Nataleigh - another commentary explains it like this: The Sun of Righteousness is Jesus Christ and it is in reference to the millenial reign of Christ after the anti-christ has been done away with. In Jeremiah he references Jesus as our Righteousness and in other passages Jesus is referred to as our sunrise.
God’s desire has always been to provide righteousness to those who trust Him (e.g., Genesis 15:6). On some occasions, God’s people were said to be “clothed in righteousness” ( Job 29:14; Psalm 132:9; Isaiah 61:10), and here in Malachi 4:2 God’s people will see the Sun of Righteousness Himself rising over the world. It’s a picture of the future millennial reign of Jesus Christ. The darkness of the Antichrist’s reign will vanish, and the light of God will take its place. It’s a new day dawning; God’s people will revel in their freedom like gamboling calves leaping from their stalls ( Isaiah 65:17-25; Hosea 14:4-7; Amos 9:13-15; Zephaniah 3:19-20).

@ Sandie, when Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, He started off with: Our father which art in heaven... Luke11:2. So yes our prayers do go to heaven. Isaiah 61:1

5. We are married and given in marriage (man and woman only) in this world, but in heaven after the judgment seat of Christ the bride (born again church age believers) is given in marriage to the lamb of God (Jesus Christ), Revelation 19:7-9;
6. The bride for Jehovah God is the Old Testament saints ( Isaiah 61:10);
7. The holy scriptures likens us to angels because they are spiritual created beings and because all angels in the bible are men (no female angels exist in the bible);
8. There is no mention of unbelievers being married after this life in the bible, because part of their torment in hell is separation from everybody and most of all separation from God, total darkness.

No man knows the time of the day of The Lord, Isaiah 61:1 does not state the year it simply states; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD Which only our Heavenly Father knows. The world economy is tied to the US Dollar so the world economy is failing too. Nuclear desstruction is coming to America as fortold. As for the rapture, that is not an entirely false doctrine.The angels are sealing the 144,000 elect and the 1/3 of Israel (not spiritual Israle not the Jew(ish) peoples that Rev 2:9 & 3:9 speak of) but the True jews who are flesh decendents of Jacob. Yes they are alive today preaching the true Gospel. And everybody will know soon who they are. They are the ones that will be protected from the impending destruction.
