    Haggai has some beautiful verses.

    Haggai 2:3 - 9

"Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory? and how do you see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing?

Yet be strong , O Zerubbabel, saith the LORD; and be strong O Joshua, son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:

According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so my spirit remaineth among you: fear ye not.

    For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;

And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts.

The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the LORD of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the LORD of hosts."

The glory of God, the prince of peace has shaken the world and was presented as a gift in Bethlehem. He, Jesus filled the house and overcame the darkness of Egypt. There will no other house on dry land or sea except the one Messiah, Jesus Christ at his planting. He will come again in the harvest and will harvest His Olive Tree as He has already prepared the Work.

    Ze.14 (1 of 3)

    overview:

"Behold, the day of theLordcometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee."(v.1) But this division is caused by a cataclysmic upheaval so "but Jerusalem will be on an elevated site," (v.10-TLB).

In order to understand this earthquake the Spirit sets an earlier earthquake as a precedent."yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah." But here the Spirit is referring to the shaking the heaven and the earth once more. "Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land."( Haggai 2:6). This is to elevate the city of Jerusalem on an elevated site, which is in the mid-air.

We have yet another clue as to the timing of the earthquake. Resurrection of the two witnesses. (Re.11) "And the same hour was there a great earthquake. And in v.14 we have this announcement from heaven: "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.". It is clear that the site of Jerusalem has shifted. For this reason we read that the vision of St John gives it in mid-air. "And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."(Re.21:2)

The Spirit has been preparing us from the parting of the red sea how irrational it was to put your trust in your eyes. "This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the LORD."(Je.17:5-NIV) St Paul speaks "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.:(2 Co.4:18)

Psalm 65. This Psalm has several prophetic overtones; both of the first coming and Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Verse 2 reminds us of Haggai 2:7 as the "desire of nations" shall come. Again; we see specifically mentioned those who are in prayer and God "hearest" them. God does not heed to the prayers of the wicked ( Prov. 15:8); this of course can be extended to those in rebellion. Christ is NOT desired of men ( Isaiah 53:3) in our natural state; and to understand the beauty of the love the Father extended to us who was pleased to "crush His Son" ( Isaiah 53:10) while we were yet enemies is something beyond our comprehension.

1 Samuel 13 shows how David was chosen; much like the verse 4 in this Psalm. Certainly Christ was chosen as well to fulfill all righteousness ( Matthew 3:13) and His baptism was part of the plan.

Verse 5 is somewhat indicative of the scenario during His judgments; although there through the rest of the Psalm generally gives God's blessings through the natural cycle with tides (verse 7) and weather patterns of rain v. 9-12; and the resulting harvest (v. 13). These will; of course be brought to the greatest fruition during the Millennial period and we will see an end to much destruction with natural disasters; notwithstanding those who refuse to come to Jerusalem to worship shall have no rain. ( Zech. 14:8).

    Zechariah 1:1,

I believe you may be mistaken, not the Word of GOD

In my study I looked up the "Court"

    The Court : Exodus 27, in the tabernacle, Exodus 40:20-33, the House: 1Kings 6:16-36, 1Kings 8:64, 2 Chronicles 4:6-22, Solomon made,

2Chronicles 24:18-27, Court, before captivity into Babylon, note Isaiah was prophesing of it, in 2 Chronicles,

    Zechariah, Zacharias, etc. 2Chronicles 29:1, 2Kings 14:29, 2Kings 18:2 2Kings 15:8,11, even Luke 1:5,12,13,18,21,40,59,67,

There seems to be several men with same name, but Jesus specified "the son of Barachias" Zechariah 1:1, note: Luke 11:50-51, Matthew 23:31-39, 'between the temple & the alter '

Zechariah son of Berechaih was alive prophesing during the 2nd year of Darius, Zechariah 1:1, seemingly During: Daniel 6:1, Daniel 9:1, Daniel 11:1, the time of rebuilding, Ezra 4:24, Ezra 5:7, Ezra 6:13, Haggai 1:15, Haggai 2:10, Nehemiah 12:22,

Please note Zechariah 7:1, the house of The LORD was rebuilt & Zechariah approached their sin, Zechariah 7, he even speaks of the 70 years of captivity: Zechariah 7:5,

    Hopefully these are helpful

I think the Lord is saying during these times is to work and fear not for he will be with you, as in chapter 2:4-5. The Lord is calling his people to be holy, 2:13-14 Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these , shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean. (I believe he is speaking of fornications) Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, says the Lord; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. No matter how much a person goes to church if they do not get their hearts right, that which they offer there will be unclean. In Matthew 15:19 For out of the HEART proceed EVIL thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. ***( Jesus said these are evil thoughts)*** Jesus said in Matthew 15:17-18 Do you not yet understand, that what so ever entered in at the mouth, goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught? But those things that which proceed out of the mouth come fourth from the HEART: and they defile the man. Matthew 9:3-4 And, behold, certain of the Scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, wherefore think ye EVIL in your HEARTS. Once again in Mark 2:6-8 But there were certain scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their HEARTS. Why does this man speak blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God only? And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said to them, Why reason these things in your HEARTS? Mark 3:4-5 And he said to them is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days or to do EVIL. But they held their peace. And when he looked round about him with ANGER, BEING GRIEVED FOR THE HARDNESS OF THEIR HEARTS, he said to the man stretch fourth your hand. and he stretched it out, and his hand was restored whole as the other. READ PROVERBS 4:23 about the heart, I hope this helps someone.

God is calling the people to be faithful and obedient to Him. The Lord is revealing to them what does it prosper a man to gain the whole world and lose his soul. No matter what we want, it should never interfere with the plan of God. Many times we get sidetrack, and they did, but God brought them back, by reminding them that he will destroy their works unless they returned and fulfill God will.

Verse 9 brought out that Zerubbabel’s temple would be more glorious than Solomon’s temple. Zerubabbel’s temple stood longer than Solomon’s. Jesus taught at Zerubbabel’s temple and more people flocked to his temple to worship.

V.10; Haggai 2:3; Ezra 3:12 - When I came back to the church, and knew the former preacher had died, and heard the new preacher, I really liked the new, but - there was a yearning for the former. But I rebuked it in prayer and God has gotten me over that 'looking back'. I love the memories, but I need to ALWAYS be looking to God's new work toward His Kingdom.

I believe God have a something special for His remnant of Israel and He Always included them in every situation to comfort them with His PEACE. Up to time we are living inGod will necer leave His People And surely He will not distroy and as Christ says My mother and father and brother and sister are those who Do the will of His Father Keeping his command or Covenant to the end We are save through Christ but their will always be the ten commandment cause Our Heavenly Father hold true to His WORD Our Heavenly Father hold true to His Word ,He still hold unto God never change His Word ,His remnat of people Israel up to this day are giving peace when they walk in obedience with his word,He did not do away with the Ten Comandment , Christ Himself said My father and my mother ,my brother and sister are those who do the will of his father.

Haggai 2:3- This text contains the very essence of how far our human aspirations can go.Much as the ancient temple was built with magnificence it turned to vanity (what later the very king, king Solomon himself, who built it said in Ecclesiastes) .The ancient temple was beaten down to ruins, never to attain her glory again. The lord now requires a place in our heart to be His holy habitation.

Chapter 2 asked us a question Will we become clean so God can bless us? God will shake things up and cast things down if we Truly serve Him. Our enemies will be utterly destroyed before our eyes. Nothing can stand in the present of God especially when a "whole lot of shaking " is going on. He said YOU be HOLY for I AM HOLY! Let 's not touch any dead stuff in our life, but remain clean and receive God 's Love, Peace and sanctity.

some will say that it harder to take the people out of egypt than to take egypt out of the people.every now and then we lose sight of who God is because things don 't go our way or not as mighty as we think it should be. If we trust God no matter what situation, no matter what size or how things look, God will make a way out of no way.

It seems very clear that if this question was asked in our generation I am sure the answer would be "PEACE". The desire of everyone all over the world would be "PEACE"
Peace of mind is something far more precious than gold or silver. Peace that I would have clean water something we take for granted. Peace to live in harmony with my neighbour. Peace can be applied to every area of mankind. True peace can only be found in one place, an unselfish heart.

God will shake the earth, heavens, sea for us, whatever that was troubling us, it will be shaken. We do not need to fear for we are His standard, his measure of good things.

Jehovah God declares all the silver, and gold is mine, and He is going to shake heaven, and earth to rebuild the temple in Judah. The glory of the latter house will be greater than the former house. God will restore Judah, and Israel to fame where they were once ashamed among the nations. When the Lord Jesus Christ rules and reigns in the millennial temple. Sing to the Lord, and proclaim a fast among the people, for our God rules, and will be magnified in that day.
