I Am Keeping an open mind I am fascinated by all the violence and perversion in the book. It is one of the most violent books ever written.

Why is it stated in this verse animals created like his kind and their kind. Who are this beings

I have read all the comments and didn 't find much to agree with. In my opinion if anyone believe in whatever they believe in that 's is rights he owns that rights. Some people while expressing their own rights are doing so as if to say the way they see it is the right way and no other way. Now my common sense leads me to believe that since GOD created man and woman in their own image, then we have a Heavenly Father and a Heavenly Mother whom I believe is the us who was mentioned. The bible didn 't clearly state that GOD was distinctly three people in or as one, that is clearly an opinion of someone who believed so. Also from my understanding there are many changes in the Bible of today to back up what they are teaching us. Interestingly from reading the 1st commandment I see Jesus as a image or idol, now I close by saying people of the true and living GOD remember to worship GOD in spirit and in truth.

Whenever we read genesis first chapter we are reminded that the lord is a wonder working God and He is trinity in all his opperations, and he is the provider for his creation

Book of Genesis can teach you a lot of things about how the world was created and how man allowed the sins to enter into the creation. God is a loving, caring, and forgiving God. We as a people need to learn to realize that it is time to come back to our first love in Christ Jesus.

The Hebrew word for seasons in Genesis 1 14 on the other hand is the word "moade " or "moadim " which means an appointment, fixed time or season for a definite purpose , as appointed beforehand , set time, appointed time, due time. This tells us of God 's calendar which carries definite purposes and appointed or set times for us His children Psalms 102 13, 1Chro 12 32.

Earth could not exist without stars. The heavier elements that make up planets are created from fusion in the cores of stars. To think earth could have existed before the "heavens " is preposterous. ...

Arguably, the first two verses of Genesis are timeless. They are a simple statement of fact In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Perhaps 'Time ' doesn 't start until he creates light, at which point the clock starts light and dark become the First Day.

In Genesis 1 it states that on the sixth day, God created man, both male and female and gave them dominion over all living things on Earth. Then in Genesis 2, it states that there was no man, so God created him. Then God created woman later as man 's companion since there was nothing suitable for him to be his companion. I wish the editors of this story had gotten their act together before going to final print. It doesn 't add credibility to the Bible when the story line is contradictory...

To find the word katabole and it 's meaning it is found. In the word foundation in the New Testament. Isaiah tells us in chapter 45 vs 18,19 earth beautiful,inhabited. Who wrote this stuff while they watched him do this? Why did he say "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth " Replenish means to restore to a former level or condition.

To Gen Ch 1 verse 26 comment Gen Ch 1 vs 2 second part says Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. This shows that the Holy Spirit was there from the beginning Gen. Ch. 1 vs 3 says And God SAID, Let there be light and there was light. The verb said in Greek is ipe anything that comes out of the mouth of God is Word which in Greek is Logos and the Bible is also called Logos in Greek, specially when we refer to the New Testament. This is an indication that Holy Trinity was from the beginning God, Son and Holy Spirit See also New Testament John Chapter 1 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him and without him was not any thing made that was made. This explains why God said in Gen 1 verse 26 Let us make man in our image....

Why is it in Genesis 1 26 it is written "God says let US make man in OUR image " who is the us here?

I believe that it happened just as this Scripture has said. God knows every cell in every vein of every leaf of every tree, and so on. He ways are unsearchable and His ways past finding out. He is altogether Wonderful, as His name implies. What a mighty GOD we serve!!!

Genesis 1 1 is a general statement, like a subject title. All other verses in Genesis 1 is a detailed explanation of how God created the earth. Genesis I is the generation of creation. Genesis 2 is the generation of man.

Genesis 1 27 is just one of the verses that say 's God created man. God created both male and female. We are not our own but we belong to God. After all God did create us. We did not come from something that crawled out of the ocean and evolved. We were created by God for God.

I believe in the big bang theory. GOD spoke and ...BANG it was!!! Genesis 1 1 reveals perfection. God is a perfect God and all He creates is perfect and complete. When Gen.1 1 says He created the heaven, that means everything in the heaven was also created at the same time. In sequence He created the earth. Before He begun the creation of the earth the heavens were finished! God is perfect and all He creates is perfect just like Him. It was also complete. Adam wasn 't a little boy who grew up before God, Adam was a full grown, mature man! However, Adam was NOT formed or created in the beginning. The heavens and the earth were and that 's what this scripture says. Praise the Lord for His creation of the heavens and the earth!!!!!

I think Genesis I is communicating to me about me and who am I and why am I here. Most of the time I do not read the Bible literally. I wait and pray to my Father, Lord God to open my eyes to its understandings. Some verses can take years of prayer. In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God. And the Word was God. In God was life. And the life was the light. The light was with Jesus. And the Light was Lord Jesus. In Lord Jesus was the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God was with Jesus. And Jesus was the Spirit of God. The Spirit of God is within my living soul. And I am alive. I am life? The life that was the light of all men. The light that shineth in darkness and the darkness that comprehend it not. Nothing was made without God. All men have the light when alive. It s about how you use the light that was given you when you re alive in life. Can anyone see what I see?

A question that arises after reading Genesis chapter 1 is, what realm or dimension did the events of day 1 take place? The reason for this question is because the firmament wasn 't created until day 2. In verse 8 God called the firmament Heaven. The firmament is also the open space which surrounds our earth where the birds fly in, and the firmament is also the open outer space which the sun, moon, and stars exist in. We see the evidence for this in verses, 14 thru 17, and verse 20. I believe that the events of day 1 took place in a spiritual realm of existence. What is commonly called the big bang I believe took place when God created the firmament in day 2. As the firmament was created, in entered the earth, the water, the darkness, and the light from day 1, into the realm or dimension of existence which our present universe now exists in. Amen.

It interesting to note that nowhere in the Bible does it say that anything God created was ever in a state of perfection. If this were the case, Genesis wouldn 't state that "it was good " or that "it was very good. " Nope...it would state that it was perfect.

Science says that the universe was created by two highly energized beams of immense size of light hitting each other, forming matter and anti matter. Matter formed was more than anti matter and after anhilation of anti matter, the balance matter expanded rapidly and created this universe. This is the big bang theory. 1. Some body must have concentrated and energized these beams and also directed it. 2. I oppose the theory that more of matter had formed in the interaction, as theoratically equal quantities are to form. Further if that theory true the quantum of energy required would be astronomical times that required for the matter formed. Therefore matter and anti matter must have been seperated. This could not have happened at random. Who has done this?

Its beyond human comprehension that this kind of a GOD is not just God bt the ALMIGHTY THE MEGA ONE...its so complicated the marvellous thingz He has created, I just Love you GOD
