With all the unjust court rulings happening, I do appreciate seeing God's Justice. Wicked men think that they can do all the bad they want just because judgement has not been executed immediately. That is the time for repentance. However, we are promised that it will not turn out well for the wicked. Jehovah God will bring justice. Unlike human courts, who very often let criminals go free.
  • Brianna Vs. 9 on Ecclesiastes 8 - 7 years ago
Seeing the Bible's words fulfilled in every part of the earth shows how true it is. In every way, shape, and form people are being oppressed around the world. Human rulers are following after their leader. ( 1 John 5:19) That is why Jehovah God's government is being promoted by his people to show that there is a government that is pure

  • Sheila M Robinson on Ecclesiastes 8 - 8 years ago
It's one thing my mother taught me well is to never questioned God; I thank God for knowing my heart and not just judging me according to my actions. Because God knows what is causing the problems to his people unknowingly, principalities. I thank God everyday for his Mercy
  • Norm on Numbers 7 - 8 years ago
John speaks truth here. Also, both Psalms 12:6 7 along with Ecclesiastes 8:4, God the Father makes His obedient to know the 1611 King James version is pure and tried taking 7 years to translate. And give diligence to the "hidden" scripture or "Apocrypha" which is of Almighty God and makes the whole leavened: see Psalms 51:6, 1 Corinthians 2:7 and Revelation 2:17. Be blessed in Christ Jesus our LORD and SAVIOUR. Amen
  • Norm on Proverbs 1 - 9 years ago
Shelly, The 1611 King James translation, which took 7 years to translate is the tried Word of God. It may be profitable for you to diligently study Proverbs 1 again and Ecclesiasticus Chapter 30 in the Apocrypha. I pray God you receive His Spirit to the fullest and may He bless you richly in His instruction, His Word! Psalms 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power: and who may say unto him, What doest thou? Proverbs 8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Solomon shares what he felt in the time God gave him to learn from his mistakes and God still use him after he lost kingdoms except 1. This shows that God kept his promise to David to keep a light for his throne for JESUS. THIS chapter tell me I 'm safe long ss I 'm in Gods will and the ones that 's not it font apply to them.

on the other side of he coin the verse could say "because sentence for a Good work is not executed speedily...... " you can do good deeds all the time but don 't expect any recompense the same day, your recompense will be in heaven..!
  • Issak on Ecclesiastes 8 - 10 years ago
chapter 8 11 it would be interesting to see if God will speedily or instantly punish you for your bad deeds , like if you spit sombebody you will get spited also immediatly, or if you kill somebody you will be killed also immediately,so people will not commit evil acts and will learn from experience.

I think the scriptures apply to those whose lives for some reason still does not align with social and spiritual expectations of them People even so called adults live life not to its fullest potential or biblical recommendations but the way they themselves seem fit drug abusers gays drunkards are a few clear examples

Loving people do not use discipline in a vain or vindictive manner Wise people recognize this and take advantage of such an opportunity and readjust their course while fools abuse it and face eventual consequences that they care to know not may the lord help us to prosper from his valuable provision amen

I QUESTION THE PART ABOUT WISE AND VIRTOUS MEN BEING IN THE HAND OF God. SOME HOW I GOT IT MIXED UP THAT GOD RAN THE EARTH THROUGH WISE AND VIRTOUS MEN AND MEN can NOT UNDERSTOOD THAT or or that this is how the earth is governed say how it is and WAS THE CASE. EXCEPT GOD DOES / I FIND THIS HARD TO PUT TOGETHER AS THE COIN HAS CEASERS FACE ON IT NOT JESUSES!/ GAVE ME SOME TEMPERARY HOPE FOR THE EARTH ( NOW I CANT FIND WHERE I GOT THAT WORDING FROM ECCLESIATES)
  • Brianna on Ecclesiastes 8:11 - 10 years ago
What an application. I thought about this scripture for parents and teachers.

I was in a class where the teacher would do nothing to "control" the class. They just kept letting bad kids act up till it got to the boiling point. Too late. The kid has formed a habit in making you a push over.

Then, this scripture came to mind. It is very true. If you don't handle problems swiftly, the bad person will become set in their ways. Cut the problem off at the start before it becomes a habit!!

  • Neka on Ecclesiastes 8 - 11 years ago
I was taught to always pray for and love one another, not backbiting and acting like everything is ok. Because I know one thing that God doesn't go for ugliness and he is a merciful God.

I think that my God is a mercyful God and and he knows all people are quick to judge each other in stead of praying for your sister or brother when they fall. But God is long suffering with us.
