This is the 1st Earth Age,
    Genesis 1:1-2
1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Our Father didnt create nothin "Void" this word was means became that way.
To understand our Fathers 7 thousand year plan, one must understand the 3- Earth Age's

The beginnig of God is different from that of heavens and earth as well as man. Before the beginning begin, there was God inotherword God has no beginning. Man's. Knowledge should start in his beginning(life) and end in his ending(death). God regreted in craeting man because He knew that man will think above his beginning and his ending

    Garvin Kirkpatrick,
I have to say this you are not correct "Jesus Christ His ONLY Son" Jesus Christ is GOD's only begotten son. Because a born-again Christian has Christ in him/her, he/she is a son of GOD with all power since Jesus Christ said in John 14: 12. "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father."
And in Col 1:27 KJV "Christ in you, the hope of glory"
Romans 8:14. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
    16. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
    17. And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ"
    Romans 8 KJV
    29. "For whom he (GOD) did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he (Jesus Christ) might be the firstborn among many brethren."
(Jesus Christ is our older brother Spiritually and spiritually we who are born-again are the children of GOD.)

the very same god said that will die and ressurect on the third day, is tha god created the earth and every thing within it and nothing existed without him. these days are 24 days not not a day to god is 1000 years to a man. a day for a hundred years is the prophetical years and did not apply during creation of earth and everying within.

It's truly amazing how our God has Preserved His Word, for 400 years.. Ps 12:6-7 It is Infallible and Inerrant, Truly II Tim 3:15 "All scripture is given by Inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." Amen!! Praise our God!!
  • Garvin Kirkpatrick on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
    If only man would turn to the Scriptures for the answers to how the earth and heavens came about.Can man look up and say there is no God;
God made the world out of nothing. There was not any pre - existent matter out of which the world was produced. The fish and fowl were produced out of the waters, and the beasts and man out of the earth; but that earth and those waters were made out of nothing.
The evidence exits but man in all his "great wisdom" chooses to ignore it, PREPARE TO MEET THY GOD. Ilove the Bible, cover to cover, it tells of God's great LOVE afforded to all who will come to him through Jesus Christ His ONLY Son. Praise God

the creation of God ended on the six day on the seventh day God rested from all His work, theres no 8 day mentioned in the creation of God, Genesis 1 is a spiritual creation of all things even vers 26,where Genesis 2:7 is a reality where God formed man from the dust of the earth, its to believe God's word and not figure out what happened.6 is the number of men,7 is God's number,rest,8 is eternaty, bacc to the beginning. ONLY BELIEVE.GOD BLESS.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Period! The second verse says the earth was without form and void. God did not create the earth that way. The manuscripts actually say the earth became formless and void-why? Because of the revolt of Satan. The Father made a beautiful and perfect earth and Satan, along with one third of the angels revolted against our Father and the earth was decimated. Our Father renewed, refreshed or recreated the earth again in 6 days; remember that a day with the Lord is as a thousand years with man. Whether or not the 6 days were periods of 24 hours, as we know it, or 6 millennium doesn't matter. The Father made man, Adam, which consisted of all races, on the sixth day. He created a specific man, eth ha Adam, on the eighth day and placed him in the garden. This specific man was to till the ground. Out of him, came Eve from the "rib"or curve, which was actually the DNA of Adam.

The Father has given man, through the movement of the Holy Spirit, this letter, His Word, which we call the Holy Bible. It is both literal and figurative, as is necessary, for our learning and understanding. It has samples and ensamples by which we may see the TRUTH of His Word. We should always ask The Father for a word of wisdom, to see the true meaning of any passage we may be reading. He always answers; He is always there for us. All praise, honor and glory to the Living God!

We see Elohim is present. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was God. Jesus is the Word, the same in Genesis 1:1 at the creation of the world. God in three person the God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Just as water has three forms: Ice, Vapor, and Liquid still water. The just shall live by faith, and we cannot comprehend the trinity in our finite minds, but faith comes by hearing the Word of God. One day our faith will be turned into sight when we see Jesus. Thank God he is the way, the truth, and the life, no man comes unto the Father except by him. Therefore receive the Son, for God has said my Spirit will not always strive with man. Now is the day of salvation receive him today, and you will live forever with him through out eternity.
  • George on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
God created male & female , as it was the 6th day creation.
God rested on the seven day.
On the 8th day , God created a chosen man called Adam , and from his rib , God formed Eve.
Both Adam & Eve was the 8th creation., and was created to know God , to serve God & to live with him forever .
So God wanted to teach Adam & Eve about obedience to God's words.
So this was the creation of Adam & Eve which God want to reveal himself .

It seems to me that the fundamental problem people have in interpreting and consequently understanding Genesis 1 springs from an attempt to reconcile what they know as 21st century readers acquainted with science and acquainted with developments in biblical interpretation. NB: acquainted with, not experts in.

I do not see Genesis 1 as an account of natural history but rather as an account of G-d's "intervention" in time. If the order of creation corresponds to the order of evolution, that is a coincidence and does nothing to invalidate either view.

For me G-d is unknowable, unfathomable, incomprehensible, although we may see the results of his action or inaction.

We can never put ourselves in the place of the Israelites who heard the account set out in Genesis or of the few who read it early on, no matter how hard we try. The extreme options, as I see them, are only to attempt to understand Genesis as the Israelites may have or only to draw lessons from it that are applicable to our own lives.

A synthesis of these options may be the best course, but if we fail to apply the lessons we can draw from our reading, we may as well read an ancient secular work, uninspired by G-d, however we may understand what inspiration is.

Ted, Before the tower of babel was created we all spoke the same language and were the same race, when humanity became strong enough to build a tower to reach heaven. god had punished us by splitting humanity in different races that speak different languages so we dont try to get to heaven before are time.
  • Moses parker on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
In Genesis I don't think that G'd is speaking in a literal way; particularly when he speaks of the creation of the heaven and the earth. For example, when G'd says "let there be light" I think that it's allegorical language extolling us to get knowledge; develop the intellect. Is not knowledge a light? Does it not allow us to see? On the other hand, ignorance is darkness. "And G'd divided the light from the darkness" is allegorical for the separation of ignorance from knowledge.
  • Conseatta Stewart on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
The bible is not hard to understand. Take your time open your mind and allow yourself not to understand in a carnal mind. Remember God's thinking and man thinking are on two different levels. By the way the Bible was written by several men, but they were men who were inspired to write because of God. He told them what to write down. Just like History books, in order for us to know anything about our past it must be written down and kept for generations to come...

God said what he meant and meant what he said, its not a mystery anymore. In the chapters 6 it is talking about the Godly line intermarring with the Un godly, not a pre-existing spirit being from heaven.

God, there is no question. The Bible is where I have problems and find it confusing in many ways. Really with Genesis 6, 1-7, God had sons in heaven?, who came down, to bare children with daughters of man, that became mighty men, that were of old men of renown? God knows man is evil, yet man is the writer of all the books? Trying to understand, when you have to fill in the empty space.

I believe the big bang theory is a very carnel minded way of thinking about life when god himself made such wonderful creation around us.
  • Garyloyd on Genesis 1 - 12 years ago
Levi wisdom was Proverbs 8:22 to 31 and in 31 you will see that you are there along with all of us. Moses was most likely the scribe. Creation was spoken of in Isaiah 45:18. Along time before this renewal took place of planet earth. The first earth age was destroyed, made to a wilderness in Jeremiah 4:22 to 27 and after that katabole (cast down overthrow) you see there God telling us "not to a full end" no not Noahs flood there is no boat or people left in the first flood. 2 Peter 3 speaks of this and were not to be ignorant of it. The 4th word in the 2nd verse is hayah and it means and translates "became" not "was". God got mad and sunk the earth in water and washed it like a bowl 14000 years ago because of an attempted overthrow by satan. Things froze up pretty cold and then God turned the light back on. All that I said I can prove in the scripture but I my self have an opinion about something that I can't prove to be scripture and that is verse 4 where I believe God seperated the children of light from the children of the darkness. If you read the Parable of the Sower Matt. 13:37 to 43 you see the seperation of children and who sows them. We know 2 of every flesh got on the 2nd flood boat with Noah and his family so that means 2 kenites (sons of Cain) and they show up in 1st Chron. 2:55. Oh! Eve didn't eat an apple in the fig grove with Satan the serpent who was the tree of good who turned evil. Nope! Cain came from his daddy the tree of good and evil and that's the contravesy spoken of between the seeds. (Sperm) generations not yet born. Anyway, we were all replenished in the flesh this second earth age and this first chapter is speaking of getting things back in order to live in the flesh.
