    God revealed to Habakkuk the most terrifying vision ever to Afflict this earth PCG . The Chaldeans or Germany will Attack Israel with Nuclear Weapons. Only nuclear weapons will stop trees from bearing fruit or blossoming. No figs, No olives, no grapes. In a war you may stop things from growing for a while but they will return if the atmosphere is ok. But if fall out happens you will get nothing. This book is about the Great Tribulation to come, a day of trouble for Israel. The US, Britain and Judah. There are no sheep in the pens or cattle in the stalls NONE ! Only Nuclear Power could do this. Folks are breaking Gods Laws and Commandments. Breaking his Sabbath and his Holy days. Breaking sexual laws, fornicating, adultery, homosexuals and lesbians getting married national sins eating pork, mice, shell fish,. rape, murder etc.

    Teman from the Hebrew "tay mawn " 8487 God 's glory and brightness is ween coming from the south on the right hand of a person facing east. cf. Heb 8486. This seems to be indicating that the prophet Habakkuk is seeing or God 's glory and light could be seen as coming from the southerly direction of where Mt. Paran was located. at least maybe so in this one instance if not continually the English word Teman as Habakkuk is interpreting it to be apparently has to do with the direction from whence comes God 's bright light is coming.

    What we consider to be our high place ,is our low place to THE LORD..That's when we tend NOT to talk to HIM. When we are in a low place "valley"..We tend to talk to THE LORD and HE LIKES THAT.

    Habakkuk--a faithful servant!!! He is not like the people who lose their faith when difficulties, trial come!!! We should trust God/Jesus in every circumstance!!! We should not only praise God/Jesus in a good times--but praise him in crisis as well. We should all prepare for the worst--and never deny Jesus our savior during persecution, trial,and tests.

    I love God/Jesus all the time!!!

    The apostle Paul commands us to be not drunk with wine, in which is excess; but to be filled with the Spirit; Ephesians 5:18. The church has been slowing down his prayer life, let’s pray God to revive his Church in our generation ( Habakkuk 3:2).
  • James G. Irby on Habakkuk 3:19 - 11 years ago
    My Defender's Bible of 1995 (KJV) has the spelling "Lord God" but the 1611 has "LORD God". I cannot find the words in my Young's Concordance.
  • Terry on Habakkuk 3 - 11 years ago
    Even if all of this happens, I can still depend on the God of my salvation. He said in His word that He would never leave me nor forsake me. He said He would supply all my needs according to His riches in Glory. When we talk about His riches, we are saying that He owns the whole world. So, if He owns the whole world, I have no need of worry. His word is always true. Numbers 23:19 say God is not a man that He should lie nor the Son of man that He should repent, If He said it shall He not do it , if He spoke it shall He not make it good.
  • André on Habakkuk 3 - 11 years ago
    @Mohamed,
    Of course verse 3 clearly says that ‘’God came from Teman, and the Holy One from mount Paran. Selah...’’. which means the Holy one coming from mount Paran is God himself.
    Though, in many instances in the Old Testament, angels (God’s messengers) were taken for God himself, the verse clearly states of God coming from mount Paran.
    However many aspects in this chapter have their ultimate fulfillment in the life of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
    You can learn more of the ultimate fulfillment of the scriptures, which means how the Old Testament tells the life of Jesus Christ, in researching ‘’Jesus Christ the red thread’’ via Google.
    God bless you.
