This did happen. Later on a city was surrounded that none could go in or out Two women had two sons and one said to the other, "lets eat your son today and tomorrow we will eat my son." If you read on you will read it.

To understand the continued failing of the majority of the Children of Israel, you must return to Exodus.. In Exodus we see that from the moment they left Egypt they Murmured against God and Moses, the panicle of their rebellion and rejection of God was reached at the foot of Mt. Sinai in the creation and worship of the Golden Calf! the resulting judgment by God read Ps 81...

sometimes the "" shepherds "" of Christianity lead many astray unwittingly just as did many shepherds of the Jewish religion at that time as it is written in both NT AND OT AS I SEE IT

Shalom! This comment is for Jai. verses 55 and 57. For we will eat the flesh of the children...This is cannibalism. There are many YT vids, that state that the occult is grinding human meat (from abortions) into our ground beef and then casting spells upon all that consume. As of Jan 1, I eat acc. to Leviticus and by my blood Type. I feel and see the diff. I only chicken, turkey, and fish.

If you're sick listen to this chapter and Galations 3 over and over and say Christ has redeemed me from tumor or cancer what ever your sickness is. Listen to redeemed from the curse by Kenneth E Hagin and Read Lilian b Yeoman's books.

Jai your answer to those verses is it’s a curse the Most High put on the people of Israel for not obeying the commandments

Once again...it is our CHOICE. Today we must choose to serve the God of our ancestors--Abraham, Isaac and Israel. Be encouraged Israel and the stranger who follows!

Understanding that bondsman and bondwomen in bible is the ancestry of the so called African American that's brought to America on slave ships that proves so much that the so called black people are the Jews Israelites that the bible speaks about.

Deuteronomy 28 was spoken to Moses By the Most High to tell the people of Israel. The 12 tribes that have been scattered world wide and are still suffering under the curses until the Messiah returns for the remnant that are keeping the commandments, laws statues and judgments.
All other people are referred to as Gentiles and were grafted in.

Deuteronomy 28 is the Chapter that tells us if the blessings and curses that will be upon us when we obey it disobey the laws and commandments of God.

I real enjoyed reading Deuteronomy chapter 28 it brought out in me joy at the being than sorrow or pity because it's a shame that a person would choose darkness over the light of The Lord God that has so much to give and ask little in thought.I perfer to be with JESUS. AMEN

One of the heaviest chapters in the whole Bible. Serving other deities, graven images of wood and stone, and being destroyed as a people.

This precept is admonishing all awaken israelites to speak to their fellow brethren and sisters about their forgotten heritage. Jeremiah 17:4 let you know that Jacob children lost their way by sinning against their power. A command from the Heavenly Father is to show those lost sheep how they continue to sin against God. How can one find them? Check out Deuteronomy 28:46 the sign to identify.

Verse 21 is saying that the children of Israel ( Deuteronomy 28:68) that agreed with the holy covenant are his seed forevermore. They transgressed his laws and despised his judgments therefore they suffered greatly for it (trans Atlantic Slave Trade). Ezekiel 37 reveals their sleep state and how they will begin to wake up and clothe themselves with the garments of righteousness such as Sabbath Day

This scripture is about God 's lost sheep being redeemed from captivity ( Deuteronomy 28:68) and how he will make them known amongst the Gentiles nations once again. Refer to Jeremiah 33:23-26 to see how his Holy people were despised and not recognized as being his people in today's world.

It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God Heb 10:13. Thank you Lord Jesus for coming to save us for the latter part of Deu 28 is fearful indeed Verse 47 indicates that it is not enough for us to serve God but the manner of service is even more critical. We are saved to serve and we must serve joyfully and with all our hearts. I pray Lord that we will take God's seriously Amen

Hi Bruce; If that's how it was for you, I rejoice with you. My experience went somewhat different however from yours; but I know that there was joy in the presence of the angels over this sinner that repented! I haven't kept any day for a memorial, or as special; and I stay away generally from holidays or religious tokens; but have my religion in practical application of the Spirit led life.

disciple, Do you believe Ecc.7:5-11? Thank you for your reply. It certainly is a growing process.
If you mean by patient "skirting around an issue, or flattering someone" when someone is speaking against his word, or making a false accusation, then be happy in your patience. (I mean that with respect, not sarcasm) The Lord has taught me to be bold, and stand up for him.

Majority Text (Textus Receptus) is that from which the KJV was rendered. It is the 1st Greek text published by Erasmus.
The Minority Text (Wescott, Hort, Nestle-Aland, United Bible Soc. Greek N.T.) is that from which every English trans. since the R.V. of 1881 has come. There are some 36,000 differences between the Eng. of the KJV

  • Bruce on Deuteronomy 28 - 8 years ago
When a person is lost, they have no idea where they're at,they have a hopeless feeling. But when they see something familiar,it's WOW! They'll remember that for a lone time. When a person is saved it's a 100 times better! A Day like no other. Born-again. Born of The Spirit. A great Day of Rejoicing,a Day that will be remembered. The unchanged (lost) says no big deal, that Day means nothing.

Hi Lu2677 Thanks for your reply! I too find it very spiritually exhilarating to engage in discussion (and debate!) of the Scriptures. Not only do we exercise our skill and understanding of the Word; (as it is a two-edged sword, and he that waters himself also shall be watered); but it also teaches me how to talk to others and be patient, like I expect the Lord to be with me. Its a growing process!

Thank you, Irene: 2 Timothy 2:16-17 (Stephen's 1550 Textus Receptus) "but profane empty babblings stand aloof from; for they will advance of ungodliness (without piety), and their word as a gangrene will have pasture;..." What was the connection with Deut. 28? I can think, that the evolution of evil over centuries of defiance toward God and His Covenant, absolutely fills up what the Apostle wrote.
