Then when the Pastor says verse type in Book, like James 1:5, You type James in top right search bar, then search.
Hopefully this is helpful
Here in Jeremiah 4:23-26, we read the words, "I beheld". And this tells us that Jeremiah was given a vision of impending disaster so it was Jeremiah himself that made these utterances. A disaster so great, that it would be likened to the state of the Earth before God made it habitable for living creatures ( Genesis 1:2). And then the LORD speaks in verse 27, "For thus hath the LORD said (speaking of the coming judgement), The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end." Even though the Earth (the land that Judah inhabited) will be destitute of vitality, of light, & of living creatures, God would not annihilate it altogether. For one day in the future, Judah would return to their land.
Find a King James Bible, hopefully with Red letters in the New Testament. They are not expensive.
If we're fixing a huge project on our homes, we might stop and watch some videos or Google it. Some people even have DO-IT-YOURSELF Handbooks.
You need to get a Bible and read 3 chapters a day. Pray over what you read. Ask Jesus when you have questions, or come back here. :D
John 3, tells us how to be born again and receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. Jesus chooses US. He desires for us to discover the the God of this Bible. He is the definition of LOVE. Agape Love.
He is your ABBA. That means your Daddy. You can approach Him with all your joys, fears, hopes and dreams of the future; and the crushing failures. We all do it. He picks us back up and loves us to wellness again.
We walk away sometimes because of things we think will separate us from Him (sins). That's Why God gave Jesus to the world! He became our sin, so we could walk forward in His Righteousness, instead of our puny attempts at it.
It's a whole new family, and the Bible tells us we are loved; accepted in the Beloved; part of the Family of God.
We are his heirs. Ask for what you need, and then receive it. Matthew 4-5
The Bible has 2 Testaments in it. Both were ratified in blood. The testator had to die for the Testament to be in force. Jesus gave all he had to be our Savior and Lord. He knows us inside and outside. He took all our sins and nailed them to his cross. He asks us to Come and believe on Him.
He doesn't toss us out in the lake without teaching us to swim first :) We all came to Him the same way (real needy)
There is a full Bible on this website__with Commentary; a link to "how to become a believer". Also other people have told their 'Testimonies' of how they came to Jesus.
Check it out.
We are a family in this room. All different. Some soft, and some animated. I love you all.
a. the Spirit's Deity.
Proven by His Names (Equality: 1 Corinthians 6:11; Doing the Work of God: Romans 8:15; John 14:16).
Proven by His Characteristics (All-knowing: 1 Corinthians 2:10,11; Everywhere: Psalm 139:7; All-powerful: Genesis 1:2; Truth: 1 John 5:6; Holiness: Luke 11:13; Life: Romans 8:2; Wisdom: Isaiah 40:13).
Proven by His Works (In creation: Genesis 1:2; Inspiration: 2 Peter 1:21; Begetting Christ: Luke 1:35; Convincing men: John 16:8; Regenerating: John 3:5,6; Comforting: John 14:16; Interceding: Romans 8:26,27; Sanctifying: 2 Thessalonians 2:13).
Proven by His equality with the Father & Son ( Acts 5:3,4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
b. the Spirit's Procession.
Proceeded from the Father ( John 15:26).
Proceeded from the Son ( Galatians 4:6; Romans 8:9; John 16:7).
So, I hope you can see that the Holy Spirit, whether spoken of God or of Jesus, is the same Spirit, for He is one with the Father & the Son. Then when we come to 1 Corinthians 12:13, "For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit", again the one & same Holy Spirit is seen here, but we now see His special work where His coming into our lives, affects our spirits and baptizes us (brings us into union) with the whole family of God (into one Body, i.e. of Christ).

Hopefully these are helpful in deeper understanding, you can also pray for wisdom, James 1:5,
There is no man/woman single being hermaphrodite in Scripture. They are completely seperate. In creation, purpose, goals/reason for existence.
I believe you are confused because the Genesis account jumps from a general description of Gods creation of everything including "mankind" ( both man, Adam, and eve, woman, to the specifics of their seperate creation, and the fall.
Are asking about being on this particular site? it is a Bible forum. Are you asking something else besides that?
He made us in His mind at the foundation of the earth. Psalms 139:13-17
He has created all life forms as well. Genesis 1:28-31 see v.30
All powers are subject to Him, even there He is Lord! Ephesians 6:1
God bless u and yours in Jesus name, love u in Christ.
Man, not man and women, was created first. Woman was created from the man, for the man.

23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:
26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
29 For our God is a consuming fire.
Welcome and pleace stay to get closer to God and Jesus Christ, Amen
Genesis 1:27, notice: Genesis 1:26,28,29,
Genesis 2:7, interestingly here "formed, breathed life" is this symbolic of the Church the body of Christ to come? John 12:25, Genesis 3:22, John 5:26, John 5:24, John 3:36, John 6:48,54, Titus 1:2, Romans 8:6, John 5:39,
Is chapter 2, symbolic of the stewardship of GOD's Church? Genesis 2:15, Matthew 20:8, Luke 12:42, Mark 12,
Back to Genesis 1, "man appears to be collective for both" yes in name like human, humanity, humankind "man"
see even more interesting = Genesis 5:2,
GOD says distinctly female & male Genesis 1:27,
It appears it could be those created to multiply, fill the earth, subdue were away from the presence of GOD, again seeming to point to the symbolism in the garden "in the presence of GOD " His church. Genesis 3:8, Genesis 3:23-24, Genesis 4:14-16,
Genesis 2:17, spiritual death? Matthew 8:22, Luke 9:60, Matthew 22:32, Matthew 23:27,
In the forming of Eve, it appears also specific, spiritual & special with symbolism, Genesis 2:21-25, Genesis 6:1-3, Mark 10:4-9, 1Corinthians 6:15, Revelation 21:2,9, Isaiah 62:5, John 3:29-36, Matthew 22, Luke 12:36, Ephesians 5:30-32,
1Corinthians 13:9-12, James 1:5, Ephesians 3:4,
Hopefully these are all helpful
First, I would like to say one truth that cannot be misinterpreted, or overlooked, after the flood all mankind are descendants of Adam and Eve. There was 1656 years from the creation of Adam to the flood and only 5 chapters of Genesis, a lot of things are not written. Tradition strongly holds Adam was the first man and says chapter 2 is a closer look of man in day six.
There are two Adams in scripture the first one was disobedient the last one was obedient, and the last Adam was manifested to undo the works of the devil. Was the first Adam part of this plan that Satan had no clue? Is that what the tradition overlooks? We see in 1 Corinthians 15:47 Adam was the first man, but it also says Jesus was the second man. Romans 5:14 the first Adam was a figure of the one to come.
Does scripture line up with the tradition of Adam and Eve being the male and female in day six without questions? The herbs and fruit trees in day 3 are seed yielding, they would reproduce themselves with no cultivation needed, all animals and man ate plants. In chapter 2 the plants were of the field they had to be cultivated, a garden has to be planted and tilled to grow.
In day 5 the fowls came out of the water. In chapter 2 there were fowls formed out of the ground and brought to Adam. Are they the same fowls? In day 6 the beast and cattle of the earth before man, in chapter 2 beast and cattle of the field after Adam. Are they the same? Look at the description of the words earth and field.
In day 6 man was told to be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and have dominion over every living thing upon the earth. Could Adam and Eve obey these commandments from inside the garden?
There is more I could say, the only thing that cannot be denied mankind are descendants of Adam and the last Adam Jesus is from the line of Adam through Seth.
What would it change if Adam was not the first human? Nothing. Do we strain at a gnat and swallow a camel?
God bless,
RLW

Fill those he loves with love all the way to the brink Lord, so that they feel that he loves them all. Andrew will always in gratitude honor and love His God Jesus Christ, Amen.
John 7:10-24
Tell her I love her more than she knows.
Tell my family and friend I love them more than they know
Tell her I love her more than she knows.
Tell my family and friend I love them more than they know
Genesis 2:4, "These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens". "Generations" in the Hebrew can also mean 'account, order of begettings'. So in chapter 2, we're reading more detail of chapter 1, specific to the development of mankind. In Genesis 1:11,12, we read that God created the plants, but it seems that they were still sub-terranean, until man was created to till the ground & the mist sent by God to water them, then they began to grow. And of course, we read that man needed someone to help him & be a companion to him, hence the creation of Eve.
So, I read Genesis chapter 2 as an expansion of Genesis chapter 1 (the sixth day of creation), highlighting the need for cultivation & tending of God's plants, which man was appointed to do. Of course, mankind would eventually do much much more than being confined to farming work, but for Adam & Eve at that time, that was their sole responsibility.
There aren't two sets of people. Some confuse broad overview statements with detailed statements. For example, if someone told me "I was just in a car wreck! Someone hit me from the rear and broke my fender."
I could say to that person, "You were in two car wrecks? You just said you were already in a wreck in sentence 1, then in sentence 2 someone else hit you from the rear? Are you being truthful?"
And some use this assumption to falsely discredit the Bible. The misunderstanding is in how people deliver information. For instance Gen 1:1 is an overall thesis type statement of what happened. A broad overview. Then it goes back into detail of how it happened. Someone could use this to falsely assume that God was already done creating in verse 1, then proceeded to create even more earths. I hope you understand the point I am making about how people present information in a broad overview and then detail. It does not mean it is more than one thing, but a method of how people convey info. This occurs through the Bible- many examples. It also occurs in most stories and books. God bless.
Read slow. An event may be written in chapter 1, and more added in the next chapter.
Adams name means Man, in Hebrew.
Eve's name defines in Hebrew, man with a womb.
He was Formed from dust. She was Made from a rib.
Nothing is said about Adam being made with a womb inside of him.
It's easier to understand if we pay close attention to what God was doing (verbs). He created, He formed, He made, He took, He blew the breath of life, He spoke
I had to learn that in Genesis; not to speed read.
We need to follow bloodlines through a Genealogy charts.
As it is done now, people reuse the same names. Jesus's bloodline was through Adam & Eve's 3rd son, Seth.
Someday a human baby would be born and called Immanuel (GOD WITH US). By the time we get to Luke 1, here we see that Mary consents to the plan of the Godhead (LET US, in Genesis 1:26) She is overshadowed by the Holy Spirit. Joseph was not the body father. He and Mary had no relations; they waited until AFTER the birth of Jesus.
Jesus was fully God (Godhead; Romans 1:20), and fully human. He had DNA.
Why did it happen this way? EARTH WAS CREATED FOR MAN. Only humans can have dominion on earth. Satan had no dominion to be on earth. He had no body and took a serpents body to tempt Adam and Eve. Adam lost the dominion to satan.
On the Cross, Jesus won back that dominion and gave it back to humans. He gave His Believers (Christians) also, His Power and Authority to speak, heal, raise the dead, lead to salvation; BIND the activity of satan in human lives. If we aren't taught that, we live like orphans and get entangled in sin, frequently.
If our lives hurt, are confused, addicted to alcohol, drugs, porn, etc. Either we are not saved at all, or do not know what we have as believers in Jesus.
Ephesians 6, our satanic enemies are invisible. "Their fruit" exposes them: confusion, fear, torments, hatred, envy, they are illegal on earth!!
Not being smart but it's so simple. Bless you
Genesis 2: 7 God formed man from dust and breath life into man.
In Genesis 1, man appears to be collective for both male and female.
In Genesis 2, man appears to be male and the female was then formed from the man.
Please enlighten me on these two sets of people?
Thank you.

[ Genesis 1:2, John 3:6, Acts 2:1-3, John 16: 7-15]
Upon being born again, Jesus gives the Holy Spirit to teach us scripture, comfort us, convict us of sin, enable us to be witnesses. Stay in the New Testament at first.
But if they cannot contain [be celibate], let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
1 Timothy 5:14
I will therefore that the younger women marry, bear children, guide the house, give none occasion to the adversary (Satan) to speak reproachfully.
1 Timothy Chapter 4
1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times [now] some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
Comment: When God married Adam and Eve ( Genesis 1:24-25) they became one flesh.
Modern people: when we "break off one relationship and start another". There are "soul ties" left hanging. It's best to be betrothed for a year. This happened in the FIRST book of the Bible. (not 1 Corinthians 13). If a couple cannot keep the friendship alive, there is less chance of a lifelong marriage with one partner. Phillipians 2, for more reading.
