1 Corinthians 9:26-27
" I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I MYSELF SHOULD CASTAWAY."
Phillipians 3:12-14
"Not as though I had already attained (the prize), either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I MAY APPREHEND that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.Brethren, I COUNT NOT myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. I PRESS TOWARD THE MARK FOR THE PRIZE of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus."
Ephesians 5:3-6
"But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks. For this ye know, that no whoremonger, NOR UNCLEAN PERSON, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, HATH ANY INHERITANCE in the kingdom of Christ and of God."
Ezekiel 17:24
"But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, AND IN HIS SIN THAT HE HATH SINNED, IN THEM SHALL HE DIE."
Matthew 25:1-12. The parable of the 10 virgins.
Matthew 25:14-30. The parable of the servants who were given the talents.
And so many other verses...
Note Genesis 4:4 "._..._respect unto Abel & his offering:"
Genesis 4:5 "But unto Cain & his offering._._."
Genesis 4:7
It seems to clearly say it was the person, giving it & how. There are other times GOD didn't accept bad attitudes, behavior nor their sacrifices, or offerings. Hosea 8:13, Jeremiah, Amos 5:22, Malachi 1:10,
Notice Isaiah 58, Proverbs 21:3, Psalms 19:14, Proverbs 21:3,
Proverbs 18:5,
Isn't it interesting how when Jesus was helping people, healing & teaching, His brothers in the Temple also were likewise ready to kill Jesus making Jesus sacrifice acceptable to GOD & not their own? Mark 12, Hebrews 12,
Romans 12:1,2, Ephesians 5:1-21, 1Peter 2:5,20,

18 Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,
Ephesians 5:1-2. BE YE THEREFORE FOLLOWERS OF GOD, AS DEAR CHILDREN;
AND WALK IN LOVE, AS CHRIST ALSO HATH LOVED US, AND HATH GIVEN HIMSELF for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Isn't that amazing Love! Christ did this whilst we were yet sinners! Ye didn't say only if you straighten yourself up I will die for you.
He died in our place while we were yet sinning.
He made salvation possible for the worst sinners ever, To all who come to him!
Paul says "And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
be ye therefore followers of God as dear children and walk in love as Christ has also loved us and hath given himself. Ephesians 4:32-5:1-2.
Her we see Love, Mercy, forgiveness, kindness displayed by the Lord.
We can't achieve this on our own. This comes by being connected to the true vine! John 15.
This is NOT expected from the world but if you are a child of God you should be able to exhibit this, especially amongst brothern.
This is not saying you shouldn't rebuke an apparent apostate.
I'm saying a supposed brother shouldn't display hatred towards another brother over doctrine, especially when that doctrine holds truth.
It reminds me of John 8:43-47.
You may not agree with someone when they speak truth but the spirit in you want cause you to hate the one that speaks it! And likewise if they're not.
1 John 4:20.
God bless brother.
It's my opinion that when we take liberty to engage on a website or any other social gathering we tend to set aside the teachings for the Church and become liberal in our walk!
Just because a website gives us liberty to conduct ourselves in an open way doesn't mean you set aside what's given to the Church!! Our church guidelines are accepted.
It's as tho we leave our light at home. The Church is in the world to be a witness and have a compact on the lost,
So bring EVERYTHING you are taught and believe in to the site Church.
A BELIEVER CAN'T LEAVE THE CHURCH BEHIND! YOU ARE THE CHURCH.
Ephesians 5:7-21. be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
These and ALL of Paul teachings should be part of our everyday walk, not just with our local gathering on Sundays.
These things is set in order for a reason.
God bless.
We are promised to receive a blessing for reading this Book; but that is for hearing it; and heeding it ( Rev. 1:3). There are things specifically for the churches and calling out in some cases just a few individuals who are "worthy" ( Rev. 3:4). The same principle applies to the Laodicean church for anyone who hears Him knocking at the door ( Rev. 3:20).
This book goes to the fate of the whole world; beyond what could be called this current "dispensation". It seems apparent to most scholars that after Revelation 4; there isn't any more mention of the church on earth until Revelation 20 with those in glorified bodies. To me; since we ALL are saved by grace I wouldn't dogmatically state that the age of grace ( Matt. 16:18) will be totally ended; only the function of the Holy Spirit once the restrainer is removed (the believing remnant church) at the rapture ( 2 Thess. 2:6). What we see change is the preservation of the church as an institution ( Matt. 16:18) and the normal experience in the Tribulation of martyrdom ( Daniel 7:21). What remains as a common thread is being WORTHY and having garments of white as our spiritual clothing ( Ephesians 5:27; Rev. 19:18). In order to achieve this status now; we need to be living unspotted from the world and to a large extent patiently waiting until the coming of the Lord; after the Rapture martyrdom will be the norm. Instead of arguing whether those who are left behind are lukewarm believers or all new converts; it is better to understand the concept that all those He has chosen will eventually come to the faith. The main harvest of countless souls attests to the fact that SOME repent when judgments come; while others of course harden their hearts beyond hope. As Jesus stated it is blessed for those who have NOT seen the Son of Man ( John 20:29). It is clear by the sixth seal who God and Christ are; but by then there is only a clear choice to worship God or Satan.
..... Rev. 3:20....Behold i stand at the door and knock if any man hears my voice ( his words his seed ) And opens the door....I will come into him and Sup Sup (Communion) with him and he with me ....This is when he KNOWS us and his good seed is sown in our hearts but its also the bread of life..And thank God that this knowledge is gonna cover the earth as the waters cover the seas...Which is an intimacy with him initiating a birth of H.G..
That is my understanding from the account of Moses' death and burial in Deuteronomy 34:1-7 It says God buried Moses in the valley in the land of Moab, perhaps below Mt. Nebo where he last spoke with God.
These more than helped a lot. Thank you.
These are scary to envisage though... yet must be true because God does not lie.
The Book of Revelation, I think I should finish reading this one ahead.
Is it true that Our Heavenly Father buried Moses secretly?
Amen , how beautiful it is to think that God wants everyone to be saved.
Thank you Richard. I got it. Yes Jesus obedience was really overwhelming , amazing... I couldn't convey with my own words. We Christians must indeed overcome fear. Practice strengthening faith. I always mention the Holy Spirit of God and Jesus when praying to the Father. Really trying my best sometimes to understand the SCRIPTURES.
I do believe your answer is true. I have read some scriptures sparingly . One of those were Jesus words saying " in my Father's house are many mansions , if it weren't so I would have told you , I got to prepare a place for you ... " This sounds so comforting and your answer to my question really adds up so beautifully. I think I need to read the Bible from beginning up to end.
God bless you Doug , and everyone here !
The offices of the Godhead somehow operate in this manner; despite each member being God. The best way I can see this is that God the Father is not able ever to be in the presence of sin without judgment coming from Him directly. There had to be some separation therefore or when Christ died at the cross the whole universe would have ceased to exist the moment He was estranged for that instant from the Father. It would seem the Holy Spirit; since it came from Christ directly at Pentecost has always been the way the Omnipresent Godhead can be within His chosen vessels. Truly; there was always that presence in Old Testament times; as it will be in some ways in the future Tribulation and beyond but the ministry changes. The results of that can be seen contrasting the promises of Matthew 16:18 and the statements of the saints being overcome in Daniel 7:15 etal.
I am stating all this so that verse about the Son of Man not knowing the Day and hour of His return can be better understood.
Christ learning obedience in a self depreciating manner ( Heb. 5:8) while He took on the form of man with all the limitations so He could be our substitute in life and death in every way; being tempted as we are but without sin ( Heb. 4:15) is also unfathomable in our minds. Nonetheless; Christ alerted to us that He comes a day we don't expect. We should be aware of signs; not overcome by fear
"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
Zephaniah 1:15, Ezekiel 30:3, Amos 5:18-20,
Matthew 24, Mark 13,
Isaiah 11:3-4,

Matthew 5:27-37 on marriage and divorce. Take a look at 1 Corinthians 7:8-15; Malachi 3:15-16
Marriage is a VOW MADE BEFORE GOD. The problems in your life are because you don't know how binding a vow is. It would be good for you to make an appointment at a Church that offers counseling. They're not going to condemn you. You will understand the seriousness of the vow.
John 4:
16 Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband, and come hither.
17 The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband:
18 For thou hast had five husbands; and he whom thou now hast is not thy husband: in that saidst thou truly.
Comment: Jesus knows all of our life's story. He didn't condemn her. He showed her a better way to live.
Ephesians 5:33 - Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence (honor) her husband.
My counsel for happiness: wed a Christian man. Genesis chapter 24 is the best love story written.
The Book of Ruth has a happy ending too.

Quench not the Spirit
Ephesians 5:20
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
James 5:14
Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
Seek Ye first the kingdom of GOD FIRST! And His righteousness FIRST!
And these other things shall be added unto thee.
Glory be to GOD ALMIGHTY, even our Father,
and to our LORD JESUS CHRIST for ever and ever
peace and happy and LOVE consume you on our wonderful JESUS amen and amine
Neighbors mocking people and picking fun of them. Such things a slave labor laws.
