Words can not express the gratitude I have for my LORD and savior . I was so lost and always knew he was there but it wasn't until the last four years in my darkest times , I poured my heart and soul out to him . He literally saved my life . No one in this world could understand the emotions I was going through or help me except Christ . To this day I give thanks for everything in my life he has blessed me with and more . Every single day I do the same and pray for others hoping they will feel the same salvation . GOD is good!

If your remark is of a general nature & not tied to a thread here, then please remember we are Christians, ordinary people, who love the Lord Jesus and give testimony to His Love and Saving Grace. Not everyone can be articulate or well-informed, as maybe you are, but the Scripture has declared, "But God chose the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty" ( 1Cor 1:26,27). We might be simple, misguided people in the eyes of the world, but content to be precious in God's Eyes as we endeavour to live for Him & speak of His Goodness in whatever way we can.

People can also get audio of the KJV for free, for example on this website. Someone can load it on their smart phone and just play the audio of any chapter they want to hear.

I suggest the King James Bible on CD with Alexander Scourby as the narrator as he has a great voice. It can be had for the new testament only for about 25 dollars delivered. Pay attention to who is being persecuted for Christ and by whom are doing the persecution. It will likely be the same as it was in the days of Christ. Persecution is coming people and has been in the works for a long time. 10 of the 12 apostles died for their faith. Paul died for his faith and stephen did also.
Jesus died for you, would you die for him?

Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, ...

Everyone please turn off the TV and read or listen to the Bible. One can buy the KJV new testament on CD for about 25 dollars us delivered. Listen to it while working or driving. James 1 says if any of you lack understand let him ask of God.
Seriously ask the Lord to reveal things to you and dig. Hit the thrift stores and buy some bibles as some day they shall likely be illegal. There are places now where the new testament is considered hate speech. The Lord is not happy with Europe and the USA and judgment is coming. Persecution is promised to those who follow Christ in 2 Timothy 3:12
Persecution shall separate the sheep from the goats and shall bring revival to the true remnant of Christ

I apologize. I just wish we could join hands and kick corona virus in the teeth with our faith. On Passover the Jews put lambs blood over the door so death (corona virus) would pass over the house. Jesus gives us power to stand against the enemies that would end us. Feed your faith, beloveds.

Before I was rescued to salvation, I studied stars, planets, sun, moon: trying to explain why things were as they were. Trying to project into future.
You are tuned into MEDIA news, Facebook, Twitter geniuses,Pharisees and politicians.
JESUS said I am the way, the TRUTH and the LIFE. Listen to Him!!! You're being led away.. Either you are in Jesus or not. Stop starving your spirit to death. You may be in the process of FALLING AWAY. He didn't promise us smooth sailing. We are hid in him. Slap on the jumper cables and restart your hearts. Walk up to the Goliath of your souls & launch the rock that explodes his brain. Feed on the Word. Bulk up! Turn off pathetic news. Jesus is the King!

  • Alex on Galatians 6 - 6 years ago
That promise to abraham about multiplication resulted in the nation of israel. but natural israel were not the children of promise, god found fault with israel, there was none righteous no not one.god had another israel in mind that wd come outta of his own body christ jesus the very seed of god the living word of god that wd initiate a birth of christ in us, the son of man which is the h.g. that has to born in us via his seed .thats y he is saying that which is born of the spirit ( his word ) is spirit thats th h.g th israel of god that promise child, the h.g comes out of christ loins his seed his word etc. now we see an israel of god a holy nation a kingdom ppl born in humanity via hs word.

As far as burden carrying: there is an escape to burdens. Jesus said to cast those upon Him.
Read these following scriptures. It's going to help you. Did you know worry is sin? Run to 1 John chapter 1 verses 8-9; 2:1

Here's the burden scriptures: Matthew 11:28-29. Psalms 62:8. Philippians 4:6 and Galatians 6:5

I found this to be true that when we are in extreme crushed mode, it's time to fast and pray. Fast from fun and feed on the Word of God. It's more painful than you think. Turn off all media. Emergency calls only. Read the New Testament. Get a pencil and mark some verses that give you peace. Repent as needed. In Church they say fast from food, Feed on the Word of God.

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

Matthew 26:41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

Whether we believe it or not, we are all writing the history of the lives we are living on this side earth in the "Chronicles" of God and we are going to give an account of that history before God one day in the day of judgment. After the account come rewards accordingly as stewards of God. Furthermore, compare this fact with Matthew 12:36,2Corinthians5:10, Galatians 6:7, Revelation 22:11-12.

They say Laugh and the World Laughs with you, Cry and you Cry alone but Jesus tells us the Opposite. He Cares and Understands. He was known as a Man of Sorrows and acquainted with Grief and He cried too. Like His Father He Loved everyone but knew those who would be lost. What does God tell us to do when others are hurting- Romans12:15 - Galatians 6:2 - 1Peter 3:8 -5 - Ephesians 4:32 - Ecc 3:1-8.

Galatians 6:10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
  • Dorrett - In Reply on Galatians 6 - 6 years ago
Apparent seeming real or true but not so... is correct. The Bible is not indicating that we lay down all our weight and burden and wait for another to lift them up. we all take our issues tan burdens to God and we help each others to carry their load. its a team effort that is depicted here. A picture of helping each other.

If a person is despondent it is sometimes caused by idleness not keeping busy with others one of the best ways to overcome is prayer and helping others..When we help and do good for others we take our minds off ourselves. Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

If we are Christ's, then we are Abraham's seed and heirs according to the promise -3:29. In Christ, we are a new creature -6:15. We are the Israel of God -6:16. According to Paul, all those of faith in the Father and in the Son are Israel.

There is no contradiction. Verse 2 discusses how as Christians we must help bear others burdens when they fall. Verse 5 describes all men bear their own burdens as well. The one who fell in verse 2 is still bearing his own burdens, just needs help. The chapter is telling Christians that if you think you're a good person prove it and find reward in your own heart for doing well, not from others
  • Eutychus on Galatians 6 - 8 years ago
Ask your class to read this chapter with you, aloud. Then ask them if they noted an apparent (!) contradiction in the text? They won't see it, or take note of it. You won't either, unless you read below...

But look at verses 2 and 5. This is startling evidence that it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal to us, the words we read in the Bible, the WORD of God. We read it, but too often don't see it.
  • Yalonda Dunnagan on Galatians 6 - 8 years ago
It means just what it says. Just because your a Christian does not mean you can purposely sin and not be held accountable. Too many believers today claim because they accepted Christ or believe in Him, they are excused of any and all sin. Bare in mind that Galatians was written after the cross and it is because of Calvary that we are not to sin, and if or when we do we must ask forgiveness... out life must change, we do not walk in our old ways when we receive Jesus, we clean our act up and walk in newness of life.
