Thank You Father for your Word that reminds me of my sinful past and my need for a Savior. Thank You for not giving up on me, by planting a local church in my neighborhood. Praise the Lord for the faithful men who visited our home and presented the glorious Gospel unto my family.

I am encouraged to do as others did in Your Name. I must not be weary nor disheartened when I am up against hardened hearts, because no one was as hardened as I was against Your love for my lost soul.

As difficult as our situation seem to be as at this moment, gas and food prices on the rise. Social, political, economic turmoil most every where we turn. My God and Savior the Lord Jesus Christ is in charge. He will soon return and crush all before Him as in Daniel's prophecy.

Thank You Father for the peace in, peace through, and peace because of Your Son the Lord Jesus Christ.

Bless all the brethren, seekers, and back sliders on this platform with the wisdom, comfort, and joy of the Lord. The Lord to shine His face on all especially the leadership in all facets of our lives.

    My fellow believer:

    Ephesians 2:19

    Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

    1 Corinthians 4:1

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

    1 Corinthians 4:4

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

    1 Corinthians 4:5

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

    1 Corinthians 6:2

Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

Let us grow in grace and in charity for the Glory of God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

A person that has received Jesus according to John chapter 3; also receives the spirit of Christ which is the Holy Spirit. A person has to break agreement with their past (No matter how good, no matter how bad). Receive the Life that is from Jesus.

Through reading and learning the Bible. The Holy Spirit will help you understand what you are reading, or hearing. Being a Christian is not a do-it-yourself self improvement kind of deal.

The Disciples had Jesus on earth. We are the Body of Christ on earth, now. It is best to find a Church near you. Non-denomination is easier for New Cristians. It's good to pray and ask Jesus to lead you to the right one. We are there to learn about the Lord; not judge others in "meat and drink". Give it a chance. To have friends, we must be friendly. Join in singles classes or mens prayer group. You meet more members that way. (Vice versa for single ladies.). Find out what is available.

I like listening to Church on FM Radio stuck in Traffic. It's nice to think of some uplifting Word, instead of grouchy faces in the other cars.

I was a street preacher 36 years; mostly weekends or with other Christians who had that same burden. I still do it because I love telling others about Jesus. We don't do anything for Jesus, that He doesn't reward openly; right now, this day. :D I've been routinely run off by "Christian Scientists", but it always gave me a chance to say, Jesus Loves You.

Try to have fun whatever you choose to do. I think we need to talk to Jesus more, every day_all day. He does care what we are going through. You're part of His Body too. Find out what His Will is for your life. Practice listening because He speaks through the Holy Spirit who in-dwells your heart.

When I knew He was speaking to me, I was smitten with a love I cannot describe. I was so alone for so long; death looked good to me. Jesus saved me. Gave me a new family to love.

Fully agree bro Giannis. In respect to Colossians 2:14, "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross", I would also add Ephesians 2:15, "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace".

Whether referring to the "handwriting of ordinances" or "the law of commandments contained in ordinances", you would know that the same word is used, 'dogmasin' (decrees, edicts, ordinances). It's sometimes claimed that only those 'other' commandments have been abolished by virtue of the Cross & not the Decalogue. Though there was nothing wrong or at fault with any of God's Commandments ( Romans 7:12), it's present application & implications have ceased, because Christ's Sacrifice has nailed it ALL on the Cross. If they were still applicable & to be obeyed to prove obedience, then it shows that Jesus' Death didn't work towards salvation & God's Gift of Grace is a non-event & the whole Plan was a failure. ( Romans 8:3).

But our only attendance now is to Jesus & to His Spirit Who brings out the fullness of God's Requirements for His Blood-bought, giving us both the desire & power to learn & apply them to every situation in life. Therefore, sins of murder, theft, adultery, etc. are no longer clear finite physical acts of transgression, but now the Spirit tells us that they find their root in the heart & can even encompass a much wider range of applications than what is implied in the Decalogue. Jesus came to deal with the heart of sin, not the head knowledge of it. Using any of the commandments as a yardstick of our obedience has limited use for knowledge of Jewish laws & requirements. They have no bearing on the Jew or Gentile who has come to the Cross & under the New Covenant ( Hebrews 8:6,7,13). Blessings brother.

    Daniel,

Amen! We are saved by God's grace and mercy alone. We do not work for our salvation and we do not work to keep ourselves saved. The salvation process from start to finish is God's work, not man's. He saves us, He seals us with His Spirit, and He keeps us saved until the day of redemption. We are bought with a price, and that price was the blood He shed on the cross. Ephesians 2:8-9, which you shared pretty much sums it up. That tells us that salvation is present tense to those who have called out to Christ to have mercy on them and to save them. (For by grace are ye saved, not for by grace you will someday be saved).

    Thank you for sharing this!
  • Daniel - 2 years ago
For encouragement today and always I'd like to share some wonderful things about Salvation.

Can we get saved by a person or named church denomination?

Acts 4:12 - "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

John 14:6 - "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Salvation can not come from another other (pastors, priests, religion, etc) but only from Christ Jesus.

But I have good news for you today!

    John 3:15-18

"That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Wow, isn't that beautiful? But you may ask yourself, "but I've done this or that sin and I've been too wicked." That's what the Pharisees believed. They saw the broken sinners and pitied them...turned them away. What did Jesus say to them?

    Luke 5:32

"I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Don't we have to do works to obtain mercy and Salvation from God? No, the only works are after Salvation from the fruit of the Spirit.

    Ephesians 2:8&9

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

Let us never complicate the simplicity of the Bible and share this with everyone today. The most important gift you can give a strange, relative, friend or even an enemy are these verses (and there are many more) to Salvation. Please use your Holy King James Bible and God Bless!

Hello Don. You asked, "has God preselected the ones who are to be saved through Christ?" I believe He has. But I don't believe that's the full story, because as you shared the reference Romans 8:29, those whom God has predestined were those He also foreknew.

If we then look at those aspects of God's Work in Romans 8:29,30, we see firstly, His Foreknowledge (a knowledge of all things past, present & future). Based on that knowledge, He predestined some to become His children (as His Son is & His adopted ones would be - Ephesians 1:5). Then God's Work upon us begins: those predestined are now called to come to Him/drawn to Him - John 6:44. Those whom He has called, God applied to them the outcome of the Cross, i.e. of Justification - the guilty declared not guilty by reason of substitutionary payment made on their behalf. And those so justified, have received glorification - in part now with the indwelling Holy Spirit (the "earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession" - our completed redemption & glorification fitted out for Heaven: Ephesians 1:14).

Then what part "does our faith in Christ Jesus do for us?" Those whom God has predestined, called, & justified, are those who would be blessed with the gift of Faith - Faith that is needed for God's Grace to do its mighty work ( Ephesians 2:8). What then is the Gift of God? It is both His Grace poured out upon us plus the Faith to apprehend it & fully rest in it. One might ask, 'Can such a person drawn of God resist Him?' I would reply with questions: 'Would God even draw one who wouldn't be saved? Would the one being drawn want to resist the Love of God in Christ & the Holy Spirit's Work of Conviction? And, even if barriers were set up by Satan to obstruct the passage of the sinner into eternal life, would not the God Who makes no mistakes, still bear upon the sinner that he might understand the Truth & find that his hope lay in Christ alone?' John 6:37-40 - none of His will be lost.

The doctrine of election is described as the "total depravity" of man according to the "TULIP" acronym which was credited toward; but not originated with Calvin's set of beliefs on predestination as one of the elements. Simply put; Christ looked down also and saw that there was no man in Isaiah 63:3; thus he renders justice and we are only made right through His sacrifice. If anyone else could have done it; surely Christ wouldn't have to die on the cross; or have to pray that if possible the cup would be spared

( Luke 22:42). It is obvious from scripture that "all men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God". ( Romans 3:23). There are; of course many other verses in both Testaments on that subject.

We could say that since Revelation indicates the fate of ALL who are NOT written in the Book of Life is to worship Antichrist ( Rev. 13:8) we all are going to turn away as your quoted verse in Psalms indicates. Obviously; some do come to God; but since repentance is a gift according to scripture ( Acts 11:18); and faith is also mentioned as such in Ephesians 2:8; it becomes clear that all good gifts come from above ( James 1:17).

This doesn't absolve our personal responsibility; and part of this mystery of election involves man's response or lack thereof to the same evidence at least with external appearance. The sticking point comes as indicated when Christ said "why do you call me good"? ( Mark 10:18). Seeing Him as God in the flesh only comes through Divine revelation ( Matthew 16:17). Others see Him as a "good teacher; Prophet or something else as the earlier verses in that passage indicate. Those people are not "spiritually discerned" ( 1 Cor. 2:14).

Finally; going back to Noah we have the lack of salvation available for hybrid offspring of the fallen angels; as well as those angels themselves. Therefore; a universal destruction occured; except for Noah "perfect in his generations" ( Gen. 6:9). This indicates pure human seed; not sinless

Dear Suze, May you be blessed in your service to your Mom and step-dad. this verse came to my heart as I read your post.

    Ephesians 2:10

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

Heavenly Father, Bless Suze today as she cares for her parents. Provide many opportunities for her to show Your love to them and to share the gospel. It is always good to hear it no matter how many times we hear it. It is the power of God unto salvation. We believe this and trust that Your Holy Spirit will use the gospel message to Your desired end for Suze's Mom and step-dad in these last months and weeks of their lives. We pray for salvation and assurance of eternal life for each of them. We ask that You guide Suze in the words she speaks. We ask that you give Suze strength to provide this extended care for both her Mom and step-dad. We ask that You relieve pain and fear of death from these Life.

We ask these things of You, Father, in the name of Your Son, Jesus, Amen.

Please stop slandering the King James Bible site with heresies. It's appalling some of the things you've written here. You wrote in the topic of abortion (now removed) denoting that a fetus is nothing more than a means to hold onto the uterus. That "fetus" you're talking about is life. That fetus you claim a woman can abort because of violation or choice God gives a heartbeat which is detectable within 3-4 weeks of gestation. And when you are telling people on a Holy Bible (KJV) site to open that as a debatable discussion, keep in mind...this IS NOT social media (where fringe ideas, conspiracy theories, discord, slander, religion and other atrocities are welcome). You're condoning murder. Your name says free but there's no freedom in condoning young distraught readers who may have come here contemplating an abortion and read comments like that. Image if one read that here and committed an abortion and one asked, "now, where did you read that abortion is okay in the case of rape?" And they say, "I read it from "Free" on the King James Bible Online. This is one of the few safe spaces in which sound doctrine can be taught and learned. You also stated "medical doctors are of the antichrist." On the contrary, more doctors have done more for the ministry than most others. I'd say anyone here's welcome but this is not healthy to be writing these things on a Bible site.

I have these verses and leave you with these:

2 Timothy 3:5 "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away." (Knowing in part the Bible or Salvation but denying the power thereof)

    1 John 2:19

"They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us."

Ephesians 2:8-9 are the verses and an open door to God's free Salvation.

But we can't have grace without faith.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: ( Ephesians 2:8)

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. ( James 2:26)

Therefore, to believe the entire Bible and not just parts of the Bible we would need to say we are saved by both grace and works.

And many Biblical passages confirm this:

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. ( James 4:7)

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. ( Hebrews 4:11)

And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him; ( Hebrews 5:9)

and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. ( Revelation 2:23)

And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: ( Revelation 2:26)

I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. ( 1 John 2:13)

To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, ( Revelation 2:7)

He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. ( Revelation 21:7)

We are in a "siege" our selves. Regardless of which group in the city we are in, we all suffer. There seems to be no end in sight, however the right path for us to choose is in our Savior and Lord God Jesus Christ. Scripture and our own history reminds us of the grace and mercies from the Lord. Let there be no doubt in the loving hand of our God. Job 13:15 "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him." Ephesians 2:4 "But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us..."

We must not despair for the promises of GOD are before us. Even the king of Israel tried to kill Elisha, blaming the prophet. The one counselor of the king doubted the Word of the LORD and paid for it with his life.

Let us "trust in the Lord and lean not onto our own understanding."

Look up for our redemption is nigh. The prayers of the saints are powerful and most needed; and our God is faithful and righteous in all His ways.

    Numbers 6: 24 - 27

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them.

God bless all, who are in Christ and love His coming. May 27, 2022

The ministry of reconciliation is given to believers.

    Notice who's addressed.

    Ephesians 1:1.

    Colossians 1:2.

    Also here.

2 Corinthians 5:10-21. For WE must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that ye may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

And that he died for all, that THEY which live should not henceforth live unto THEMSELVES, BUT UNTO HIM WHICH DIED FOR THEM, and rose again.

Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

Therefore "IF" ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

    And all things are of God, who hath reconciled US to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to US THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION;

To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto US the word of reconciliation.

Now then WE are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

For he hath made him to be sin for US, who knew no sin; that WE might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Notice this continues on to the next chapter.

    2 Corinthians 6:1-13.

    Here's a contrast in

    Ephesians 2:1.

    Colossians 3:5-6.

    2 Corinthians 6:14-18.

    2 groups, saved and unsaved.

    Brother S Spencer:

In your conversation with Kay, you said:

Those who say there is no Hell or Satan preach against the cross.

Ephesians 2:5 Having abolished in his flesh the emnity (heart of Satan at war with the heart of God), ...... for to make in himself of twain, one new man ....

Ephesians 2:6 That he might RECONCILE both unto God in ONE BODY by the CROSS having SLAIN the EMNITY thereby.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace, through the Blood of his cross, by him to RECONCILE all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

This says that that emnity WAS SLAIN and all things RECONCILE to him by the blood of HIS CROSS.

The says that there is a hell; preaches against the cross. Abolishing, THAT ALL by the blood of his cross WERE (finished) reconciled to him.

Are all things reconciled to him, or is it up to MAN?

    God BLESS YOU!

    Numbers 15:29

Ye shall have one law for him that sinneth through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourneth among them.

    Leviticus 24:22

Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the LORD your God.

    Numbers 15:16

One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourneth with you.

    Ephesians 2:19-20

    19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;

    20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;

Do these Scriptures make up airs to the kingdom of God along with the "Jewish" people?

Why then can't a Christian buy land in Jerusalem without converting?

The earth is the Lord's, God has given Satan power over the earth to do what he pleases according to God's word, will and power. Satan has no power outside of God's will.

    Annie:

Galatians 3:18 For if the inheritance be of the law, but it (the inheritance) is no more of PROMISE, but God gave it to Abraham by PROMISE.

We have to know what this PROMISE is.

    The PROMISE was A SEED.

Luke 8:11 ....THE SEED .....is THE WORD OF GOD.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the WORD (THE SEED), and the WORD (THE SEED) was with God, and the WORD (THE SEED) was God.

Now we know Christ is the SEED, but Christ is also the ANGEL of the Lord; therefore HIS SEED, those born of GOD will also be an angel, because we have become ONE.

Ephesians 2:15 ....for to make IN HIMSELF ONE NEW MAN.

Isaiah 63:9 ....and the ANGEL of HIS (the Father, SPIRIT) presence SAVED THEM.

    Christ is the ANGEL.

A SEED always duplicates itself, wheat seed always makes wheat seed, it's a LAW of GOD.

When Christ the SEED is planted in you; at maturity you will be the exact same SEED: two; you and Christ, become ONE.

Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added for transgressions, till THE SEED (the WORD, Christ); could come to whom the promise was made; and it (the SEED) was ordained by angels (THE SEED of the SEED) in the hand of a mediator.

1 Timothy 2:5 For the is ONE GOD (ONE SEED), and ONE MEDIATOR, between God and MEN; the MAN Jesus Christ (the SEED).

Psalms 82:6 I (the WORD, the SEED) have said ye are gods (SEED made like the SEED planted), all of you are the children of the most HIGH (the SEED).

    THE SEED IS ETERNAL LIFE.

1 Timothy 6:16, ...who (the SEED) only hath immortality, dwelling in the light ....

It helps if you describe briefly what kind of warfare you're going through. It can be physical, mental or emotional or spirits.

I went through the whole list. With Jesus inside of you, "they" know their time is over. Satan will accuse that you are not saved! That hurts but is not the Truth. I tell everyone to write the date of salvation in your Bible. "It is written!"

    LUKE 11:24-26

Christ sends the evil spirits away. But if we neglect feeding on the Bible frequently; building up our most holy faith..

The spirits may return: Luke 11:24-26 (the stronger man is Jesus 11:21). You must furnish yourself with Bible, Praise, and Assembling with the church folk)

    A reading list for you:

    Ephesians 6

    * Acts 19:19

    Galatians 3:13

    Luke 6:28

    Matthew 5:44

    Ephesians 2:13

The angels are sent by God, so we can ask in prayer for their presence in our homes. Act on the promises of the Lord. God wants us to go on from being milk fed baby Christians, to stand up and be warriors of FAITH in ahi's Word.

    Ephesians 2:8-9 Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Response- Yes, by grace we've been saved (past tense). We're told in the next verse that we're made for the purpose of good works. This gives evidence to genuine change in heart & we need to guard our heart (ref. Heb. 3: 12) That's why we can look to Rom 2:6-7 " Who will render to every man according to his deeds:To them who by patient CONTINUANCE in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, ETERNAL LIFE:" You can see from this text that salvation starts at the moment we believe on Christ, but, is not a 1x event. It is a lifelong walk. (Reference Rom. 6: 16 & Gal. 6: 7-9)

John 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Response- John 10:27 "My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they FOLLOW me (present continuous tense). Those who actively follow Jesus will inherit eternal life. John 10:28 is such a blessing to know that no one can take me out of the love of Christ, but, even as Jude warns we are to keep ourselves in the love of Christ.

Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are par takers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

Response- Heb. 12:8 teaches how God corrects His children with the objective of bringing the backsliding back on the strait & narrow. However, we still have a free will and need to come back on our own. Ref. James 5:19-20; 2 Chron. 15: 2)

1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Response- 1 Cor. 5:5 is talking about casting a sinner out of the church, as they could bring grave sin, hence a little leaven leaven the lump. Not a OSAS verse. See 1 Cor. 10: 7-12; 1 Cor. 15: 1-2

We are saved, are being saved, and will be saved it we endure to the end in Christ

May I suggest you reflect on Romans 10:9-13, Ephesians 2:8-9, Philippians 2:12-13.

    Please consider praying this prayer:

Lord Jesus Christ I declare you are my Savior! I renounce any involvement in the world of darkness. I cancel every curse and ask you to forgive those who spoke them against me. I proclaim liberty from every generational curse that existed in my bloodline. I repent for opening doors to Satan. I repent for any of my family sins. I declare every generational curse is made void by the Blood of Jesus Christ. I command every generational curse that has manifests itself as sickness, depression, failed marriages, poverty, confused identity, addictions or shady behaviors to be uprooted and broken off me and my family, in Jesus name. Thank you God for setting me free from every curse in Jesus Christ name!!

Salvation is a gift from God. The Blood He shed on the Cross, the Faith we had to repent and received His Grace...to be born again only truly happens once. You cannot undo what God has done. Only God had that power and He never says in His Word that Salvation could be removed.

Read the words from Dr. Ray Stanford (1916-2012) and he once said, "The moment you are saved, you become a member of the body of Christ. If you could ever become unsaved, part of Christ's own body would go to hell"

Now, what does the Holy KJV Bible say?

We are clearly taught from God's Word that works are NOT essential to our salvation. Titus 3:5 states... "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us..." And again in Ephesians 2:8,9 we are told, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." We are all Hell-deserving sinners! We do NOT have anything to do with salvation except to receive God's free gift by FAITH. Salvation is receiving, NOT giving.

If I cannot do good works to get saved,

then how can I do bad works to lose salvation?

Jesus said in John 10:28, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

"These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." - 1st John 5:13

Some believe because Salvation is eternal...we could go back to sin without consequence. No, there are grave consequences and we do not have a sin license because we have eternal security:

"What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid." - Romans 6:15

Be of peace, live a Holy life risen in Christ, read your Bible as they are our instructions for life and God bless you!

We should look at Abraham's act with Isaac as faith as well as an act of obedience on his part. We; certainly aren't as Abraham being given a son at 99 years of age; with a wife of 90; nor speaking to the Angel of God (Christ preincarnate) and other angels about destroying Sodom and then witnessing the event. Isaac was the son of promise who was to have descendants to multiply as the stars of the sky. The Lord would have to resurrect him; or as he told his son; "the Lord will provide a lamb" and the mountain's name given was testimony to that fact. (Actually a RAM was in thicket; the sacrificial lamb was eventually to be Christ who also needed to be a descendant of Isaac so the fact is that the Lord had to step in at some point.

We need to act out on what we confess; to prove what we possess. It is easy according to James to wish someone to be warm and fed or any other accolaides without doing anything. Surely we need to provide for physical needs as well as spiritual. We also; surely need to preach the truth in love; we can't separate these actions either; as it is not loving to tell people just what they want to hear; nor is it to bash them with truth and not care about the person. Much is the same principle with the Lord; those who love Him will obey His voice. ( John 14:15). He asks why people call Him Lord, Lord and do not what He says in Luke 6:46. We are not of this world; but need to be salt and light; for that is the preservation from total destruction which the Restrainer utilizes in the Body of Christ through the Spirit's current operation. We are told that he who doesn't care for the needs of his own are worse than an unbeliever and an infidel ( 1 Timothy 5:8). Mark 3:35 states that those who are His brother and mother; etc are those who do the will of the Father. We were given works from before the foundation of the world ( Ephesians 2:10). The Holy Spirit works within us; putting to death the deeds of the flesh as a fit vessel

There are some things indicated in Revelation which are past; present and future ( Rev. 1:8). In God's perspective; things have been predetermined; but often there are repeated cycles of progression until the final end determined. Such is the fate of Satan and his minions. Originally; he would have been Lucifer ( Isaiah 14); and would have praised God after the creation with all the angels ( Job 38:7). His fall was due to pride over his beauty. Also; as Ezekiel 28 elaborates; he was involved with trade and violence (verse 16); which could have shown how for an indeterminate amount of time he was establishing some sort of kingdom on the earth while still holding a heavenly role as worship leader.

Thus; Revelation shows a point where Lucifer had found the massive group of coconspirators; and then God's judgment finally took effect. He was not able to rule and reign anymore designated as the music worship leader and whatever else the original position God created him for entailed. The book of Job indicates in the first couple chapters that Satan still would stand before God during the heavenly council meetings; and spent most of his time walking "to and fro through the earth" ( Job 1:7). As the accuser of the brethren now; He has no more hold on death since Christ's redeeming death on the saints. This allowed the rightous souls of the O.T. saints to be released (captivity taken captive) in Eph. 4:8 as prophesied in Psalm 68. He is still the prince of the power of the air ( Ephesians 2:2) which is the atmosphere above the earth. When we get to Revelation 12; we see how Satan and his angels are thrown down to earth and even stomped on likely by Satan himself ( Daniel 8:10). Satan only desires glory for himself; therefore any other false religion and the one true one is destroyed. Hence; he and his minions prepare for the Psalm 2 suicidal massacre attempting to fight Christ Himself at His return. He is put under the earth until final judgment in Rev 22.

I believe this depends whether or not they truly receive the Grace of Jesus by Faith (Salvation). The moment Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He fulfilled the law and Grace by His Blood became the only means of Salvation. When I was catholic growing up I believed that Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave...but I wasn't saved. The catholic church set aside a myriad of works and I didn't even know the basic means of Salvation. If you know someone like this, share with them the GOOD news...we know longer have to live under the works of the law for Salvation:

    Ephesians 2:8-10

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."

"By Grace are ye saved through Faith and that not of yourselves" (works of the law or works by any other means of religion) and concluding "not of works, lest any man should boast."

    Amen!

There's only one requirement to Salvation and to Heaven when we die (although among other things -- modern false theologians will tell you there's no heaven after death...don't listen to them). That requirement in Ephesians 2: 8-10, Romans 10:9-13, John 3:15-21 are the those to us who've received the Grace of God by simple Faith in Him (Christ Jesus) & His finished work.

After you're saved, challenge yourself where you want to start reading. Ideally, it would be nice for every born again believer to read the entire Holy Bible from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22; but not all get there. Some had died before finishing the Bible but their Salvation is eternal and they're with the Lord now. You know, when I first got saved...one of the first books I read was the book of Job. Start somewhere and challenge how much you can read and comprehend at one time. I typically read verse by verse slowly to make sure I have a clear understanding. Sometimes I need to read an entire chapter of the Bible twice to make sure I understand completely.

About going to hell (unless I've misunderstood) about going to hell for not reading the whole Bible or the King James Version; that's not true. God would have us to read His entire Word but if a soldier accepts Christ on the battlefield and is critically wounded; they'd die before getting to know more than a single verse. But if that single verse was as of those I listed above; God will welcome him home. Just an example. Try to challenge what you read daily whether it be verses, chapters or an entire book of the Bible. I believe the King James Bible is the only truly inspired Word of God. But if someone is reading the Word of another version; I don't believe they'd go to hell. Although I'll warn that paraphrased Bibles do have a wicked message (The Message Bible); paraphrasing God's Word is sinful. Also careful with what you read from certain books or on the internet. There are more false doctrines on the internet now than there ever has been.

Genesis 1:28, other translations say "to fill" or "make full" the earth, replacing "replinish" , it would be interesting to do original text reasearch on the word.

    Genesis 2:16,17,

If you look at Genesis 5:1-2, it can change the perspective, to who exactly the name Adam, is referring to. It's similar to referencing "man or mankind, man made" the difference seems to be clarified more when it says "the woman " Genesis 3, if we look however as Genesis 2, being in chronological order, then the woman arrives Genesis 2:18,19,21,22, after. However Genesis 3:1-3, shows she was very aware of the 'law' 2Corinthians 11:3, 1Timothy 2:13-15,

Genesis 2:23, He 1st named her ' woman ' interestingly Jacob also seems to do the same when GOD changed his name to Israel he continues to be referred to as Jacob, also. Genesis 32:28, Genesis 35:10, Genesis 46:2,5,

It doesn't say their children would be a punishment, Genesis 3:16, pregnancy & childbirth is difficult, painful, with distress. Woman also have hormons that magnify crying 'sorrow'. Explaining the curse also. Why, seems to be explained in Gen. 3. Revelation 12:2, John 16:21,

Genesis 3:7, fig leaves, will decompose & provide no warmth, It's a temporary, hasty, bad choice. Genesis 3:21, compassion, provision, love, mercy, knowledge, wisdom & protection, is why GOD made coats of skin for them. Remember they were no longer allowed in the protected environment of the special garden. Genesis 3:23-24, Ephesians 2:4,

"how, did GOD make skins from animals for them & why" It appears to be the 1st animal sacrifice to cover "mans sins".

    Romans 5:14, John 3:15,16, 1Corinthians 15:22, 1Corinthians 15:45, 1Chronicles 1:1, Luke 3,

    Proverbs 7, Romans 8, Hebrews 10, Matthew 13,

    Hopefully these are all helpful
