In Daniel 12:4 we are told knowledge will be increased. As Christians we need to be open to knowledge and embrace truth that literally fit's the word of God.Let us stand fast in truth. If the earth is 6 Billion years old on day three so be it.I will later discuss the timing of things that our Lord gives us.But moving into the setting of the Sun and Moon in place has more significance than giving

THANK YOU FOR THE VERSE OF THE DAY.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:11. Verse 6 -13 reveals us the world created in time. There is life on this earth and there is no sun nor moon. As science explains this is possible with out black matter. For the stars produce enough light to exist. ESPECIALLY IF THE EARTH WAS IN A STATE OF COOLING.Geology tells us that this planet renews itself every 3.8 Billion years. Man up.

OUR HOPE is we become the sons of God 1 John 3. We do this by being born again. JOHN 3. THE WORD AGAIN MEANS: from above (upper heaven) from the first, from the beginning. This ties us directly to the first creation. We are locked in time in this body but time will eventually be no more .The way it was in the beginning. REV. 10. THIS King James Bible is not the book John ate. This word is for all.

I left off with Gen.1:2 this is where the World without end was destroyed. It is where originally our Savior was slain. Rev 13.Satan is a murderer from the beginning. JOHN 8. Please excuse the capital letters I am writing from my cell phone and it has a mind of its own. The word of God is absolute to me. TI me begins in verse three of Genesis. It is the beginning of the works of old.
  • Lorin on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
In the beginning the heaven and earth were of everlasting. There is no time in this heaven and earth.. You are correct in that this world became void wit out form. Isaiah 45. Proverbs 22 tells us that Wisdom was possessed by the Lord in the beginning in the beginning before the works of old. (Time and things growing old are the works of old entropy ) She (wisdom) was set up from everlasting fro

Ephesians 1 speaks of Saint or the set aside ones or the elect that have be chosen from before the foundation of the world. Before, same as God knew Jeremiah before he was in his mothers womb like Jacob and Esau God had to know them, walked with them to be able to say Jacob I loved, Esau I hated. If you go to John 1 where it say born again it's 509 born from above. We where with God an sent here.

Have you read Isaiah 45:18 how God in the beginning created the earth beautiful. He created with wisdom in Proverbs 8:22 - 30 also in Genesis 1:2 check out the word "was" and it's became without form and if you read Jeremiah 4:22 you will read of a great flood with no Noah and family and in 27 earth was desolate but not to a full end. 2 Peter 3:5 - 7 speaks of the earth age before.

The heavenly angels were already in existence and most importantly Jesus and The Holy Spirit! There is but one God! No matter His name ,He is three but yet one and the same. What great power!!
  • Bruce on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Blessed:Sylvia: I don't see in her post that she said anything about three gods. Most know there's only one God. God:Elohiym is the name of God, it is plural, pronounced El-o-heem. What she said is pretty much right. God said let Us make man in Our image after Our likeness. Genesis 1:26. God all through the Scriptures is plural.
  • Blessed on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Sylvia- bible only speaks of 1 God not 3 Gods.
Isaiah45:22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. God the Father became flesh.1 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
  • Bruce on 1 Corinthians 11 - 7 years ago
Irene: Genesis 1:1 in the beginning Elohiym created the heaven and the earth/ in the beginning God,in Hebrew that is Elohiym the plural of God, in the beginning ------- created The Heaven and Earth. V:26 let "us"make man in "our" image after "our" likeness:---. (el-o-heem)

And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:21Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.22For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things( Acts 3)

This ONE true GOD exists as three persons: GOD the FATHER ( Acts 4:4); GOD the SON ( John 1-1:3); GOD the HOLY SPIRIT ( Ps 104:30)
God exists in three persons who are equal in their attributes and yet individual and distinct in their offices and ministries. Matt 3:16-17; Eph 1:3-14; 2Thess 2:13-14; Titus 3:4-6

  • Jeff Berry on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Genesis Chapter 1 and 2 are not 2 separate creation accounts. Genesis 1 is a summary and 2 goes into greater detail.
  • Irene123 on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Some read Gen. 1:2 as - there was a 'first' earth - and it was destroyed, then God created a 2nd earth on which we live. No one 'knows' if God created more than one earth. Maybe He did, BUT - the Bible does NOT say such - so we should not speculate, as such speculation has NOTHING to do with OUR salvation.
  • Irene123 on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
MLH - You're missing an awful lot of love 'n beauty. Yes. God created this world, the whole of the universe, by His spoken word. But, when it came to His 'pinnacle' creation - He got His 'hands' into the dust and lovingly created man - because He loved man; man was to be a friend to God, they were to commune together, have fellowship. I'm praying for you to see the bigger picture - of His love for
  • M.L.H. on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
We have been taught that GOD "spoke" everything into existence. The Scriptures do not support this. Genesis teaches that HE "created", "moved", "said", "saw" "divided", called:, "made", "set"

Hello the way I understand it is in the scripture in the beginning was the word the Word was God the word was with God' and in the Book of John he points out that Jesus is the word so the Lord Jesus what's with the father from the beginning
  • Irene123 on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
    B. Matute - Hi, Brian; hope this finds you well. Since Jesus was with God, separately, yet one with Him - why doesn't God's word record any 'conversation' between father 'n son about creation of man ..... ? Surely Jesus said at least 'yes' or 'no' ..... ? As equals He would have had some input ..... ? Nowhere do I see 'Jesus' responding to - anything ..... ?
  • Irene123 on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
"In the beginning - God ..... "; Before God instituted day and night - there was no 'time'; no 'million yrs.' before He created anything; there was NO time.
  • Bruce on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Jean: in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. It says nothing about time, when did time start? A Million years could have passed before the clock started. It's not really that important only where you spend eternity. Adding to His Word is very dangerous and habit-forming.Do not add or take away:Revelation22:18-19 / Revelation 1:5 / Revelation20:15.
  • Word on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
Brian Read on 2 Peter 3 the world that was perished but we know from the destruction in Jeremiah 4 that it was not to a full end and if you check scriptures out you'll see it, the first earth age turn to wilderness. Those people the God was speaking to were,US.
  • Brian Matute on Genesis 1 - 7 years ago
READ THE BIBLE, I just want to say that Jesus did not came out of God. He (Jesus) was always there with God. Genesis 1:26- And God said, Let us make man in OUR image... Who is God talking to. Not the angels because if that was so we would have wings. God is talking to the Son and the spirit. Yes the holy spirit was always there too. The spirit was not created either. It was always there.
