Tom; I'm curious which English exactly are you referring to? Is it any of those who so loved the Lord Jesus and the Scriptures, that they were mercilessly persecuted, and of the most beautiful and righteous people who were ever born English that were burnt alive for their true holiness and constancy? Is that who you are slandering and demeaning? Should we listen more to your words than theirs?

"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:" Don't you want to grow in grace, and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ? If Jesus said that the only way we will be saved, is by doing all these His words; who are you to say we don't have to know them? Hebrews 5:11-14 explains very well what I'm talking about: being unskilled in the Word makes you unusable.

Hello Bettina Stewart; what is revealed to us through the Scriptures: there is the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit. We can study and pray and grow in grace and knowledge; all which IS OUR DUTY to do while we are here, as good and faithful servants; but only when we get there will we "know even as we ourselves are known." God made man in His image; and replicated Himself to make a people.

Yes ; Christ is the mediator between God and man; there is no trinity that came over from England.

Please help me to understand this and don't get me wrong i love Jesus just trying to understand the word John 14:6 said I am the way and the truth and the life no one comes to the father except through me . and then i read Ephesians 1:1 and it said Grace be to you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ so should we not be giving praise to the one that make us which is God.

As we read this magnificent, Spirit-filled pronouncement of the Glad Tidings; where is the part where we only need to know that we're sinners, and we don't have to be a Bible Scholar? Its not there! Its a man-made watered down contemporary version of "another Jesus, and another Gospel." The full declaration here in Ephesians, as well as in 2 Peter, and MANY likewise Scriptures says otherwise!

Wherefore remember, that ye beingin time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands,
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world. Ephesians 2:11-12 two types, Jews and Gentiles. Yep

My friends, Salvation is simple, yes you have to believe your a sinner and need of a Saviour. Our Salvation is only going to be in the writings of Paul, because Jesus Christ chosen him for our time. Paul said " in the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. Romans 2:16. If we refuse to believe his gospel, we are going to be judged by Jesus Christ.

Lynette, when we are saved by GRACE through faith and that not of ourselves, NOT by WORKS, we are then sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption. Jesus has already paid the price for your admission to heaven by His blood.

I've seen several comments on here about Ephesians being people's favorite book. By the way they are worded I can see they're not sure why they love it so. Maybe this will help: "The Song of Solomon of the New Testament" - "This love God had for Israel, as shown in the Song of Solomon, is wonderfully typical of the love that Jesus Christ has for His church. - cont.

God said you must rightly devide the word, and we are also in the dispensation of Grace, the entire Bible is written for us, but not every verse is addressed to us, or written about us, if you read the red letters of Jesus Christ, then read what He taught after he paid our sin debt, and you really knew how to read and teach the truth, you would not teach the way you do, Ephesians 2:8 it was hidden

I believe that Ephesians is the definition of the salvation method of all the believers. Who believe that Jesus Christ is the one true God, and the creator of all the people of the Earth, and Angels, and all things from the foundation of the world. Called to be saints by receiving the spirit of God in them-with the Holy Ghost of God. They that worship Him, must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Bible reader that's true and God is a righteous Judge so when the Great White Throne Judgment occurrs it is your actions and what you did is what condemns a person or if good they get good rewards. If one truly is sorry and that sin is heart felt because God knows and one ask for forgiveness it will be cleared through Christ.
