When catastrophies and trouble hit a nation, all we hear is "it is that group's fault, it's global warming's fault, it's Bush's fault". The sad thing is, the very same words are said among christian. They do not know and have not considered that it could be our lack of repentance and bowing our knee is prayer as America did years ago when trouble came to the county. A call for prayer and repentance was sent out. God saw that we acknowledged Him and blessed our land. It is not so today. We are wise in our own conceits. God is calling for repentance, not just in America but worldwide.
This is how most churches of God are today, they serve the creature rather than the Creator. Full of religion and tradition and the pastor is proud and arrogant. They teach doctrine rather than the Kingdom of Christ. They praise me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. Get out of religion and man made traditions and serve Christ in truth and in spirit.Amen!!
Isaiah 1 vs 18: Here,God is considering His WORD and His plan He has for man,Remember God has a purpose for creating man, even when man rebelled ,God ,because of His Word and plan for man, He still sent His only Son Jesus to come and die for man's sin( Rom. 5 vs 8)God had to look for man in order to fulfile His Word concerning man, this time ,asking man to come and plead his case in a round table dialogue, asking man to forget how spoit the relationship might be,just to come and have a new begining with Him, God hath promised to forgive and forget man's sins,,there fore God's was fulfiled in John 3 vs 16, and 2Cor.5 vs 17,,,,
This is one of the scriptures that speaks of God's endless faithfulness, mercy and love for His people, especially those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. This is very reassuring for God's people that whatsoever our sinful state is God though Christ is faithful, merciful and loving enough to forgive and cleanse us of all our sins. AMEN!!
I believe GOD does want us all to come back to him, And when I say us! I mean as in each a and everyone of us. We have to repent and. Stay that way! In Jesus name amen
God calls his children to come back to him. Even if our sins are red God will make us pure. Just like the prodigal son,God will accept us back when we decide to come back to Him.
In verse 11. God is not pleased by empty outward human show. We should not, with empty physical shows, strive to please God. We should be genuine in worship and in sacrifice.
Isaiah 1:18 - Here, God is calling us as His children to come and discusse with Him. He is a faithful father who always want us back to himself, so He is drawing us back to Himself again. Not minding we have wronged Him in the time past. GOD'S LOVE IS ENDLESS.
Rahab, faith comes by hearing and hearing the words of God (the spies promises) Willing Obedience ( Isaiah 1:19) God does not care of your status in life...she chose what she felt correct to help support her family. In this case to save her family!
God is God all by himself, God without man is still God, man without God is nothing. God need not to negotiate with sinful man but the loving God that he is, he is willing to purge us of our rebellious ways and bless us despite of wicked ways. all he ask of us is to repent and turn from our ways and in return he will give us beauty for our ashes. that's the loving forgiving nature of Jahovah God. can we ask for a better God than this? accept his offer to you today and experience the blessings of God in your life.
@Bob,
That kind of relationship is still against nature, it is just women’s homosexuality. It is part of vile affections spoken of in Romans 1:26-27.
Because natural sexuality is woman’s body that goes with man’s which it is prepared to receive. It is lubricated and has natural antiseptic and detergent abilities to that end, and can result in procreation.
All the rest is just sinful fabrication or excess that is sustained by sadist and self-mutilation spirits. No one can feel confortable in such practices without deception from spiritual conspiracy.
Thank God deliverance is available in Christ Jesus. The blood of Jesus Christ is there to cleanse us from any iniquity, 1 John 1:4-10, Isaiah 1:18-19. And not only can our sins be forgiven, but also and mainly, God is able to set us free from such possessions if we are meek and humble to His will. No matter how far we’ve gone in such practices, Psalms 146:8 says “The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:”. Being blind or bowed here not only applies to physical aspects of life, but also and mainly to the spiritual ones; levels of sin when right becomes bad and bad good. Because the mind becomes blind, unable to perceive the truth, or bowed, just abnormal. God is able to set us free from such.
But we first need to get born again of the spirit of God, then God can do the job in us in Christ Jesus, as the word says in Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.”
The spirit of God dwelling is us is intended to do any pending work in our body and mind, if we can just keep “stirring it up” in our daily life, 2 Timothy 1:6.
God bless you.
I am sick of your religious pretentions. Stop it! I am the Most High God and I have made myself as a father to you; but you lift your offerings to me in dirty hands while you roll your eyes and sneer like the evil one. I see you. Repent and soften your heart toward me so I may raise you without punishment.
Moses was able to reason with God in the desert during the journey to Canaan. When the Israelites sinned, Deuteronomy 9:2, Isaiah said, come let us reason together, saith the Lord ( Isaiah 1:18). God is always at the righteous and truth side. And always second anything that brings glory and honour to His throne. Whatever seems right. The burning of the incense I believe was taking a different dimension altogether. The people were revering the image as time passed by rather than God Himself. That compelled Hezekiah to destroy those things.
God is good always. He is forgiving and his love is something that can't be matched. He tells us to do good, to do what's right. God knows your heart, open yourself up to him. Call on him he's waiting with open arms. Jesus loves you.
God said/told us that we do not know Him nor His thoughts or ways ( Isaiah 54:8-9), and that God doesn't care for anything that the world does, but God searches for the mind and the hearts of them that love him, and has a repentant heart!!!! Gyas said of a truth when he said that God shows his love, faith, mercy, and that he loves one who turns away or repents, from the ways of the world ( Isaiah 1). This is the God of the whole earth and the heavens! The almighty God, the mighty God, the great high priest, the high priest, the king of Salem, the king of the Jews, the king of kings, and the Lord of lords, the everlasting father, the righteous father, alpha and omega, the beginning and the ending, the author and finisher of our faith, the Lord our righteousness, the faithful and true witness, the wonderful counselor, prince of peace, king of peace! God sent Jesus Christ to show the world about him! And we killed his image, because the world is wicked and evil! So the world killed the image of God (and still will/do), and kept living and getting worse and worse...! But God is always faithful to forgive one who repents and turns to him by Jesus Christ, the servant and son of the living God!!!
Revelation was written by a Christian for the warning and salvation of Christians. Jesus Christ is ‘Abraham’s Seed’. Christians that believe in God and Jesus, are “of Abraham’s Seed”. Moses wrote about and looked to Jesus. When Jews reject Jesus, they reject Moses, they also reject Abraham and they reject God who sent Him. The Pharisees are the ones that practiced the Talmudic teachings, which Christ condemned. Jesus Christ followed the Law of Moses; Jews follow the Talmud. Read Isaiah 1:2-4 ... God says Israel is a sinful nation, they are corrupters and a seed of evildoers. God is angry with Israel for rebelling against him and rejecting Jesus Christ. Repent and be saved.
Isaiah 1 shows us that our GOD is the GOD of love, mercy and forgiveness, and full of compassion and long suffering. And yet He hates sin, but loves a repentant sinner.
ye shall eat the good of the land
