How did Cain find a wife when at that point Eve was the only woman on earth? She didn 't have other sons and daughters until after Cain supposedly knew his wife.

I wonder, why the name of true God Jehovah has been removed from his word "the bible "?....Lord its just a title, like doctor or attorney, its not a name, the son of Jehovah has a name... "Jesuschrist "...so why remove the name of his allmighty father?

Verse 23 and 24 are an example of how our FEAR of the Lord will convict us unto repentance. Lamech felt so convicted of his own sins he felt as if a mark was placed on him as it was Cain, but Lamech 's mark would require anyone who slay him to actually receive 70 and seven fold the punishment because he felt his sins were so much greater than those of Cain. It truly is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the LIVING GOD.

In each dispensation God gave a commandment. The only commandment given was in Genesis where he told Adam and Eve not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which they broke. Cain was the first murderer and there was no law given. Adam was the beginning of the transgression of sin. But sin grew and there lays the flood the second commandment.

Only man was created by God 's hand in Genesis 2, but everything else created by word. So our image close to God than all other creation even though they all flawless.

I do not get it, god favoured Abel over Cain, the one god favoured namely Abel was killed. Now I beg to question, why the one god favoured got murdered, why didn 't god protect him? So what are we to deduce from all this? God 's favoured was murdered, god did not bring him back to life but instead populated the world through a murderer, a sinner. Whose fault we are the way we are today? We read that Jesus brought Lazarus back from the dead, Lazarus and sinner like any other in his day, yet god the creator did not do the same for someone he favoured. This is my conclusion, the bible was hijacked by Europeans, edited based on their own world view and shoved at as. King with thrones, long bearded white man on a throne, white angels etc. It is important to see through all the editing and see where this is all man made, god does not behave the way it says he does in the Bible.

Michaels comment on James is exactly right. Secondly, I have no problem with any time frame that would otherwise be explained by science. God is the creator, and furthermore, science proves it. As for any "gap theory ", there is none. If you truely believe God created everything, then surely you must agree that all time was created as well. Then it is clearly evident a preceived age of the earth and heaven was created in its current state. Remember this, all books of science will eventually be re written simply because they are flawed to begin with. That is, proven wrong or simply outdated and in a constant need of updating. The KJV on the other hand, is the devine, preserved true Word of God. Lastly, look at what is called the 1000 yard model of our solar system. The sun may be represented by an eight inch sphere, then that means the earth is the size of a pepper corn at an appropriate distance to scale. There are stars out there that are nearly as large as our solar system. Thinking of how small that peppercorn is, now think of how small your brain is when set to scale in this respect. It does not even measure. So, to say that anything less than God created man in his own image, is absolutly insane. Genesis is the beginning, with out any flaw whatsoever. Seek God in this matter, and you will find the comfort you need for this and every day.

I believe the answer to these anomalies lies within the order of verses in Chapter 1 and 2. Taken at face value, God creates man and woman at the end of chapter 1 and tells them to go forth and multiply. He then creates the Garden of Eden and Adam opening the possibility that the garden was God 's grand terrarium experiment for Adam and Eve. This theory actually aligns well with a key Biblical precept, which is that God established special bloodlines for the Jewish people. Therefore, it 's quite possible that other people were roaming the earth before Adam and Eve existed.

there several points that makes me wonder what is going on with the bible. The mark of Cain is one that makes me think why would Cain be worried that some other people would cause him harm? Why did God not question that, but instead,gave him a mark to protect him? Where did his wife come from? I don 't think that Adam and Eve other children is the answer. I am not sure of what would be the answer but I feel that there is something going on that have been reviled to us.

What was the reason why Cain slew his brother Abel? That means some of the things some of us are experiencing today, started in biblical time? Families hate each other and brothers don 't want to see their sister prosper. If the blessings of God is for all mankind, why should your own brothers fighting you because you send yourself to college to better your life.

Well, I have some of the same questions about cities , iron working and so forth. Also, if God put a mark on Cain, who was he protecting him from? Cain 's family? Who else was around to build the cities?

Picture yourself in that time of the Bible event. Obviously a city then was much smaller with less people. And the events did not happen day by day. It 's not a running commentary in that way. If I asked you to explain your life history in 5 minutes, how would you word it? Eg. "I was born in 1970. I live in Paris. My wife is Jane. " But was I born in Paris? No, I did not say. But I am living in Paris today. And I obviously did not marry my wife in 1970. verses 1 and 2 if Gen1 are 2 DIFFERENT times. Gen1 1 was BILLIONS YEARS AGO. Gen1 2 was 6000 years ago. Now we have a CLEARER understanding. Bible is THEN consistent with science. 6000 years ago was recreating of the Earth after Lucifer Satan tried to destroy it.

God was not testing Cain 's honesty. God ask to show Cain who he Cain is. Cain didn 't say he doesn 't know where his brother is. He said I am not his keeper. Which is basically, I am not telling you because I don 't business with where he is and why should I even know. It showing how careless, cruel, and how wicked of a heart Cain has. I mean, he killed his brother in cold blood.

Never be afraid to go to God with your questions. It says in James Chapter 1 "If anyone lacks wisdom let him ask of God and He will give liberally without REPROACH. So questioning "why " is not challenging God. True faith is going TO Him in your confusion, and trusting that He will interject wisdom into your confusion. Never be afraid to approach our Father. Hebrews chapter 4 says let us come BOLDLY to the throne of grace. Who are we to question the creator? We are His children seeking answers from our Father who always has our best interest at heart.

Sorry but am I missing something here This is GENESIS Adam and Eve are supposed to be the first humans yet there s another TOWN with other people for instance Cain s to be wife and enough people to BUILD a city assuming Enoch didn t build an ENTIRE city single handed I see the common answer is that Adam and Eve lived to over 900 years old and so in that time had hundreds of other children to go out and multiply Well that clears THAT up then 0o

God was please with Able offering because it came from the heart,Cain offering didn't come from from the heart,cain wanted something and when you give to get God is not happy (cain gave and it wasn't his best,he gave because he wanted to be God's favorite.)
