In Genesis 1 vs 28 when God blessed Adam and Eve and said "Be fruitful, multiply and replenish the earth". What is meant by "replenish "? Doesn't this allude to it having once been full and needs refilled?

    Repent. You're on dangerous ground.

The Scriptures about the Godhead. Sometimes called "Let Us..." in some passages. These scriptures are evidence of all 3 persons of the Godhead speaking to each other.

    Genesis 1:26, 3:22, 11:7

    Isaiah 6:8

    Romans 1:20

    Colossians 2:9

    Acts 17:27-30

    1 John 5:7

    John 10:30

"For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and GODHEAD so that they are without excuse:"

    Genesis 1:1

    The Father purposes

The Word (Jesus) speaks. ( John 1:1)

The Spirit (Holy Spirit) performs the spoken word. Action.

God is spirit. The Holy Spirit is spirit.

    Jesus is Son of Man.

Anything that is not Truth__is a LIE. We know who the Father of Lies is (Satan).

Lie is the name of a demon. Reading this is going to seriously disturb "it". If you tolerate its presence, it will let others come inside too. Matthew 12

You need to get on YouTube and watch THE AUTHORITY of the believer in Jesus Christ. All of them.

You need to say, The Blood of Jesus has made me whiter than snow. Isaiah 1:18.

Fight this. Rid your house of any contamination: books, alcoholic drink, pharmaceuticals, the Holy Spirit will show you.

Yes, in the beginning, i.e. in JESUS GOD created the heavens (four heavens, four celestial environments like the garden of Eden) and earth (the dry land, the clay).

These things GOD revealed to Moses around 2.500 years or two days and half of works. GOD had already finished His works of the 1st and 2nd Days completely, by the way the flood happened after 1.656 years of works of GOD, and Noah was 600 years old.

Abraham was born around 2.085, I would say in the first century of the second millennium or second Day of God's works, and after 430 years, or around 2.515 years, GOD worked hard to get out the Hebrews from Egypt through Moses to whom GOD revealed Genesis having worked two days and half or two millenniums and half.

And Israel, the clay, the dry land, the earth, was created, a peculiar people of GOD, descendants of Abraham, and Israel was a separated people for GOD, separated of all uncircumsized people called or known as Gentiles people since ancient times( Isaiah 9:v.1).

GOD revealed to Moses: Genesis 1:v.9-10:

9 - Let the waters (peoples, and nations, and multitudes, and tongues - Gentile peoples) under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land -ISRAEL, the clay- appear: and it was so in the midst of the third millennium.

    - 10 And God called the dry land earth; 12 and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third Day. - third millennium -

In the fourth Day, GOD sent JESUS, the beginning,- the Greater Light - to preach the Gospel of GOD's Kingdom. The Lesser Light is the Holy Spirit, the Comfort. Genesis 1:v. 16-19

Around two thousand years have passed from JESUS until our days, we are now living in the beginning of the first century of the seventh and last millennium, or seventh and last Day - the LORD's Day - the Millennium of Christ, he Millennium of Vengeance, the Millennium of Judgment, the Judgment Seat of Christ.

Hello Donna. That would have to be one of those decisions that can never be easily made & I'm so sorry to read that you might be in that position. In my understanding, such an act to remove a person's life support would not be a sin, as a sin would have to be a wilful act of taking of another's life, or even planning to do so.

Such a decision would have to be made in consultation with the person's medical practitioner, who would have reported the full state of the person's condition: whether failure in organs, absence of mental activity, in a coma or vegetative state, etc. As well, the wishes of that person, if declared earlier, would be taken into account. And even with all that, for a loved one to make such a decision would be extremely difficult & heart-wrenching.

Technically speaking, to remove a life support is not the taking away of that life; it's just a denial of a life-giving support that the person may not ordinarily have in other circumstances. There are folk, & I know of one lady particularly, who, knowing that she needed an urgent operation to her stomach, had a firm belief that God would heal her if He so chose to. God did not grant her healing & she passed on. She chose to refuse medical intervention, yet did not do anything specifically to end her life - i.e. she desired to be left in God's Hands rather than to receive medical help or even life support.

In like manner, a dear one who is maybe clinically dead without any hope of recovery, even without some vital sign appearing during the duration of the life support, could be considered passed away with organs operating only because of mechanical intervention. Such a state would certainly be undesirable for that person, nor will give any hope to loved ones attending. The peace you need about this matter can only come from the Lord as well as a clear indication by the doctor that the dear one has passed the point of any hope or recovery. May you have the comfort & peace of God in your heart.

In original language it says: In Beginning.

The first thing God created is TIME.

We know the earth is billions of years old by artifacts, etc. We have to accept the fact that the Bible is about Jesus Christ. God did not choose to write a Book about Earths formation.

I believe He meant for us to discover a truth: that SOMEONE made all of this. Read Romans 1

Time was created. For mankind; and times and seasons. Read Psalms 33:6-9; Jeremiah 4:23; Isaiah 24:1, 40:12. Job 38 is helpful too.

You are going to enjoy studying so much more if you'll get a study Bible, with CENTER COLUMN references (center of each page); with study helps like concordance, maps, lists. I saw some on Amazon the other day on sale. King James Version. :D

Always, always ask the Holy Spirit to Teach you what you are studying. That is Him in Genesis 1:2

He was awaiting Gods purpose, and the Word of God (Jesus) to speak forth.

You have to be born again, Baptized into the Holy Spirit; to be taught Bible personally by Him.

Jesus went through the Cross also, to give us the indwelling Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. Jesus said, unless I go away he (Holy Spirit) Comforter, Teacher, Convictor of sins, cannot come. He's as real as the nose on your face. study HIs Gifts. You can ask for the best gift. He knows exactly what you need.

I have a really special reveal on the Holy Spirit: He sings. I sing to Him and it probably hurts His ears, so we sing together. Why do we not enter into His presence and just listen to Him?

This comment room would be on fire if we would believe what Jesus told us about the Comforter. I know why Paul thought it better to go to heaven, but he suffered to stay here so we could grow up strong in Jesus Christ.

Stop looking at this world that is dying, and turn your eyes upon Jesus! He loves us and wants us to be with Him always. Learn the Knowledge of the Holy. That's a scripture.

    Peter,

There are places in scripture that make it seem as though the two words (made/created) are interchangeable. Having very little knowledge of Hebrew, I did a little bit of reading and there are two different Hebrew words used. For create, it is the word BARA. And for made, the Hebrew word is ASAH. I can't share much on these words due to very little knowledge of the Hebrew language. But I can share with you what I was taught over the years. In Genesis chapter 1, we are told that God created the heavens and the earth. We are also told that God made man.

What I have learned to be the difference between the two words is that when God created the heavens and the earth, He did so from out of nothing. In other words, He simply spoke things into existence. But when God made man, He formed man out of the dust of the ground, something that already was in existence. Maybe this is a lame answer but hopefully someone can share more on those two words from a Hebrew perspective which would better answer your question.

    To whom it may concern,

I would like to know what is the difference between God "made" and God "created". in the book of Genesis.

    Just thinking aloud:

"To make" could mean; to shape and give it form and function

"To created" could mean; to make it appear, to create something, like an artwork, it doesn't need to have a function or a purpose.

I would like more clarity on these two words,

Are the words different in the original language and or do they mean the same and why are there two words used?

    Thank you so much.

Brother Jesse Tacker, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding. Hebrews 1:3 Who (Christ) being the brightness of his (the Father's) glory, and the express image of His (the Father's) person, and upholding all things by the word of his (the Father's) power, when he (Christ) by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the majesty on High. Revelation 3:14 ....The beginning of creation.... Christ was the FIRST MAN and he is GOD. The beginning (the first man) and the ending (the last man). Psalms 82:6 I (God) have said, Ye are gods, the children of the most high. John 10:34 Jesus answered them, is it not WRITTEN in your law, I said, Ye are gods? John 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom (CHRIST IN YOU) the word of God came unto; and the scripture cannot be broken; Christ is CREATING Sons of God; exactly like him, when he is finished we will be gods just as he is. Romans 8:29 ....To be conformed to the IMAGE of his Son .... Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be IN YOU which was ALSO IN Christ Jesus, who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be EQUAL WITH GOD. Michael. If you're thinking of Isaiah 45:7, please don't assume that there is any evil within the Godhead to produce evil. We need to understand that verse properly. Just as the LORD "formed the light", so too can He "create darkness". That is, when God chooses to remove the light, darkness remains - darkness is the default. God had to introduce light to dispel darkness ( Genesis 1:1-5); Jesus had to become Light unto men to reveal & dispel their inner darkness ( John 12:46).

Likewise, God said, "I make peace and create evil". Evil came from the father of evil & sin, who is the devil. And the devil has controlled the world with his wickedness ( Ephesians 2:1-3). But in that overwhelming wickedness, the merciful God has still brought peace to the hearts & lives of many: to His people, Israel, if they obeyed: Psalm 119:165; Proverbs 16:7 and to all others who come to Him through the Cross of His Son ( John 14:27; Ephesians 2:13-18).

But what happens when God chooses to remove His Peace? And what happens when God chooses to remove His Light? If Peace goes, evil will immediately take over - if Light is removed, darkness instantly prevails. So, God is not the author of evil, but that evil is the result when His Peace is removed; hence, as it is written, "I create evil", or, 'I have allowed evil to take hold (or, make evil happen), because I have removed My Peace'.

Maybe if Satan was bound soon after him troubling mankind with evil, there would be no need for such verses that would require God to act against evil, but in the Wisdom of God & to make His Power, Love & Salvation known to all, we who have been drawn to & choose His Light & Peace, can always know His Power constantly working in us. But if that Light & Peace fades away in us, we know it's because we have given Satan a foothold in us, bringing us into darkness & sin.

There are scriptures in Genesis that explain SOME (not all) about the pre-Adamic world.

A word of caution: there are Cults that teach something called Old Earth Theory. It was used to explain archeology, geology, space exploration, ancient religions, dinosaurs, really old human bones.

Although some of these things are alluded to; does not mean a separate book was included in the Bible, or Canonized. God did not Authorize "old earth theory". There is the danger of heresy. Avoid that.

The entire Bible IS ABOUT JESUS Christ. He's practically on every page. If you miss that reality, then you can be drawn away by the Lust for self-importance. (Pride). Ego and arrogance.

The way to deep study the Bible is to get a Study Bible with a CENTER OF EACH PAGE COLUMN. The abc's imbedded in a scripture correspond to a letter in the Center column. You have to stop where you are and go read all of those notes. Those notes will lead you to even more expanded teaching. make notebooks full of notes: how you got from "here", to "there", and everything in between. Genesis jumps forward and backs up. Easy to miss.

I think, given this TIME in history [His-Story], we should concentrate on the prophesy of Daniel 12:5-13.

WE are the generation that will know what that Chapter has hidden for a very long time. They're coming unsealed. Life and goings on, all over this planet are being unsealed.

Don't get distracted now. Who stands to benefit with us being distracted and led away on fake mystery hunts? Satan.

Be relevant to the signs of the Times. Matthew 24:34, Matthew 25:35

How good are you at reading signs?

Type SIGNS in the Search Box and prepare to be amazed!

Lastly, science and theories will not secure Salvation, nor will you get to meet the Creator.

There was stuff here. Then God CREATED TIME. Genesis 1:1. Only THEN, time started ticking. Scientists can estimate age; but not time.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven( Job 38:4-7 4Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. 5Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it? 6Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof; 7When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?) and the earth. ( Isaiah 14:12-14 12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.) What I put in parentheses are the the other scriptures that show angles were made before the earth, since they are witness of the creation of the earth. Also I put in scripture were Lucifer first decide to rebel against God which would be after the creation of the earth before the flood of the universe which is why the Spirt of God is hovering over the waters. It was due to judgment against Lucifer and his fallen angels and creation at the time. Now angles cant die by the flood waters they are sprit but what ever was on the earth during that time could die which is were you can find your dinosaurs living during Lucifer rein over the earth. Also its the reason why God said in Genesis 9:11-15 And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. Their was a flood before Noah's flood its the reason why good use the pervious waters already left over from the pervious flood. When ever waters is mentioned in Genesis it refers to the waters in Genesis 1:2.

Praise God!! Thank you Mishael and S. Spencer. Long ago, just a short time after I was saved, I was driving in my car humming a popular tune that was on the radio. Suddenly I heard deep within my spirit, "Shhhhh, be still" and a feeling of peace drawing me within. I stopped humming and listened. His Word made me still, though I didn't know it was Him yet. I had never heard interior words before. Perhaps this is not the experience of everyone, but it is mine, glory to God. He is the Word, and the Word is alive, sharper than any two-edged sword, dividing asunder soul and spirit. The Holy One of Israel, the Beloved, speaks in our spirit, bringing wisdom and joy and infinite blessing to everyone who seeks. But you must shut off your devices and listen..... We ourselves cannot make our minds still, but if we show up in the place where He may be found, his powerful stillness reigns. We are so blessed!

    AMEN!!!! Mishael.

1 John 2:27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1 Corinthians 2:10-14. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

    Amen.

The desire for Jesus is in you already. The Bible is the Word of God. Like these following scriptures show us: with your own spoken words, ask the Holy Spirit to make His home within your heart. To fill you with his Light and be your Teacher. That is His ministry to you. He is yours forever. You will know He is teaching you. He will teach you all things. Seminary & college are great, but no one can open it up and make it personal like the Holy Spirit. Open your mouth and speak: "Holy Spirit, come alongside and teach me what this passage means?"

Begin in the Gospels and stay in there until you know who Jesus is to you; what he likes; doesn't like; listen to his replies to people. HOW does he love? His words to Nicodemus were to the point and full of love...to him who seeks Him out.

    John 3

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he CANNOT SEE the kingdom of God.

4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?

5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is BORN of the Spirit, is spirit.

7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but you cannot not tell where it comes from, and where it goes: so is every one that is BORN of the (Holy) Spirit.

Everything I know was taught to me, by the Holy Spirit. He doesn't get upset if we ask him to explain things. Turn off the media, and listen for His replies. He is found by those who Seek to know more about JESUS. He is the Spirit of Jesus Christ. 3rd Person of the Godhead. Romans 1. To be his student is a very great thing!

Now...invite Him to be your Teacher.

John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in US: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. (22) And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as WE are one:

    Hello,

If you believe the Bible where it says the "three are one" then, the answer is yes.

1 John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

    Here's other supporting scripture too:

    Genesis 1:26

    John 11:6-7

    John 10:30

    John 8:19

    John 1:1

    Philippians 2:5 - 2:8

    2 Corinthians 5:19

    John 1:3

    1 John 5:7

    Matthew 28:19

    1 Peter 1:2

    2 Corinthians 13:14

    Deuteronomy 6:4

    John 14:10

    John 20:28

    1 John 5:8

    1 John 2:22-24

    Link

Beware of creative people who will try to either disregard or 'reinterpret' all the above scripture in attempt to get it to mean something else. In searching our conscience, deep down we already know what "the father and I are one" and the "three are one" means. We should all ask God directly for wisdom in understanding the scriptures and to reveal and confirm His truths to us, so we aren't deceived or mislead by false teachers. James 1:5. 1 Timothy 4:1-2.

The words Jew and Gentile can be confusing and when studying we must closely examine the context to make sure their meaning is clear. Due to centuries of mass indoctrination, in the minds of most people, the world is now divided into two groups of people - the Jews and everyone else, as if the Jews constitute the entirety of the kingdoms of Judah and Israel.

Gentile, the original words goy and ethnos refer to "peoples" or "nations" and are applied to both Israelites and non-Israelites in the Bible. It is derived from the Latin word gentilis, which means one who is not a Roman citizen. What's unique, by its meaning a single person can not be called a gentile.

Jew, the term "Jew" did not even appear until the southern kingdom of Judah was taken captive of Babylon. Jew is an abbreviated slang term for Judahite, a resident of the southern kingdom of Judah.

If you refer to those in the Judaism Abrahamic ethnic religion they do not accept Jesus as the Messiah who came 2000 years ago. The New Testament is not relevant to them.

But the Jew pronounced in Romans 2: 28-29 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Those Jews do cherish the New Testament.

    Luke Chapter 21

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until THE TIMES of the Gentiles BE FULFILLED.

    25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

There are other scriptures that back up what I'm going to say, concerning spiritual blindness and spiritual deafness. Not all prophesy has been fulfilled: concerning what happens at the very end. Such as, the Jews driven out of Israel from past wars, ARE RETURNING TO ISRAEL. When Jews live there, the Land Prospers. It's cultivated, water returns, homes are built for the returning Jews.

The World responds in fierce anger. More lethal than Hitlers misery. Read Stan Telchin's testimony. Our World demands a 2-state solution. OUR GOD has the deed to that land recorded in the Bible. Not negotiable, not ever!! GENESIS 17: 4-8. Stay focused on The Land.

World leaders and all Palestinian nations dispute that DEED. Ishmael was a son but his mother was Hagar. Gods Covenant is to Isaac whose mother was Sarah. Middle East tradition traditions is that Jewish children are the religion of their mothers. Israel's children are raised Jewish. Palestinian children are the religion of their Fathers; Ishmael. They are raised Muslim/Islamic.

Jesus instituted the New Covenant: the old Covenant with better promises. That's when Time Started Ticking for the Gentiles. Jesus wants all believers to be grafted into the one True Vine: Jesus.

I have to write a part 2 comment, so look for it a little later. Take a look at the verses above.
