Discuss Isaiah 62

    Israel

Romans 11:16-24 shows Israel as distinct from the Church: the "natural branches" are the Jews, and the "wild branches" are the Gentiles.

The "olive tree" is the collective people of God. The "natural branches" (Jews) are "cut off" the tree for unbelief, and the "wild branches" (believing Gentiles) are grafted in. This has the effect of making the Jews "jealous" and then drawing them to faith in Christ, so they might be grafted in again and receive their promised inheritance.

The natural branches are still distinct from the "wild branches," so that God's covenant with His people is literally fulfilled.

    Romans 11:26-29, citing Isaiah 59:20-21 Isaiah 27:9; Jeremiah 31:33-34

Isaiah 62:11-12 "Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Moses' prediction of Israel's permanent restoration to the land in Deuteronomy 30:1-10.

Moses said, "THE LORD YOUR GOD WILL CIRCUMCISE YOUR HEARTS!!

SO HOW WILL "ALL ISRAEL BE SAVED?

Zechariah 8-14 , which speak of end-times Israel at Christ's return.

The key verse describing the coming to faith of the future remnant of Israel is Zechariah 12:10.

This occurs at the end of the tribulation.

    Also; Zechariah 8:7-8.

Israel will be regathered from the ends of the earth ( Isaiah 11:12.

    Isaiah 62:10.

    Zechariah 13:8-9

Isaiah 12:1-6 is their song of deliverance.

Isaiah 62:5 (KJV) For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Isaiah 62:5 is indeed a poetic and metaphorical passage that compares the relationship between God and the people of Israel to that of a young man marrying a virgin and a bridegroom rejoicing over the bride. It emphasizes the joy and love that God has for His people. This passage is often cited to illustrate the intimate and loving nature of the relationship between God and His people.

However, it's important to note that this passage, like many in the Bible, is metaphorical and symbolic in nature. It uses the imagery of a marital relationship to convey the idea of God's deep love and care for His people. It is not meant to be taken as a direct instruction for individuals to view themselves as the "wife of Christ" in the same way that human marriages are understood.

    > Rev 21:9 .... I will show you the bride (both men and women), the Lamb's WIFE .......

Revelation 21:9 uses metaphorical language, likening believers to Christ's bride to convey a close spiritual relationship, not a literal marriage. Not to be used in support of Ephesians

    >Repent means to change ones BELIEFS.

One may ask for forgiveness from sin and obtain it, but that doesn't mean they truly repented from that sin. TRUE repentance is like a burning house you don't go back to it!

Please don't insinuate I need to "repent" as I am not the one who wrote blasphemous statements such as the one below in your original post below.

STU I hear ya...Thats y Jesus was born for us sinners....He is our savior....Jesus is exactly what we sinners need...That New Heart and New spirit...A new innerman...The H.G....Thats y he said if i be lifted up i will draw all men unto me...And that great Promise was that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven...Thats y the sower of that good seed wants to sow his precious seed in our hearts..That we might birth a baby Christ the H.G..That Child of Promise...That we might be bornagain of his incorruptible seed which is that living word....Making humanity incorruptible..Resulting in an Israel of God which are spirits that are gonna be born in us sinners via his seed....Thats y he has to know us...Thats y they refer to Jesus as the bridegroom he wants to sow his seed in our hearts...Thus there is a baby christ in our future...Which is the H.G. That Child of Promise....And in Rev 12 :10 the Kingdom comes after the woman births the manchild which is the H.G the Kingdom...The Kingdom of God is not in meat or drink but in joy and peace in the H.G. Romans 14:17...Thats y Jesus was saying unless you receive the Kingdom of God as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...The reason we refer to the H.G. as the Promise is B/C the H.G. is the multiplication of JESUS IN US SINNERS VIA HIS PRECIOUS SEED the word....That was the great Promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven in us sinners via his seed ....God so loved the world implying humanity...And God was so passionate about this Promise of multiplication that he swore by his very self....in Hebrews 6:13...Thats y Jesus was saying to whom the word came it made them Gods...And the scripture cannot be broken...Thus we will be married to God making us 1 with God.... Isaiah 62:5...As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy God rejoice over you...ok Gbu

Good morning....Let me talk about that New Creature for just a Min...Which is the H.G. that is new to us but old to God...Mat.13 :52...Jesus said they shall bring forth things out of their treasure new and old....Which is our new innerman the H.G. as that which is born of the spirit is spirit...Our new hearts and new spirit....That New Creature...The H.G....Nothing availeth anything in Christ Jesus but a New Creature....not circumcision nor uncircumcision....only a New Creature which is the H.G. the Child of Promise...The Regeneration and multiplication of Christ Jesus is us via his precious seed the words of that New Covenant...I will know them all impling a baby Christ the H.G. The Child of PROMISE...And the only Elect....We the Church answers to the Elect lady but the H.G. is the absolute Christ the Elect Son....The bride is a joint heir with Christ the bridegroom....The Elect son who is heir to everything the father has....All that the father has is mine and all mine is thine....Simply b/c they are the Elect Couple to inherit the Kingdom...But unless you receive the Kingdom as a lil Child you will in no wise enter there in...This New covenant is a birthing Covenant....Thats y he has to know us....We marry our son which has been born to us the H.G... Isaiah 62:5...Thats y Isaiah is saying as a young man marries a virgin so shall thy SONS MARRY THEE...As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee....Our son is the H.G the son of man...The regeneration of Christ Jesus in us via his seed his words...Our sons is the H.G. That has been born in us, that New Creature.

Psalms 62:5....Kiss the son lest he be angry with thee which is our husband...Our new innerman ...the H.G...The gift of God...The elect Son...ok mi voy....We the Church are tHE ELECT LADY....John said he saw the new Jerualem coming down from heaven as a bride adorned for her husband... Rev 21:2

Gi Gi Gbu But there is a simple way we can know without a doubt who is of God and who is not...You have stated your position several times in the pass that God cannot multiply himself....We cannot be Gods is your postion..As others in this forum...Remember ..So now let me have your attention for just a sec...And i love ya sweety in the Lord...But listen Jesus tells us to whom the word came it made them Gods... John 10:35...And the scripture cannot be broken....But you don't believe that as some others in this forum...And in Psalms :82:6 I have said ye are Gods ....Impling that Jesus can multiply very God in us via his seeds his words...They don't call him the bridegroom for nothin...Thats y he has to know us. That N.C...The words in the book that he wrote with his own blood....And Jesus said the very Kingdom of God is gonna be with in you...Not here nor there but WITHIN you... Luke 17:21....So plz tell me sister Gi-Gi how can the Kingdom of God be with in us...And we not be Gods...So ya can readily and easily see who is of God and who is not....Its simply them that believe his words...But them that don't believe his words are the reprobates...And in his prayer he prayed that God wd make them 1 John 17 :21..There wd be no way we cd be made 1 with God Almighty ( the marriage ) and we not be Gods...And don't give me that upper case lower case thing...Simply b/c there is no upper case or lower case in Hebrew.... Ephesians 5:30...plainly tells us we are gonna be made bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh....So that does away with the lower case and upper case analogy....Its gonna be a Genuine Marriage in the spiritual realm...As the bridegroon rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee... Isaiah 62:5....GBU Gi-Gi...And have a good week end...

alex1939...Bob good question...Truly something to think about the "Church"...But under this New Covenant at Calvary the Church became...The Bride..Now its our bodies that are his temple...Abide in me and i in you...I am the true vine and you are the branches...Thats y he has to know us, Under this New Covenant there has to be a Heavenly Birth via his Seed his Words...Thus the very Kingdom of God is gonna be with in us...There is gona be a Change in the Church via this New Covenant...If any man hears my words and keeps them my Father and i will come and take our abode within him...We have a new priesthood now b/c of this N.C...And this N.C is Christ in us the hope of Glory...At Pentacost we see a N.C. taking place...in the hearts of Jew and Gentiles alike Which was the gift of the H.G. That Child of Promise was born to them, in their hearts, they became the very Temple of God

....Long ago Gen. 22:17..God Almighty made a promise that Christ wd be multiplied as the stars of heaven and God swore by this Promise...Thats y the sower of that incorruptible seed wants to sow his seed in our hearts...That we might birth Christ in our hearts the Son of MAN...That Child of Promise...Thats y Jesus refered to the H.G as the Promise the H.G. is the multiplication of very God...To whom his words came ( Jesus Words ) the living words it made them Gods and the scripture cannot be broken...And we are gona be his TEMPLE...Forever...And we are gonna marry the H.G. OUR SON... Isaiah 62:5...As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy sons marry thee...The son of man is our only son the H.G....Our 1st born from above.

Jesus cd not tell everything till all was fulfilled...He cd not offend till all was fulfilled..Thats y the scrip. is saying these things are hid from the wise and prudent but revealed unto babes...The woman in Rev 12:5 could not give birth to the Children of Promise till that book was opened...Thats when they sang a new song..We will no more sing this churchanity song.GBU

    Dear sister

Before we take a decision about everything in our life we have to ask God first to advice us. He will find a way to bring His message to us. We have to wait until He answers back (and we have to be sure that He answered). We don't do a move unless He tells us to do so. All that obviously for serious reasons. We don't do our move hoping that that is God's will. It may be not. What makes us think it is? In the Book of Acts Paul and Silas went to Macedonia because the Spirit directed them towards there. If they went somewhere else they would have preached the gospel in vain. Sometimes a thing that seems to us to be the best thing to do, is not actually. When Lot chose the place near Sodome and Gomorrah because there was a lot of grass and water for his sheep, he couldn't have known that God was going to destroy those places in the future. At the time it seemed the best move, but it wasn't. We see the present but God sees the future.

Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, COUNSELLOR,The mighty God,The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

And now what? What do I do if I have done a mistake? Then I must know that God can find a way to fix it. But we have to wait and trust in the Lord (and have our ears open). He will eventually lead us to light again.

Isaiah 58:12 "And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in."

So what we do now is:

Isaiah 62:7 "And GIVE HIM NO REST, TILL HE ... establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.(or anything else)"

Stay strong in the Lord. He will do the best for you.

Isaiah 49:15-16 "Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee"

Hiya Adam GBU ....Lemme speak to you for a Sec....In Hebrews there are no upper case or lower case letters....Its just Gods And in Gen 26:4...That is not addressing just Abraham but also Jesus as Gal.3:15 tells us....Now unto Abraham and his seed were the Promises made but he says not seeds plural but unto 1 seed which is CHRIST....Thus its Christ that is gona be multiplied as the stars of Heaven....Thats y the sower will go forth to sow his precious seed in our hearts that we might birth a Baby Christ the H.G. THAT CHILD OF Promise....Thus the Woman in Rev 12:5....And that Child that the woman gives birth to is a Baby God...The H.G...As he said that which is BORN BORN of the spirit is Spirit as our God is Spirit....And Adam we are gonna be marrried to that Child the H.G.....Which is spirit...Thus 1 ST COR.15:53....We are gonna put on incorruption and IMMORATALITY...A marriage is when 2 are made 1....And immorality is Godliness..And we are gonna bemaried to this IMMORALITY...God Almighty.

... Isaiah 62:5....As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy sons marry thee....We are gona marry our Sons, the H.G that we have given birth to which is Spirit....We are gonna marry our sons which is the H.G. that we have given birth to from that good seed the living word...Remember what Jesus said whosoever receiveth one such Child in my name receiveth me..

...And Adam we cannot receive his Spirit without being married to God....Its gonna be a hugh number that no man can number...As the stars of Heaven in multitudes....That was the essence of that great Promise...meaning every body....When he said I will pour out of my Spirit on all flesh....Thats an Israel of God Number....If i be lifted up i will draw ALL MEN unto me....Satan does not want any body knowing their rights under the NEW Covenant that our lord gave to us by his Blood at Calvary.....This is my Blood of the New Covenant..Drink ye all of it.... Jeremiah 31:34 New Covenant i will KNOW them ALL from least to GREATEST..

GM Jesse very well but let me tell you that Isaiah 11:1 mentions a Grandson. Solomon was the Granson in the Davidic kingdom,...Just as Solomon the Granson came out of Davids loins....So the H.G. will come out of Christ loins meaning his Words his breath....Remember when he breathe on them they received the H.G.....Isaiah lived approx. 300 yrs after this Davidic kingdom but Isaiah was still preaching a Davidic kingdom was coming in the last days....A Jesse,David Solomon type of a kingdom was coming in the last days when the lord will set his hand AGAIN a 2 nd time to recover his ppl...In Isaiah 11:11

......Remember God wd not let David the son build that great Temple.....He wd only let Solomon the granson build the temple and Jesus tells us a greater then Solomon is here....The H.G. is a greater and wiser king then Solomon that is gonna build a greater Temple in our hearts and minds and in every fiber of our being....As Jesus said the kingdom is gona be with you....Our bodies is now his temple....Abide in me and i in you....We are gonna marry the H.G. THE GRANSON....As a young man marries a virgin so shall thy SONS ( the H.G. ) marry thee.....As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride so shall thy God rejoice over thee.... Isaiah 62:5...The H.G. is our son simply b/c we have to birth the H.G. That Child of Promise the son of man and is also the bridegroom....And Jesus indentifies with this Jesse/David/Solomon Kingdom....Saying i am the root and offspring of David the bright and the moring star....But Jesus said these things are HID ( they make zero sense ) to the wise and prudent but are revealed unto babes.....The babes and sucklings he mentions ..Gods Grandchildren.. Spirits the H.G......An Israel of God.....That new born babe desiring the sincere milk of the word is the H.G. the Grandson our new heart and new spirit....Only Jesus can father this spritual child...As Isaiah refers to him JESUS .as everlasting FATHER....Without his seed the H.G. cannot be born in us

Revelation 3:12 And he that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall no more go out, and I will WRITE UPON HIM THE NAME OF MY GOD, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him MY new NAME.

    Hello Fabian TAIMABRI,

    Genesis 1:27, notice: Genesis 1:26,28,29,

Genesis 2:7, interestingly here "formed, breathed life" is this symbolic of the Church the body of Christ to come? John 12:25, Genesis 3:22, John 5:26, John 5:24, John 3:36, John 6:48,54, Titus 1:2, Romans 8:6, John 5:39,

Is chapter 2, symbolic of the stewardship of GOD's Church? Genesis 2:15, Matthew 20:8, Luke 12:42, Mark 12,

Back to Genesis 1, "man appears to be collective for both" yes in name like human, humanity, humankind "man"

see even more interesting = Genesis 5:2,

GOD says distinctly female & male Genesis 1:27,

It appears it could be those created to multiply, fill the earth, subdue were away from the presence of GOD, again seeming to point to the symbolism in the garden "in the presence of GOD " His church. Genesis 3:8, Genesis 3:23-24, Genesis 4:14-16,

    Genesis 2:17, spiritual death? Matthew 8:22, Luke 9:60, Matthew 22:32, Matthew 23:27,

In the forming of Eve, it appears also specific, spiritual & special with symbolism, Genesis 2:21-25, Genesis 6:1-3, Mark 10:4-9, 1Corinthians 6:15, Revelation 21:2,9, Isaiah 62:5, John 3:29-36, Matthew 22, Luke 12:36, Ephesians 5:30-32,

    1Corinthians 13:9-12, James 1:5, Ephesians 3:4,

    Hopefully these are all helpful

Hello Edith. Revelation 1:16 is but one verse within the whole Book of the Revelation given to the Apostle John, to record what he sees ( Revelation 1:19). And what the risen Lord Jesus revealed to him in this verse was a part of how Jesus appeared to him (vv 13-16).

In verse 16, John saw seven stars in Jesus' right Hand. We understand that these stars represented the angels (possibly, the leaders) of the seven Churches (the golden candlesticks) in Asia Minor (Turkey): v 20. These were real assemblies of believers in those seven cities & were precious to the Lord, as is indicated by His position amongst them & having them close to Him (in His right Hand). Yet, as we read in the following chapters, not all of them were pure in His Sight & they would be judged & disciplined. Yet the Lord would persevere with them (as He does with us when we go astray) as He also did with Israel, when the promise was given them, "Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God." ( Isaiah 62:3).

John also saw a sharp two-edged sword proceeding from Jesus' Mouth. This is the primary weapon that Jesus uses to subdue His enemies (maybe at that great final battle). We know that the sword is often used to denote the Word of God ( Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12; Revelation 19:13). And God's Word is Truth - it is pure, it cuts & divides, it converts, it blesses. No enemy, both now & in that final day, will be able to withstand God's Truth. Where they once rejected it, even rejecting God's Word made flesh, they will feel the keenness of the 'blade' & will fall, succumbing to the power of that Word. Even Satan flees when God's Word is brought to bear upon him.

And Jesus' countenance appeared to John as the midday Sun in its zenith. One can imagine John turning away from such Brightness. As we read in Malachi 4:2, "the Sun of righteousness" arises to heal those who fear Him, but will also burn the chaff into ashes of those who do wickedly.

    On ISAIAH 62:2

By nature every person is born in sin through the sinful seed of their natural fathers and conditioned therein ( 1 Peter 1:23). For that reason and in order to become a son of God, which are born of God, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God, a person must be 'Born Again' ( John 1:12,13; 3:3-7; 1 John 3:9; 5:4).

By attending a man-made institution a few hours a week ( Acts 7:48; 17:24), does not mean that a person can make a claim that they are followers of Christ and 'Born Again'. That is falsehood, as in truth they follow after an image of a false god and a false Christ ( Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; Gal. 4:8; Rev. 12:9). This is how Satan has transformed Himself into an angel of light ( 2 Cor. 11:13-15).

Only through 'True Repentance' will God be able to reveal Himself, and adopt you as His sons and daughters ( Rom. 8:15,23; 2 Cor.6:18; Gal. 4:5; Eph. 1:5; Hebr. 12:5; 1 John 3:1).

The word 'Repent' means a lot more than what people by nature have been conditioned to believe. It is the key principle of all the teachings of Jesus Christ and the axiom (basis) of the Word of God and a prerequisite and primary requirement for the salvation of mankind. It actually means the changing of spirits - to turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God ( Acts 26:18).

For a better understanding and the 'spiritual truth' of what it means to repent, and learn how and by whom mankind has been deceived ( Rev. 12:9), and what people must do to be reunited with the true and living God, we invite you to seek Him according to the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive ( John 14:17).

You need not that any man teach you ( Isaiah 54:13; 6:45; 1 John 2:27), It is only by revelation of God that you will come to know Christ ( Daniel 12:4,9; Amos 3:7; Matthew 16:17; Luke 2:26; Romans 16:25; 1 Cor. 2:10; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 3:3,5; Rev. 1:1). It is a narrow way that leadeth unto 'Life', and few there be that find it ( Matthew 7:14).

Hello again Eric. I would ask for your forgiveness if what I wrote seemed impersonal by just throwing Bible verses out to you. My intent was only to share what I know to be true, as I love you as a brother even though I don't know you. When I first saw your post, I couldn't help thinking that you were searching for something and I truly want you to find the peace that only Jesus can give.

Eric, your name (unless it is a pseudonym) indicates that you converted to Islam. I may be wrong, but I mention that, so I could know your position, the country you hail from & more importantly what questions specifically you would like answers to, so I can properly answer. Pauline has given you some very special portions of Scripture reminding you & me of God's great love for all of us, no matter our religion & stage in life, & also of God's Gift of Salvation through the sending of Jesus Christ. However, since I have had some Muslim friends in the past when in Pakistan, & done studies in Islam, your questions become very important to me, so that I know how I should answer you. So, please detail your questions.

ERIC: For God so loved the World...that's everybody. Everyone has the same opportunity to draw close to God who created all we see and know. Set aside your religion for a time and explore who God says He is.

The Bible is spiritually discerned for everybody; whether Jew, Gentile, Greek, Palestinian, or middle eastern descent. It will be hard to understand until you ask God the Father to help you read it. Start in the gospel of John, chapter 3 verses 1 to 8. That's where Jesus tells you that you must be born again to understand the spiritual. Verse 3

This is how we all started. You can't sit on a fence between Muslim and Christian. I will only say that Eternal Life with the God of the universe comes through Jesus.

    1 Corinthians 15: 1-5/ Romans 10: 9-10

    Matthew 10: 32-33

What kind of person would I be to lie and not tell the truth? I had to walk this road too. I'm telling you this is the way. Joy unspeakable.

For God so loved the world (this means you) that he gave his only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

But God demonstrates his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried and that he rose again on the third day according to the scriptures and that he was seen of Cephas then of the the twelve and after that about five hundred brethern at once. For by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is a gift of God, not of works lest any man should boast. John 3:1-8 tells the story of Nicodemus where Jesus tells us we must be "born again".

I pray that you find the way, the truth and the life !!

Rejoice all ye trusting in John 3:16-21 because the battle is won and the celebration at THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB has been made ready for all who obeyed John 3:16-21. Revelation 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto THE MARRIAGE SUPPER OF THE LAMB. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

God will fight for HIS own. To make us sought out and no more forsaken. In order for this to happen, we need to call out HIS name and not hold our peace till we inherit the promise.
