The better translation would be "in your midst" or "among you." Jesus was telling the Pharisees that He brought the kingdom of God to earth. Jesus' presence in their midst gave them a taste of the kingdom life, as attested by the miracles that Jesus performed. Elsewhere, Jesus mentions His miracles as definitive proof of the kingdom: "If I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you" ( Luke 11:20).
There are three popular interpretations of Jesus' words in Luke 17:21 that the kingdom of God is within you (or among you): 1) the kingdom of God is essentially inward, within man's heart; 2) the kingdom is within your reach if you make the right choices; and 3) the kingdom of God is in your midst in the person and presence of Jesus. The best of these interpretations, it seems, is the third: Jesus was inaugurating the kingdom as He changed the hearts of men, one at a time.
For the time being, Christ's kingdom is not of this world ( John 18:36). One day, however, the kingdom of God will be manifest on the earth ( Isaiah 35:1), and Jesus Christ will rule a physical kingdom.
Jesus told his desciples to pray for the Kingdom.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Mat. 6:10.
Some say the Kingdom started in Jesus ministry.
There's several problems with that view.
1) Davids throne no longer existed then. "It still don't.
2) Revelation 20. refutes that notion. "The devil is still at large, look around.

Is there scripture outside Revelation that confirms an exact 1000 years? The answer is no. Are there false teachers out there? The answer is yes, there are many, 1 John 4:1. Psalm 2:6-9Psalm 22:27-31Isaiah 2:1-4 Isaiah 9:6-7Isaiah 24:21-23Jeremiah 23:5Ezekiel 20:33-44Ezekiel 39:21-29Zechariah 2:10-13Zechariah 8:2-3Zechariah 14:1-9Matthew 19:28Revelation 11:15Revelation 20:4 and more.
Is there any scripture that says people will go to or reign in heaven? The answer is no. Are there scriptures that say the elect will reign with Jesus on earth? The answer is yes. Daniel 7:272 Timothy 2:11-13Revelation 5:10. Are there scriptures that describe how things change after Jesus returns? The answer is yes. Zechariah 8:4Isaiah 11Isaiah 60:15Isaiah 65:18-25. These people will be alive on the second coming of Jesus, they will have the opportunity to live longer if they choose to obey God.
Are there things that have not been revealed to us? The answer is, yes? Jesus will return and set up the kingdom here on earth and He will put all enemies under His feet, 1 Corinthians 15:25. Will death still be during the time Jesus is ruling? The answer is yes. The purpose is to fulfill the rest of the scriptures with Jesus, Israel, the Gentiles, and creation that has not yet been fulfilled.
The only scripture that gives us 1000 years is Revelation, but many scriptures tell us the kingdom will be set up on earth. We have these, Numbers 14:21Psalms 115:16Micah 4:1-3Matthew 5:5Matthew 6:10. Not to debate, with the time it will take I cannot say the 1000 years are false.
The necessity of Israel to prosper economically in the last days is seen in verse 7. There will be the perceived descendant of David; who will be worshipped as the Messiah but in reality be the Antichrist who will no doubt bring the valiant display of wealth with the horses and regalia that King Solomon once had with all his excessive riches. The occult worship once again will be promoted (soothsayers; and religions from the "east" verse 6); see also v. 8 with worship of idols once again ensnaring the nation. We go forward in time from verses 9 through 21; once again with the theme of God judging the world in general; as well as Tarshish in v. 16. That could stand for a veiled reference to the USA who came originally from Spanish origin; or the actual city of Tarshish already receiving judgment shortly after Isaiah's writing. The collapse of cities and mountains elsewhere in scripture also are indicated in verses 14 and 15. Verse 22 shows the vanity of man in general; but certainly could be the false worship of the "savior" of Israel who also will be judged at the end of the Tribulation. Verses 1 through 5 indicate God's rule over the earth; submission of the nations who no longer use weapons of war; and the final repentance of Jacob; which would represent the remnant saved of Israel from "Jacob's trouble". These are clear indications of the Millennial rule of Christ after the 7 year judgments occur. The topographical changes of earth in verse 2 where Christ will rule and reign from Jerusalem show that the highest point will be in Jerusalem; and shows how the nations will come to it. Further details on this can be seen is Psalm 48.
There is a glorious day in the future which does not depend upon a ritual or a liturgy or a ceremony or jumping through some little hoop and thinking that will please God. God says that it is the heart which will have to be changed, and He says that He is going to change these people's hearts. The Word of God will go forth from Jerusalem, and it will be called a city of truth.
Isaiah goes on to say in his prophecy, "And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more" ( Isaiah 2:3,4). But we have not come to that day yet. Yet there is coming a day when "Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain [or, kingdom] of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain." In other words, Zechariah is speaking of the establishment of the millennial Kingdom, which is yet in the future.
Actually, the Millennium is merely one phase of God's eternal Kingdom; that is, the "theocratic Kingdom," as Dr. George N. H. Peters calls it - and I like that term so much better. Actually, everything thathashappened in history, thatishappening in our day, andwillhappen in the future is all part of God's program in setting up His Kingdom here upon this earth.
Now the Millennium, one feature of God's eternal Kingdom, is a special dispensation that is yet future. The Millennial Kingdom will come to an end, and the eternal Kingdom will begin. That is stated clearly in Scripture. Over in1 Corinthians 15, Paul gives the order of events, beginning with the resurrection of Christ inverse 20,
Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.( Zechariah 8:3)
This prophecy looks to the future. It has not been fulfilled since then, and it's not being fulfilled today. God makes it clear that He will return to Zion, and He makes it clear that He is going to dwell in the midst of Jerusalem.
"And Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth." Today it is a city where there are more religions than you can imagine! Every Christian organization has built something there, and there are all kinds of cults and isms there. It is not the city of truth today.
"And the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain." I have never seen anything there that I thought you could call holy. It's just not holy today, my friend. It will be holy when He gets back there, but He is not back there yet. This prophecy looks to the future.
"Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth." Earlier, Isaiah had made it very clear that Jerusalem is to become the capital of the earth. In the second chapter of his prophecy, we read, "The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it" ( Isaiah 2:1,2). Zechariah is here looking on toward the last days and is encouraging the people. They have returned to the land, and God has blessed them to a certain degree, but this is a miniature of what is going to come in the future.

1 Thessalonians 5:4-9. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

Hello Benito, Likely there have been "evil brutes" for a long time already. I am re-posting a point of a confession of faith from 1632 from Christians that suffered torture and death at the hands of the Roman Church, my children are in part blood decedents of the same.
14. Of Revenge
"As regards revenge, that is to oppose an enemy with the sword, we believe and confess that tha Lord Christ has forbidden and set aside to His disciples and followers all revenge and retaliation, and commanded them to render to no one evil for evil, or cursing for cursing, but to put the sword into the sheath, or, as the prophets have predicted, to beat the swords into ploughshares. Matthew 5:39 ; Matthew 5:44 ; Romans 12:14 ; 1 Peter 3:9 ; Isaiah 2:4 ; Micah 4:3.
From this we understand that therefore, and according to His example, we must not inflict pain, harm, or sorrow upon anyone, but seek the highest welfare and salvation of all men, and even if necessity requires it, flee for the Lord's sake from one city or country into another, and suffer the spoiling of our goods; that we must not harm anyone, and when smitten, rather turn the other cheek also, than to revenge or retaliate.
And moreover, that we must pray for our enemies, feed and refresh them whenever they are hungry or thirsty, and convince them by well doing, and overcome all ignorance. Romans 12:19-20
Finally, that we must do good and commend ourselves to every man's conscience; and, according to the law of Christ, do unto others that which we would have others do into us". Matthew 7:12
Revelation 20:4 - And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

I can't think of a specific verse(s) to what you seek, but certainly there are verses that show that Jerusalem, as the most important city in Israel, will figure now & into the future as God has directed in 2 Chronicles 6:5,6. And we have the following Scriptures as well: Zechariah 14:1-21; Jeremiah 3:17; Isaiah 2:1-4, 9:6,7, 24;23; Joel 3:17; Micah 4:1-5; Luke 1:32,33 showing Jerusalem's importance. With the third Temple to be built there in the future on the Temple Mount (alluded to in Revelation 11:1,2), I think that event will indicate to the world, of Jerusalem's importance & full return to Israel.
Matthew 19:27-28 The Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel. (How will the saints judge the 12 tribes? Because there will still be flesh and blood beings on earth when the Lord returns).
Revelation 21:1-3 (this is the Father coming down with New Jerusalem) John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Revelation 21:10 John was shown the great city, the holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God.
Revelation 6:1-8; 12-17 Takes place during the tribulation on earth, but also speaks of Jesus AFTER the tribulation and the wrath he will bring on earth. (Reference Isaiah 2:10 and Isaiah speaks of this event in Revelation 6)
Revelation 7:1-4. 9; 13-14 the Lord will seal his servants in their foreheads. 144,000 of all the tribes of Israel. He will also save a "great multitude" which no man could number of "all" nations. (These are the people who survived the Great Tribulation, some who will have gotten converted during the tribulation)
Matthew 24:29-31 Immediately after the tribulation the Lord returns.
Revelation 19:11-14;19-21 Heaven will open, Jesus will show up on a white horse. He will judge and make war.
I know that's a lot. I hope that you will read through the scriptures on your own time.
But know this, there will only be a 3 and a half year actual tribulation period, and anyone who is alive during that time will have to try and survive it, unless they are in the place of safety on earth which the Lord will have reserved for his people...and that place is the Wilderness over in Jerusalem.
I do not enjoy warning people to learn spiritual warfare. God gives us peace that passes understanding. Lack of peace, means something is not right.
We are being shown to put on the armor of God ( Eph. 6) and be in an attitude of readiness. Our armor, of course, is spiritually lived in; comfortably. Our discernment sharpened by the Holy Spirit. At this time, Christians must learn war.
Satan knows his time is short. These difficult times will WAX, WORSE and WORSE. He is amassing his evil armies for a future battle in Heaven; against Jesus with his warring angels. We're seeing things no other generation has seen before.
We do our war, on our knees with the Sword of the Spirit of God. He Will teach us how to pray; what to pray; and give us names to bind on earth and Cast into outer darkness and dry places.
If we have been born again; received the Holy Spirit; asked Him for the Gift of discerning of spirits and to teach us how it works. This depends on Him. He will guide you into all truth.
They're rioting in the streets with demons; and we're cowering in our homes. Think of this: we know how the "story" ends.
We'll be caught up to Jesus into the clouds. Alive or dead, our future is WITH HIM.
You're not going to see anything that God does not allow you to see. He's not going to suffer us to be terrified. We are Jesus's Bride. Be at peace in your soul. It is written: that we will be returning, with Jesus on white horses (in Revelation) when He permanently dispatches Antichrist.
LEARN about spiritual warfare. I'm hearing more Pastors on radio teaching it now to their churches, and to us. The prophetic word is confirmed. Take notes; read those scriptures. This is YOUR sword. Jesus's sword is 2 edged. It cuts going in and when it comes out. How awesome is our LORD!!
We have that same sword. Fear not.
I've checked out Derek Prince on YouTube and his teachings are sound; with scriptures. Write them down.
The Bible is replete with the LORD's name: Jehovah (YHWH). There are of course other names that He is known by, according to His Position & Work. You can Google 'The Names of God', to learn more. But you mention Baha'ullah: his name means "glory of God". He is seen as the latest prophet of God & has a good following. However, when you examine his teachings, you will see that hidden behind his praises of God, he has a low regard of God's Son, Jesus Christ, treating him as just a prophet, as Mohammed & others do. When this happens and the Bible is reinterpreted, then falsehoods arise & we no longer have a true message from God for us but a lie through negation of Jesus' Sacrifice.
Yes it's very evil it is not a black or white thing. We are to forgive no matter what But not used as a rug mat! Although, Some may need counseling from a preacher or someone that is qualified and that can be trusted. Lots of prayers are needed. But with God all things are possible.
Hello, that is evil, a sin and has always been. I don't know what you mean by 'touchy subject' as it's black and white. In Mosaic law the punishment for this is death. Deuteronomy 22:25-27.

Yes unfortunately so many have gotten so far from the truth chasing the world for worldly possessions that we cant get back home...but we need to get back to the basics of life. A heart that is pure and a love that is bright....
The East is referring to that which has contaminated the spirit of man through the matter of Nimrod and the building of Babel. Psalm 2 explains this perverted spirit in the heathen's rage against I AM and against His Anointed the Son of God. This was the stupidity and treachery of those who had the knowledge of the truth and the Covenant of Promise, and chose instead to be heathen and antichrist.

9) Prophecy concerns blessings, both material and spiritual, on earth ( Isaiah 2:3-4; Isaiah 11:1-9; etc.)
RDf

RDf
10) The Mystery Explains Christ's absence from the earth ( Ephesians 1:20-24; Colossians 3:1-3)

Isaiah 2:20
Isaiah 31:7
This is those who inhabitant the Earth after the Church is caught up to meet the Lord.
For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Isaiah 2:12. For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
Isaiah 13:9, ...11 (KJV) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy "THE SINNERS" thereof out of it....10...
11. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
Joel 1:15. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

1. To escape the murderous herod killing all the children.
2. fulfill prophecy OUT OF EGYPT I HAVE CALLED MY SON.
Matthew Chapter 2
13 ...the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.
14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
