Discuss Isaiah 49 Page 5

God is the ever lasting unchanging powerful love that is impossible to fail if He can freely give us His only beloved Son whom He loves so much then He can forever give us all things inspite of who we are or what we have done if we surrender our life to Jesus He will be with us in us for us always and He will make all things work together for good for us He will become one with us that means He will forever be in and with us tillenternity

this verse really encourage and gives hopes to the deserted one makes us also understands how treasured we are in God's hands

This is akin to a situation where the world will fail,but God will be with you to the uttermost.

I am holding on to this scripture....my son is gone right now from home and is on drugs....I am declaring this for my son...and my household...we are going thru awful attacks of the enemy....God Bless

A mother's rejection of her suckling shows a high level of wickedness & selfishness. Above all these ,it is only God that will not fail our trust in Him.

That the Almighty God will deliver us from every terrible situation we find ourselves. God promises deliverance from every form of bondage, evil powers, forces of darkness, principalities and powers etc. From the powers and forces that refuse to let go. God promises deliverance and safety from them all.

What is the historical event that Isaiah is referring to when talking about losing the first child?
Is it Abel? Joseph sold into Egypt?
Can it be a future reference to the coming Babilonian captivity and destruction of Jerusalem....prophetic?
For me and my wife it was our first child that died her first day. Now we have 16 more and 11 are adopted. I believe this scripture is about adoption into Heavenly Fathers family where Kings and Queens carry them a d Seal them in the Temple.

God is so good that He always cares for His own so we need not to be worry coz He hid us from any evil attack.

we should put our trust and hope on God because he is the only one that can never fails or disapoint

This tells us that believer should not be afraid in any situation they foud themselves rather,should put their trust on God.

I like this varse so much because it strenghten my faith in God it makes me to understand that no matter the condition in life God will not forget his own and will always stand by our side in trails and opposition of the enemy

I don't really get it, but I saw this text in my dream, never read it before, so I am trying to do a research, someone please help me translate this dream.

Wahoo! Isaiah 49 reassures me no matter the captivity of the captive like poverty, delay of all kind and anti breakthrough, God will rescue me. Moreover, He will change me to the extent that princes and princesses will bow before me. Halleluiah!

In my opinion nobody can be trusted, that is why our God says cursed be the one who trusts in man. There is a limit to which man can stand by you but our Lord is there for us anytime 24 hours, till the end of the world. The people we trust and rely on will fail us but we can count on the Lord, he who hold our future and knows the end from the beginning, and said those who look for him will find him.

It means to me that God will deliver us when we are in trouble, save us when we become captive of our enemies, for the lord will save us and our children, know that he will come swift and just so watch and not be troubled for our savior is coming soon amen

Isn't it awesome that our God is assuring us that in as much as a woman can not forget her sucking child, the same way He the Almighty will NEVER forget you and I, no matter how hard the storm rages, He is there for us. We should indeed be appreciative of the God will serve who never fails and will NEVER no matter the impossibilities of this end time.

This very chapter of Isaiah re-assures my faith in God my creator whom I know will NEVER go back from His word because He cannot lie. Whenever I feel forsaken and abandoned I am usually consoled by His word which says "those who wait on Him will not be ashamed". So in the face of difficulties, trials and temptations, I am confident that God will someday remember me in my present predicament.

God has assured His children to not worry because He will contend with them that contend with us and our oppressors shall drink their own blood and feed on their own flesh. what a Magnificent God that we serve. Hallelujah

God tells of his boundless love for us and reassures us that after we have been tried and come out as fine and pure gold, we receive more than we had before; and our waste is turned into fertility, our sorrow to joy. We need not worry for our children IF they are in His hands cos he has promised to save them. We also see the importance of Godly patience and its reward; since God cannot lie, we have the assurance that His words will come to pass.

To me Isaiah 49 especially verse 5 is telling us that God actually created us to serve him. He says no one is too small to be his servant that is to evangelize the gospel to those who do not see him as God. while we do this work we will not be alone because he promises to fight for those who take up the challenge to serve. Even when they are in captivity of darkness .

Is an assurance of God to his people

I thank the LORD for chapter 49 of Isaiah, especially when he talks to us to lift us up from obscure positions to positions where kings and queens become the nursing mothers and fathers of our children, and he says even if you are a lawful captive,or prey of the mighty I shall deliver you, and you who waits upon the LORD shall not be put to shame...this word, i take literary and believe it,brethren, We are not condemned but are loved and uplifted in life AMEN

In the midst of serious distress God in his everlasting mercies gave me this scripture,i was neck deep in captivity in my dream and i was trembling in the physical but the assurance of this chapter gave me hope,victory and restoration,God is surely an caring father and companion,may he ALONE be praised.

I too feel like the Lord has forsaken me.I am in dept above my head and there is no way to pay it off.I have a parttime job that does not pay enough to cover my bills and expenses .I look to the Lord for help and He only gives me a little help.Not enough to make a difference.

That verse in Isaiah goes to show the debt of LOVE God has for mankind.
The hollow on Jesus hands is a revellation of this prophesy.God sees us not as the usual sinners but the blood covered,grace loaded children. Rejoice!

Isaiah 49 is a complete weapon of warfare for the belivers. It authoritatively gives us an insight of who our mighty man in battle is, i.e. God the father who has called us to serve him. It is like a child taking a walk with his biological father, he does not easily entertain fear no matter where the attack may be coming from. Even, he sometimes looks for trouble well aware that papa is right beside him and nobody would have the got to come and beat him. So this chapter is only explaining to us the supreme nature of God our creator and should we be afraid when He has the final say in all our situation. May His name be praised now and forever, Amen.

I imagine the image of Zion graven on his palms in verse 16 looks a lot like a nail hole. Thank you lord.

Isaiah is one of the most dangerous weapons in the hands of believers and especially in the hand of intercessors. This man was transported into the domain of God and the angels. his gospel changed immediately from denounciation to commission. He has the greatest number of Messianic prphecies and his revelations are so powerful. His writing was so many centuries ahead of his time. The experience of Isaiah is not to be taken lightly. He is one of the few prophets who dug into the nature and existence of satan.

i thinks what Isaiah 49 is saying is that,God knew our existence even before our birth,God is the only being to take maximum care for us,our parents may have good plans for us but with natural circumstance such as death,sickness and war may hinder them from fulfilling thier plans for us.i could remember all the plans my Dad had for me,but when death came and took him away from me,all the plans perished.God is above natural circumstances
