Pochalla, may the Spirit grace you with HIS wisdom and His knowledge.
Let's try with the Spirits working to perceive what the Spirit calls the DAY OF THE LORD.
Amos 5:18-21 Woe unto you that DESIRE THE DAY OF THE LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the Lord is DARKNESS, AND NOT LIGHT.
(20) Shall not the DAY OF THE LORD be darkness and not light? even very dark and no brightness in it?
Joel 2:31 The sun shall be turned in darkness, and the moon into blood, BEFORE THE GREAT AND THE TERRIBLE DAY OF THE LORD COME.
Is this prophecy yet in the future or has it already been fulfilled? Other scriptures and the symbols represented in them provide the answers.
Psalm 89:34-37 .....(36) His (David's) seed (Christ) shall endure forever, and his (Christ) throne as the sun before me. (vs) It (Christ and his throne) shall be established forever as the MOON, AND AS A FAITHFUL WITNESS IN HEAVEN.
Revelation 1:5 And from JESUS CHRIST, who is my FAITHFUL WITNESS IN HEAVEN. The Psalm says the MOON is the faithful witness implying the moon is symbolic of Jesus.
The prophecy says the sun shall be turned into darkness, and the MOON into blood. Has this already happened?
Matthew 27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
John 19:34 ...and forthwith came there out BLOOD...
THE DAY OF THE LORD is every day and has been going on now for two thousand years.
Christ through the working of the Holy Spirit has been coming (the second time lake a thief in the night to those who look for him).
Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; AND UNTO THEM THAT LOOK FOR HIM SHALL HE APPEAR THE SECOND TIME WITHOUT SIN UNTO SALVATION.
Disappointment comes to all of us as we remain in hope that something we've planned for or what has been told us, fails to materialize. It is an unnerving experience that can render some people quite helpless, but God is there for times such as these.
Romans 12:2 says it this way: "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." Even though we generally understand this verse warning the believer not to behave as the unsaved world does & adopt a new way of thinking, it also has implications to the believer not to conform to the world that sets its hope on the finite & material aspects of it, rather than putting faith in the God Who knows & does all things well.
The believer does at times suffer disappointments, but ought to immediately look heavenward & commit himself & those matters to the Lord Who will bring it to pass in His Time, & generally in a manner above what we could have expected or planned for.
Some other Scriptures to reflect upon: Philippians 4:6,7; Romans 8:28; Jeremiah 29:11; Psalm 73:23-26; Psalm 121:1-8; Psalm 42:11; Matthew 6:33; Proverbs 3:5,6; 1 Peter 5:6,7; John 14:27; Hebrews 13:5. And many more, to show us there is comfort & help as we wait upon the Lord with our concerns & disappointments in this life.
For years, both Israel & Judah continually turned their faces from serving God to serve idols & commit other sins. For this, they went into captivity as punishment. But the Lord promised them to bring them out of captivity & so we read (of Judah) in Jeremiah 29:10-14, where the Lord said that after 70 years He will visit them again & they will once again call upon the Name of the True God, they will pray to Him, & He will listen to Him; they will seek Him & find Him when they search for Him with all their heart.
Every day is the short answer, But I think you are talking about the gathering together to worship. Jews still use Saturday. Christians use the Lords day Sunday.
Dear all. Does anyone know how to read the numbers system in "The table for the order of the Psalmes..."? Every day of the month is with the recommendation of a Psalm, except the number of the Psalm is written as letters: rrrbiii.ribi and so on.
Legal immigration...LEGAL!. We welcome all who wish to become an American and the first step is to use the LEGAL routes of entry.
Can I illegally enter God's kingdom? NO. Accepting Jesus Christ as my redeemer gives me legal entry into His kingdom. Without it, I will be cast out where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
(Pray for our ministers that are teaching Gods Word, every day.)
Matthew 14:23
And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart TO PRAY: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.
Matthew 24:20
But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Mark 13:33
Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
Luke 6:28
Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
Luke 18:1
And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
>The reason it says pray that your flight be not on the sabbath, is because the Jews can't go over a certain distance. They wouldn't be able to flee to the mountains as another scripture tells us.
>If we are not living a prayerful lifestyle..we are just fooling ourselves on how spiritual we think ourselves to be. That is Not an accusation.
If you think that was unkind of me to say that, then go listen to some Charles Stanley sermons on a life of prayer, on YouTube. He teaches on tv every Sunday too.
Every day should be a day of praying. The day is not the important matter. The important thing is that we have an everlasting relationship with God through Jesus Christ who shed his blood on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead for our justification.
Days for worship with others is at our own choosing, whenever we can meet with fellow believers.
Where 2 or more are gathered together in Jesus name; He is in the midst of that prayer. In Jesus Name I am in agreement for the favor of the Lord to open doors for you in this move. I pray you would have His favor with all people that you encounter. I pray He would direct you to safe neighborhoods and near a church that you and your kids can grow as a Christian in.
Every morning pray that all hindering and harassing demons be bound up by the Name of Jesus, and cast into outer darkness. Speak: Resist the devil and he must flee now! In Jesus Name.
((Take care of your bodies; eat and get enough rest. Ask for help. It helped me to just rent a storage unit to put non-essentials in. Give donations to an orphanage if you can.))
We agree together, Lord, that we will submit to your guidance and help. Thank you for being my Savior in all things.

11. Psalm 18:2 "The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold."
Kay I'm praying sis. You know satan only attacks what is not his. God has a plan for you. Read Psalms 91 and trust the word of God. Read the book of James for peace, strength and focus(it is only a few chapters). Fill your heart with His word. Isaiah 26:3 should fill you with peace. Jeremiah 29:11 should fill you with peace.

Mishael to you: in my 68 yrs on earth; a misunderstanding is an opportunity to apologize; give anD receive comfort. Smile.
The heart of the Lord is Mercy.
Grace is unmerited favor. We don't deserve it, but God gives it to us anyway.
My prayer: it takes just the right conditions for the sky to make triple rainbows.
David, once we are born again we will be tormented by the devils just like Paul was Acts:16:16-18.I Abhor almost daily my sins against God and hate the very garment that touches this sinful flesh, but I am rest assured in my salvation in Faith alone in Christ alone! Jeremiah 29:11 and Jude 1:23. If she trusts only in Christ for her salvation then according to God she is saved and God does not lie!
Rev. Jeannie Creola Miller on Jeremiah 29 - 7 years ago
Father, This is not the first time you have hid your face from me to seek you on a deeper level. I can hardly breath, my every thought is you My Father, Lord and King. I need you so desperately. Where can I go? What can I do? My heart pounds for you as the deer pants for the water brook. I'm so hungry and thirsty for your presence. I will search for you .... You are my hidden treasure.
Verse 4 became a lifeline to me in the grief of losing my husband. Never before did I understand grief as "walking through the valley of the shadow of death". I was truly in a valley that was shadowed by the death of my beloved. Jesus walked with me. He protected me from the darkness of despair. He led me right back to Jeremiah 29:11
"And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall ye have peace." What makes people think that all is simply wiped away as if it had never happened when they get saved? We are thankful that God lets us live, and accept where He has us; but we must face the facts of our circumstances as from God also.
In verses 12 and 13, even though the Israelites had repeatedly ignored Jehovah God and left him, He was willing to listen to them and he didn't retaliate by treating them he way they treated him.
Jer. 29:10 - I've read this and the same message in other places, but what was literally thrown a 'light' on for me is the fact that God knew after 70 yrs. they would be ready to return to Him. He knew how long it would take even before He pronounced this judgment. He did this with me; after 34 yrs. of backsliding He KNEW I was ready to come back. I didn't; It was a surprise to me!!!
