Returned from Ireland, the creation of God is their! The countryside along the ocean shores, what a grand place! It will always remind me of the power of God and the love of Christ.I am old now, waiting to meet Him. Wondering what will be ahead of me, Knowing his promises,I will know and see what his grace means for eternity! He says.Abide in me,learn of me and know that I AM that I AM. HIS GLORY!

In just the third verse of the Genesis God said let there be light singular . and then in verse 14, 15, 16 , God created the lights of the firmament, the Sun , The Moon and the stars..so what kind of "light" he is talking about in verse 3 three..?

God the Father, God the Son God the Holy Spirit. Job 33:4 The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth

Sorry Chas--I guess I clicked the wrong reply button. I was replying to someone who was questioning the "clean unclean" foods.

Peter: It is mentioned in Hebrews 1:2 that God made the worlds. Hebrews 11:3 mentions Through faith we understand the worlds were framed by the word of God, we know that definition of faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things unseen. There is not any place in the bible that talks of life on other worlds that were created, I'm not saying there is not but God does not reveal

The earth has faith declared by many, yet complete submission is trusting Gods mercy above want of anything. Trust without our own understanding is required and without knowledge. Gods mercy is only viable in his Ram substitute.

PRAISE GOD!!! Do today for Him. Do not be concerned about youwatch, without asking Him for help. If you do, He will guide you like He did His Son Jesus. The evilness stays away. If Satan comes close-- God comes closer. Seek God with all your heart and watch His Loving Light Surround You. Don't Let Go!!! Watch-Listen- Walk With His Strength!!! Amen.

Thank you for your replies. I appreciate it and agree with what you have said and I have also since carefully read this chapter I see that He created the stars and I believe life could exist on some of the planets around the stars somewhere If they find it it won't matter to me as I don't see it conflicting with anything in the Bible. But God doesn't mention everything So, I'll not add 2 it.

We have to renew our minds to what God's word says. The just shall live by faith. God is good.

What the preacher actually said was that "scientists are trying to find life on other planets to prove evolution but they will never find life". I don't C Y a preacher would say or talk about preach such things. I mean, it is absurd I appreciate your reply and information Thanks again

Peter I myself am a preacher of the Word of God, and it can be misinterpreted for sure when we operate in the flesh and not by the Spirit of God. Many who proclaim to be profits and preachers of God are anything but that. The Word of God states that the devil himself, and his ministers are transformed into angels of light. I'm certain the Holy Spirit is showing you these things to help you Peter

The anointing of GOD my Holy Father is not by reading, nor by giving or taking of filthy lucre that ye men may lie in darkness or be told what to say: but is given as spiritual discernment through this coming and raising again of Jesus Christ from the dead. For it is written of me, The darkness hides not from thee: but the night shines as the day: the darkness and the light ARE both alike TO THEE.

Chas check Deu. 14:3-20. A list of all that is good bad for YOU. There is no sin to God fo0r He created all on the 6th day He looked everything was very good. However the scavengers were NOT to be consumed because they can contaminate your body make you sick. The abomination is to your body. He sent you a menu pointed out that that was not to be consumed. Your choice.
  • Sally on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Jesus is God s way to God. if you believe in Jesus Christ you re not condemned and have eternal life. Faith comes from the word of God. People are attacking God s word by saying the Bible doesn t really mean what it says. God means what he says and says what he means.

God is total Love. No Love so strong as in Him. He Protects us as you would your child. He gives Strength when we are weak. He listens when we are alone. If we feel out of control He is giving us a straight way to go. He is our Creator. He knows us inside out. LISTEN NOW! He wants you to know Him. Listen, before it is too late!!! He Loves You!!!
  • Patty Tozi on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Yes. The Bible is truth of who we are and who created us. Is there any truth in this world? The world evolves around evilness. Any situation in this sinful world turns to Satans ways, unless you are in God's Light. Protected at all times He will never leave your side. A situation that looks so bad is always a opposite problem from the world ways-- to our Heavenly Father's way. Stop...Think!!!

Thank you for your reply. I truly appreciate it. My concern is that preachers in the past have miss interpreted the Bible and then that became the bases 4 negative things. This preacher may be doing the same thing I was also concerned about a few other things. I prefer just readings from the Bible. I take it the way it is written but enjoy sermons and hymns and church when I go. Thanks again

Peter, The Book of Genesis and all throughout Scripture states that God created the heavens and the earth, plus the fullness thereof. The Gospel of John states the same thing in Chapter 1. If you indeed heard a preacher speak those things, it was foolishness, and has zero biblical support. If that preacher even entertains the thought of evolution, he is a false teacher
  • Chas - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Please read your Bible without the opinions of others. Truth is found there.

God created all with maturity...the rocks with their minerals that are the earth's foundations, light from the distant stars He made to be seen from earth immediately plants came with their seed included every creeping creation came fully equipped to multiply as did every species of the water, every winged animal that flies, every creature of the earth, as well as mankind created in His image.
  • Peter on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
I was wondering does the Bible say anything about whether there is life on other planets or not because i heard a preacher say that if they find life it proves evolution I am not sure of what the bible says but I don't think it says anything on that. i don't see why it has to but I don't know.
  • Darrell Thatcher - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
Since there was no death before sin, Romans 5:12, how long God took to get to the Garden of Eden is not the problem. According to the bible, life began 6000 years ago. God said it took six days, so I believe it took six days.
  • I, even I, am that Michael Isaac Dale: on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
See him O man? Deceivers accept no truth. For Christ is the truth and deceivers are antichrist. The Scriptures say not, one day is with the proud as a thousand years: But that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. and, All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
  • Mark Conway - In Reply on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
In the hebrew text, the word which was translated into English as 'day' can also be translated as 'eon'. Also, a day on Earth is twenty four hours. The Earth takes twenty four hours to rotate, the Sun takes 25 days to rotate, the Milky Way Galaxy takes 225-250 million years to rotate. Before the Earth was created, why would a day refer to twenty four hours?
  • Sally on Genesis 1 - 5 years ago
I can't accept man's opinion that this world was made thousands or billions of years. One day is like a thousand years doesn't apply this chapter. God says six days.
