Paul said that day would not come on the believers unexpectedly, but the world. HE was talking about the day of GOD'S wrath the book of revelation. As believer were going to know. It's revealed in HOSES 6:2 and 2 PETER 3:8

Gods definition of righteousness and mans definition of righteousness is very different. All men CARRY THE STAIN AND SPOT OF ADAM. Obbie; I don't agree with just saying that "We ALL" are doing, or have done so wickedly! I think it isn't really right to just say "Everybody" has done this or that, and is automatically wicked. The Scriptures don't teach that AT ALL! There are righteous and wicked, those with good and honest hearts with faith in Jesus Christ; and those who determine to be completely His enemies. Here is patience!

In the year 2017, all the sins mention in this chapter has become socially accepted by the USA, therefore the same GOD shall bring the same judjement (if not greater) on USA because like dirty lanundry the USA is ready for washing. The judgemnt can start any miniute of any hour of the day... WOW, WOW, WOW!

"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none." Reading carefully through every line of this Word we should be sickened and tremble at the fact that we have been guilty of all these things and have not obeyed to walk worthy of the great mercy extended to us; and our time is at the door!

Jehovah God expressed his wrath against those who were misusing their power, committing fraud, taking advantage of widows and orphans, murdering, and engaging in various form of sexual depravity. These ones were destroyed and we can be assured that Jehovah feels the same disgust today when he sees those who commit these acts and he will execute his judgment upon them.

God reveals over people because he finds none of them to show compassion for the wandering or lost because of sins.

God is seeking for righteous people who will intervene on the behalf of the people left of this land which are sinners. God will judge those who profess to be of Christ which are not. God wants people whose heart is after him and his word.It is now time to forsake our own wicked ways, whether we are priest, prophets or preachers! God is a merciful God and he has no pleasure in destroying his own people. He came to save us and he called and died for all our sins if we would only repent of our unrighteousness. He loves us!

Praise GOD before Christ came nobody could stand in the gap, but after the death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST, the barrier was broken by HIS blood, now as many as will make themselves available to be GOD 'S mouth or legs or hands HE will use to deliver others

It beats my imagination how with so many preachers and ministers,the burden for souls in the heart of God have not yet been lifted.why are there no men who would stand in the gap when there are men here and there?it is because though men are present every where,they are not available for God to use them.

Ezekiel 22 30 the reason why God is not getting any man to stand in the gap its because Gods people are so much busy doing their things their minds and their ears are fully occupied with Worldly things, they cant hear and know when GOD is speaking.

God is looking for a man who would avail his herself.No matters the person low level of education,background,weaknesses.What matter is the person availability.So let 's avail ourselves,so that we could b use by him.

As the wicked hoped for the righteous to were them out to utterly put an end of them who love the Lord: Them of the faith and of the Spirit shall endure while the wicked wax old and are then cast into the fire as a worthless minstrel rag.

Ezekiel 22:20 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

Before this verse was Gods reaction towards Israel's leaders,who lack an iota of truth in whatever they did or said. Consequently, God ws looking for that man,that leader like Moses, who will rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land.

Right. Jesus was the man, and he lives forever through his disciples. As before, God is looking for a man with the Spirit of Jesus to stand in the gap and interceede for the likes of the same conditions in his or her proximity.

This chapter, most specifically from verse 23 to end is the reason that Jesus recieves and takes upon himself the Title SON OF MAN. We must lift up the son of man so all know Jesus is he.( John-8-).

GOD looked for a man among them. Likely through HIS eyes into eternity and found none. Jesus the SON of God and Man was the only one able to stand in the gap before GOD. This a profound verse.
