GOD 'S WORD IS our SWORD

I Like Ephesians the Armour is very important .

This is powerful

This is powerful

I think this scripture is encouraging to everyone not to rely on their strength but rely totally unpon God in all situations

Ephesians 6 10 is very Encouraging when you Are feeling weak It s a command to hold on and keep the faith That will defeat the enemy because he likes it when we are weak

The armour of serves as a defensive and offensive mechanism for the believer To put on armour means you are either attacking or defending Soldiers wear armour for war The kind of armour paul was talking about is not just a physical weapon but a spiritual weapon In the book of 2 Corinthians 10 4 the Bible says for the weapons of our warfare are not canal but mighty in God through pulling down strongholds Stronghold in a man s life is something that he she has no power over A Stronghold can be something that restricts you prevents you intimidates you or stops you from getting to what God has set for you We need to deplore the armour in order to fight against principalities and to stand against the will of the Devil

This chapter has stood by me through many attacks I am always Victorious after taking time to fight with this passage Especially the part of just rereading the gospel 1 cor 15 and faith hebrews 11 1 Always victorious I repeat

My bible is literally falling apart and I m glad I found some place where I can come to to keep reading as i need to Thanks

I am happy to realize that we are not fighting people relatives which turned their back on us that we cannot understand so now we can forgive them and pray for them instead hate them and pray that god will bring them together and be happy again

The world is not a fun fair but a war fair; the day you enlist with Christ, you sign war with the devil. But with the instrumentality of faith through Christ Jesus, you will surely overcome and win the crown. Christ never says there will be no trouble as a child of God but he said he has given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions( the evil ones) and to overcome the power of the enemies and nothing will harm you

The law allows wicked judges to send mothers to jail for getting a protection order against fathers who initially had abandoned the children and fathers who burn their children and then give the children to the abusive father and will not let the mother contact the child for over six months. What a way to continue a type of separation that existed during slavery!

God has given us the tools that we need to defeat the spiritual wickedness that we encounter every day in our daily life. The Armour of God symbolizes the uniform that warriors dress in before going to war. Since we are fighting spirits in high places, we are given Spiritual paarts of the body. My my envision you standing dressed in the Armour, mind blowing picture. GLORY TO GOD.

The only weapon to fight for us is prayer against evil spirits ,our lord wil stand for us forever AMEN

Man,is not my enemy !!!! The devil and his co-workers are !!!! Spiritual wickedness : Kills, steals & destroys. God : Love, Joy , Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance Against these there is no such law. Praise God. Greater is He that is in me(Jesus) than he that is in the world !!!!

A comment on Ephesians 6:11, When we put on the whole Armour of God and than we will be able to do what David wrote in Psalm 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Eph6:10 is a very important scripture. It's letting us know that in order to fight, defend, wage a good warfare and accomplish, we're going to have to do it in God's strength. The natural man is no match for the demonic forces of hell. We've got to have something inside of us that's stronger than satan and sin. If we'll do it God's way we will always come out on top. There's victory in Jesus.

i come to understand that we cannot do anything whiteout God he is the one who strengthen us.

@JP, I believe The word shod is purposefully used here; in the last days when peace is removed from the earth Rev. 6:4a the only peace left will be that of Christians who carry the gospel place to place. If you haven't shod your feet with the gospel of peace, the peace will be removed from you too.

eph 6:11 it is our first line of defend,may GoD halp us.

holiness is the nature of God and no evil can come near us because what is born of God is god. Sin brings affliction on God's people.

By His Grace, many truths have been revealed to my understanding of how powerful our words are, and our thoughts! What we think is what comes out of our mouths. My thoughts are that we need to consider His Word, in it's over-all message. The battle ground is so often in our minds...lies, evil thoughts, etc... and we cannot fight against them in our own strength! They are spiritual and must be fought spiritually. In other words...we need to have the Word of GOD...His Sword...FULL ARMOR, and be able to speak GOD'S WORD in response, as our defense...our TRUE WEAPON, in order to have any real victory in our lives! These are just my thoughts, but I believe, in faith, they've come from our Great Teacher, the Holy Spirit! God bless and thanks for the opportunity to share my thoughts. I hope they might help someone out there. We never receive anything from God just for ourselves!!!

This Chapter really shows how we can each make practical application of the Bible in our lives. There is something for each member of the family to take to heart when reading this Chapter and Chapter 5. Actually obeying these words and putting them into practice in our lives is what will contribute to the happiness of our families. God knows what it takes for families to be happy and prosper and he has given us principals and commands to follow in His Word. It is up to us to actually apply this counsel in our lives.

That as a christain we should surrender our life and put on the strength of god against the powers of darkness which we cannot fight by our own power or see with our own eyes. Thank you

The book of Ephesians has always been one of my favorites, no matter how many times i read it, the Bible is the best book out there!!!

Those who knows HIS name shall not be forsaken because they are the ones who seek HIM and put their trust on HIM ( Psalm 9:10). GOD shall judge the world in RIGHTEOUSNESS and shall minister judgement to the people in UPRIGHTNESS ( Psalms 9:8). As HE said, "Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil" ( Ephesians 6:11).
