While reading the beginning of the chapter when the serpent spoke to Eve I had to wonder did the serpent have legs

He creates fear of man in animals so that he may not gather them again, and gives them as food to be eaten from now on, so if you like a burger now and then don't be alarmed, God ordained it way back then.

Dear grant, the original Hebrew says let us create man in our image and likeness. This is why we believe God to be three in one. There are not multiple beings talking but more like the different sides of God speaking. When we were created in his image it is believed we take on the characteristics of being multi layered like God. I don't understand why we christian insist to go against the word. Our thoughts and ways are not GOD and all we have to do is to obey. The problem is we try to reason out because we think that it is good but with GOD..it is not so.We take one verse and say,how about huldah,deborah,mirriam etc. etc. but can we support a verse that can say we are correct? I'm quite shocked that people are reading Isaiah 14 and believing that Lucifer refers to Jesus! If we read the context of the chapter we see that if you believe this then you 1. Believe Jesus brought sin here. 2. Jesus weakened the nations. 3. Has caused all the destruction and death. 4. Will be destroyed by the Father.
READ in context! The devil is so much smarter than us, so smart he makes many believe that he is God and Jesus is the devil! There was a literal meaning to this chapter, but also a spiritual meaning which points towards the great controversy between Jesus Christ and satan: this same lie that he told Eve he is STILL promoting; Genesis 3:5.

In verse 14 says that snakes shall eat dust all the days of thy life. To my knowlege snakes do not eat dust. Why? If the bible was correct, snakes would be eating dust. I find this to be false. Eating dust means eating dust and snakes do not eat dust.
