Part 3 of 3 If a thief today does not repent and change his wicked ways and does not follow Acts 2 38 and he dies still in the sin of thievery he is not going to heaven. Deuteronomy 25 16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God. In the scriptures you will further find more things that God hat. 1 Corinthians 6 9 10 Know ye not that unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. These are just a few of many sins and things that God does not like.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Terry In one of my many post, I stated that whether or not Eve received her instructions from God himself or from Adam she still did not obey God s word. She disobeyed and with that she gave her husband to eat of that tree then the curses fell.

Insight777, Eden was one particular place, Gen. 22, and 23 say, God them away and placed Cherubims, and flaming swords at the east of Garden of Eden, to keep them away. Chatauna, God did not put Adam in charge of teaching Eve the Word of God, they both communed with Him. Chatauna, so did Jesus lie when He to the thief on the cross "today, you will be with me in Paradise ", there is no evidence that the thief spoke in tongues while he was on the cross. "god s with a small g means judge. when the serpent said "you will be like gods ", he meant that they will know good from evil, because judges judge and supposedly know between good, and evil.

I think the reference to "gods " in Gen 3 5 means Satan and his cohorts, fallen angells.

Part 1 of 4 Hello Insight777 Yes, I asked if you are saved. When a person is truly saved that person just take things on faith. If it is written, it is so. If you think I am judging anyone then you are mistaken. I am merely stating the word of God. Hebrews 9 27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment This scripture comes out of the same epistle in which you are quoting. The gauntlet is thrown down. People either get saved under this dispensation following Acts 2 38 or they are lost except I believe the innocence of children under the age of accountability and the unborn . There is no way around this. We can debate all day, but the truth still remains the truth.
  • Insight 777 on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Chatauna, you asked if I am saved. Does Jesus lie? Jesus said, I DO NOT JUDGE but if I did it would be the will of my father, GOD. John 8.15 Ye judge after the flesh I judge no man. 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me. Jesus is saying he does not make the decisions as to who is saved and who is not saved. Only on Judgement day will God make those decisions and Jesus will carry out the verdict given to him by God. God makes the decisions and gives the orders to Jesus. So Jesus is saying to everyone, I judge no man. Even the disciples that he loved will be judged by God in the future at a date unknown by Jesus and their salvation fate is in Gods hands not his. I refuse to glorify myself above Jesus and say that I am saved. If Jesus does not know my fate how can I? Psalms 7.11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. Hebrews 12.23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, 2 Timothy 4.1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the deadat his appearing and his kingdom When we meet on Judgement Day we will ALL be told if we are saved or not. May Gods mercy be on us.

Part 2 of 2 Insight 777 let me ask this, Are you saved? Have you followed Acts 2 38? See I know that Eden is real. I have been filled with the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the spirit of God give utterance. I am not bragging because it is not of my goodness that God filled me, but it is because of God s goodness, mercy, and grace that I live in Christ Jesus. The Bible is truth. John 17 17 Sanctify them through thy truth thy word is truth . This statement is not saying that only a portion of the word is true. This statement is saying that the whole word of God is truth. I believe the whole Bible not just a portion of it or a part of it that suits me. I believe the whole thing.

Part 1 of 2 Hello Insight 777 Eden is a place all by itself. If Earth was Eden then why hasn t anyone found the tree of life? If someone found the tree of life then there would be no death or sickness. When Adam and Eve were kicked out of the Garden of Eden where did they go? Is Earth a place of peace? We have wars and rumor of wars, murders, thieves, crime upon the innocent the list goes on and on. Also in regard to Paul speaking about his encounter it still talks about paradise and is spoken of in Revelation 2 7 where the tree of life is then it speaks about the tree of life again in Revelation 22 2. Then in Isaiah 42 5 Thus saith God the LORD he that created the heavens, and stretched them out he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein?

One more thing, Insight 777, Psalms 34, if I can say it like this, they blessed who, trust in God, Psalms 34 7 "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them ". I would like to think that there are angels nereby me along with Jesus Christ spirit on the inside of me as well as in his eyes is in every place looking at everything.

EDEN is EARTH, all of it. All of earth was made for mankind, Adam and Eve. Eden is not just one spot where they were not allowed anywhere else as if they were in a prison. Is earth hidden from view? The GARDEN of Eden was earth at peace. Now earth still exists but all over the earth there is evil so it is no longer a garden, a restful beautiful place at peace. It is now just land where man toils and fights over rights of ownership and resources.

Reading 2 Corinthians chapter 12 it shows that Paul is talking about an experience that a man told Paul about 14 years earlier. Paul makes the point that the man was glorifing himself while claiming these new revelations that are not backed by any other apostles actual teachings. He could not tell if this man was in the body, of christ, or not meaning he was not sure these were accurate words of God and stated only God knows. Paul passed along the information but did not glorify himself while telling people about it because he had his doubts if it was true or not. He did not want to be a fool if the story the man told was false. This was an incredible claim the man had made above the measure of the abundance of revelations that Paul knew were true. It did not fit to the teachings of Jesus. Verse 12 shows that followers of Jesus had been shown signs and Paul was aware of that. So he did glorify the man by putting his claim in scripture and telling people about it. He did not want to be the judge if this new information was right or wrong lest he be judged infirm in the truth. Since Paul had his doubts so do I. The lesson is listen and accept only if the new revelations fit the whole body of the teachings of Jesus, the true words of God. People that want to glorify themselves instead of God are probably not telling the truth.

In addition to my 3 part comment, the whole conversation started with you doubting the existence of Eden. You stated that you cannot even see it from space, However, even from space there is no area seen on earth unoccupied by man, full of trees and animals, that is surrounded by cherubims with flaming swords. It is my belief that Eden symbolically represents the Earth at Peace. Man, sinning by turning away from God, began to tell lies, placing blame where it did not belong . So I was merely informing you that God can hide anything from anybody he wants. There is a realm in which man cannot see unless God wants him to. So either Eden is here on Earth or in a heavenly realm it still is invisible to the naked eye of man, unless God wants him to see it. However, its existence is very real because the Bible says so. Through faith I believe in what the word says. If it were not so then God would not have allowed Moses to write about it.

Part 3 of 3 Let s talk about Eden. I stated even if you say that Eden is still here on Earth God can hide anything from man s eyes. If God wanted us to find Eden, with all the technology we have today I am quite sure we would see it. However, sense we cannot see it then God does not want it or that angel to be found. The reason why I stated that Eden and the Tree of Life was in heaven was because the tree of life was in the midst of Eden guarded by the Cherubims, Genesis 3 24 So he drove out the man and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life . The same tree that is spoken of here is spoken of in Revelation 22 2. Now this is after God has destroyed this heaven and this earth and brought down a new heaven and a new earth. So tell me where did I make up something? Is this not in the Bible? I did not fantasy this?

Part 2 of 3 Man has been in outer space. Man has travelled to the Moon. Have anyone reported that they see Heaven and the angels? Those people that say that they have seen Angels, they only saw them because they were permitted to see them and know who they are. Satan is a spirit. He walks to and fro, Job 1 7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and from in the earth, and from walking up and down in it . Have you seen a physical form of Satan? He is in that place, or realm in which we do not see unless God allows it.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Insight 777, The reason why I chose the word realm is because a realm is a region, sphere, area. There is an area in which we do not see unless God allows it. There are at least three heavens, 2 Corinthians 12 2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, whether in the body, I cannot tell or whether out of the body, I cannot tell God knoweth such an one caught up to the third heaven . There are creatures that exist right now that we do not see. They are in Heaven flying around day and night praising the Lord. Revelation 4 8 read it . There are angles that go back and forth up on the Earth we do not see them unless God allows it, Genesis 28 12 And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it . These things exist. Angels walk amongst us we do not know it unless God allows them to reveal themselves, Hebrews 13 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers for thereby some have entertained angels unawares . So tell me Insight 777, have I created a fantasy? This is what the Bible states. I did not make this up.

Hello Chatauna, with due respect of your zeal for scripture I still must comment that you are not explaining scripture logically. If Eden is hidden from sight in a mystery realm where man can never see it then WHY did God place cherubims with flaming swords around it to protect it? If man can never see it and it is now in heaven with God and the angels then it is not necessary to protect it with a threat of destruction by cherubims if it is entered. Being hidden in heaven would be enough protection. Besides God said Eden was on Earth and did NOT say that it would be removed from earth or removed from sight and placed in a different realm. The hidden mystery realm of Eden you speak of is just your imagination because it is not stated so in the Bible. You are creating magical fantasy to make your erroneous beliefs fit scripture. The realm where God resides is spiritual and can not be seen. Gods message in Genesis chapter 3 is Eden is on Earth and needs to be protected. Understanding parables must not conflict with the information given in the Bible.

Hello Arlin Farriester You are absolutely correct. Jesus Christ is the tree of life. However, in the Garden of Eden there was literally a tree of life that bared fruit to eat. Out of the mouth of two or three a witness is established. We find here in Genesis that Moses wrote about the tree of Life. Then we find in Revelation 22 2 that it talks about that same tree of life. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He is the foundation in which to build on. He is God all by himself there is no other God besides him. He is our life s blood. We are born again through the following of Acts 2 38. He is that tree that those who take on the name of Jesus Christ through Acts 2 38 become branches of that tree.

Part 3 of 3 Even if you wanted to say that Eden was still somewhere on this earth, God can hide anything he wants in a realm in which we have no sight or access to. Jesus Christ himself was in the midst of a mob and walked right past them, Luke 4 28 thru 30 John 8 59 John 10 39. So remember we are dealing with God, he is Omnipotent all powerful being. He can move mountains, destroy cities, heal the sick, raise the dead, save a people, He can definitely hide EDEN. Remember Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.

Part 2 of 3 Summing up the story The city of Tyre Tyrus was a thriving Phoenician city in ancient times, a source of economic abundance and trading. God pronounced judgment upon the city of Tyre. The surviving inhabitants after Babylon s invasion moved all their possessions and families to a little isle just off of Tyre. They thought they d be safe on their little island. However, according to historians Alexander the Great about 250 years after Babylon destroyed Tyrus, he finished it off like the scriptures stated in Ezekiel 26 3 thru 5. Tyrus had become evil and vain. They thought of themselves as Gods. Because of these God destroyed them. The reason why Eden is mentioned here in the scriptures is because the writer was trying to give the reader a picture of just how beautiful the city of Tyrus was. God was letting them know, if I can say it like this, Hey you guys are just as beautiful as the Garden of Eden. Some of the same stones that Eden has you all have, and yet you all are not satisfied, now you think of yourself as a God, but you are not. You are just men . If you read the whole chapter and then read in Revelation this Eden that is spoken of here in Ezekiel is the same in Revelation Chapter 21 and this is in heaven. These same scripture have a prophetic connotation to them concerning Israel.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Insight 777 The reason why man cannot see the Garden of Eden or the tree of life is because it is in a realm in which we cannot see it. There is a spirit realm in which God and his angels dwell that we do not see, unless God allows us. If God did not want Adam and Eve to get back into the Garden of Eden then why would he allow his descendants to go there? The reason why God did not allow man in the first place to stay in the garden was because now man knew good and evil and God did not want him living forever with this knowledge, Genesis 3 22. Eden and the Tree of Life is in Heaven, the realm that we do not see, Revelation 22 2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations . This is the same tree of life that was in the garden, Genesis 2 9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food the tree of life also in the midst of the garden and the tree of knowledge of good and evil .

So he drove out the man and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life. If one believes the story is literal and not a parable, where is EDEN? The earth is real, man and woman are real and I believe cherubims are real. God did not destroy Eden but instead placed Cherubims to protect it, so if Eden is a real place then man should be able to see it today from a distance. The cherubims would also be visable. In Ezekiel 28 12 19 the prophet Ezekiel the "son of man " sets down God 's word against the king of Tyre the king was the "seal of perfection ", adorned with precious stones from the day of his creation, placed by God in the garden of Eden on the holy mountain as a guardian cherub. But the king sinned through wickedness and violence, and so he was driven out of the garden and thrown to the earth, where now he is consumed by God 's fire The Eden in Ezekiel appears to be located in Lebanon by some scholars. Juris Zarins believes that the Garden of Eden was situated at the head of the Persian Gulf, where the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers run into the sea, from his research on this area using information from many different sources, including Landsat images from space. However, even from space there is no area seen on earth unoccupied by man, full of trees and animals, that is surrounded by cherubims with flaming swords. It is my belief that Eden symbolically represents the Earth at Peace. Man, sinning by turning away from God, began to tell lies, placing blame where it did not belong. Adam did not want to take responsibility for his wrongdoing. The peaceful harmony of Eden, Earth at Peace, can not exist with men that do not tell the truth. So the earth will never be at peace until the return of Jesus because there are instruments of war, represented by the cherubims, protecting Peace. It is ironic that on earth now Peace is protected by War or the threat of it and Life by Death.

Hello Insight 777 I would like to make a correction. Adam did not have to eat off of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Adam chose to eat off of the tree. He chose to follow his wife and disobey God. Then after their eyes were opened and God asked them who told them that they were naked, Adam started playing the blame game. He immediately stated that the woman that God gave him gave him to eat. If I can say it like this, Adam blamed God first for given him Eve, and then he blamed Eve for given him the fruit. He passed the buck before claiming that he ate it. God had commanded them not to eat off of the tree of good and evil. They both disobeyed the word of God. In the end, they both had a choice to either say no or yes, especially after the one who created them told them not to eat off of that tree.
  • Insight 777 on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Eve was the first to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil because Eve represents the mother of GENERATIONS. Eve represents future life of mankind through birth. The knowledge of good and evil is advanced knowledge that should only belong to God. This advanced knowledge was not immediately attained by man, it grew over the GENERATIONS of Mankind, over the centuries. To procreate these generations of people, Adam also had to eat the fruit of knowledge of good and evil . This knowledge is often used for good as new methods are discovered to heal the sick for example. However, the miracles of knowledge are also used in evil ways such as the building of advanced killing machines and new methods of war with nuclear bombs. This is knowledge that should only belong to GOD not man.

Hello Everyone First let me say this, the Bible is broken up into seven dispensations of time. God has always had one way of salvation under each dispensation. These passages of scriptures fall up under the First Dispensation which is Innocence. This begins with the creation of Adam and is extended to the expulsion from the Garden of Eden. The salvation for man at this time was that he, Adam, was not to eat off of the tree of knowledge of good and evil for in that day he should surely die. Adam and Eve were free individuals that were in a state of innocence. They had the power of choice, whether or not to obey God. They chose to disobey God s commandment or his word. Before the end of this dispensation we find that Eve was tempted to eat of the tree by the serpent Satan . She ate of the forbidden fruit and then gave her husband, Adam, and he ate also. Then their eyes were opened to the fact that they were naked, Genesis 3 10. Judgment on sin was made and they were driven out of the Garden of Eden.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
In addition to my 3 part response, I do not know why God did not kill the serpent this is a question only God can answer. If we go with the fact that the serpent was Satan then he cannot die. Remember he was an angel in heaven with a beautiful voice. Therefore, we can only deduce it was not time for him to be put away. He will meet his end later during the tribulation period, Revelation 20 2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years . Revelation 20 10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever .

Part 3 of 3 Why did God put the tree there? Once again I do not know. Satan exploited Eve s words against her and lied. God does see everything. Proverbs 15 3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good . One can only deduce that God wanted to see how obedient they would be to his word? Like now, God is watching everything. He gave man a free will to make good decisions and yet man has felled time and time again. God does not want to force anyone to follow him or his word. He wants you to freely follow him and obey his word. However, if you do not there will be consequences. Sow a man soweth that shall he also reap, Galatians 6 7. Woe unto those who are left during the tribulation.
  • Evangelist Chatauna Robinson on Genesis 3 - 10 years ago
Part 2 of 3 I do not know why God did not forgive them right then and there. This is an answer only God himself can answer. However, I will tell you this we are up under Grace because back then in the Old Testament, God did not play around. When he said do something and you did not do it in many cases he punished with a vengeance. Thank God for mercy and grace now.

Part 1 of 3 Hello Russel2709 Adam was responsible for teaching Eve his wife about the Word of God. Adam told Eve what God has stated. This is a type and shadow of us today. God has put in his word what we are to do to be saved. He has endowed men and women to teach the people. If they do not obey, just like Eve and Adam then they will suffer the consequences of their actions. Eve disobeyed God s word, whether God told her directly or not the word was still God s word. She disobeyed the rules. You are right Adam could have turned down Eve, but he did not. One might deduce that he loved her. She came from him. She was a part of his very being. What do some people do for love? You see it today, how crazy people can get for love. This is why now you have to save yourself from this untoward generation Acts 2 40.
