I believed that faith comes only by hearing the word of God. God himself will give us his faith. What a loving Father and Jesus is always good all the time. thanks to Jesus for his precious blood that shed for us, His Resurrection, His Ascencion and thanks for sending us the Holy Spirit. Jesus loves endures forever. Amen

Each time I put my trust in the Lord I Always see His hand helping me but when I look somewhere else, I never get any help. Faith in God all the time plants me near the fresh waters...Lets put our Faith and Hope in the creator not created things. Our troubles today are because of not trusting God ...

A human being without God 's Knowledge, who has been swayed and deceived by Satan 's nature, is one who is "deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. "

jeremiah 17:11 is a clear warning to every individual who loves money regardless of how he or she could get it either clean or unclean way. these set of people are Esau of old who for mundane and ephemeral things of world can lay the blessings of the future on the altar of the present and sacrifice it. they are people who valued things of temporal than things of eternal, 2 Chorintians 4:18.

THIS CHAPTER TALKS ABOUT THE PUNISHMENT OF THE SOUTHERN KINGDOM OF YISRAEL FOR REPEATEDLY BREAKING YAHUAH COMMANDMENTS. HE KEPT WARNING THEM BUT THEY WERE STIFF NECKED AND WOULDNT OBEY, SO HE SOLD THEM INTO SLAVERY AND STREW THEM ALL OVER THE GLOBE TO PUNISH THEM AND THEIR CHILDREN. THEIR 400 CAPTIVITY IS ALMOST OVER AND HE WILL GATHER THEM FROM WHERE HE SCATTERED THEM AND RETURN THEM THAT KEEPS HIS LAWS BACK TO THE LAND OF YISRAEL. SHALOM

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it. Jeremiah 17:9 The first Adam sought his own will in the first garden and incurred a death sentence for all mankind. The second Adam Jesus Christ said in the second garden- "not my will, but thy will... " Thanks be unto God that we are purchased by the blood of the Lamb and we can confess our sins, John 1:9 and be perfect in Him- Genesis 17:1 and that our "righteousness exceeds the scribes and pharisees " of old.

Verse 9 encourages me. My heart IS deceitful above all things but God knows that and he talks gently to me and helps me to move away from what offends Him and brings me closer to Him.

  • Suanne on Jeremiah 17:13 - 10 years ago
This verse tells us that what Jesus was writing in the earth when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Him was the names of the pharisees who were condemning her, because it was they who were actually in the act of forsaking Him at that very moment. Jesus wrote their names in the earth...and they were aware of this verse, and they knew what He was illustrating for them.....because they knew who He was...i.e., see John chapter 3 and Jesus ' conversation with Nicodemus.

Verse 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in th Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. Verse 26th And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD. My hope is in nothing else but the Lord. I will PRAISE MY GOD EVEN WHEN IT HURTS!
