Yes, the Lord will forgive you. But, repentance is more than a prayer, it's a lifestyle. You must continually turn away from a lifestyle of sin. If your ex-husband was mean to you before, given the circumstances, that may not change. In God's eyes, I believe you are still married to him. However, you left him for a reason. I wouldn't go back to that type of bondage. As someone mention earlier, you can help him in other ways. You don't have to sleep in the same bed or be intimate with him. You can stay separated, but you will not have rights to remarry while your ex-husband is living. My recommendation is to regard purity.
First of all, this isn't a place to discuss personal things; however, I remember what needing help is like and not knowing where to turn. Any sexual relations outside of marriage is sin. Period. If you feel you need to help your ex there are plenty of ways besides giving him a place to lay his abusive head. After we accept Christ and are saved, God expects us to change... move forward and not look back. You already know right from wrong. Do it.
yes if you ask for forgiveness through CHrist, you will be forgiven absolutely. Once you ask for forgiveness, the sin then belongs to Christ and you have no right or ownership of it. He has bought and paid for it. Any shame or guilt is His and not yours. As far as your "ex", in God's eyes you are probably still married to him.
I was married to a man for 21 years that was mean to me I committed udultery against him we divorced and I remarried my second husband died now my ex husband resides in my home and sleeps in my bed he wants to have sex will that be a sin against me and will God forgive me for the udultery I have committed in the past he has no where to go and I'm helping him out
I was told there is a verse in the Biible about the Coronovirus. I believe someone said it is in Corinthians. In which verse and chapter is that mentioned?
No one knows when the end will come. Jesus himself said he didn't know either but my father in heaven , he only knows. Play with numbers all you want but you will not know when the end will come until he come. We can know it is near. Play with these numbers: Multiply 9 by any single number 1-9. Multiply your answer by 12345679. Leave the 8 out.
I believe Hosea is just as relevant for America as it was for Israel. Like Israel, the Bride of Christ has strayed away from Him, a whoring after other gods. Wake up church, cause Jesus is coming soon.
The inspired scriptures state in Romans 15:4 "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning...." and again in first Corinthians 10:11 "Now all these things happened unto them for examples:and they are written for our admonition..." The book of Hosea was written to Israel telling them they were about to be punished for their unfaithfulness to God. Ditto to us.
Hosea 6-2 is a part of the day of Jezreel prophecy from Hosea 1. In fact it seems the entire book of Hosea is just a part of that prophecy. A top level Leviticus curse to last 2000 years followed by the 1000 year "day of Jezreel". But what triggered it? Per Matthew 17 and Malachi 4 I think the event was the death of John the Baptist. Elijah according to Jesus Christ. His death triggered the curse.
Doug; the saying about "a day is as a thousand years" is for us to understand that there is a day of eternity, and that from the place of God's habitation (in eternity) He beholds all the inhabitants of the earth. We can only begin to see these things in the most obscure and shaded forms in our minds by faith; and they are not to be approved or understood by things which do just for now appear.
2 PETER 3:8 Peter tells us not to be ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Why did he not tell us to remember that JESUS CHRIST died for our sins, or that he rose on the third day. Peter was telling all that put their faith in the Jesus the Christ of Nazareth when the end will come. Not the 24 hour day, so compare HOSEA 6:2
2 days yes but the Vail was torn after His crucifiction begins the NEW COVENANT however the 2,000 begins before zero better math is Israel is about 70 years since 1948 and the last seven years to begin soon and by the way the whole22 chapters of Rev. Is seven years 75 days.....so when the Temple is completed begins the last 7 years the two Witnesses Eligha and John the revelator yes The Apostle
I have not studied the bible well. But I know that the Lord has stated in the Bible that no one knows the day or hour of the worlds end. A well known radio preacher was convinced that the end time should hv already happened 2 or 3 times in the past. He was wrong each time. I do not suppose to know something that God says He alone knows. Inread in the early verses 2 days is 2 days; 3 days is 3.
I believe it corresponds with Corinthians 15:23 and romans 8:29 and 30. The first resurrection happened when Jesus was resurrected, he was followed by many others.
In the books of Acts there are several ways that an individual is saved. The reason is Acts is a transitional book. In Acts 2 people are saved with water baptism added, in Acts 8 hands are laid, in Acts 10 they are saved before water baptism, then in Acts 16:31 believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. Baptism in the name of the Lord mentioned in Acts 10 is the baptism for today. The Lord is what the Father is called in the O.T. The Lord is the name of Jesus Christ see Phil 2:11. Then the Holy Ghost is called Lord, Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Jesus name baptism of Acts 2:38 is Jewish baptism and Jews and proselytes are the only ones addressed in that chapter. Anyone preaching Acts 2:38 is preaching a false gospel for today. If you want to apply verse 38 for today why don 't you apply verse 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. Rightly divide your Bible 2 Tim 2:15 or it will divide you Hosea 6:5.
After two prophetic "days " 2,000 years from the time Jesus revealed himself to Israel in 32 A.D. He will return to earth in the Second Coming exactly in 2032 A.D. Hosea 6 2 . It takes a little insight to see this HIDDEN PROPHECY. Therefore time is quickly running out the Antichrist and worldwide tribulation and Babylon will soon be upon us. I believe the Church will be here to guide the unsaved world until a mid trib rapture. The prophetic clock in ticking down very quickly, so get ready and be faithful.
In Revelation it says no one but God the father knows the time of Jesus 's second coming. We shouldn 't be focusing on dates as much as we need to be preparing ourselves and doing our best to prepare those around us
Adam to Abraham to Apostle Paul to the Rapture Tribulation Christ 's Kingdom 2000 years 1993 years 2000 years 7 years 1000 years totals to 7000 years God deals mankind or as Hosea would say 7 days God deals with mankind.
Jerry Leonard 's To let you know God does not count years of days 365.2422 as we count time. If you notice in Genesis 7 verse 11 the second month the 17th day of may from the time the Ark landed on the 7th month of October 17th God count days as 30 days per month. Because it says 150 days with in 5 months proving He counts time per 360 days a year. To cut a long story short, if you have a Scofield bible turn to page 1169 Acts 15, you 'll notice Ussher has a date 46AD at the center top of the page. If you read the foot notes at the bottom of the page, you 'll notice that Scofield 's notes indicates the start of the church and 2 days. Here in Hosea refers to 2000 years. So multiplying 360 times 2000, you will get 720000 days. Divide 720000 by 365.2422 in our days and you 'll get 1971 years. So if you count the years went by since 46AD, it totals out at 2017. Now I 'm not date setting because I don 't know whether Scofield is right where he thinks the 46AD the church started.
The Messiah made His humble but triumphal entry into Jerusalem in the year 32 A.D. It was the ONLY day He allowed Himself to be honored as Messiah, humbly riding on a donkey. This is very prophetic. No doubt Hosea 6 2 is a prophecy of the Second Coming. After two prophetic "days " 2,000 years He will revive us spiritually rapture, resurrection . This is about 18 years away 2014 18 2032, EXACTLY 2,000 years after He announced being the Messiah to the Jews. The date was not set by His baptism, but by His declaration as Messiah. Before this look for the rebuilding of the Temple and the rebuilding of their faith in JESUS. They will know Him as Christians when He returns for them in the Rapture probably MID Trib . Amen.
I think its about Christs Second coming. 2000 years after his baptism around A.D. 27. This places his second coming around 2027. I believe a revival will come, the latter rain, extreme outpouring of His spirit, Loud Cry,last chance, to believe and be saved. He comes to take the righteous home for 1000 years, to which we will judge angels, and the wicked whom did not believe, and Christ comes again the 3rd time, after the 1000 years with all his saints to witness final destruction of the devil, his angels, and the wicked. The earth will be made new, and we that are with Him, will reign with God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. His agape love will reign supreme. Amen
