There are plenty of people who die twice, Lazarus, the widow's son, the young maiden. All three were stone cold dead and were resurrected to live out their lives and die a second time. The Lord Jesus Christ died ONCE NEVER TO DIE AGAIN!. There is a difference. All those at the final judgement died physically and spiritually once and will die a second time never to see God again, EVER!

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

Why is it so many people who say they have die and come back to tell what they saw after being dead??? I just where a person they said was dead in the hospital - but woke up to say he had been to hell and saw satan's eyes.
The bible doesn't teach that, and Christ died only once for all.
Hebrew 9: 27-28 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

Are you Jewish? Are you a Hebrew? Words mean things! Paul IS the Apostle to the Gentiles. Therefore the Pauline Letters are written to us Gentiles, the rest of the Bible is for OUR LEARNING! We today are saved by a FREE GIFT and sealed unto the Day of Redemption the moment we believe the Gospel in 1 Corin. 15 ...PERIOD! You are failing to 'Rightly Divide the Word of Truth'.

importance of trinity not to be overlooked- in this case God our Saviour means the Father who sent his Son Christ Jesus John 3:16 somewhere in scriptures, the gospels, Christ says, "I don't do things on my iniative, I do things I hear in heaven, not of myself, the Father's will not my will: I obey the Father who has given me complete authority to do so" for instance, in the Gethsamane garden Christ agonizes in prayer to the Father "that this tribulation cup pass from me", then submits to his Father's purpose "not my will but thy will be done", "even unto death" epistles of Hebrews and Romans the Father is the grand orderor of all things which Christ has full power to obediently implement Genesis 1:26 the Holy Ghost, too, a principal actor Genesis 1:2, Hebrews 9:14, Proverbs 9:2

Dewey, Hebrews 9:8 states, "The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:" Reading farther down it is made clear to me that all the "sacrificial" ordinances were a precursor to Jesus' death. Then your quote of verse 15 applies to these "sacrifices" and the only thing that changed about those was Jesus' life instead of the lives of animals. This really doesn't speak to my question about the various sabbaths. And I'm equating these with paying tithe. I do not believe tithe was done away when Jesus gave His life for man thus, maybe these various sabbaths weren't either...thus my quandary remains.

Note the theme of the chapter, a Testament does not come into effect until the death of the Testator. That means that all four Gospels are under the Law Old Testament until the death of Christ at the end of each book. This explains the differences in what Christ said here on Earth and what Christ told Paul after his resurrection. The book of Acts is the history of the transition from Law to Grace.

Those that die in the lord will enter a place of paradise as with the thief receiving salvation on the cross.A place of rest free from any form of strife or calamity where they find out that the toils of this life is finished.absent from the body present with the lord.like the thief, this day ye shall be with me in paradise.like paul said,i believe that noting can seperate me from the love or present of god
  • Grace on Hebrews 9 - 9 years ago
The sins of the people were transferred to the lamb whose blood was shed for forgiveness of their sins once a year for there was always a need to shed blood for forgiveness and now a better covenant, a permanent covenant, through Jesus Son of God who took our sins upon Himself as a perfect Lamb, Holy and unspotted, once and for all and shed His blood for our sins, a lasting covenant. Glory to God! Thank You, Jesus!

anonymus This verse is basically saying that throughout the Law of Moses the Laws given by God to Moses in the books Exodus, Deuteronomy, Numbers, and etc almost all of the things were made with the sacrifice of blood. Without blood, there is no remission remission can mean forgiveness or fixing the wrong doings . But if you continue to read, the Blood of Jesus Christ took the place of our own blood. He paid our debts for our sins, and all you have to do is believe He is Christ and the Son of God and you will be forgiven for Jesus Christ 's sake. God Bless! :

Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Jeremiah 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Hallelujah What am hearing the Lord is saying,And particularly concerning the BLOOD is that he bring us to attention and declare that the former sacrifice was handled and considered inferior Because here come SOMEBODY who by His merit he went the Most Holy Place by his blood and for sure JEHOVAH accepted His sacrifice. JESUS Blood became the superior and perfect if all blood. Therefore, in this dark days , Those people who Will :- 1.depend on Blood 2.realise the blood 3.Worship the blood 4.Walk with the blood 5.Live with the blood 6.Trust on the blood 7.Washed by the blood 8.Cleaned by the blood of Jesus................ "SHALL BE DELIVERED To RAPTURE OF CHURCH " IT IS THE TIME TO REPENT MESSIAH IS COMING SOON THAT YOU THINK. SHALOM .

James Njoku- Maybe 1 Peter Chapter 3: 17-22 will help you regarding John 5:28 17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. 18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: 19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison those that had died before Christ was sacrificed on the cross was preached to by Christ after he was crucified while he was still yet in the tomb for those 3 days. They heard Christs voice. Hebrews 9:27-27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:---- you are making that verse harder than it is suppose to be. It means that after someone dies-you must be judged. Judgement time comes after the perishing of flesh. Although it does not come immediately after death. It comes on judgement day. I hope some of this has helped you Keep studying! Don 't give up. If you don 't understand something, pray for wisdom and knowledge from GOD...for all wisdom and knowledge comes from GOD. He is faithful. You will receive it in HIS time! Always be patient!!!! ALWAYS!
