If you've said something incorrectly or inappropriately to someone, then go to that person & ask for forgiveness.

If you've hurt someone or committed some sin against that person, first confess your sin to God & receive His forgiveness through His Son Jesus Christ - then go to the one whom you've wronged & confess your error & make restitution if necessary to prove your sorrow.

If you've broken a law & you know that the authorities are after you for the crime, then the right thing to do is to present yourself to them as one admitting to it in a sorrowful manner.

In all these things, one has to humble oneself, admit to the error & seek forgiveness & make restitution. These are the steps towards being honest, humble & receiving peace in your soul about the matter. We all make errors in our lives - God does forgive us readily, but the hardest thing is for us to admit the error & act in humility, which in the natural man, goes against our pride & self justification.

Genesis 2:1-3: "Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made."

If you're referring to God "resting on the seventh day (of His creating Work)", we understand that means that He ceased from His work, i.e. He didn't get tired from all His hard work, rather, all that He purposed to do in establishing the worlds & all that is in & on them, was now complete & He refrained from further creating. However, this shouldn't imply that God's Hand was withheld from doing anything else in the future, but in establishing the worlds, they were completed.

I have a crooked, short, peach tree in my backyard. This summer i was cutting the grass and found one little peach! So ,i bent over picked it up ,and it was absolutely, the best peach I ever had. I remind myself of this when I get depressed, even though it was a small piece of fruit, it was there. I will try to save this tree next year and hope that it will bear even more fruit next year! This tree is a good illustration of my life in a world that is without Christ! I hope that I will bear more fruit in my life, not because of what I do , but what Christ has already done for me! God Bless you!

Thank you i wondered if the covering they had was eternal without corruption and then the body was to return to dust and the animals returneb to dust since they were formed from the earth was this skin out on and taken off ir was it actually skin that they wore that was take to the ground to teturn to dust.,thank you so much for your responce. Blessings

Donna, my understanding is that Adam & Eve had natural skin just as we have (the epidermis, dermis & hypodermis), yet prior to their downfall into sin, that skin, as all their organs, would have never corrupted to bring on sickness, disease or death.

With the inception of sin into their lives, their conviction of it, & subsequent attempt to hide from God, showed that that sin also brought the sense of bodily shame, which they never had before. The eyes & minds of those once pure & holy were now subject to the effects of sin, & one of those effects was the sense of shame & need for covering. They initially used fig leaves for covering but the Lord gave them something more durable by way of animal skins. And this in the larger picture showed them that animals could now also be killed, whether for their skin/fur value or later on, in sacrifice & for food.

I am happy that the people who were foretold of at the end of the Book of Daniel are rising up. The Book was shut up, but now it is speaking to hearts.

We have to preach it to people who have grown up with a herd mentality. Perhaps like the swine that ran over a cliff and were drowned (as witnessed of Jesus).

We have to preach it the way Jesus would have it. It's one thing to sit on the mountaintop and See these things revealed. It's another to go down amongst the people and make it plain to them.

There are people who have already sworn allegiance to Antichrist. They may think they will get fame and glory; Antichrist is Not a team player.

Book of Daniel: some things are past; but other things are rapidly appearing. We are living in a time when things are HAPPENING in the world/the news, but it is barely being reported to the public. It is given to us to sit in the watch tower, see it, and report it to the those who will carry it: pastors, teachers, prophets, evangelist's, that will rapidly alert the sea of people who will hear it.

I'm talking about people who are set on going with Jesus when he returns. HOW do you stir people to stand up and follow Jesus, the King? YOU LIFT UP THE STANDARD! You walk forward.

Those who can see, need to herald it.

    Jesus is returning soon.

The signs in Matthew 24 are marching forward with purpose, speed.

Heralding is NO more important as those with feet, or no feet! that publish it to those who are going over a cliff.

Evangelism is the Bible with feet. The intercessors, guide those feet. Is anybody organizing the prayer warriors? Do we really understand what Spiritual Warfare is?

Jesus sits at the right Hand of God, this very minute making Intercession for ALL SAINTS.

Let us do what we know to do. Watch, pray, GO; keep the wedding dress and oil in a backpack. Obey God and obey the law. No zealots needed. Be wise, be in order. Go.

The events mentioned of what will happen to the jews have already happened. We are now living in Revelation 12, 13, and chapter 14. The three angles message is about to go forth after the image of the beast is revealed, and all is made to worship the beast whose names are not written in the lamb's book of life. Let him that has wisdom count the number of the beast. Daniel chapter 7 and verse 25 identifies what the antichrist would do. Revelation 12 verse 17 tells us who the real saints of God are and who the final church is. Revelation chapter 19 verse 10 tells us they have the gift of prophecy. The people of God in the last days are not a nation, they are saints from every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. The apostate churches will bring Sunday to the supreme court of the united states and pass it into law then all nations will follow. That is why we are called to worship him who made the earth and the sky and the fountains of waters( Revelation 14 verse 6 and seven).

Also, Exodus chapter 20 verses 8-11 tells us who is the creator and why it is important to take time out to glorify Him. Many today will be caught off guard because they are focused on the wrong things.

I wonder when God clothed Adam and Eve with skins was this the skins of animals. Was this our outer covering.
  • Chris - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 4 years ago
This Psalm was clearly written by David but because of the mention of the Jerusalem's gates & walls, a city already built, when it wasn't, seems to indicate that David was looking forward to the day when all this would become fact, even the thrones of judgement - the thrones of David would be set there.

As well, the scribes have classed this Psalm as a Song of Degrees & usually this means that it would be a Psalm that would be recited as worshippers were on their journey to Jerusalem or the Temple. Reading the Psalm, with the oft mentioned word, "Peace", makes it plausible that this could be one of about 15 Psalms that were so used for that purpose.

I believe races/cultures/regions were created from Genesis 11:8-9.

It says got changed their languages and scattered them across the earth- that's 2 things spoken of. We also know a culture comes with a language, like Thai people speaking Thai language or Russians in Russia speaking Russia. Therefore, since we already know the language and location was scattered I think we can safely assume each was given a distinctive culture and a distinctive appearance too- Asians in Asia, Europeans in Europe, etc. It logically makes sense this is what created the races, even though the Bible does not specifically state it.

God created Adam and Eve with enough genetic information within themselves to eventually bring about the many differences we now see in people. Actually there is only one race, human, with many families, tribes and nations. As time passed and people multiplied, small variations became greater. Different combinations of genetic information were enhanced by unique contributions from each parent to the next generation.

In Genesis 10, after the flood, we read that the whole earth was populated by the descendants of Shem, Ham and Japheth, the three sons of Noah. By that time in history, each of their beautiful wives must have had strikingly different appearances.

In Genesis 11, the LORD confounds the speech of the people in response to their building the tower of Babel. This caused them to scatter into separate tribes and nations which by separation would naturally bring about even greater differences in genetic characteristics.

And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. ( Revelation 5:6-10)

The penalty for adding to, or subtracting truths written in the Bible.

    Book of Revelation 22

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall ADD unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall TAKE AWAY from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Mishael comment: this a strong warning For all of us; me too.
