Necessary doctrines: God's covenants with Israel and the church.
The question that arises is this; since we are "grafted in" hence Jews and Gentiles are part of God's elect in this age as we see illlustrated in Romans 11. If we continue to verse 23; however we see that even Jews are grafted in once they believe in the truth about Jesus. ( Romans 11:25). We also see this principle in Luke 21:24 as well as various Old Testament scriptures about the Resurrection of all saints ( Daniel 12:13) and King David himself ruling with Christ ( Daniel 7:27 and other passages). There are those who stubbornly only consider these promises to be fulfilled in the church and say God is done with Israel. This helps to discount a millennium as something which is symbolic of the church (even though that has lasted almost 2000 years now since Pentecost). I would say that we need to draw the line if there is a display of antisemitism; for instance with a superiority complex developing because of these theories. Admittedly there is much evil among all; including those Jews who are living in unbelief when we see; for instance Tel Aviv and the abominations of those living out a lifestyle like Sodom ( Revelation 13:16-17). We also need to seek out individuals whether Jew or Gentile to preach the Good News; without partiality to anyone. Finally; there is difficulty with some in regard to sacrifices actually occurring in the Millennium; deeming them an abomination as Christ has already fulfilled all things necessary. That would depend on the purpose of these; as to commemorating God and having a ceremonial purification; for instance. Such activity would help to bring all to worship in Israel; fulfilling prophecies such as Isaiah 56:7 and Zechariah 14:17. Despite all this; I wouldn't consider this essential doctrine to break fellowship but important nonetheless to get a correct grip on the rest of scriptures to avoid what could be bigger error of essential truths.
God chastises; no doubt many times in scripture because he is jealous for His Name's sake when idols were worshipped such as the golden calf; or a cursed item was stolen thus resulting in military defeat until the perpetrator was exposed.
Jesus went through the Temple casting out the moneychangers in John 2:17 reflected from the prophecy of Psalm 69 of zealous behavior because the Temple was to be a place of prayer for all nations ( Isaiah 56:7). (Zealous and jealous I would say are pretty similar). Judging by the violent overthrow of the tables and scattering of the animals this was no wimpy protest.
God's anger
Another act of Christ was excoriation of the Pharisees. This basically takes up all of Matthew 23. There was the effect of their hypocrisy on others as well as the love for the true law of God that led to such a tongue lashing here. These outer actions; of course came from a bad heart which Jesus doesn't mince words in describing here.
Much of Christ's anger was directed as righteous indignation and chastisement in order to establish the Disciples as men of God.
The fact that they didn't even grasp the necessity for His death on the cross until it happened helps to explain how they didn't get many of the lessons He intended to give them in the Parables; and other life lessons as they traveled with Him for over 3 years of His ministry. Seeing the incident with Peter in Matthew 16:17-23 we see a complete reversal of Christ stating that only God could have revealed who He was to Peter; to Him rebuking Peter just 6 verses later when he didn't want to allow Christ to fulfill His destiny because of thoughts that came from Satan. This shows that much of what God does is in response to supernatural prompts as it were that affect our actions or conversation. Peter was an open vessel; which was advantageous in receiving wisdom from above; but also let in Satan's ideas which attempted to stoke his own pride and self confidence
What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD, the Word is from everlasting to everslating, the Word is GOD, self-executing, self-executable. Great mystery.
Revelation 22
11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. ( Romans 2:12 - As many as have sinned without Law(the Gentiles) shall also PERISH without Law: and as many as have sinned in the Law(the Jews) shall be Judged by the Law;)
15 Without are dogs(dogs? Isaiah 56:10-11.Take a look), and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
But the fearful(the COWARDS), and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL LIARS, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The Word is GOD, self-executing, self-executable, understand?
The Millennium: Conceiving of mortal man coexisting with resurrected saints.
According to Isaiah 65:20 the man who dies at 100 will be considered a youth and before 100 cursed. This shows the reason for death during the Millennium; it would seem that the lifespan will reach 1000 emulating those who lived well into their 900s according to several accounts in Genesis in the Antidiluvian world. Proof of the Millennium is also found in verses such as Zechariah 14:17 for those who would argue that once the Lord returns that is it and we go immediately into eternity; where death clearly doesn't exist anymore ( 1 Cor. 15:55-57 coming from a passage in Hosea in the O.T.)
The idea of the necessity of a temple at that time makes sense; therefore for several reasons. There would need to be a ceremonial cleansing to be in the presence of Christ and probably us in glorified bodies; not for sin but because of our still corrupted and inferior bodies for those who survive the Tribulation and come to worship there. There are subtle differences as to frequency of sacrifices and a few other details in the temple mentioned in the last few chapters of Ezekiel from the O.T. standards. The external ceremony honoring the Lord; and it fulfilling its role as a place for prayer for all nations ( Isaiah 56:7; quoted by Christ when cleansing the Temple in the N.T.) will bring together these individuals with us; the glorified saints who are given authority to rule and reign with Christ ( 2 Timothy 2:12; etal).
The Gospel; as I have stated rather often at this forum will never be the same by the sixth seal in Revelation forward. There will be no need to preach about who Christ is; or what we are supposed to do although it will be a wonderful truth to share with the natural born children at that time. The warnings about testing ourselves to see if we are in the faith; however certainly will be vital ( 2 Cor. 13:5). Many will believe but sadly ( Rev. 20:8) will rebel and be lost.
Ok.My point is what my Lord JESUS said.Follow me;and let the dead bury their dead-Mat.8:22.In JESUS is life;the LIFE is the light of men, the LIGHT shineth in darkness;and the darkness comprehend it not- John 1:4-5.
Speaking of dog, what matters and prevails is what is written in Isaiah 56:10-11: 10 His watchmen are blind:they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark;sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11Yea,they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are SHEPHERDS(Pastors)that cannot understand:they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
And my Lord JESUS warned:Re.22:15-For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
And Paul warned:Beware of dogs... Philippians 3:2
JESUS said:Out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness,blasphemies-Mat.15:19
Their throat is an open sepulchre;with their tongues they have used deceit;the poison of asps is under their lips-Ro.3:13:
Death and life are in the power of the tongue:and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
GOD warned Adam:Gen.2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil( Genesis 3:1),thou shalt not eat of it:for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Daniel prophesied:Many that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
It because dust is the food of the Serpent-Gen.3:17
The King shall say unto them on His right hand,Come, ye blessed of my Fathe
We are to be holy in Christ Jesus as he is our rest our Sabbath everyday. The Sabbath day keepers are hypocrites as they break the Sabbath everytime they get out of bed and do work. The moment they got out of bed, they broke the Sabbath day. The Sabbath day was a day of rest, when you are resting you are not sinning. Jesus became that rest for us ss the Sabbath day was just a shadow of things to come. None of the Jews could keep the Sabbath, they kept breaking it. Christ is the end of the law of Moses the law of righteousness the Sabbath Day.
Isaiah 56:[2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isa.11[10] And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Matthew 11:28] Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
[29] Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
[30] For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Hebrews 4:8] For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
[9] There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
[10] For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Hebrews 10:1] For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
[2] For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
Col 2:16] Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
[17] Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Jesus became our Sabbath as he became our rest as we now rest in his words which are spirit and life John 6:63. The Jews could not keep the Sabbath day they always polluted it. The moment you get out of bed you pollute the Sabbath. On the Sabbath day, nobody was to get out of their bed, do cooking, or leave their house. Sabbath day keepers every week pollute and break the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed. Jesus became our Sabbath as prophesied by Isaiah. When you celebrate the Sabbath it is of no avail as Jesus our forerunner is now that rest. The Sabbath day was a day of rest, when you are resting, you are not sinning. Sabbath day keepers today pervert the Sabbath the moment they get out of bed.
Exodus 31:14] Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
[15] Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
Isaiah 56:2] Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.
Isaiah 11:10] And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
What matters and prevails is the Word of GOD,the Word is GOD,self-executing,understand?and the Word made flesh-JESUS-the Almighty, warned saying in Matthews 24:15:(whoso readeth, let him understand).
Isaiah 56:8-10
8 The Lord GOD,which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith,Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
9 All ye beasts of the field, come to devour, yea,all ye beasts in the forest.
10 His watchmen are blind:they are all ignorant, they are all dumb DOGS,they cannot bark;sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea,they are greedy DOGS which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand:they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
Even the Lord GOD revealed through Isaiah the watchmen of Israel are blind, they are all ignorant, they are all dumb DOGS, GREEDY DOGS,and THEY ARE SHEPHERDS(Is.56:10-11),yeah,the DOGS are shepherds, the Lord GOD said.
Paul said to the brothers of the Church of Galatia:Beware of DOGS,why?Because they are danger.GOD said by the prophet Jeremiah:Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!saith the Lord- Jeremiah 23:1.
JESUS also said to the multitude, and to His disciples too(Mat.23):The scribes and the Pharisees sat in Moses' seat, then all therefore should observe what they commanded, but they should not do according the works of them:for they did say,but they did not.
And JESUS said to the Scribes and Pharisees:Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees!Ye serpents,ye generation of vipers(according Jn.8:44-45),how can ye escape the damnation of hell?
1Pe.4:17-18
17For the time is come that Judgment must begin at the house of God:and if it first begin at us,what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of GOD?
This chapter is primarily focused on the Millennium promises of blessings and old age for Jerusalem; peace; and a return from diaspora. It demonstrates how all nations will be blessed and desire the God of Israel as well (v. 22-23).
Verses 2-3 state
2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.3 Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.
God is a jealous God as we see in Exodus 34:14. We are reminded from Christ's zealous behavior in the Temple in Matthew 21:13 of the verse in Isaiah 56:7 and that speaks to these passages as well as to Jerusalem being a city of prayer for the whole earth someday. Later chapters in Zechariah discuss Christ fighting for Israel when they finally recognize that Christ is their Messiah; not before.
Verses 9-10 remind those who built the Temple in that time of the resistance. But verses 11-12 contrast what will happen in the last days. Verses 14-15 state: 14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the Lord of hosts, and I repented not:15 So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
Verse 19 discusses the subject of fasts and feasts asked about earlier. Apparently these will go on during the Millennium period.
It appears; after looking at the KJV and another translation that Peter was simply to be used by God as a vessel to reach the Gentiles. There were individuals such as the Centurion at the crucifixion ( Mark 15:39) who truly believed; this would also be the case for the Samaritan woman at the well earlier (half Jew and half Gentile) in John 4; the Roman Centurion whose faith was great according to Christ when his daughter was healed in Luke 7:9; where Christ stated that He had hadn't seen such faith in all Israel.
We also; of course see individuals such as Nebuchadnezzar who was converted in charge of Babylon; a pagan nation as well as individuals assimilated in such as the mixed multitude in Exodus; Ruth and Rahab; and likely Naaman the Syrian not to mention for a time the population of Nineveh; at least in momentary repentance.
There was a time earlier when Jesus instructed the Disciples to only preach to the lost sheep of Israel ( Matt. 10:5-6). However; in the case of the woman praying for her daughter; the only other individual Jesus stated had great faith and also a Gentile went though a discourse in Matthew 15:26-27 and then her prayers were answered. This appears on the surface to be cruel; but Jesus was drawing her out; and this allowed His glory to be put on display and signifies to us for all time perseverance.
Acts 18:6 shows a similar pattern with Paul after he had more than worn out his welcome in preaching Christ in their midst. Now; Israel will have to wait until the Lord's return for all of the cities of Israel to be reached ( Matt. 10:23). Thus; until the "fullness of the Gentiles come in" ( Romans 11:25) Israel is blind in part.
These things are according to God's pattern; and eventually will fulfill verses such as Isaiah 56:7 when in God's Holy mount; there will be a place for prayer for all nations. Mark 11:17 shows how the Jews themselves failed in understanding their own destiny by making a marketplace in the Temple as a mockery.
This section I will go back to Daniel 2, Daniel 7 and Daniel 9.
In these chapters notice the consistency in the players involved. "The beast, little horn, Prince of the people that shall come being one of them. We will trace this character back to revelation.
Daniel 2:32-45 Daniel interprets King Nebuchadnezzars dream, this is the history of the reign of the Gentiles nations from man's viewpoint with the metal images mixed with clay. ( BABYLON, MADO-PERSIA, GREECE, ROME.)
In Daniel 7 we see the same material presented differently.
You see the same material as a series of beast. This is a vision from Gods viewpoint.
Revelation 13:1-4 connects the beast in Daniel 7 to the Antichrist.
In Daniel 2;35-44 we see Christ destroy 4th and final kingdom and its ruler and set up his own everlasting kingdom.
( Daniel 2:44.) And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
( Also see Daniel 7:14.)
This haven't happened yet, and it didn't happen at the cross.
There's still not a kingdom or a King in Israel as described throughout the OT. And there is NO peace!
When studying these chapters, we see the little horn/beast rises out of these 10 horns/kingdoms.
Daniel 7:8-13 describes the end of this last and present empire.
There will be sacrifices in the kingdom. Isaiah 56:6-8. Zechariah 14:16. Jeremiah 33:15-18. Ezekiel 43:18. Ezekiel 46:24. Ezekiel 40:1-49.
Sacrifices never took away sins.
The sacrifices in the OT pointed forward to one who would come and take away sins and the sacrifices in the Kingdom will point backwards to the one who came and took away sins.
The Antichrist will present himself as Christ and the start of the expected Kingdom.
Psalm 87. When we compare God's foundation in the holy mountains (v. 1); we also see how Satan would want to establish a foothold there we are reminded of Daniel 11:45 and some other verses in that chapter auch as verse 19 discussing fortresses.
Verse 2 discusses the gates which would protect the outskirts of the city and also the Temple.
We see the east gate mentioned in Ezekiel 44:2 where Christ will return in the future. That history is intersting as to how it was shut in and kept from intrusion in the past during the Middle Ages. (see history of Saladin).
The city of God will be where Christ rules in the Millennium and then in all eternity the Heavenly Jerusalem will come down to earth at that location. (v. 3).
Verses 4 through 6 are indicative of Christ as well; as it is mentioned that a number of nations will recognize the importance of the birth of this unnamed famous person there. Verse 5 indicates further that he will "establish her" which again indicates the future reign there. Verse 6 seems to indicate God's role call; or perhaps the Book of Life or those physically dwelling in Israel in the Millennium (commentaries debate this). It is interesting that Christ is also counted as everyone else in that number.
The last verse of course could refer to literal springs or it could be figurative. Such verses as Ezekiel 47 show a literal fulfillment. We see the praise of God of music which again would be a future event so that it finally can fulfill the prophecy of being a place of prayer for all nations ( Isaiah 56:7 quoted in Mark and Matthew's gospels).
Messianic and prophetic in nature; Psalm 68 is full of references to the destruction of the armies of the earth and the restoration of Israel and God's Covenant people along with the world at large eventually coming to worship the true and living God.
2 Thessalonians 1:8 discuss the Lord returning in vengeance with flaming fire; and this verse is hardly isolated in the scriptures; as we see finally occurring in Revelation 19. That pretty much sums up the first 2 verses of this Psalm.
The rest of the first half of the Psalm through verse 17 focuses on the deliverance of God; with the personal view of families (widows and fatherless) being represented in verse 5 and 6; where captives are also said to be released. These verses and their themes are repeated in Isaiah 42 as well as Isaiah 49. Taken literally; it would seem that there will be a final Exodus in volving children especially; which occurs during the Tribulation for slave purposes which will end abruptly at the return of the Lord. There will clearly be many widows of those who survive until the Millennium which will have children returned in some cases by royalty; who will basically bow down in the dust and act as foster parents. Verse 18 seems to bolser this idea with worship of the Lord in the Temple which finally fulfills its role to be "a place of prayer for all nations" ( Isaiah 56:7 also quoted by Jesus in the N.T. Gospels). Even MORE support is given in verses 29-32 for this concept.
These verses and many others sadly are often taken as symbolic language which takes much of the impact out of the passages. There needs; of course to be some latitude when we observe symbolism within a text of literal descriptions as to interpretation but hopefully the joy and awe of God's Providence won't be unnecessarily watered down because it seems to go against some sort of specific doctrinal stance. Let us be as Bereans searching the Scriptures daily and dividing rightly.
Hi Terry. You quoted from Deuteronomy 23:18. The word in Hebrew, is 'keleb', which in fact is 'dog'. We see this word used in several places, but it is also used figuratively about men & it's written in contempt. So we see this particular use of the word in Psalm 22:16,20; 2 Samuel 9:8; Isaiah 56:10; etc. But here in Deuteronomy 23:18, I believe the word is applied to 'sodomites', even as we see in the previous verse 17, "There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel."
Not only was prostitution forbidden amongst God's people, but any money associated with those people was forbidden to be used in the performance of a vow before God. And this basically means that neither the wicked person or their money were allowed into God's House, unlike the heathen who often engaged in temple prostitution & used the proceeds from it. Israel was not to behave like them in any shape or form.
Maybe it was "intended for more than a vow", as you suggest, i.e. for the giving of other forms of gifts, for other purposes. But it seems that in these two verses (also verses 21-23), a vow made before the Lord is utterly binding & not to resemble the practises of the heathen.
I've experienced similar situations with " experienced contractors" that had really bad results. I've experienced much of that. Next time I think it may be wise for myself to inquire & require " high quality results " instead of " experienced ". I actually learned how to install my own carpet without stretching it. I had the carpet dealer cut the exact size for each room. When needed I would have it cut with extra length, for walkway, & closets, preventing seams. Then I would carefully cut those to fit as I layed it in place with a carpet knife. The " tact strip" nails alongside the walls grab carpet to lock in place. When the carpet weight is overwhelming I've had rooms clear, clean & ready to install & the carpet rolls delivered to each room. The carpet is much more manageable when opened & rolled out.
So it seems the main question is how to handle this situation as GOD fearing believers. After a bad job has been done.?
1st prayer, Proverbs 3:6, Proverbs 11:5,
2nd don't withhold wages to the wage earner: Proverbs 3:27, Leviticus 19:13, Jeremiah 22:13, Malachi 3:5,
JVIM has a chart on the subject and shows the Jamba (whoever they are) in part of S. Africa. Clearly; with the diaspora in the 1980s to 1990s of Ethiopean Jews there has been some last day move back to Israel. It is hard to read the chart in my room; but there are some Jews that ended up (probably more recently) in S. America; and areas in China.
Of course; there would be individuals who genetically would have scattered throughout the Gentile nations and intermarried who wouldn't know their origins; by and large. The whole concept; it seems to me is that during the Tribulation concurrent with "Jacob's Trouble" His people are delievered out of it ( Jeremiah 30:7). This would bring Israel to a Prophetic fulfillment delivering the "Message of the Kingdom" which was never even completed to all the cities of Israel but will be preached in the End. This would once again put the ethnic Jews in the forefront; the one third who go through and are proven faithful during the refining fire of that seven year trial. This would be a declaratory message of God's victory in real time being started after the Rapture once the judgments are underway. It seems to start sometime before anything in the earth is harmed with the two prophets so there could be a delay from the beginning of the Tribulation for the ministry to begin. These would involve the signs and wonders sort of miracles by Elijah and the second Prophet; and of course is followed by the false miracles of similar appearance by the False Prophet. Final repentance according to Zechariah isn't until they see Christ coming; and all tribes of the earth mourn; Jerusalem is saved before total annihilation and it can be fulfilled that the Temple will be a "house of prayer for all nations" ( Isaiah 56:7). They will once again be a "Theocracy"; regain all their original territory in the Covenant promises and be a blessing for all nations that stream in to worship the true God.

[There are 549 scriptures on strong drink, meaning fermented.]
Isaiah 24:9
They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
Isaiah 5:22
Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
Isaiah 28:7
But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.
Judges 13:7
But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink,
Proverbs 20:1
Wine is a mocker, strong drink is RAGING; and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Isaiah 5:11
Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
Isaiah 56:12
Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
Proverbs Chapter 23
29 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? (tears)
30 They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.
31 Look not thou upon the wine when it is red, when it giveth his colour in the cup, when it moveth itself aright.
32 At the last it biteth like a serpent, and stingeth like an adder.
Beautifully put. I believe some misunderstand, the "Coming of The LORD, Return of The LORD, THE Day of The LORD " as I did also, as dearly loved fellowship of Believers would pray for it. Maybe by Philippians 3:20, eagerly awaiting, & Colossians 4:2, That misinterpreted.
Then one day I read: Amos 5:18-24,
People long for Mercy, Justice, correct judgement that may be the root of the plea, prayer.
However Jesus instruction was pray "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven " Matthew 6:9-13,
Daniel 7:27, Psalms 145:13, John 17, note John 17:15-16, Luke 17:20-21,
from whom you learned that "the word dog in Deuteronomy 23:v.18 is a reference to a male prostitute. One does not know the source of the money he or she receives in the winnings from gambling, some of which could be "dirty money" (e.g., gotten from white collar crime, theft, drug sales, the sale of pornographic literature)?
See, the Word is GOD. GOD did not refer to the things you said above by your interpretation of GOD's Word regardings to the "dog"; no, absolutely, the Word does not refer to those things you have said.
That said, who is he to whom the Word of God refers to as DOG? - GOD answers us by His Word- Isaiah 56:v.10-12:
10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb DOGS, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
11 Yea, they are greedy DOGS which can never have enough, and they ARE SHEPHERDS that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
12 Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink (false doctrines); and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
Paul Apostle warned: Philippians 3:v.2 - Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the circuncision.
And JESUS left very very clear, saying: Revelation 22:v.15-16
15 For without are DOGS, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
Dear LEON DAVIS, what you wrote above has nothing to do with the Word of GOD. Your interpretation of the Word of GOD- Deuteronomy 23:v.18- is a mere human conception of you, something from your imagination, or even conjectures, opinions, or guessings.
Be careful with the Word of GOD. The Word is GOD, understand?
12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
15 For without are DOGS, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
But who are these dogs among us? The answer is in Isaiah 56:v. 8-11
8 The Lord God, which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
I thank the Lord for delivering you from drug addiction and Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

God bless you and may the Lord keep you under his wings of safety, Psalms 17:8 and my prayers are with you.
There are many scripture reference about healing throughout the Bible! If you are unfamiliar with these, may I suggest getting a small "Promises hand booklet" these are inexpensive and wonderful, it has Scripture verses for various topics. It would help you, understanding God's promises and what our Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross, for he laid down his life for us, so we can have eternal life! Praise God! He is the lamb of God so we may receive salvation and healing and the promises of God to those who believe and receive him as Lord and savior!
Concerning "Crystals" it is not a Christian practice, but a new age doctrine and occult religion!! So, please stay away from that! Yes, Anointing oil is still used today and according to The New Testament in the Bible (see James) the elders of the church anointed with oil as they prayed for those who are sick. It is still practiced today. However, Everyone should pray in faith and asked the Lord Jesus to heal for those that are sick. by His stripes we were healed! God is faithful to hear and answer our prayers! I hope this helps. God bless you!
James 5:14 tells us, "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."
I would really have someone spiritually anointed deal with anointing oil. We're talking about the power of God, and you want to make sure that God's anointing is on that oil.
Otherwise, you might be stepping outside of the will of God.
Regardless of the remedies you choose to use all healing is through the blood of CHRIST. Keep praising GOD and thank HIM for your healing. Affirm HIS promise to you from Isaiah 53:4 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted." GOD will speak to your heart, if you listen and obey. God bless you and may you be blessed with HIS healing touch.
Msconnie, may the Spirit (truth) grace you with HIS wisdom and HIS understanding.
Very FEW understand the kingdom or heaven or HEAVEN or THE GOSPEL or the good news.
WHERE DOES GOD DWELL?
Luke 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for behold, the kingdom of God IS WITHIN YOU.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God DWELLETH in you?
1 Kings 8:27 But will God indeed DWELL ON THE EARTH? behold the HEAVEN and HEAVEN OF HEAVENS cannot contain THEE; how much less this HOUSE (TEMPLE) that I have builded?
Hebrews 3:6 For Christ is a Son over his own HOUSE; whose HOUSE WE ARE....
Hebrews 9:1-2 .....WE have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the THRONE ( Isaiah 66:1) of the majesty in the HEAVENS; (YOU)
(vs 2) A minister of the sanctuary, and TRUE TABERNACLE, which the Lord pitched and not man.
Psalms 148:4 Praise him, YE HEAVEN OF HEAVENS...
Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in HEAVEN....
Hebrews 12:23
Romans 8:29
Colossians 1:27 .....CHRIST IN YOU
You never die if ye are born of the SPIRIT you just change bodies.

Speaking of dog, what matters and prevails is what is written in Isaiah 56:10-11: 10 His watchmen are blind:they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark;sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.

Part 2.
Revelation 19:19 amplifies. that. Hasn't happened yet.
CONCERNING THE SACRIFICES.
God bless.

Is it justice to speak up, to inform others? I ask you to seek GOD's direction & discernment on these. I'm reminded of: Matthew 5,
Hopefully these are helpful

But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

33 Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things.
34 Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast.
35 They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet AGAIN.

1. to observe a Sabbath: you really have to plan
2 someone has to prepare beforehand
3. Shop for things beforehand
4. It opened my understanding of the scripture & GOD's compassion
Here are multiple scriptures on the Sabbath :
Genesis 2:2,3 (set Sabbath apart), Exodus 16:19-30 (significant differece on Sabbath) , * Exodus 23:11, Exodus 20:11 (blessed & set apart), * Exodus 23:12, Exodus 31:15, Exodus 34:21, Exodus 35:2, Leviticus 16:29-34 (atonement), Leviticus 23:1-10, (seventh day & Passover), * Leviticus 23:21-22, Leviticus 23:27-29 (atonement), Leviticus 23:28-32, * Deuteronomy 5:14, 2 Chronicles 2:4 (forever to Israel), * Isaiah 1:11-18, * Isaiah 56:1-8, * Isaiah 58:6-14,

* please note the (*s) these were scriptures that showed compassion & the importance to GOD. (Opposite: Luke 11:42-46 hypocrisy)
By observing the Sabbath do we= Matthew 25:31-46,
from whom you learned that "the word dog in Deuteronomy 23:v.18 is a reference to a male prostitute.
Beware of dogs... Dogs? Who are them?
JESUS said: Revelation 22:v.12 and 15
12 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
And the TAIL of the red Dragon? Who are them?
The Word of GOD reveals who are them.
I thank the Lord for delivering you from drug addiction and Jeremiah 32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Micah 7:19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
I have been listening to youtube-Honest News network- Brother Joseph Skinner and I have learned a lot and there are a lot of up load there.
God bless. Amen
