I am sorry you do not believe what God has said in scripture in the citations I gave you.
Is. 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and His redeemer the LORD of Hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is NO God."
vs. 8
"Fear not, neither be afraid; have I not told thee from that time, and have declared it? Is there a God beside me? yea, there is NO God, I know not any." And God does know all things, so we cannot be gods.
Is. 45:5
"I am the LORD, and there is NONE else, there is NO God beside me..."
vs. 18
"I.... am the LORD, there is NONE else."
vs. 21
"..there is NO God else beside me; a just God and a Savior; there is NONE beside me."
Is. 46:5
"To whom will you liken me, and make my equal, and compare me, that we may be like?"
vs. 9
'Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is NO else, I am God, and there is NONE like me."
In just Isaiah, God says over and over again that there is only one God in all of creation, and HE ALONE is this sole God. There are no other gods, no other for us to call gods because other gods do not exist in reality, only in the imaginations of one's minds and in the images we create or the men we idolize, even ourselves.
Earl, you can quote the few verses that speak of men being gods, such as Ps. 82:6 and Jesus reference to this verse in John 10:34 and the reference to Moses being "as" God to Pharoah in Exodus 7:1 all you want, but the meaning of these verses is that the judges and Moses were representing God before other men, not that they are actually gods in their nature because He has made it abundantly clear that He is the ONLY God that exists.
Earl, those of us who say that the view that we are gods is heresy say so on the basis of what I have explained about the verses you quote and the verses where God says He is the ONLY God. To profess belief that men are gods is heresy. It is usurping God as the sole God of all creation. It breaks the 1st commandment.
Revelation is all about the revealing of Jesus Christ, his creation become the exactness of himself, Christ. All accomplished by the WORKS of the cross of Christ.
It's hidden in symbols; as you study Mosses and the Prophets, those symbols are explained; yet, often they are explained by another symbol, keep studying, Christ will reveal himself to you, you will come to understand you died with Christ on his cross, YOU and Christ arose TOGETHER, a marriage, you BECAME ONE.
The entire word of God is about the kingdom of God, a kingdom of priest and gods, the IMAGE of their high priest, Jesus Christ, they are going to judge the nations with Christ.
Joshua 22:22 The LORD GOD of gods, the LORD GOD of gods ......
Exodus 7:1 And the LORD said unto Mosses, see I HAVE MADE THEE (Mosses) a god to Pharaoh ....
God made Mosses a god to JUDGE Pharaoh...... this is going to happen again ..... this time no Canaanites will be left in the land
Zachariah 14:21 Yea, every POT (we are the pot; the body, Christ the potter) in Jerusalem and in Judah SHALL BE HOLINESS unto the Lord of host: and all they ( Revelation 19:9) that sacrifice shall come and take of them (the pots of Christ), and SEETH THEREIN (be judged) in that day there shall be NO MORE CANAANITE.
Zachariah 12:8 ... and the house of David shall be as God, and the angel of the Lord before them ........
Psalms 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious SEED, shall doubtless COME AGAIN with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
Revelation 21:26 And they (the pots of God, the body of Christ) shall bring the glory and the honour OF THE NATIONS into it.
The saints are going to Judge the earth, ALL JUDGEMENT was given to CHrist; you cannot be a judge and NOT BELIEVE, you were made ONE with Christ by his resurrection.
Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. ( John 9:41).
In the Old Testament we see the mad Prophet Balaam stopped by a donkey who God readily used to block his way and for a mouthpiece of rebuke. ( 2 Peter 2:16-18 as quoted in the N.T. from Numbers 22-24). We see also how the demons Jesus cast out knew who Jesus was ( Mark 3:11-12). This is somewhat understandable from the fact that the angels were there to see God in heaven and witness the creation of the earth ( Job 38:7).
We are warned in James 2:19 about not just saying that we believe in God. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom; this is quoted many times in scripture. The conscience of men can be seared after some time; hearts hardened ( 1 Tim. 4:2; Exodus 7:3 and subsequent verses with Pharaoh). A believer has a healthy awe based on God's Holiness; and without holiness no man can see God ( Heb. 12:14).
Only man could see the miracles of Christ and still remain in unbelief. That would not just be related to the physical miracles when on earth; but also the miracle of salvation which often was accompanied by deliverance in scripture but which we see today. Mercifully God forgives any sin against the Father or Son is forgivable ( Matt. 12:32); but against the Holy Spirit is not.
The Spirit demonstrates His Holiness amongst the ministry of John 16:8 warning the world of sin; righteousness and judgment to come. The opposite of a broken and contrite heart is pride and self righteousness (only the sick need a physician Matt. 9:12).
Therefore such Pharisitical people also make their own twisted judgments on right and wrong and condemn others based on that mindset.
May we read scripture for its true meaning not through any man centered agenda; respecting ALL of it as God's Word ( 2 Tim. 3:16). May we have a heart to always glean new truths from God; seeking His face daily ( Psalm 1:2
Did Jesus create the world and all things; YES and NO, the Father created all things TROUGH Jesus.
Jesus is the instrument in the hand of his God and Father.
Does Jesus know all things, NO, he says so himself.
Are we the instrument in Jesus hand; Yes, he says so himself.
Was Mosses an instrument in Jesus hand, Yes, and Mosses was given power over Pharaoh.
The Father commanded Jesus to have power and authority over creation, Jesus is a God over creation.
Jesus commands his brethren, as they are translated in to the kingdom, to have power and authority over certain aspects of his kingdom, he makes them gods to certain things, and they rule as a god, and have power as a god.
Exodus 7:1 And the Lord (and God of Moses), said unto Mosses, I (your Lord and God) have made thee a (lord) and god over Pharaoh.
Psalms 136:2 O give thanks unto the God of gods ....
Daniel 2:47 ....that your God is a God of gods .....
Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in the Lord Jesus:
Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, though it not robbery to be equal with God.
Jesus is not the God and Father of ALL, but has ALL the power and authority of his God and Father, and when God his Father tells him what to DO, he does so with ALL power and authority of GOD.
We will do the same thing, in the kingdom, Jesus will give us ALL power and authority of certain things in the kingdom, and we will be a god over what put under us.
This will happen when Jesus resurrects all the dead back to their flesh and the saints judge the earth.
In Isaiah 40:17-18 says, "All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity.
To whom then will ye liken God? Or what likeness will ye compare unto him?"
Isaiah 46:5, 9 "To whom will ye liken Me; and make Me equal, and compare Me, that we may be like?....For I am God, there is none else, I am God, and there is none like Me."
Psalm 86:8 says, "Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O LORD; neither are there any works like unto thy works."
This is not saying that there actually are truly any other gods, but that none of the idols can compare to God.
God is incomparable to any other being. He created all other beings, so none of these beings is or can become God.
God became man in Jesus, but no man has or every will become God or a god.
Angels and humans are creations of God, they are not a duplicate or reproduction of God. He said He would not make any gods after Him. His essence is unique, (one of a kind) and only the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit possess this essence that marks their divinity as being solely non-communicable to another being. Divinity is innate in God, it cannot be separated from Him, nor can it be acquired from Him by any other being.
Satan thought that He could become like God or equal to God. He tempted Adam and Eve with this same idea. But neither Satan nor Adam and Eve became divine in any way. And neither will we.
Part 3: SOME ARE CALLED "GODS" OR "SONS OF GOD" IN SCRIPTURES
Exodus 7:1 says "And the LORD said to Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharoah: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet."
God was not changing Moses into a god here. He was indicating that Moses was to be God's representative before Pharoah.
Psalm 82:1-6 says "God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. Defend the poor and needy; rid them out of the hand of the wicked
Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Who and why are they called the two witnesses?
Lord Jesus took Peter, James and John to a high mountain and He was transfigured before them and then Moses and Elijah was talking with Him ( Mat 17:3). These two witnesses had to see the Lord Jesus physically on the earth so when they return to the earth, they will testify about Him ( Rev 11:7) and turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to the father ( Malachi 4:5-6) in the first half of the tribulation period when they will appear on the holy mount. They all witnessed the voice of the heavenly Father speaking to them, that this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased and listen to Him.
These two were the ones who were given the power for the fire to come down, ( 2Kings 1:10) stop the rain, ( 1Kings 17:1) turn the water into blood. ( Exodus 7:20) They are the two candlesticks having the olive branches by their side emptying the golden oil out of themselves for they are the two anointed ones that stand by the Lord Jesus ( Zech 4:11-14) to testify about Him and restore all things as Jesus said. ( Mat 17:11)
Many say that Enoch and Elijah will come again.
They were taken up to heaven and will come back again and then be killed and after three and a half, Spirit of life from God will enter them and then go to heaven. Well in the time of Jesus many died and rose from the dead again, Mary's brother Lazarus ( John 11:43) the widow's son who rose from the coffin, ( Luke 7:15) Dorcas ( Acts 9:40) and the daughter of the synagogue ruler, ( Mark 5:42) yet they also had a second death in their old age. For then Moses and Elijah will die again and be resurrected again for the Spirit of life will enter them and they will go to heaven. ( Rev 11:11-12)
Revelation 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast in to the sea, and a THIRD PART of the sea became blood.
Revelation 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters (seas) which thou sawest, where the whore setteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Daniel 2:45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of a mountain made without hands ....
Hebrews 12:22 But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, and unto a company of innumerable angels.
Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Psalms 104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire.
Exodus 7:17 Thus saith the Lord, In this thou shall know that I am the LORD, Behold, I will smite with the rod that is in thine hand the waters (peoples, nations) that are in the river, and they shall turn into blood.
David, In the Old testament we see numerous occasions of the appearance, as a man, of THE ANGEL OF THE LORD.
Christ is the ANGEL OF THE LORD. Above all angels, he is the archangel Michael.
This is a mystery because he can be inside you as the Holy Ghost, or walk in the flesh as a man. His ministry on earth was in sinful flesh, exactly like we have now; but he was resurrected with the same glorified body that he existed in, with the father, from NO BEGINNING.
Angels are God's messengers.
Malachi 2:7 ...for he is the messenger of the Lord ....
Malachi 3:1 ....even the messenger of THE COVENANT ...
John 17:21 ...that the WORLD MAY BELIEVE that thou hast SEND ME.
Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY ....
You are the body of Christ.
Moses was the body of Christ.
A mind of FLESH (Satan, lies, deceptions, falsehoods) rules our body (of Christ).
When Christ rebukes Satan (lies, deception, falsehoods) he is bring HIS BODY (us) into subjection to TRUTH.
Mosses, with his mind of flesh, didn't think he was up to the task to be a god ( Exodus 7:1) over pharaoh, Christ rebuked Mosses (Satan, lies, deception,,]falsehoods) and caused him to have knowledge of the TRUTH, Mosses was only the BODY that contained the Spirit of Christ, who would be the god over pharaoh.
Matthew 16:23 ...and he turned, and said unto Peter, get thee behind me, Satan ...
A mind that is OF THE FLESH is in direct opposition to the MIND OF CHRIST, therefore a MIND OF FLESH is ANTI-CHRIST, or a mind of Satan, lies, deceptions and falsehoods.
At the time Mosses and Peter were rebuked, there was a war for their BODY, Christ through the WORK of HIS SPIRIT, cast out the one (Satan, lies, deception, falsehoods) contending for their body, which is CHRIST BODY.
Christ rebukes Satan, our mind of Flesh, controlled by lies, deception, and falsehoods, and we become a new creation, with the mind of Christ, learning that we are the BODY that contains the Spirit of God, who WILL BE the god over this world.
The first plague performed was to turn the water of the Nile into blood along with the water in the canals and side streams. The Nile was worshipped. Hapi was the spirit god of the Nile, Isis was the goddess of the Nile, Osirus' blood was said to the waters of the Nile. Khnum was said to be the guardian of the Nile. The Nile was truly the lifeblood of the people of Egypt. Aside from the Nile, fresh water was very scarce. Every living thing needs water to stay alive and the water of the Nile watered the crops and livestock to keep the land of Egypt as a major food source for the Mediterranean area.
This plague made the Nile no longer a life-sustaining source, but liquid poison, so to speak. Its waters were undrinkable and made people ill if they did. Whether it truly was blood or just red by some other organism we cannot know. But the text says that it was turned to blood, not turned red like blood. So, I think it really was blood, but not pure blood like the blood of Christ. It was tainted blood. The magicians were able to perform this same act by magic. So, Pharaoh was not troubled much. He returned to his palace fairly unconcerned and hardened his heart more than before. Perhaps he had a well or stored water and thought that this water would not be blood. But most likely upon inquiring, it was.
The fish in the Nile died, as well, and were unfit to eat. The Egyptians had a fish god and goddess, Hatmehit as goddess, and Rem as the god who fertilized the land.
This chapter tells about the hardening of Pharaoh's heart even more and the beginning of the plagues God brings upon Egypt.
When Moses and Aaron met with Pharaoh, they always ordered Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. Moses and Aaron kept this outcome at the forefront, remembering that that is their sole mission, to secure the release of the Israelites from Pharaoh.
The Israelites were not going to leave Egypt in a stealthy way, nor by the Israelites rising up in battle and defeating the Egyptians. No, God wanted the Israelites to know for sure that it was He, their God who brings them out.
The Egyptians were polytheistic and had many gods they worshipped, many of them being animals. They also worshipped the Nile as its waters watered their land which would be only desert if it wasn't for the Nile. God told Moses that he would be as a god to Pharaoh. This may mean that Moses was going to be YHWH's representative or that Pharaoh would see Moses as another god by the time the release of the Israelites is accomplished. It does NOT mean that Moses is actually a 'god'' All gods beside YHWH are false idols. So, YHWH would not induct Moses as a 'god' because YHWH will never share His glory and place as the only God with anyone else.
The first sign miracle that Moses and Aaron performed together before Pharaoh was to turn the rod or staff into a snake. The magicians did the same magic trick, however, Aaron's rod/snake swallowed up the magician's rod/snakes. This is significant. God knew all of the false idols the Egyptians worshipped and the snake was one of them. It was named Apep and was the god of chaos. Also, Apep was said to pursue Ra (the chief god-sun god) each night in an effort to devour Ra so that the sun would not rise and the world would remain in darkness. So, when Aaron's snake devoured the magician's snakes this showed them that the God of Moses and Aaron was greater than Apep, having been devoured by the rod/snake of Aaron.
Brother S Spencer, New Jerusalem is not a Literal city, but a city whose houses are men, Son's of God, just like Christ. ( Hebrews 3:6) As all things were given to him by the Father, we are given all things by Christ, POWER to rule the nations. AS Moses was made a god over Pharaoh ( Exodus 7:1) the ELECT are going to be made gods over the nations, and the nations want be able to STAY THEIR HANDS.
In Ezekiel 38 this is describing the second resurrection.
In Revelation when John is describing the city (new Jerusalem) the talks about the walls of the city.
In out parts of prophecy it says our walls are salvation.
In Ezekiel 38:11 When Gog comes against the elect, it says UNWALLED villages.
Revelation 20:7 After the thousand years, flesh is released out of prison, death and the grave, the bottomless pit, and they come against the ELECT. But the Elect brings down the FIRE of the LORD on them. The stubble in the is BURNED UP.
Sister GiGi, here are more scriptures that say we are going to be gods. In the Hebrew text the words were never capitalised.
Exodus 7:1 And the Lord SAID unto Moses, See, I HAVE MADE thee a god unto Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.
Joshua 22:22 The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods ......
Psalms 82:6 I have SAID ye are gods, children of the most high.
Psalms 86:8 Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord, neither are there any works like unto thy works.
Psalms 95:3 For the Lord is a great God, and a great king above all gods.
Psalms 97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boost themselves of idols, worship him, all ye gods.
Psalms 97:9 For thou, Lord, art high above the earth: thou art exalted far above all gods.
Psalms 136:2 Give thanks unto the God of gods: for his mercy endureth forever.
Psalms 138:1 I will praise the with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.
Zechariah 12:7 The Lord also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.
Zechariah 12:8 In that day shall the Lord defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the HOUSE OF DAVID shall be as God, as (the image of) the angel of the lord (that is) before them (the gods).
Hi Ron. Those are two good portions of Scripture you've given for us to consider (btw, I think you meant to write 1 Chronicles 21:1).
To answer your questions properly, we must first know that God is neither the Author of sin, nor the tempter of mankind to sin. James 1:13-15: "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death."
So, to your passages. Clearly in the second passage ( 1 Chronicles 21:1), Satan is said to have "provoked" David to sin by numbering Israel. Yet 2 Samuel 24:1 speaks of the LORD having provoked David. To make sense of this, we can also recall Exodus 7:13,14 (& others verses like it), where "God hardened Pharaoh's heart" refusing to let the Israelites leave Egypt. We can also look at Job 1:9-12, where God gave Satan permission over Job's family & possessions. In both Scriptures, God doesn't incite or cause one to do evil, but brings about a situation where He removes His absolute control. And we can say the same for ourselves: when confronted with a situation to sin, God can either prevent us from committing sin or allow us to determine what we will do with it - we have a mind (& the Holy Spirit, if we're believers), to choose our path.
When we bring those two passages together, we see that God "moved David". God did not force him to do wrong, but steered him in that direction of decision & allow his better judgement to not pursue such sin. Even Joab warned David about doing this & later David realized that he had done wrong, his heart was smitten & he repented (v10). With Job also, Job did nothing wrong, but God allowed Satan license to provoke Job to sin - but unlike David, Job did not. Satan is our enemy to entice us to sin - not God - God allows the tests - we have to choose rightly.
According to Exodus 7:7, Moses was 80 years of age at this time. Therefore, assuming that the ensuing plagues upon Egypt followed each other in quick succession & they left Rameses soon after, then their journey into the wilderness saw them go first to Succoth, then to Etham & onto Baal Zephon ( Exodus 14:1). So, I would say that Moses was a little over 80 years of age by a few months. It's interesting that Pharaoh only now chose to pursue them, believing them to be trapped at the Red Sea. Maybe, the death & destruction in Egypt under God's Hand took them quite a while to recover & gather themselves together to go after the children of Israel, as we read that once again God "hardened Pharoah's heart" ( Exodus 14:8), which made him foolishly pursue God's chosen.
Exo_12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.
The final plague that God brought upon Egypt was the plague of the first born. Except for those protected by the blood of the lamb, all the first born in Egypt died that night.
Hi Merlinda. Many have wondered why Pharaoh & the Egyptians were treated so harshly by God, when prior to sending out the various plagues we often read that God had hardened Pharaoh's heart.
We first see that Pharaoh was an evil man, a brutal dictator who also enslaved the Israelites with terrible abuse & oppression. As well, he believed that he was a god or at least, an intermediary to the pantheon of gods (even as the people considered the pharaohs) & there was none their equal. So Pharaoh could say, "Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go." ( Exodus 5:2). So Pharaoh's heart was already opposed & hardened towards the God Whom Moses & Aaron represented as we also see in some references: Exodus 7:22; 8:15,19,32; 9:7,34,35.
So when we read that it was God Who hardened the Pharaoh's heart ( Exodus 4:21; 7:3; etc.), we have to conclude that indeed God did affect Pharaoh's heart against Him, but his heart was already hard & stubborn & God simply ensured that his heart would remain so during the time of affliction & punishment. God could well have done this to remind Pharaoh who this God of Moses was, the mightier works that He can do than what Pharaoh's magicians could do & how grossly wicked Pharaoh's acts were against the Israelites that warranted such stern punishment. Yet, God was still merciful in sparing the Egyptians lives, in spite of their suffering & loss of human life.
What should have been a repentance & softening of Pharaoh's heart, remained hard & this hardness was then made harder by God proving His Power over the Egyptians & His Love for His people, Israel, to free them from tyranny. Romans 9:17: "For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth." cf Exodus 9:16.
Terry, may the Spirit grace with HIS wisdom and His Understanding.
Exodus 7:1 And the Lord said to Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh....
A god has power over whomever is subject unto that god. The Lord gave power to Moses over Pharaoh, therefore Pharaoh was helpless before Moses. The only way the one under the power of a god is for a God of greater power to intervene. This is the situation of mankind today, we are under the power of a god of this world. We can't overcome him because he has power over us. ENTER JESUS CHRIST the GOD of greater power WHO CAN OVERCOME.
Luke 11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and OVERCOME him, he (the greater God) taketh from him (the lesser god) all his (the lessor god) armour wherein he (the lessor god) TRUSTED, and divideth his spoils (we are the spoils, and he gives Melchisedec the tenth).
John 16:33 ......I have OVERCOME the world (the lessor god).
2 Peter 2 :19 .....for whom a man is OVERCOME, of the same is he brought in bondage.
Revelation 21:7 He that OVERCOMETH shall inherit all things; and I WILL BE YOU GOD, and he shall be my son.
In Genesis comments I would see you guys state JEHOVAH, but no where on Genesis did I see that name until now in Exodus. It is hard to express myself so I relate to Moses that I am no eloquent with words, but my friend told me Moses was a stutter. Now Moses is not intimidated by Pharoah and does as God commands without excuses anymore. Today I am able to express myself with his help.
People With Hardened Hearts Against the Gospel - In Reply on Isaiah 9:10 - 4 years ago
Ephesians 4:18 - Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Hebrews 3:8 - Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
Mark 8:17 - And when Jesus knew [it], he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Mishael : It takes Spiritual Warfare to free a person to hear Gods Word. See sermons on YouTube, about that. See Ephesians 6. Don't let the devil scare you. He knows Jesus stripped him of his authority to steal souls. Watch some Charles Capps videos too so you will understand your authority through the Blood of Jesus.
After all the plagues you would think he'd know Moses's God was doing it.
He was raised Egyptian and he only worshipped Egyptian gods. His gods couldn't bring his son back to life.
First thing God Created was Time. He set a clock in motion for people, animals, everything. God lives outside of time and inside of time.
He's the Alpha and the Omega: the beginning, and the end.
He doesn't chart our lives or our choices. He gave us a free will regarding choices.
As you can see with the plagues presented to Pharaoh; God was at work in Pharaohs will to help him change his mind. But he was greedy and wanted free labor forever.
God knew which way Pharaoh was going to choose.
He knows which way we're all going to choose. Look up reprobate. Some people just will not choose To seek God: no matter how many times God reaches out to them within their wills.
Satan is the bigshot I WILL in the world. That's his speech for everything.
So do we sometimes: I will do what I wanna do no matter who I hurt!! Ever heard that fly out of your mouth? I hope not.
God wants us to choose Jesus. It's out there. The good news. Question is... are we going to accept the free Gift of God?
I am sorry you do not believe what God has said in scripture in the citations I gave you.

God Bless YOU!
Does Jesus have a GOD?
Yes he does, he says so himself.
Is Jesus a God, Yes he says so himself,
In Jesus the Father; No, he says so himself.
God Bless You.
Part 2 continued
Thank you for your thoughts.
I believe the Bible, every word.
You said,
"In reference to any temptation or provoking remember James 1:13
God can't be
Tempted neither tempts he any man."
I believe James 1:13.
I also believe my Lord when He taught us how to pray saying to our Heavenly Father,
And lead us not into temptation ( Luke 11:4) ( Matthew 6:13)
And when God told Moses He would harden Pharaoh's heart that Pharaoh would not let the children of Israel go( Exodus 10:27)
And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said. ( Exodus 7:13)
The Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart until the destroying angel came and killed all the first born of Egypt.
And the Lord did so to shew his power by Pharaoh. ( Romans 9:17)
Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth. ( Romans 9:18)
Henry, why would our Lord tell us to pray to our Heavenly Father saying,
...and lead us not into temptation?
Why would the God of Isreal harden Pharaoh's heart until He destroyed all the first born of Egypt?
If the Lord does not tempt us, how did He harden Pharaoh's heart?
Do you see the contradictions?
Nevertheless, God will have mercy on whom he will have mercy and, whom he will he hardeneth.
God Bless You!
The final plague that God brought upon Egypt was the plague of the first born. Except for those protected by the blood of the lamb, all the first born in Egypt died that night.
I hope this answers your question.
God bless

Have you?
