Cain must have married his sister. The Bible does not record any other creation except for Adam & Eve and we are told that after Cain & Abel Adam got other sons and daughters.
And from the Hebrew texts; "And Abel he too brought of the firstborn of his flocks and of their fattest, and the Lord turned to Abel and to his offering."
And again, when we look to Jewish sacrificial practices we see that Fat represented perfection and good health in the sacrificial animal.
A subtle but profound piece of advice is offered in this verse.
If we want to avoid sin, we should constantly occupy ourselves with doing good. Mediocrity is a street that leads to a really bad neighborhood.
A predator most often goes after the weak. So we should be putting on an excessively athletic display (of goodness) in an attempt to discourage it (sin). We want the ravenous beast to look and say, "Forget that!"
Since Abel, was a keeper of the "sheep", therefore he was able to offer the firstlings of his "flock" together with its "fat" to the Lord. And since Cain, was a tiller of the ground, therefore he brought of the fruit of the ground as his offering unto the LORD. God being a righteous God, knew that Cain couldn't produce "fat" out of the fruit of the ground. Therefore, "fat" wasn't the reason why God did not respect the offering of Cain. But the reason was because Cain didn't do well and it has something to do with "sin" as stated in verse 7.
You are right by saying that all human beings came from male named, Adam. He was the first man created by God and he got sons with his wife, Eve. Your conclusion was right that he also drawn sons and daughters by incest during his long life at that time. Remember that Adam and Eve were taken out of the garden of Eden and placed them to the East of Eden because they committed a sin against God. Remember also that Cain dwelt in the land of Nod which was located at the East of Eden after committing sin against God. Therefore, it is not impossible that all of them with their tribes mingled together at the east of Eden. So, the idea that there's another garden of Eden created is not true. But the fact which was based on the scriptures was that all of them started to multiply at the east of Eden. Remember that God placed an angel with a sword to guard the way to the Garden of Eden. It follows too that by then, all of them knew sin.
