On this subject , God always extends mercy first and if refused then judgement is sure .

A few examples like Nineveh , committed horrendous sins but took heed and where spared

The seven churches in Revelation , most needed correction , how many repented ?

Verse 39 end of the verse " O My people , they which lead thee cause thee to err and destroy the way of thy paths . "

At this time the establishment is false , they have changed the ways of God that lead to ruin .

So many false doctrines really do damage if they are believed .

The only cure for this is diligent study of the Word of God , get the Holy Spirits help , in understanding and doing what you learn to live a holy life ...

    Jesus said in Luke 21 v 8

" take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name , saying I am Christ and the time draweth near , go ye not therefore after them .

    These are deceivers ,

I AM is what they say about Jesus and the rapture doctrine is ever so imminent.

I don't think they can be helped , but beware you don't get deceived.

When I first started reading the Bible this verse really was impressed upon me but I understood it not , but was care ful on what people said , and learned to read the Bible my self . Wow so glad o did !

I know these false doctrines better than they do , because they can not see the errors of them . And the damage that is ahead of them .

The Spirit of truth will lead you into all truth , not errors .

Jesus is the way the truth and the life ...

So how dark are these days we are in ? Here is a verse that to me is quite revealing about what's going on these days . Read it in context to get the bigger picture , this is in end times .

    Isaiah 3 v 12

As for my people , children are your oppressors , and women shall rule over them . O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths .

Many false prophets, and women leaders are popping up every where , the next president of the USA could easily be the next and she is no saint . They the children in understanding are trying now to over throw civilized countries, it's happening now even in the USA and around the world . I hope not and pray not but if so there is a reason for it . We are in end times .

Seek the Lord and his kingdom first !

the politicians here in America should read this and take these words of the Lord and let them soak in before they are brought to ruin , this Nation was blessed by God , a nation that helps all others and we are watching it being destroyed by greed and lawlessness , Christians bow down to the Lord and pray as we watch the spirit of the antichrist working, look to the heavens, praise the Lord our God and cry out in humbleness for healing of this once great nation, we learned what happen to sodom and gomorrah

We should all know the good things the Lord says about Jerusalem. However

Jerusalem: What the Bible alone says... Part 1

Isaiah 3:8 - For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

Micah 3:10 - They build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

Jeremiah 4:14 - O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?

Jer 8:5 - Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.

Jer 9:11 - And I will make Jerusalem heaps, and a den of dragons; and I will make the cities of Judah desolate, without an inhabitant.

Jer 13:27 - I have seen thine adulteries, and thy neighings, the lewdness of thy whoredom, and thine abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe unto thee, O Jerusalem! wilt thou not be made clean? when shall it once be?

Jer 19:3 - And say, Hear ye the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever heareth, his ears shall tingle.

Jer 23:14 - I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.

Jer 44:9 - Have ye forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?

Did you not know that Jesus was conceived in Mary womb with the holy spirit ? How John received the holy spirit is when Mary entered the room with the babe in her womb. Let those that have ears to hear hear

Isaiah is warning both the northern and southern kingdom Jerusalem is referring to northern kingdom. He is warning their leaders who are devouring his vineyard. In other words they are not judging the people, Israel , with the knowledge of the word of God.

Isaiah speaks of past, present and future things to come, what I have read, I see going on today. I cry as I read, for it speaks of truth

"And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbor: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honorable." In Jeremiah 25:28-30 is the Word of wrath upon the Nations of the world, and that as judgment begins at the house of God (Israel), so it must follow upon all the rest of the world who are under God's Elect People.

Insight 777 You say "Jesus was not born with the Holy Spirit from the whom as John was." Definitely read John 1. Verse 33,34. John witness the Holy Spirit descend on Jesus, and stayed, (a dove) so John would see what was to come for all that believed in Jesus. Jesus is God, Jesus is the Holy Spirit, how could He be absent from himself? John says Jesus was before me. May the Lord give you wisdom.

The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor says the Lord GOD of hosts?
  • Insight777 on Isaiah 3 - 7 years ago
Lord does not always mean God in the Bible. Lord is a word used for a human landowner, ruler, a king or prince or respected teacher or husband. Jesus was not born with Holy Spirit from the womb as John was. He received Holy Spirit from God when baptized by John. Then Jesus received the term Lord as, Son of God, respected teacher of God's word. Lord of hosts= nations military leader, not Jesus.

God was here warning the nation of Judah that everything that may have made them externally beautiful would be taken away and that they would be devastated. Their material things would be of no benefit when God judged them.

God is indeed a loving father but it displeases him so much to see the people he calls his own disobeying him. Therefore i advice that every child of God should do everything possible to avoid anything that will cause Him to be angry with us.
