"For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined, in the midst of all the land. Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwell in Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall smite thee with a rod, and shall lift up his staff against thee, after the manner of Egypt." Isaiah 10:23-24 The whole world will be like it was for Israel in Egypt, when Jesus comes.
  • Marilynn Brewington on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
I think it shows how in the beginning Jehovah God had mercy on Adam and Eve,and how to not take people or God for granted in any way cause you will need both of them.
  • Evie on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
To Irene - In the beginning was the
Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Colossians 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

To Michael C. - where does the Bible say that God created everything through Christ Jesus? And Jesus was in glory with the father before the world was? I hope you see my request .....?

  • Michael C. on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
"...therefore that holy thing that shall be born shall be called the Son of God.""God so loved the world, that He gave His ONLY BEGOTTEN SON;that whosoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.""I will declare the decree; the LORD said unto me, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.""the Prince of peace,...the mighty God..." What kind of spirit denies the truth?
  • Michael C. on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
Warner, Beware! He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father. God created all things by Christ Jesus; and Jesus was with the Father in glory before the world was; who are you to say He wasn't? The Holy Spirit says to the Son, "Thy throne, O God, is ever and ever." It is a great mystery; "God was manifested in the flesh..."

To The Warner: I pray that the LORD will forgive me for I forgot to mention John: 3, 16. favorite verse in the Bible.
  • Bud on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
To The Warner: I disagree with you for John 3: 18 says GOD'S only begotten son, there fore you can not change the word of our HEAVENLY FATHER. HE is the WORD and I take it for the complete truth. Enjoy studying. In CHIRST we pray.

I think that was man that want his people to love our children
  • Gene Browne Sr. on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
The 15 pages of Exodus pp 67 thru 96 contain the most important info of the entire book. It describes Gods plan and execution of His device (tabernacle) and equipment (furniture). He beams into it to Earth from Heaven,, (apparently another dimension). We as humans have difficulty taking that for real and so cannot understand. Read it again (only 15 pages) with an inter dimensional slant!

The bible is good for you all
  • The Warner on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
Do no say God has begotten a son. God does not beget nor is He begotten. He is One, not Three. He is Unique, the Creator of the Heavens and Earth and all that is in it. Creator of Jesus, son of Mary, Messiah.
  • Guy tipa on Exodus 1 - 8 years ago
This book of God shows the the faith of Gods people under any circumstance even being murdered for the faith they had in the lord God. Gods love for us to even this very day hasn't changed a a bit God so loved the world that he. Gave his only begotten son that whosoever will. believe in him shall have everlasting life.the whole bible from genesis to revelation. is about Jesus the Christ .
  • Sheldon on Exodus 1 - 9 years ago
i believe also God want to show this generation his power and glory just as he did with moses ,but he is looking for a people that will seperate themself unto him
  • BRENDA BUTLER on Exodus 1 - 9 years ago
Exodus reminded me of today 2016. The enemy is using any means necessary to distract, kill and destroy God's people. Just as in Egypt; we have an Exodus thru faith, belief and practice the ways of our Savior Jesus who; like Moses will Rapture us out of these days of tribulation. Sometimes when I think I am afraid; God reminds me that he will never leave me nor forsake me. His Promises are true.
  • Adenike Agboola on Exodus 1 - 9 years ago
But the midwives feared God. Therefore God dealt well with the midwives. And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.these are verses 17, 20 and 21. It brings to mind the scripture seek ye first the kingdom of God and its righteousness and all other things shall be added to you.
