Hi Ruben the changes that I shared about with you are not in the KJV they are in other Translations including the it in Hebrews 4:12 I'm not refering to their latest Translations only the ones I was useing before I changed to reading the KJV The Cult Translations have changed wording again in some of their newer Translations and other well known Translations have done the same. The pharisees accused Jesus' disciples of working on the Sabbath, not Jesus. Plus, is eating really 'working'? They were hungry and picked grain and ate it. He healed someone, but is that really 'work' to Jesus? If He started building a chair in His shop that would seem more of a real Sabbath violation in my view. Matthew 12.

You are wrong. It isn't faith and words, but deeds. Therefore the old saying, "action speaks louder than words". Jesus worked on the sabbath, as many do today. AND HE MADE IT A POINT THAT MOST PEOPLE DO WORK.

Jesus is our Sabbath. We rest in him. The Sabbath day was a shadow of rest in Jesus. Keeping the Sabbath is not rest in Christ. It is part of the law which can not enter you into rest only God's grace through your faith can do that. Trusting in the work of Jesus on the cross is how we find rest not a work of the flesh.

In Hebrew is telling us to stand firm and have faith in God Almighty the finisher, Alpha and Omega.

True, very few reside in the "rest" that Paul speaks of. But there were some as Moses, Joshua, and Caleb who were found worthy to cross over Jordan into the promised land. the gospel was preached but it didn't do them any good because they didn't have faith in the Word. It's impossible to please God without faith...because the just shall live by faith in God's Word. We get faith by hearing God's Word and choosing to believe what it says and applying it to our everyday life. Then we can rest in knowing that He hears our heart's cry and will answer. God is faithful!

Verse 14~Jesus Christ is a superior High Priest because he will always be alive to plead in our behalf and he gave a sacrifice once for all time.

"Servant of God" back up to verse 9. Rest used in verse 9 is from the Greek word 'sabbatismos' which means a sabbath rest. To the people of God there still remains a Sabbath. "...touching the righteousness which is in the law, blameless." vs 6. Paul here, and only 3 others throughout the N.T. are said to be blameless before the law. Jesus ( Hebrews 4:15), and Zacharias and Elizabeth, parents of John the Baptist ( Luke 1:6). But then, we live under a different law, faith and grace, for "Christ is the end of the law for righteous to everyone that believeth" Romans 10:4.

We must labor to enter into that rest? They did not enter, except Caleb and Joshua? Jesus, the High Priest did? God is the discerner! Who can enter lest God permits!?. To David, Today, if you hear God's word, harden not your heart. The seventh day, the day of rest, where one would die if he worked that day, by stoning! Yikes! So to sum up, the Rest to which God refers is entirely up to Him
