Thank you Jesus as you have commanded us to teach our children with your word and obey them. Help me Lord and let your Holy Spirit lead me that my Son will accept your words and obey them. I will handover my Son into your hands Jesus. You have blessed us abundantly and explosively. Praise you Lord and will worship you alone. I love you Jesus and thanks to your blood Jesus Amen hallelujah

I think following the commandment pretrial begins with our own mother and father, how we respected them or not as well as what we saw and took away from our lives as we grew up and how we applied them, honoring our parents was a commandment of our father,if you didnt listen to them well, chances r you probably will struggle with obedience, being submissive, good thing there is prayer and help from abov

    Amen Irene 123!!!!
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND HIS NAME JESUS, NOT TWO OR THREE IN THE GODHEAD!!
    DEUTERONOMY 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
    Revation 4:2
And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

In verses 10 through 12 Jehovah had brought the Israelites into a beautiful land with things they did not even have to work for and he warned them not to forget Him.

To Vicky/Chastity on v,4, 2011; way to go girls!!! THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE LORD. I just hope they will see this.

Deut. 6:4; 4:39; Isa. 42:8; Lk. 17: 16 - And fell down on his face at HIS feet, giving Him thanks (glory). v. 18 - "There are not found that returned to give glory to GOD, save this stranger."
Isa. says "my glory will I not .....", and yet we see HIS glory being given to - Jesus. Sounds to me like 'Jesus' - is God - manifest in the flesh; The Lord thy God is ONE Lord.

in His reappearance as Christ, our God adds to these holy words something which was certainly missing before His presence between men, He said "and with your mind" these four corners of our "being" as a living sacrifice making then complete the Love of His Father implemented in Jesus which He transmit to all of us as the main mission to accomplish before dying on the cross, even He units two persons whom He loved the most, His mother and Johannes the evangelist...we should be one with Him to be to live like Him, God bless you all.Amen.

Moses was determined to love Jehovah God with all his heart, soul, and strength. Likewise we want to use him as an example and make sure we love God with our heart, soul, and strength

This Chapter has presented the path to peace and prosperity for God's people on earth. It clearly states that God wants His people to live a good life, a life of plenty both materially and spiritually. However he has also made it clear that there are serious consequences if you choose not to obey His commands. Teaching our children to obey His word is also significant. God I love you!

Love this I love that you love God and the part about thou shalt meaning you ought to that's great you're helping people right there. There ar so many misconceptions on Jesus being harsh or strict! It's so not like or about that. Than you so much

How can we possibly not love Him? He gave His Life for me and He is always there when I'm overcome by dark emotions thoughts like 4 this morning. Tnk you my Lord for being there - I do love you so much. I know that I will never be able to love You the same way You love me - but You know my heart and I do love You
  • Pam on Deuteronomy 6 - 9 years ago
Could it be possible, if all things are possible with GOD, that there was only one Jesus Christ, the King, that walked the Earth? The many continents too? Something to think about in awe, if you ask me. Through the Lord, Jesus Christ, with GOD All things are possible. Humility, weakness, mercy, grace, the truth...love and kindness,...true strength becomes one....The entire universe too...???

Verse 4 is considered to be one of the most important prayers in the Jewish liturgy. The significance of this prayer lies in distinguishing monotheism from the earlier pagan practices that recognized many different pagan gods. Each pagan god received prayers for a different purpose. This verse signifies a recognition that there is only one G-d for all purposes.

  • Joshua on Deuteronomy 6 - 9 years ago
No in Deuteronomy 6:13 You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and swear i.e. "obeying" by His name. Now go to Luke 4:8, and Jesus answered and said to him, Get you behind Me, satan : for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and only Him shall you serve. Matt 4:10 leads to Deuteronomy 6:13. Matthew 5:34 is not in the same context as Deuteronomy, read Matthew 5:33-37.
