel 11:19-20.

    Ezekiel 36:26-27.

    The Spirit within represents a NEW birth. The Law and the Prophet's taught this

    Jesus counseled Nicodemus on this in

    John 3:5-10.

    Nicodemus was expected to Know this being that he was a Teacher of Israel.

    The interpretation of the sticks is in passage. Ezekiel 37:16-21.

    The two sticks represent the southern and the Northern Kingdom as mentioned.

    Also, they will be gathered from every side and brought back into their own land.

    Let's take Ezekiel 36 and Ezekiel 37 and put them in its proper context.

    There's mention of a new heart and new spirit.

    The dry bones.

    The two sticks.

    Their gathering.

    and their own Land.

    Ezekiel is writing during the captivity of Babylon but his writings extends past the captivity on into the latter days as do Daniel and Jeremiah.

    Judgment of Israel is of a much broader scope than the Babylonian captivity.

    We find that in Deuteronomy 28:37 ,64-68.

    It's important to note that this dispersion is global, Not Babylon.

    Also the gathering Ezekiel is talking about is global and exceeds Babylon.

    This is a second gathering! Isaiah 11:9-12.

    Isaiah 43:5-6.

    When you read this you'll see that it has never happened.

    They still have a heart of stone.

    Some look at Israel today and say this must be the Church but "in those days" there is more to consider here than just the New heart concerning this prophecy.

    look at the previous verses. Isaiah 11:6-9.

    (Soon will manifest the Beast of the earth who has two horns like a lamb,actually a false lamb,a false messiah,AN IMPOSTOR. John 5:43, 2Thessalonians 2:3-4, Revelation 13:11).

    Hello Heir: What you have said is very interesting. It may seem hard to imagine why someone would be willing to forgo the wonderful blessings God promises them for the terrible curses they ended up suffering. But if we look at the way the world has been and how it is now we can see that the human heart is so terribly disobedient to God. Most people don't want to be on that straight and narrow path that takes them to heaven, they would rather be rebellious and have it their way. I do praise God that we are on the path that leads to heaven.

    I noticed you mentioned that you have never heard priests preach on this chapter. Are you a Catholic? I was raised by a Catholic mother but in my experience I found the religion shallow and hypocritical. Please don't be offended. I know there are a lot of Catholics who love Catholicism. The reason I am asking you this is, frankly, I hope your answer will be no because this religion doesn't tell the truth of salvation; that it is by the blood of Jesus Christ ONLY. I hope I hear from you so we can discuss this more. I love you in the Lord and I am hoping you are a child of God. God Bless :)

    This book is describing the transatlantic slave trade. And they would be sent into Egypt Again, which means this particular nation of people have had a history of being enslaved prior.

    Me Personally have been going to church my entire life and not once have I ever heard the Priests, Pastor's preach this book in complete.

    Which Is why most don't understand even though it's clear who the people are the book speaks of and who claim to be but are not.

    The most high Yahweh leadath Israel into captivity in Egypt for disobeying his laws and sent Moses to being them out but they hardheaded Israelites continued there disobedience of his laws so the most high sent them into Egypt again this time on ships with yolks of iron upon thy necks sold to thy enemies separated from there children never to see them again given names and nationalities of the gentiles so they would no more be known as Israel and would work on pagan gods of the heathen so they will be broken.

The answers to your questions are actually found throughout the Bible (from Genesis to Revelation), because the Bible essentially shows us how far mankind has fallen away from his Creator (because of sin), the repercussions we face from living in such a sinful state, & what God has done to offer correction & help, or else, judgement. So, one merely has to read through the Bible (even in your daily devotions/readings) & will see how people, yes all of us, have done wrong towards God & man & what subsequently entails from that. Some will learn & be corrected & then restored - others will persist in their evil ways & face God's Judgement.

    So, here are some passages to start you off, but in your reading of the Bible, God's Spirit will alert you to what you seek or even where some action needs to be taken in your own life.

    For "Consequences", see: Genesis 2:15-17; Genesis 3:16-19; Deuteronomy 28:1,2,15; 1 Kings 11:9-11; Job 4:8,9; Isaiah 59:2; Jeremiah 17:9,10; Matthew 27:3-5; Romans 6:23; Romans 13:4; Galatians 6:7,8; 1 Timothy 5:8; James 2:10; Revelation 20:12-15.

    These are just a very few Scriptures, reminding us that there will always be consequences for our actions, not just in our dealings with each other, but more importantly, as we stand before God.     More than opinion is revelation. Matthew 24 has in part been LITERALLY fulfilled. In the year 70AD, verses 1 and 2 were fulfilled with the destruction of the Temple of Jerusalem and the dispersion of the Jews throughout the world during 1878 years of severe plagues and curses, in addition to insufferable pain, according to Deuteronomy 28:15-68, 53 verses of strong and severe punishments.

    Now, verses 3 to 8 are being fulfilled, the beginning of sorrows, and the decay of the Churches with the development of apostasies and iniquities-verses 9 to 14.

    Then, the last week- Daniel 9:27- is about to start and with this event the persecutions of the first half of the week-42 months- Revelation 13:5- by the Beast of sea, culminating with the establishment of the Abomination of Desolation for 1,290 days in the second half of the week (plus 30 days)-verses 15 to 27 combined with Daniel 12:11 and 11:v.31. It is the END of this world and a sign of the coming of JESUS: Matthew 24:3 combined with Revelation 11:15-18. Blessed is he who waits and comes at 1335 days- Daniel 12:12 , 45 days after finishing the Abomination of Desolation. GET READY

    Promises for believers "practical" considerations.

    And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: ( Deuteronomy 28:13).

    Some things in our Christian walk may seem like worldly wisdom; but when we live in a society that is decaying much like the Roman Empire did we see how God contrasts the rewards of those with a work ethic compared to those who don't. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 states that if we don't work we don't eat; and amazingly enough Lenin who started Communist rule in Russia had the same ethic along with some early labor leaders in this country. The verse I have quoted could certainly apply to those who do NOT subject themselves to "usury" which God's people were told not to do or do to each other (see Nehemiah 5:7-10; Leviticus 25:36). That process; of course leads to bondage for extended payment well beyond that borrowed; and has many people in slavery in the world today.

    When push comes to shove; when we ask God to provide income He will provide what is necessary in His timing if we are physically and mentally up to the work. To save money should of course be for our families and future inheritance as well as to meet our own needs; but also the principle of saving a little at a time is beneficial if we need to help those in our midst; particularly in the Body of Christ.

    There are many other admonitions in scripture for husbands; wives and children to follow; as well as single people and widows.

    If we call ourselves "Christian" and are lacking in any of these disciplines and we find God blessing someone who is not a believer because they are following some of these principles we should not be surprised. God is impartial and blesses those He wishes to bless; curses those likewise according to His will. (see Luke 16:9-13 as to how to use "unrighteous mammon"

    A thought on the resourcefulness of the Amish

    Given the plethora of postings I have planted here today I will attempt to cease and desist for at least the rest of today. My last posting made a few statements on blessings and covenants of God.

    In light of the current economic situation today; we face the very real spectre that our food supply may be in dire jeopardy; and hence may be the best investment to make. Precious metals as of late have taken a hit and we don't find an edible gold bar as an option. Those who are able to sustain their family and perhaps church communities that can do this with arable land will benefit uniquely; and the Amish are one example of "backward" culture that has managed to avoid starvation (as far as I know) by responsible sustainability of their arable land over the centuries. There is the tendancy to view such a mindset as like the cults; no doubt such ventures in the past have been used to entice people from true worship to that of the cult leaders. This should certainly not deter us from the positive lessons sustainability of this sort brings.

    Given the insane state of much of America's youth today (and spreading to other countries no doubt); again we can see many advantages to communities who keep to themselves in this manner. There are unique problems and issues; of course in any community that we must avoid. Nonetheless it is worth considering; as our homes; our stocks; our possessions are of little value if we can't feed ourselves! The state of our power grid is grim; and whether it be an EMP; a terrorist event or a Carrington (solar flare) situation the crap seems like it is going to hit the fan at some point not to far from now unless a complete overhaul is undertaken. I am reminded of Deuteronomy 28:13 where we are told to be the "head and not the tail"; lending and helping others in difficult times. This is a deviation from a purely Biblical subject; but as James 1:5 shows God gives wisdom if we ask

    The bible the Old Testament was written in Hebrew and the New Testament was originally written in Greek then English. in order to understand why Jesus, the son of the living God, said the father who is God.

    you need to go back to geneses and to be exact in Hebrew where you find in Genesis one 1:1 in Hebrew Elohim. the Name ELOHIM is in Plural and immediate we are introduced to God the father God the son and God the Holy Spirt.

    Now we see from the very first chapter of the bible The Trinity created all we see visible and the invisible which we can note see with our naked eyes.

    This means there's one God who exist as one person yet eternally exists as three distinct Persons God the father God the son and God the Holy Spirt and in

    2 peter 1:17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. 18And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

    and lastly this is the will of the father that each man shall obey His word and if we will obey, He will be our father and we, His people.

    Dear "Rick Colombe" then you have read well between the lines.

    I've been here for a little eternity and never perceived anything like that. Injustice is the worst thing I know and then I get a little angry. Then I seek the Lord and all will be well. So it's not for me to be a respecter of people. We are all alike before the Lord. Woman, man, no matter where on the planet we come from. In He there is no difference! Often we see foreigners come up with phrases like racism. And then it becomes the case that it is the foreigner himself who is racist. Not those who welcome them into their country, or in their families. We feel treated differently and so on. Then the spikes stick straight out from people who feel differently treated. Then those people should look to themselves and not gape and scream about racism.

    And are we with the Lord Jesus Christ and know that in He we have light. and love. Then it does not matter how one looks.

    Regards with Matthew 13 chapter. Stay strong in the word of God and be patient with all people. Love u in Christ

    April 12, 2023. Wow..wow..wow. After reading several of the comments posted, and many a couple years old it appears that there are many in this forum who are pushing racism. Please help me understand why skin color matters? Especially after God has said again and again that what matters is what's in a person's' heart. This whole skin color should be a non issue, as the real issue is where our hearts are.

    We are living in troubled times where good is called evil and evil is called good. I really feel that those who are fixed on skin color have been deceived to believe their own lies. I pray God gives us all eyes that see and ears that hear all of what He wants, rather than what self wants.

    Wake up America!!!

    I'm taking the word "cursed" directly from the Bible not other witchcraft things of this world because GOD said no undue curse shall stand. Proverbs 26:2, That stuff has no power over Believers that stay in GOD's ways.

    Malachi 2:2, Deuteronomy 28, Leviticus 18:8, Leviticus 20:11, the laws GOD had given Moses included the things forbidden that he was actually asking for Solomon to give permission. Being the king, guilt would have cursed as Deuteronomy 28:15-68, promises. Israel agreed to that, in Deuteronomy 27,

    Look also at Ezekiel 21,

    where are the 12 tribes of Israel located today? the bible clearly states that Judah would be scattered Isaiah 11:12, but in jole it says that Judah would be sold off to the Greeks Joel 3:6 which happened after 70 AD which the romans chaste the Israelites to west Africa where they was sold into slavery Deuteronomy 28:68 which was the slave trade according to history

    Thus saith the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one saith, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.

    And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there. And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me. Isaiah 65:8-10.

    NOTICE: HERES A CONTRAST GROUP IN Isaiah 65:11-16. These blessings is not to ALL!

    Isaiah 65:17. parallels with Revelation 21:1. So you can go back and forward between the two books and get the sequence of events in its order and see the players involved and their separate destinations.

    Isaiah 65:18-20 is clearly Israel and clearly future. (Not the Church)

    See here the parallels:

    Isaiah 65:19. and Revelation 21:4.

    Isaiah 65:21_23. and Deuteronomy 28:30-33 ( Deuteronomy 28:45-46) is clearly Israel.

    Isaiah 65:25. Clearly future.

    Notice the economy, location, two groups and two fates, in both Revelation and Isaiah in both books last few chapters.

    Isaiah 66.

    Isaiah66;17-21. and Matthew 25:31-46. (Judgement of the individuals of the Nations) Notice three groups 1) The sheep.

    2) The Goats. 3) The little ones. (Possibly the 144000 sealed servants.)

    Isaiah 66:22. Shows Gods faithful promises and purpose for Israel is eternal.

    Now we come to Isaiah 66;23-24.

    Isaiah 66:23. Speaks of All those who are saved!

    Isaiah 66:24. Speaks of those who are not. ( Revelation 21:1-8.)

    IS 66;24. And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: FOR THEIR WORM SHALL NOT DIE, NEITHER SHALL THEIR FIRE BE QUENCED; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh. ( This speaks of their eternal state of damnation.) as seen in Revelation 20:13-15. Revelation 22:11.

    2 Peter 3:6-14. Speaks of two groups, repentance, consequences.

    And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.

    Acts 17:31

    Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

    Colossians 2:2

    That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

    1 Thessalonians 1:5

    For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake.

    Hebrews 6:11

    And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

    Hebrews 10:22

    Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

    By consenting to become a born again Christian ( John 3)

    To let go and receive the salvation of Jesus Christ;

    To be filled with the Spirit of Jesus, the Holy Spirit.

    An exchange is made in Heaven as your name is recorded in the BOOK OF LIFE. Jesus takes your sins (past, present, future) upon Himself. He becomes your Lord; but it takes some Bible reading to discover that.

    You have assurance that FAITHFUL IS HE THAT PROMISED. All your sin is washed away with his blood. Isaiah 1:18. (Past, Present, Future)

    If we have failures (we all do) then mark in your Bible,

    1 John 1:8-10. Pray and confess. Jesus throws it as far as East is to west (infinity).

    This is why we sing Blessed Assurance at Church. :)

    It has definitely happened. Instances where it happened include:

    The northern kingdom of Israel suffered it during the latter end of its existence.

    2 Kings 6:24-30

    The southern kingdom of Judah suffered it during the Babylonian conquests that kept increasing the number of those being led into captivity. Ezekiel was a captivity prophet.

    Ezekiel 5:10

    Extra biblically, the Donner party is a famous case of famine driven canabalism.

    Revelation includes famine and death by hunger as two of the 4 horsemen. Revelation 6:5-8. It is likely horrors like canabalism will occur.

    In Deuteronomy 28 it warns that Israel could go too far away from God and end up eating their children. Has this ever happened? Or is it a prophecy?

    In biblical times, being smote with an affliction of Hemorrhoids or "Emerods" was considered an appropriate celestial punishment for high sins and misdemeanors.

    Jehovah did not like unauthorized eyes casting glances at the contents of the Ark of the Covenant which reputedly contained the stone tablets on which the 10 commandments were written, along with Aaron's rod and a golden jar of manna. This happened a lot when the Philistines captured the Ark at the battle of Eben-Ezer where the Israelites were defeated with the loss of 30,000 men. Curiosity about what was in the Ark got the better of the victors.

    When bad things started happening to the smitten Philistine's bottoms, they were happy TO RETURN THE ARK to it's rightful (Israelite) owners.

    "The LORD will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed."

    Deuteronomy 28:27 (KJV)

    9 And it was so, that, after they had carried it (the Ark of the Covenant) about, the hand of the LORD was against the city with a very great destruction: and he smote the men of the city, both small and great, and they had emerods in their secret parts.

    12 And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of the city went up to heaven.
