I've done some research and found out that:

The name of Peter's father was (Eng) Jona or Jonah, (Hbr) Yona or Yonah, (Gk) Ionas. It means "dove, pigeon". It is the same name as Prophet Jona in the Old Testament.

Apostole John's name in Gk is Ioannes, in Hbr Yohanan. It means God is gracious or God's grace or God's gift. I was alwayd wondering why I never found that name in the Old Testament, did it appear for the first time in Jesus' times? Visiting a Jewish website I found

out that it appears many times in the Old testament but in the Hebrew form of it i.e. Ezra 8:12. , 2 Kings 25:23, 1 Cronicles 6:9 etc . (Eng) Johanan (Hbr) Yohanan.

ezra was man who love the lord and being a priest aND a SCRIBE had the duties to teach those isarelites GOd "s will, that is to rebuild the temple starting with the foundation as we must do these days in order that our youth must learn these days.

Fasting is also needed today to empty ourselves of all bitterness and guile and using our body as the temple of God. We therefore can invite him in our hearts where he can dwell when we ask him to create in us a clean heart.

Ezra was so faithful that 's my heart 's desire he didn 't turn to the arm of the flesh but he turned to God and God answered his prayer thank God for faifh that moves mountains!

Ezra 8 31 is simply the answer to prayer. They fasted and asked God for protection on the journey they were about to embark on just because their enemies on the way and God heard.

It was wonderful when the people came together in unity and completed the temple of Almighty God merciful Father of righteousness.

Ezra is very much committed.

13. Not just us, but you! When you except it and know it. It is an invite. When you receive the blessings of others. 14. Christ Jesus is Anointed/God`s Saviour. Yup! Super preachers and they will take your family members to death who is the son of perdition who is death. But they know the truth and don't want to go. We find antichrist an abomination. So for 2 and a half months while satan is here there is no buying or selling and we don't bow down to no fake god we wait for our True King and husband Our LORD Christ Jesus.

I'm having a hard time getting through Ezra but the triva question at the help me to stay focused. I did enjoy the commentary after this chapter.
