Once you confess your sins and leave them at his feet and do not go back and pick them up he will and dose forgive us. We have to be fully cencer to GOD as well as to ourselves GOD is merciful and his word dose not come back void,we have to stead fast in HIS word and STAND on it and truly believe it eat it daily our flesh dies daily with OUR FATHERS word in us. This is how we fight the enemy. ALWAYS lay before him always read EPHESIANS 6 putting on the whole armour of GOD and know HE dose LOVE us be blessed

Paul remember is speaking to his own people, the Hebrews, the children of Abraham, who was bless by Melchisadec, who actually was not different than our own High Priest, Jesus. The child of promise was of course Issac in whom was God seed thus named. God fulfulls his promises and bless those who commit to Him, and that commitment must be absolutely true. Is there anything hidden from God? Brothers and Sisters, bretheren learn from our Father, the Holy one, blessed be He, for he has succored us in all things. Is there anything left out of the Bible that is necessary for our Salvation?

I think that paul is talking about christians that have lost their faith and hope and have drifted so far from god that they no longer feel the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and therefore have fallen from grace beyond repentance.

I CAN ONLY SPEAK FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE AND POWER OF THE CROSS. REFERRING TO HEBREWS 6:4-8. THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS , HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE OUR SIN AND CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. WHEN THE WOMAN WAS FOUND IN ADULTREY AND WAS ABOUT TO BE STONED, JESUS FORGAVE HER AND SAID GO AND SIN NO MORE. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO WORK OUT OUR SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING BECAUSE WE DESERVE DEATH. THE PROCESS OF BEING CLEANSED AND FREE FROM SIN IS A LIFETIME WORK WITH JESUS AS A CO-LABORERE WITH US. RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE. RESIST MEANS TO DAILY PRAY FOR FREEDOM,OUR ATTITUDE SHOULD BE TO GARD THE AVENUES WHEREBY SATAN TEMPS US.THE SIX SENSES ARE THE AVENUES BY WHICH SATAN GAIN ACCESS TO TEMP US AND KEEP US IN SIN. GUARD WHAT YOU SEE, WHAT YOU HEAR, WHAT YOU TOUCH, WHAT YOU SMELL,AND WHAT YOU TASTE. TELEVISION IS ONE OF THE MEDIUMS SATAN USED TO TEMP US. EXAMPLE, IF YOURE A LUSTFUL PERSON AND YOURE A FORNCATOR, DONT WATCH PORNO,BEAUTY PADGENTS,THE KORDASHINS,DONT READ LOVE STORYS OR NOVELS,DONT WATCH TYRA BANKS,THESE WILL AROUSE YOUR CARNAL NATURE FOR SATAN USES IT TO DESTROY US. THUS KEEPING US IN BONDAGE. I DIE DAILY, KEEPING MY CARNAL NATURE UNDER CONTROL WITH HELP FROM THE HOLY SPIRIT. AVOID GOING PLACES THAT YOU KNOW WILL HENEDER YOUR GROWTH.

In answer to Richard's question - If you had committed the unpardonable sin the Holy Ghost would not be striving with you to repent. I suspect that you have not experienced the things of God sufficiently to qualify to commit the unpardonable sin.

I am very conserned and actually "scared" about the apparent severity that Hebrews 6: 4-6 states. Since becoming a Chistian at the age of 15, I have sinned and backsled from time to time. However, I have always been convicted of my sin by the Holy Spirit, I felt quilty and sorry and I have repented. Can you further elaborate as to the meaning of these verses? Thank you.

Doctrine of baptisms, plural? Let's first notice; v. 1 encourages us to go on unto perfection, not continue to be hung up with foundation principles, such as "doctrine of baptisms". I feel I have found 7 different substances to be baptized, immersed into, to be absorbed by or overwhelmed with), referred to in the Bible. Israel was baptized unto Moses ( 1 Cor. 10:2). Baptism of repentance (change-over from old to new) (Matt.3:6). Baptism into the Body of Christ ( 1 Cor. 12:13), Baptism with the Holy Spirit (Matt.3:11, Acts 2:4, 8:14). Baptism of fire ( Matt. 3:11), Baptism of suffering (Lu. 12:50, Phil. 1:29). Baptism in any other name ( 1 Cor. 1:13). Also, some denominations use the term "Baptized into the visable church, which does not seem scriptural. Some of these are symbolic water baptisms and some not. "Laying on of hands" seems to be in the "Going on to perfection" category but we shouldn't be satisfied with just talking about it.
