Rhonda S. Truth is CHRIST is the Image of God and He is speaking to every soul created and they are His children. If you dig deep you will see and understand why God can say I knew Jeremiah before he was on earth and how God says I loved Jacob but hated Esau.. Because God knew us from before.

God is all , and made all things for his Glory he said; I am Alpha and Omega, there none after Him .The only wise God Amen.

The world was created in six literal days by the Godhead and it was perfect. The heavenly beings glorified God in the labour that He did. All but man was spoken into existance. I stand in awe of such an amazing, powerful being.

God said Let us make man in our image because the word God in Hebrew is Elohim and that means Gods or God plural in other words God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit were present and a part of creation.

I want to understand why god says, 'we' created man in 'our' own image.

to Minister Smith, if we show no compassion to the creatures we hold in stewardship, for this planet and all on it belong to he who made it, how can we hope for compassion when we in turn seek it from our LORD?

Recently while preparing a sermon it dawned on m that God created everything and stated that is was good. So if we believe in God and that is the creator of everything including us; why then do we so-called Christians get caught up in saving what God created? Every creature that is no longer with us is because God decided to eliminate it; there is nothing man can do to destroy what God created.

There is only one account of the creation of man God created man and woman on the sixth day in Genisis chapter one in Genisis chapter two God goes into detail on how he did it sorta like Paul Harvey's the rest of the story

Adam was the first man created and spoken of in Chapter 1 and 2.

Males and Females were created in verse 27 and given instructions in verses 28, 29, and 30......then in chapter 2 Adam is created...does not make sense unless there are two creations of Man...were the first creations Cavemen and Women??

Henry as you read in vs 26 of chapter 1 and on that God created men who hunt and fish and God supplied the Earth with the 6th day man made of flesh from dirt. That is also where Cain took his wife from was 6th day creation. All races inhabited the Earth on the 6th day and then God started the garden with Adam a farmer and from Adam's curve meaning DNA God created Eve.

Gen 2:7 simply gives details about the forming, making of man in the image ( similitude) of God.

In this Bible reality "And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:", the Bible tells us that God made Adam in His image. In Chp. 2:7, it tells how God made Adam in His image (He formed him) and what materials He used ( from the dust of the ground).

the word WAS 1961 is became without form and void so something happened and we read in Jeremiah 4 vs about 20 to 27 the destruction and also we read of Satan and how he stole a third of Gods stars or children in Rev 12 vs 4 and we know that the wicked one sows his tares his children when reading Matt 13 vs 36 to 44. Anyway these 7000 years of Genesis chapter 1 are rejuvenation and we were replenished to earth.

In Genesis chapter 1v26, if man was made in God image in this chapter, why was there a need to formed Adam in chapter 2v7 ?

This is more so a question than a comment. Who were these first human made in our God images, and why was it necessary to creative Adam and Eve ?

Once you consume the little Book you see that the Earth was form beautiful and created to be inhabited Isaiah 45 vs18. God created Earth with wisdom and the Sons of God shouted with joy written in Proverbs 8 vs 22 to 31 as also in Job 38 vs 7 the sons of God and His stars rejoiced, that being you and me. Born again is Strong's 509 and it is saying in John 3 we were all born from above and replenished the Earth for the second time. That is why God knew Jeremiah also loved Jacob and hated Esau because God knew them from befor.

In Genesis God makes it very clear that he has given us all the tools on earth for us to be successful. Every thing we need is here. From fruits to herbs of the earth. He has also created all living things from the dust of the earth man being given the gift of a higher being. The power of God a reflected in his creation of all things earth, sky and every living thing.

To me I believe the bible is here to show us the way to live with each ethers and if we follow it life would be better in this world
