    Sacha,

Jesus was born of God from the flesh of man. He never sinned. He lived on earth 33 years, in a restricted human capacity. He was resurrected into everlasting life as a God. He shed his earthly chains to sit at the right hand side of God. From caterpillar to butterfly, a human God is born.

The distinction problem stems from verses blatantly contradicting each other, negating any evidence gathered.

    FAITH need replace speculation.

    Hi Gordy

The world prefers darkness and resists truth.

John 1:9. That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

John 3:19-21 (KJV) And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

I believe both sides of salvation is equally important, The law shows we're in dying need of a savior and Christ came to fulfill that need.

I believe we need to seriously turn our focus on Christ work on the cross.

And the true pathway to salvation.

    Deception is Satans strategy,

Why do we debate about topics and try to argue it by reasoning when you may be talking to someone who's spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:13-14. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    1 John 2:27.

1 Corinthians 3:6 . I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

Our problem seems to be planting and watering, ( Preaching and teaching the gospel ).

We have seeds to sow, The Holyspirit will do his part.

    Salvation is all important.

    God bless.

    Good tidings to you Earl,

The last paragraph is helpful, but you are still speaking a language I can't identify with. I need to understand the events I'm reading about before I can grasp the symbolism. You're speaking on the scholarly symbolic side, when I want to know your literal perspective of what happens on earth. Names and countries involved, predictions, or perhaps you haven't pondered who's who yet? The prophets saw end-time events first hand, they were 'taken in the spirit' and shown every aspect of Israel's destruction. Can you speak on how these end-time battles come about according to them? Any ideas you'd like to share?

    God bless

Sister Martha, may CHRIST IN US grace us with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.

God predestinated before the world was, that creation (man) would be like him. God created us with this world set in our hearts (flesh).

Ecclesiastes 3:11 ....also he has set the world in their heart...

This was necessary so we could come to know everything in the same likeness as God knows (good and evil).

Being naturally born in the flesh (worldly) we start as ANTI-CHRIST, false prophets not knowing the truth of God, beast of the earth with now concept of the ways of the Spirit.

When Jesus died and was resurrected a new way of LIFE became possible; a way to OVERCOME and become LIKE GOD.

This is the BATTLE being fought a battle between truth and deception, love and hate, mercy and no mercy, self and selflessness, faithfulness and no faithfulness. God is the ONE and flesh is the OTHER.

THE WORD (written and living) is our means of fighting this battle and winning. None of this can be seen, we have to rely on the SPIRIT and his WORD for instructions of WAR.

Revelation is depicting this battle. We are not faithful to our creator (husband); therefore we are the WHORE. We don't know God's word; therefore, we are the false prophet. We have no love or mercy; therefore, we are BEAST. Through TRUTH; anti Christ, the false prophet and the beast are DESTROYED and we become the LIKENESS OF CHRIST.

Colossians 1:27 ...this mystery, CHRIST IN US ....

    Part 2

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

You can't use reasoning to present the Gospel. You may be able to use reasoning to present the ministry of condemnation by Presenting the 10 Commandments to show a person he's come short, but when you lay out the details of the gospel that's where you get resistant in so many ways.

    1) "A loving God will send no one to Hell".

    2) "They'll find problems with the finish work of the cross by adding to it".

    3) They'll find problems with the resurrection,

    4) And some don't have faith in salvation being a gift and you're saved by works.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

    1 Corinthians 1:18.

    Jesus says in John 16:12-14.

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Today we have many beliefs but ONE Truth! The holy spirit reveals that truth.

Instead of studying scripture to grow in truth, we "search" scripture to hold a view.

If we have the truth, it's because it was given to you by the spirit of truth which Jesus spoke of in John 16:13.

once you were saved, so you can't expect others to hold that truth without conversion.

    Study- Link

    Until next time

    GOD BLESS.

    part 1

    Matthew 21:44.

And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

There must be conviction before conversion, I believe that's why the law "Ministry of death" ( 2 Cor. 3:7-10.)

came before the gospel. It was meant to show us the weakness of the flesh. "For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: Romans 8:3.

Christianity was attacked in the beginning of the church from within as we see today.

In Acts 20:28-30. Paul warns Ephesus, Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Jude also warns us. "Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

These warnings of what would come into the church (Leaven and tares). You see the tares Matthew 13:24-30.

We often try to pluck up the tares but Jesus instruct otherwise in verses 28-29: He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

See part 2. Eyes to open ears to hear.

    Good day brother,

I thank you for your kindly post. I guess I will apologize if my post came across a little harsh. Though that was not my intent. Understanding we all may have different views on things. The most important thing is to stay focused on the Lord Jesus Christ. As long as we all have a zeal to be with the Lord and follow Him to serve our Father in Heaven on His Will. All being in one Spirit in the body of Christ.

Differences here and there about what this, or that, Scripture means are to be expected. I believe the Word of God can be so deep in some instances, maybe all, where there can be numerous things to grasp from it. Weather spiritual, literal, both, or from many aspects. I see it in that as long as the way we take something is in line with the Will of God then great.

Definitely I would only call myself a baby in Christ. There are many others here more learned than me. Though if I am able I very much enjoy conversing about the Lord peacefully. As He is my Life.

Have a wonderful day brother. Thank you again for your post.

    God Bless.

    Rawlie,

I hope this does not offend anyone. This prophecy that was given to Daniel, 70 weeks which is 70 7s = 490 years. This prophecy tells the exact year the Messiah (Jesus) arrives. ( Daniel 9:25) The 7 weeks + 3 score + 2 weeks = 69 weeks = 483 years leaving 1 week or 7 years that has been used with other verses in the Bible to create a theory about the end time.

In ( Luke 3:1-6) scripture tells us the year. Tiberius Caesar was emperor from 14-37 A.D. Pontius Pilate ruled from 26-36 A.D. so the fifteenth year of Tiberius would have been 29-31 A.D. start of John the Baptist ministry. This and the other Gospels are pretty clear with baptizing by John most likely in the fall, 40 days in the wilderness, choosing his disciples, the wedding with the wine and the first of three Passovers and his crucifixion at the third, placing it in the middle, 3 years into the 70th week.

Plain and simple math shows us if Jesus appeared in 69 weeks from the going forth of the commandment and He was cut off, crucified 3 years later that is in the middle of the 70th week. So, can you use this week at the end time? I will not post on Daniel 9:27, that will be too long, but hopefully what I have written will help your study. I made a post about what was determined in this prophecy yesterday. It has scripture you can read and decide for your own conscience the truth.

May the Holy Spirit guide your study.

Before 1900, Bibles were printed entirely in black ink. Today, a few Bibles are printed in black ink for those who prefer it or those who are colorblind and cannot read the color red. The idea for the red letters in Bibles is attributed to Louis Klopsch, owner and editor of Christian Herald Magazine.

Rob, what that says is probably true, but I think we should go back farther in time, to the methods they used after the 3rd century AD.

    Times of the End,

Who would have thought to discuss the end-time prophets during these end-times? Someone has to champion in prophesy dialog, so why not you. It's rarely discussed due to lack of depth. God prefers prophesy over tongues.

    1 Corinthians 14:5

"I would that ye all spake with tongues, but rather that ye prophesied: for greater is he that prophesieth than he that speaketh with tongues, except he interpret, that the church may receive edifying".

You shouldn't take it so hard when others let you down. Rawlie,

Matthew Chapter 24 gives a pretty detailed explanation of Daniel's 70th week.

    Seven Points about Prophecy:

    1) All prophecies concerning the last days are based upon Daniel 9:24-27, which presents the 70th week of Daniel.

    2) The 70th Week of Daniel is divided into four sections:

    1) Pains of birth: first 3 years of the Tribulation.

    2) Pivotal point: the mid-point of the Tribulation.

    3) Perils of tribulation: the last 3 years of the Great Tribulation.

    4) Promise of his coming: the Second Coming of Christ.

    3) Matthew

    Pains of birth: Matthew:24:4-14

    Pivotal point: Verse 15

    Perils of tribulation: Verses 16-28

Promise of his coming: Verses 29-31

    4) End time prophecies are centered on the Jewish People.

    5) Matthew took his outline of the 70th week of Daniel from Mark Chapter 13, and they both recorded the Olivet discourse.

    6) The misunderstanding of the prophecies of the last days is based upon combining Luke's account with Matthew's and Mark's account as if they are the same message.

    7) Luke's version includes some of the same information only given at a different time, and covers different stages of the 70th week of Daniel.

    1. In Luke 21:5-6, Jesus was still in the Temple area

    2. Luke 21:7 records different questions. When will these things be? What sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

    3. Luke covers the first part of the pains of birth in Luke 21:8-11

Luke 21:12 "before all of these things"

Luke 21:25-28 the promise of his coming

I have an awesome chart but this website will not allow me to share it. If there is a way, I don't know how.
  • Jesse - In Reply on Genesis 1:1 - 3 years ago
    Donna,

That is correct. It is not necessary that a believer attend a church to get into heaven. A person gets to enter into heaven by being born of God's Spirit, not by how often they attend church or if they ever attended.

I'm not saying that church is not important. To me, church is like a spiritual hospital. A believer attends church to be fed spiritually and to fellowship together with other believers.

There is a verse in the book of Hebrews, Hebrews 10:25 that says " Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together."

This is spoken, not to people who have stopped coming to fellowship or don't go to church. It is speaking to people who are continuing to fellowship.

    He is saying don't leave off from assembling ourselves together, as the manner of some is;

You see, some have already dropped out. It is the encouragement for those who are coming, and who are fellowshipping. It's for those who are still coming, who waiver, and every once in a while have doubts and are weak at times and feel like dropping out.

Well, we are to consider one another. Be perceptive about provoking one another to do things that are right in the eyes of the Lord.

And when you sense someone possibly wanting to drop out, it says but exhort one another, encourage:

Without getting too technical, in the Greek text, what that says is that by assembling yourselves together, you are encouraging.

Being faithful to do what the Lord wants you to do, without saying anything, is a ministry of encouragement.

Church fellowship is important, but not required to get to heaven. Jesus commanded us as believers to follow Him. If He is putting it on our heart to go to church, then we go.

Matthew 10:33 - But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

Currently there are anti-Christs denying the divinity of Jesus Christ and they can't handle it when they are exposed. Christians should lovingly share the gospel to the lost, including people who assume they're Christians, but aren't. There are so-called Christians who don't believe in Christ attempting to deceive others into believing Christ is just a man and not divine, despite what the Bible says. It seems no amount of sharing the truth from the scripture will change someone's mind, but you can still pray for their soul and for their hearts to become unhard and listen to the truth. Christians should have the full armor of God on and sometimes the truth needs to be spoken directly to penetrate through the lies and deceipt of the anti-Christs. These people denounce Jesus, denounce the trinity, denounce scripture, and reject much of the foundations of Christianity from God's Word. Those who have never encountered the anti-Christs, good for you, but be on your guard, because some lurk even on this website and are probably reading this right now and feeling convicted and a guilty conscience from the Holy Spirit. Speaking the truth from the Bible is probably like heaping hot coals on their heads, Romans 12:20.

Jesus is Lord and God, because the Bible says He is. Your feelings and false assumptions cannot prove otherwise. Have a great day!
