Hi Sandra Take time to look up Sept. 11th 3 b.c. this has been proven scripturally and historically and by accurate astronomy not astrology, in Psalm 19:1-6 the heavens and the earth declare the glory of God,also in Genesis 1:13 and god said Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night and let them be for signs [hebrew root word is to mark]and for seasons and for days and years. Gods word about creation is astronomy anything talking about astrology or the queen of heaven is occult.

JD Moore, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

Man translated the bible, man has beliefs of his own; often, using the word being translated to fit His belief.

Why did the translators translate the Greek word hades (sheol in Hebrew) half the time GRAVE and half the time HELL, when the same word is being translated.

Revelation 1:18 ....I (Christ) have the keys of hell (HADES) and death.

1 Corinthians 15:55 ... O grave (HADES), where is thy victory.

The same Greek word translated two ways.

The translators couldn't translate hades as hell in 1 Corinthians 15:55 because Christ has victory over hell (hades).

Christ has VICTORY over DEATH and THE GRAVE, keys (VICTORY) of the GRAVE (mistranslated hell) and DEATH.

These keys and this victory is Christ RESURRECTION.

John 11:25 .... I am the resurrection ...... Keys (victory) of DEATH and the GRAVE

The same translators translated the Greek word aion to mean eternally or everlasting or for ever and ever, when it aion should have been translated AGE.

Revelation 11:15 ....and he shall reign forever and ever...should be translated, he shall reign for the AGE of the AGES.

We know this is correct because 1 Corinthians 15:24 says when he has subdued all thing to himself he will turn the kingdom back to the Father, so he has to reign for the AGE OF AGES and not for ever and ever.

The Revised Standard Bible: What about who translated this version? I want to zero in on how this bible was put together, who paid for it to be originated and why. Please refer me to the source materials to answer these questions in order to reveal how superior the KJV is over all other efforts and claims to be God's Word. The KJV is the only true written in English and unedited?

The way I heard that scripture taught, is: "you can blaspheme my Daddy, you can Blaspheme me (Jesus speaking) but do not ever blaspheme THE HOLY SPIRIT!! I will not forgive.

Jesus is highly protective towards the Holy Spirit. HS is the very spirit of Christ. He speaks of and teaches us, of Jesus.

As a baby Christian who does not yet know of the severity of this sin; you won't be punished. But once you Know of that scripture, there is accountability. "You shall know the Truth"

If the Holy Spirit gives you the truths about God the Father, or Jesus in scripture or audibly, your duty as a child of the Most High, is to respond in faith (not doubt, not contention, not blatant unbelief).

All of our weak faith issues can be remedied by digging into Gods Word/Bible, to prove or disprove. God doesn't want us clueless. That's the Holy Spirits ministry/job, to shed LIGHT on what appears dark now. ASK HIM. Genesis 1:3

Go on Google, type in: "ministry of the Holy Spirit, Bible"__and just read all the many things He is involved in. Widen your knowledge.

Don't BLAME God for things you imagine that He has done. He gets blamed for all the bad things in our lives. JOB 1. There is a very bad Devil that spies on us, looks for ways to get us to blame God for the things Satan does. "We are to be wise as serpents, but mild as doves." We have to grow up and kick in satans teeth OURSELVES. Eph.6 !!

Cover your life in prayer. Pick up that sword (Bible) and cut down satans accusations and attempts to destroy your faith, family, job, health, marriage, wild children, etc.

In addition to investigating subjects that are hard to learn; build up your Faith in God. Until you do, you're a baby in a high chair. Learn of God so you can make Satan's life a NIGHTMARE! He is the ACCUSER, MURDERER, CHAOS, Deceiver, Jezebel, LIAR, and a 100 more names. Google that List too.

Chaos verses or order This is what I read in Genesis between 1:1 and 1:2 God is a God of order and light and love when Lucifer was thrown out of heaven took 1/3 of messengers with Him first thing he did was throw into chaos Gods creation. We read starting at 1:3 how God set it back in order I also believe there was Life here before adam and eve because in Genesis 1:28 God tells them be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth. The only thing left from 1:1 to 1:3 are remains of a time of chaos and disorder man really doesn't know the life that was there but it wasn't what God intended.

Thank you GiGi. I agree entirely with what you've stated, & indeed as with your other comments on this early part of the Scriptures. I think you will be blessed by coming on here & contributing, as we too will be blessed & strengthened in the knowledge of God & applying biblical Truths to our lives - and of course, the many who just quietly visit taking in Truths that they've never heard before - this can really be a mighty avenue of ministry for you. I look forward to reading your other comments & being encouraged in the Word.

Agreed. "Holy imagination" can be tricky and can lead people astray, but can be helpful as the Holy Spirit leads and with input from strong, grounded, trustworthy believers.

I try to focus on the obvious understanding of a verse within the context of the whole passage and then pose questions as I prayerfully consider things that may have some underlying meaning that may point to future events in the Bible or what was said by Jesus or the New Testament writers. I try to confine my thinking so as not to get too far beyond the text. I believe that the Bible was written for the common man to understand what is being conveyed and to know what to believe concerning God, salvation, and godly living. I think it is good to be satisfied with these things even if we never find out any other "deep" things from the Spirit. But being well established in these things, we can study Scripture with more openness to double meanings etc. Since a young age, I have prayed to God to show me what is true because I never want to believe something that isn't the truth. God has been faithful to me, giving me a good sense of discernment when hearing or reading things and the Spirit sends up "red flags" in my mind when something seems not quite right. I then refuse to consider that idea or teaching further unless God brings to me information that shows why it is wrong or even why it really is o.k.

Thanks for you kind reply. This is my first venture on this website and I am expecting to be blessed and to bless others.

The Lord bless you & guide your thoughts & meditations, GiGi, as you re-commence this biblical journey with 'fresh (spiritual) eyes'. You certainly appear to have a great solid basis to spring from & I perceive that you will adhere only to the revealed Scriptures to form the basis of any revelations by the Holy Spirit.

My own 'bedrock' is: if the Scriptures don't reveal it, then don't speculate on it. One can use 'holy imagination' of course, but if that in turn becomes a viable truth, then the likelihood of moving further away from what the Bible reveals, becomes very real. And isn't that how cults form & those well-meaning Christians who are no longer satisfied with what is revealed to us, but dig so deep that they no longer can climb out of their hole. I grieve about that, as so many could have been mightily used of the Lord, but now have become enemies of the Cross & of salvation by Grace through Faith. And yet, we are not ignorant of our enemy's devices. Every blessing.

I lean towards a "Gap" theory understanding between Genesis 1:1-1:3. If this happens to be true and there was a "world" or "era" prior to the six days of creation, we cannot know what that may have been like, especially spiritually. Fossil records and archeological discoveries may shed light on some of the physical matter, cultural, geological, and biological, aspects of time before the Genesis creation beginning in Ch.1:3. Will be interesting to see what God allows us to find out.

There is nothing to limit God from having designed an era prior to our present, (or multiple). We may not discover His purpose or salvic plan for these era(s) this side of heaven. After 65 years of life on this planet, all of which were lived as a member of Christ's church, I hadn't really felt much of a desire to delve into this subject. But last January, I felt that the Spirit was drawing me investigate. The internet has been very helpful as I studied with Bible in hand. It has been a fruitful study, making me prayerfully think in depth about so many things written in these first chapters of Genesis. Things I keep in mind as I study these topics are, How important is it that I fully understand this?" "Will it edify me or others? "Does this thinking add to my understanding of who my God is and how He has saved me? "Is it simply interesting to consider, but not something I need to spend a lot of time trying to figure out or share with others?"

So, I approach beginning in Genesis once again as a faith journey on which I can learn from the Holy Spirit and also improve my readiness to give an answer to those who ask me about the hope I have in God. I am thankful for all of the input others have added to the comment section. Having come from a very traditional church background for the first 20 years of my life as well as many years in various denominations since then, I am thankful to have had the fullness of the journey God has walked with me all of these years. I pray to stay true.

You didn't cite one Bible verse supporting your feelings, I wonder why.

Just 1 scripture shows whether what you said is true or false:

    John 1:1

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."

    "...WORD WAS GOD."

Is Jesus the Word? Yes, John 1:14.

This verse is like kryptonite to those who don't want to believe in Jesus's divinity, because it leaves no room for creative interpretation. Anti-Jesus folks hate this verse and will perform all kinds of mental gymnastics to try to make it mean something else, but it doesn't work. It already means exactly what it says.

But is that the only verse saying that Jesus is God? There's more...

    1 John 5:7

    Genesis 1:26

    Genesis 11:6-7

    John 10:30

    John 8:19

    John 1:1

    Philippians 2:5 - 2:8

    2 Corinthians 5:19

    John 1:3

    1 John 5:7

    Matthew 28:19

    1 Peter 1:2

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    Deuteronomy 6:4

    John 14:10

    John 20:28

    1 John 5:8

    1 John 2:22-24

Isaiah 7:14 - Jesus is called Immanuel which means "God with us"

    Matthew 1:23-25

Hebrews 1:8 "But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom."

The answer to your question, in the beginning everything ate grass, herbs of the field, and fruit from the trees, there wasn't any need of meats. Adam was immortal like the creator (God) and when God created Eve she was immortal too. Adam and Eve did not need nourishment for the body they were like God's, the animals ate grass and herbs, the lion would lay down beside the lamb. But like everything that God does humans get into it and it becomes a mess. After the sin of the forbidden fruit Adam and Eve became flesh and blood, God took their immortal away from them and block the way to the tree of life which would have gave them immortal back. After Adam and Eve lost their immortal there was a need for meats and a need for nourishment for the body. hope this clears up the scripture for you.

    God Bless

stay prayed up and ready to go up

Hi Lynda. We are in the new covenant. You have to remember, at that time Adam and Eve were perfect. So they probably were not in need of any protein. Today even those who say that don't eat meat have to get their protein somehow or they will end up in the hospital and even die. You cannot mix old wine in new wineskins, but new wine must be placed in new wineskin. Jesus said, It's not what enters the mouth that defiles the body, but what comes out.

Genesis has to be read slower. God created everything necessary for all creatures and man to be able to eat herbs, grass, nectar, meats, etc. Every creature right down to a snail or smaller, had exactly the perfect food.

    Romans 14:2

For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth HERBS.

    Romans 14:15

But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

    Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is NOT meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

    1 Corinthians 10:31

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

    Colossians 2:16

Let NO man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

    1 Timothy 1: 1-4

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the LATTER TIMES, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of DEVILS

    2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

3 FORBIDDING to marry, and COMMANDING to ABSTAIN from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

4 For every creature of God is good, and NOTHING to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:

See, everything God made is good for us. In an agricultural society, people are very active and work off extra calories.

Not so much now in high-Tech society. If we eat too many calories, it stretches the stomach and the ribs and we walk leaning backwards.

My only comment is: I pray the Lord's Prayer over my food faithfully, because of things like covid and flu, ecoli, wisteria etc. I'm not paranoid; I just want to enjoy mealtimes. :D

Day 1: light divided from darkness Genesis 1:3-5

Day 3: earth to bring forth vegetation Genesis 1:9-13

Day 4: lights in heaven; a greater light {sun?} to rule the day

and a lesser light {moon?} to rule the night Genesis 1:14-19

Bible answer: "Yes," God Created the vegetation Before the sun!

There is a difference between the SUN and the Light. Genesis 1:3, 1:14-17. Revelation 21:23, Revelation 12:1-2. MINISTRY OF THE TWO ELIJAS

Many have stumbled over the Ministry of John the Baptist and Malachi 4:5-6. For some reasons:

    They do not know their ministries;

    John the Baptist Ministry:

1:17And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

    Malachi 4:5-6 Ministry:

Malachi 4:6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

    Similarities in these ministries

John The Baptist Foreran the First Coming of Jesus Christ.

Malachi 3:1Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts. Matthew 11:9-10

Malachi 4:5-6 Foreruns the Second coming of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 17: 11And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things. Revelation 10:7

    Differences

John the Baptist was he voice of one crying in the wilderness.

    Mark 1:3

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. John 10:41

    Malachi 4:4-6

His ministry was to carry the Gift of Divine healing and Revealing the mysteries hid in the bible before the second coming.

Malachi 4:2But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. JOEL 2:31, MALACHI 4:6, REV 10:7

NOW IF ANYBODY COMES TO TELL US ABOUT REPETANCE WE KNOW THAT, THAT WAS THE MINISTRY OF JOHN THE BAPIST.IF SOMEONE COMES AND CLAIM TO BE ELIJAH OF MALACHI 4:5-6 WITHOUT THE MINISTRY OF DIVINE HEALING BUT SUBSTITUTES

I will try to answer your question. If you're asking who wrote the code for the website, Administration can answer that better than I. If your asking the translation it appears to be exact translation from 1611 & a later version. KJV isn't covered under copyright. Newer versions can be covered under copyright because of the laws of copyright & date of publication. There are several versions that will have their version in the title. In this Title it's "The King James Standard"

The King James Bible Online has a recent copyright 2021, most likely to protect it's code, uses, design, images etc.

    I hope that's helpful
