Clearly the water is physical birth. That which is flesh is flesh. Flesh is physical and it is associated with water. We say, her water broke. Spirit is obviously the new birth. ROFL Arthur, that light came from what everything else came from, i.e. God! I am curious about the "fowl ". Verse 20: "And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. " I had always thought the fowl that fly in the sky came from the earth however, it appears they came from the water.
