Hello George Hartwell I conjunction to my 3 part answer that I gave you which I hope comes out, the Bible states in John 17 17 Sanctify them through thy truth thy word is truth. If you believe one part of the Bible is written in truth, then you must believe the entire Bible is written in truth.

Part 3 of 3 Also there is another very important lesson here with re accounting the creation with the animals. The fact that God distinctly let it be written by Moses in the same Chapter to show that man was created with a soul and the animals were not. 2 Timothy 3 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness Out of the mouth of two are three a witness is established. In regard to animals not having any souls, when God had them get on the Ark with the animals, God let it also be written that there were only 8 souls on that Ark therefore the animals were not counted as having souls. 1 Peter 3 20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water.

Part 2 of 3 Moses restated not only about the animals, but the herbs and some other things. The reason why he restated what happened about the animals because he wanted the reader to know that God brought those same animals that he had created unto Adam to name. Have you ever read a good book or seen a good movie, well the author always brings the reader up to speed about the events that happened in some point or another in the story? Even a good miniseries at the beginning of each day the miniseries airs it gives a re account of the previous day events. This is what happened with Moses. The Bible is the truth.

Part 1 of 3 Hello George Hartwell There are not two different accounts. In Chapter One this is the actual account of the creation. In Chapter Two this is restating or a recount of what happened in Chapter One. If you read the first four verses of Chapter Two especially Verse 4 you will find that after God rested then the author, which was Moses, began to re account the previous activities by starting off the sentence with These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens, . Not only did Moses restate the facts that happened in Chapter one, but he added what happened on the seventh day as well, God made man.

it is interesting and amazing how God made things to come into being and it is definitely true no doubts that is how our God works with wonders and miracles.

Hello Evangelist Chatauna Robinson. I can see in Genesis Chapter 1 verses 24 26, God made animals before humans. I can see in Genesis Chapter 2 verses 7 19, God made humans before animals. Why is it that, in Genesis, there are two accounts of the Creation? Why do they contradict each other? Only one can be right which one? I have noticed that there are two accounts of the flood as well. If the bible is inspired by God, why did he do this? I think that there must be a hidden meaning in the existence of multiple accounts of the same event but with contradictory details but I cannot think what this meaning could be. What do you think?

Hello Ishmael Jessop 1 John 5 7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one . Notice the very last part of this scripture it states that all three are one being. There is no three separate beings in which to worship. All three are one. In Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily . It does not say that Jesus Christ is a being in the Godhead. This is stating that within Jesus Christ being is the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
  • BarbaraA.Campbell on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
I Love it,Because I do not doubt its true.
  • Ishmael Jessop on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
there is one God and one meditor between God and man , the man christ Jesus.According to Mark 13 32 but of that day and that hour knoweth no man . no .not the Angels which are in heaven ,neither the son,but father. who is The INVISIBLE God

Part 4 of 5 In the book of Revelation, where it is broken up in past, present, and future, you will find where this same Jesus Christ who knows all tells how he is not going to accept some of those so called Christians, Revelation Chapters 1, 2, and 3. There is a difference in people who call themselves Christians. Unless you have taken on the name of Jesus Christ through Acts 2 38 you are not considered a true Christian according to the Bible.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 3 of 5 If you do not have the spirit of Jesus Christ on the inside of you, then you are none of his. Romans 8 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his . The only way that you can have the spirit of God in you is that you have followed Acts 2 38 and God has given you the Holy Ghost. Some people who claim to be a Christian do not have either the Holy Ghost or Acts 2 38. In Luke it stated that there will be many who will call Lord, Lord open up to us and he will turn them away, Luke 13 23 thru 30.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 2 of 5 Now some scholars say that when the people called them Christians they were mocking them. They were not mocking them. When you read the story it paints a different picture. The scripture did not say that the people of Antioch were mocking them by calling them Christians. The people saw attributes in these men that were running a revival in the city. They saw that Barnabas and Saul were acting and teaching like Jesus Christ. So therefore, they called them Christians. There was a great many of them believed, and turned unto the Lord, Acts 11 19 thru 25.

This is the third time I will be submitting this post. Part 1 of 5 Hello Neil Dunn Melrose I understand the comment that you have made. However, I must disagree. All the people who call themselves Christians are not equal in God s eyes. In our society and from many years ago people use the word Christian as some type of fade. They say Christian, but then do not live a Christian life. Everyone that calls themselves Christian is not equal in God s eyes. The word Christian originated in Antioch first, Acts 11 26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch The word Christian means to be Christ like.

Hello Neil Dunn Melrose I responded to your comment twice on two separate days. However, my post have not come out yet. I do not understand why, because what I stated was the truth. In addition to my 5 part comment, there is a difference in Christians depending on their faith base. Under this Grace Age or Dispensation of Grace, you have to be born again to be a true Christian in God 's army. You have to follow Acts 2 38.
  • Neil Dunn Melrose on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
The commentary I find to be good. To me Genesis is self explanatory. I like the fact that if you truly believe the Gospel that the Holy Spirit will guide you. That all Christians are equal in the eyes of God. None over another.

There is another scripture that states that all three are one 1 John 5 7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one ". There is no three Gods to worship. There is just one being who holds all three offices.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
One more thing Russel2709, John 10 30 "I and my Father are one ". Jesus is letting you know out of his own mouth they are one in the same being.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 4 of 4 Now you can deduce whatever you want, but this is how I see it. No matter how people may try to say that there are three gods there is only one. John stated it in Chapter 1 of the book of St. John. Timothy witnessed this with his statement in, 1 Timothy 3 16. Then you have Ephesians 4 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism. There is just one being people, no matter how you may feel or have been informed wrong all of these years there is only One God. His name is Jesus Christ. He is God manifested in the flesh. You cannot get around this. There are three offices or titles or entities that dwell only in one body. The scripture does not say that there are three in the godhead bodily. It says that in Jesus Christ the fullness of the godhead bodily dwells, Colossians 2 9 For in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily .
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 3 of 4 The other interpretation is that God, if I can say it like this he was like a teacher in front of a room full of students. When I was in school my professor would say to the class let us began. However, he would be doing all the talking. Some professors create things by showing students how to do it. The students would look on in awe. Think about it God was not in Heaven alone there are angels and other creatures that were there, Revelation 4 8. So when God made the statement Let us make man he was the teacher that was doing the project while the students were looking on. He did not ask them for permission. He did not need their help to make man. He was merely making a statement about what he was going to do next.

Part 2 of 4 The Ego is the component of personality that is responsible for dealing with reality. God saw the reality that there was no man to till the ground. Genesis 2 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew for the LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground . The Superego is provides guidelines for making judgments. God did in the Garden of Eden after Adam sinned.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 1 of 4 Hello Russel2079 There are two different interpretations that a person can deduce. 1 God was counseling within himself. God has given man a free will and personality. God having made man in his own image has these same qualities. There are three parts of the personality. The Id, Ego, and Superego, all three personalities belong to one being. The Id is driven by the pleasure principle, which strives for immediate gratification of all desires, wants, and needs. God had a desire, want, and a need to make man and woman.
  • Russel2709 on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Genesis Chapter 1 verse 26 is what my question is about. It states "Let US make man in our image, after OUR likeness ". Who is this "us " and "our "?

Freddy Ramothlaka Also I would like to clarify that nobody cannot understand the Word of God without Jesus. It does not matter how old or young you are. If he wants to reveal something to anyone he can. So whether you are filled with the Holy Ghost or whether or not a Holy Ghost filled man or woman of God is teaching you God can open up your understanding. My thought comes from the encounter that the Eunuch experienced with the man of God Philip. Philip asked the Eunuch did he understand what he was reading. The eunuch replied, How can I, except some man should guide me? It is so important that you sit up under a true man or woman of God for teaching that God had this example put in the Bible. He sent Philip to meet this man s chariot. Jesus is somebody. God can open up your understanding anytime he wants.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Hello Freddy Ramothlaka You are very correct when you say that we cannot understand without the Holy Spirit which is the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues as the spirit gives utterance. You have to have Acts 2 38 in order to be saved.
  • Freddy Ramothlaka on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
In the begining god made everything by word, and the word was with him, when you read john the baptist repeat tha same verse but adding jesus.god made everything with a purpose that 's why everything have got starts and to the end.we new generation we can 't understand without accepting holly spirit.

Hello Word, In addition to the 2 part response I made, If I am not mistaken you yourself started the conversation on 10 10 14 at 9 10 pm, about consuming fire, 100 pounds hail stones flattening Jerusalem, caught with child that give them suck, etc. None of these have to do with Genesis Chapter 1, especially when he is talking about the creation. I was merely making corrections and quoting actual scriptures and their meaning.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 1 - 10 years ago
Part 2 of 2 I do not understand the correlation between what you told me to read in Ezekiel and my talking about the Rapture. Everything I have stated I have backed it up with scripture. It is not my word but the Word of the Living God. His name is Jesus Christ. I did not make up the rapture. It was writing many years before I was born. The scriptures do not lie. The true saints of God will not go through the tribulation. See the movies and other preachers teach that we will go through the rapture this is simply not true. If people are here when the rapture takes place then they will have to make a decision about their life, their children s lives and other family members that they may have jurisdiction over. A person during this time will either have to take the mark of the beast, which is the 666 or get their head chopped off. The people left here during that time will not be able to buy, sell or anything without having the mark of the beast, 666. Revelation 13 7 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name . Not only will this happen, but there will be no hiding place for people to go if they do not want the mark this is another lesson .

Part 1 of 2 Hello Word How are you? So you asked me to read Ezekiel 13. These passages of scriptures are talking about false prophets and prophetesses. So are you calling me a lie or the Word of God a lie? If you are trying to say that I am a prophetess, then this is your first mistake. I am an Evangelist and a teacher of the Word of God. A prophet is another office within the gifts that God gave for the perfecting of the saints and the work of the ministry and the edifying of the body of Christ. Ephesians 4 11 And he gave some, apostles and some, prophets and some, evangelists and some, pastors and teachers

Part 3 of 3 Now for those who have been raptured out and for those who have gotten their head chopped off for the name of Jesus Christ and Christianity they will not go through this wrath. 1 Thessalonians 5 9 10 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him . This is why it is so important to follow Acts 2 38.
