Lev 26:15-21 God is speaking to His people, the history of the children of Israel full of this. 2 Chronicles 7:14Jeremiah 3:22Hosea 6:1,2
Christ brings this into the NT John 12:40Acts 28:27
Hebrews 12:5-11 speaking of His children
He does this in His merciful lovingkindness to us, we being so blinded by the deceitfulness of sin, it must be scourge out, define as "to flog" lit or fig, God as a father chastising and training men as children by affliction,
Chastisement; Education or training; by implication, disciplinary correction, chastening, instruction, nurture.
There's two kinds of fear, & many manifestations of each, all grounded in one of the two, godly fear which foundation is grounded in obedient reverential love for God.
The other, Satan counter part, grounded in disobedience which brings torment, where condemnation & guilt in one's own heart follows them wherever they go, for they have offended the Holy God; they having continue in disobedience to the Grace of God which appears in their hearts.
God's love in chastising correction, cast this fear & torment out
& why? John 14:21, which defines love, which makes way for John 14:23 one's habitation becomes a dwelling place for Perfect Love in the work of Sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience & sprinkling of the Blood/Life of Jesus.
thus "for our profit, that we might be partakers of His holiness.
Hebrews 12:11 exercising the Grace of God, the Word of Righteousness in discerning between Good & evil,, there's suffering in the Cross to learn righteousness. 1Pet 4:1
Then we have Job, who God said is perfect, Job 2:3; which trials, suffering & afflictions is of a much higher concept than punishment for disobedience, James 5:11
Hebrews 11:33 for this purpose "obtain a better resurrection"
one eighty, you would do well to live out your call name.
your in darkness, deceived; dwelling, speaking & judging falsely against God
I may be different, but in my understanding of the Bible, I approach scripture simply and do not try to complicate things with preconceived ideas and let the Bible and the Holy Spirit do the interpretation. To me, a symbol will have a non-symbolic meaning.
A symbol represents something real, a real person, a real thing, or a historical event. When I read, I understand words in a literal sense first, then in a figurative or spiritual sense if the literal doesn't make sense.
Are the Christians now the Israel of God? Have the promises to Israel and the church merged into one common heritage? If so that brings up.
Will the promise of the land given to Abraham's seed, Isaac then Jacob be fulfilled? Isaiah 11:11-12Ezekiel 37:21-25Jeremiah 24:5-6Ezekiel 34:11-12Ezekiel 36:24-26Hosea 3:4-5Micah 4:6-7Zechariah 13:8-9
Will Jesus the Messiah return and reign on the earth, with a rod of iron? Isaiah 2:1-4Isaiah 11:1-4Daniel 2:44Daniel 7:14Zechariah 14:1-4Jeremiah 3:17Revelation 2:26-27Revelation 11:15Revelation 12:5Revelation 19:11-21.
Will there be a literal millennium during which Satan will not deceive the nations and Christ will reign on earth? Revelation 20:1-62 Timothy 2:11-12Isaiah 2:2-4Isaiah 11:5-16Isaiah 65:19-25Isaiah 51:4-5Zechariah 14:16-21Micah 4:1-4Psalms 46:7-11Matthew 19:28.
To me there are too many scriptures that are showing God has not replaced Israel with the Church. We see in Romans 11:24-27 a day when God will again turn to Israel, the day Jesus returns. Forgive me if some of the scriptures do not fit.
I do not mind one bit, I feel we are all here for each other. Revelation is to me hard, I feel some things have not been revealed and the events that were shown to John are not written in chronological order. Chapter 15 starts with a sign in heaven of the seven angels having the last plagues filled with the wrath of God.
My understanding is this is after the seven trumpets and with Matt. 24:311 Thess. 4:161 Cor. 15:52 or Rev. 11:15 and Rev. 19:11-15 shows Jesus returns on the last trump so Jesus is on the earth at this time with the ones in the first resurrection. I do not know of any scripture that says Jesus goes back up to heaven after He comes down to reign as King.
So, in Rev. 15:2 where and when is this vision John is seeing? Does Rev. 15:2-3 say this group is the Church or is this event the same event we see in Rev. 20:4 after the battle and Satan is locked up? Rev. 15:4 it is talking about all nations will come and worship the Lord. Is this not during the Millenium reign as in Jeremiah 3:17Zechariah 8:21-22Isaiah 2:3-4 and more?
Rev. 19:7-9 the marriage of the Lamb is come, does not mean at that moment it means all that must be fulfilled for it to happen has been fulfilled, the wife has made herself ready. So when will the marriage and the marriage supper happen? In Rev.19:9 it says "Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb." Is this only the Church? How are we to understand Rev. 21:9-27?
If you would please pray for The LORD to help me through the trials and tribulations that I am going through (Psalm34:19-20, Psalm 3, Psalm 5, Psalm 18, Psalm 144) If you would pray that The LORD would protect and deliver me from The Devil and my enemies ( Psalm 35, Psalm 59, 2 Thess 3:2). Also that The LORD would fight them, and expose their schemes against me and bring them to nought ( Exodus 14:14, Psalm 24:8, Psalm 33:10). Please pray that The LORD provides for all of my spiritual and material needs ( Philippians 4:19). Also, please pray for healing for my backsliding, body, mind, soul and spirit ( Exodus 15:26, Hosea 14:1-4, Jeremiah 3:22) . Please pray that The LORD turns my life situation around like he did for Job ( Job 42:10, James 5:11). Thank you and God bless you ( Revelation 22:21).
God divorced Israel when they broke the covenant: Jeremiah 3:8 Though she saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding
Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
Matthew 5:31 It was said, 'Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement:
32 But I say unto you, That every one that shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to
commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.
If one truly repents, I believe ALL sins are forgiven, but I guess churches don't see it that way, they have their rules, can't change that. sry!
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and turn ye again to Me, that your sins may be (blotted out), in order that ... times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;
Then Peter said unto them, "Repent [change your mind for the better and morally], and be baptized every one of
you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, and ye shall receive the free gift of THE Holy Spirit.
1 Timothy 3:12 Must be another rule of The Church, because Titus doesn't state Children must be in the Faith.
The verse states "well managed children", and not "Children of Faith". Where do you get Children must be in the Faith out of ruling their children, and their own houses? In verse 12
Managing their children is the same as ruling, It means (Well Respected) honorable, commendably, kind enough, honestly, usually morally.
I don't know circumstance's, but for what it's worth,
God is a divorcee,,, I find nothing in Titus 1 disqualifying one of their leadership...
1 Timothy 3:4 Is about subjecting one's children to honesty.
5 is in regard to discipline within one's house, does not pertain to controlling kids outside.
12 The deacons, which are the helpers of the Bishop, not hindrance, Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife; widower's, and divorcees, are still one or none.
Jeremiah 3:8 God is a divorcee, and if God is a divorcee and cannot serve as a leader ? don't buy it
Romans 11 God's gifts are given without repentance,,, if God gives one the gift of leadership, it's given without repentance.
Jeremiah 20:1, Yeah, sad when someone of trusted positions act corrupt, cruel & evil, abusing their authority, especially in the house of The LORD our GOD! Proverbs 15:3, that's why GOD sent Jeremiah to prophecy to them. Jeremiah 1:4-19, Jeremiah 4:1-6, notice Jeremiah 20:1-6, Jeremiah 7,

I understand Jeremiah easier when I've read the whole book.
Jeremiah 1:1-3, Jeremiah had been called by GOD while young, Jeremiah 1:6, to speak very difficult words of Judgement, Jeremiah 1:8-10, in opposition to other "prophetic" voices telling them lies. Jeremiah 5:31,
In Jeremiah 11:19-21 they plotted to kill him.
This seems like to us & most likely to Jeremiah much time in human perspective had passed & GOD had said in Jeremiah 1:12, He would hasten HIS Word to perform it. GOD had promised judgement, yet by Chapter 12, Jeremiah seems frustrated because of the evil. Jeremiah 5:3-4, asks them to repent: Jeremiah 7:5-11,, Jeremiah 3:22 even looks like they repented in Jeremiah 3:22-25,
Jeremiah 5:1,2,
Jeremiah 12:4, the land had been troubled since Jeremiah 2,
Several Prophets suffered much from the people they were sent to. Matthew 23,
As far as I can ascertain; this was the last occurrence of the "glory cloud" in the holy place (v.11-14) recorded in O.T. times. Obviously, we have visions of Ezekiel; Daniel and Isaiah personally into heavenly places; and Revelation shows how the praise of the saints proceeds events in the seal and trumpet judgments. The bowl judgments; however have a similar spin; as no one can enter into the inner sanctuary in heaven until they are completed. ( Rev. 15:8).
The sobering fact is that after Solomon with few exceptions there were kings that were primarily evil; with a few exceptions. Because of Solomon's falling for foreign women; the sins of Molech where child sacrifice was performed repeatedly were done even by these wicked kings. There are a few exceptions where as in 2 Chronicles 34; Josiah burned the bones of the false priests as was prophesied earlier; as well as breaking down many idols and killing others that did such evil practices. Solomon was warned but allowed multiplying of silver and gold and horses to ensnare him in worldly glory ( Deut. 17:17). This verse mentions multiple wives along with that as well as being warned against. The manna mentioned in Exodus 16 as well as Aaron's rod in Numbers doesn't seem to be mentioned here; only the two tablets of God's covenant. I am not entirely sure the reasoning; and no one is sure exactly where the Ark is; although scripture hints that some day there will be no mention of it ( Jeremiah 3:16). This probably hints at the Millennial reign of Christ as to the blessings of multiplied natural descendants at that time.
Here is one of several scriptures in the old testament that refers to ISRAEL.
Isaiah 54:5. For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
This is not the Church or any Individual, It's just a way of Godis is verbally showing his faithfulness and commitment towards Israel.
It is the theme of the relationship between God and Israel throughout the bible.
They keep going after other gods and he punishes them for spiritual fornication.
However he's not a husband to them today, Isaiah 54. is prophetic. " Read the whole chapter ".
Here is where they stand today.
Jeremiah 3:8. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
I do love the point Brother Chris made with 1 Corinthians 7:34. There's no improving on that for a widower.
I would also like to add what's comforting for Israel and the Church.
Psalms 146:9. The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
I'm glad you asked. Mr. D'Ambrosio, I had referred so many scriptures to you that I didn't want to overwhelm, even though I had not finished completely what I wanted to point out in scripture.

Brother Rick, if Herod didn't believe, why did he send soldiers to Bethlehem and kill all the children 2 years old and younger.
They may have been sold out religious leaders but they knew the Scriptures, they knew were the promised messiah was to be born. That's why Herod went to Bethlehem and not some other town.
The real reason Herod went and killed the children is because IT WAS WRITTEN in the prophets, and God's words will not return unto him void but will be fulfilled.
Jeremiah 3:15 Thus saith the Lord, A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, which are not.
I do not know what you are going through, you did not give a lot of detail and that's ok, but may I just speak the plain truth. If you are truly being called back in the fold, the road back may not be short or easy. We cannot just say a prayer or two and everything will be hunky-dory again. Please do not compare what you are dealing with to Job, our words can come to be if you know what I mean.
We must all work out our path of salvation, Ezekiel 18:20Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Read Luke 15:11-32 Are you there yet? The word of God is our only defense against the principalities and powers of evil and believe me, they do not let go easily and they can be quite vicious. Spend every spare minute in His word and prayer, truly repenting, not holding on to anything, if it is any kind of obstacle let it go, even if you lose it all. Revelation 2:5
We must truly admit and understand what we have done. Jeremiah 2:19 We must know it may take time and not at all be easy. Hosea 5:15 When we truly have repented without any doubt, He will return Jeremiah 3:22 2 Hosea 14:4
Jonah was a great man of God, but he backslid from the will of God and went in his direction, not Gods. Look what God sent him to get his attention and change his direction. You can do it but do not get discouraged if things get worse and the temptations, not from God, but from the adversaries trying to hold you back. Turn adversity into strength, for what we lose in this life is nothing to what we will lose in the life to come. Mark 35:8 that's not just our physical life, it is the life we choose to live.
My prayer is for you to have the strength you will need.

THE PROPHECY
Dan: 9:24: Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people (Jews) and upon thy holy city, (Jerusalem) to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins (SIN is the transgression of god's law), and to make reconciliation for iniquity(Christ did that when he died see Isaiah 53, and to bring in everlasting righteousness(see 1john 3:5 in him there is no sin), and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy. Dan: 9:26: """And after threescore and two weeks"""(in the last week) shall Messiah (Jesus) be cut off, (die) but not for himself,( for the sins of the world) and the people (solders') of the prince (Titus PRINCE OF ROME his father was Vespasian Cesar Pontifex Maximus pagan high priest).that shall come( in AD 70) shall destroy the city (Jerusalem) and the sanctuary;(temple) and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
What does ""cut off"" mean Isa: 53:8: He was taken from prison and from judgment:
Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.
This shows ME that I should never allow myself to be taken captive by runaway anger or bad moods.
A.W. Toner wrote a great book, titled LIKE CHRIST. It'll change your life. :D
The Good Shepherd gives his life for the sheep: He never uses His rod or staff to clobber. He guides.
Marilyn, just another question for you (aside from the present discussion), since you mentioned a cross reference of Jeremiah 3:23 to Genesis 3:12. Since I'm still trying to place your understanding of the Bible with what is normally understood by others, & of course taking into account your earlier mention of the pastor who shared some things with you that greatly upset you, I therefore ask you:
What is this Study Bible that you are reading from? Most Bibles will have another name, or at least mentioned within its early pages, give an indication of who has put it together. I mentioned earlier that mine is the KJV Ryrie Study Bible; anyone familiar with Bibles will immediately know the name as Charles C. Ryrie, a department Chairman, from the Dallas Theological Seminary. And if astute enough, they will probably know my theological position on a number of doctrines & teachings. But your interpretation of Scripture, it's cross references, & indeed your focus on perverted sin, tells me that your Bible is 'different' to what most of us read from. Would you care to oblige me this information? Thank you.
S Spencer on spiritual fornication on Matthew 7 - 3 years ago
Thank you Chris on those great verses on fornication you gave. You presented it as a broken relationship between "two" it made me think of a key word in marriage, "Joined". (To be yoked together). That brings me to also think of spiritual fornication, If fornication was any other way than the way you described it, we wouldn't understand the meaning of spiritual fornication. I believe God gives us marriage not just for barring children, but to communicate Christ relationship to the church, and Gods relationship to Israel. Not to mention how would we understand the book of Hosea? We see often in the old testament God called Israel his wife and he was a husband to them. Here is one of many:
Isaiah 54:4-5. Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. Here is one of many verses Israel committing fornication, Jeremiah 3:8. And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God. Fornication defined properly is essential to understanding scripture.
I can't think of a specific verse(s) to what you seek, but certainly there are verses that show that Jerusalem, as the most important city in Israel, will figure now & into the future as God has directed in 2 Chronicles 6:5,6. And we have the following Scriptures as well: Zechariah 14:1-21; Jeremiah 3:17; Isaiah 2:1-4, 9:6,7, 24;23; Joel 3:17; Micah 4:1-5; Luke 1:32,33 showing Jerusalem's importance. With the third Temple to be built there in the future on the Temple Mount (alluded to in Revelation 11:1,2), I think that event will indicate to the world, of Jerusalem's importance & full return to Israel.
I think that this would apply to the verses preceding verse 3: about the husband divorcing his wife, she re-marrying & then returning to her first husband. This is likened to harlotry.
In like manner, Judah had committed harlotry with God by departing from Him & serving idols & doing wickedly. They carried the image of a "whore's forehead" (a whore) who pranced about unashamedly & as if nothing was wrong. For this behaviour, God had withheld rain from them & punished them in other ways.
As we can see in Genesis 1, the earth and darkness(sky) and waters were existed even though there's no mention that God had created them. Thus, the creation of the heavens and the earth in verse 1 let us know that God re-created the heavens and the earth when they already had existed.
If the light of the first day was the sun, what's the sun of the fourth day(the greater light, Gen 1:16)? And the evening and the morning were the first day, how could there be the morning before the sun was created of the fourth day? Thus it doesn't make sense if we interpret the light literally. The Light that God searched on earth was the pastor who had the word of truth and whom God was pleased with(ref. Jeremiah 3:15). Jesus said, 'I have come as a light into the world ( John 12:46),' "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.( John 8:12)." And God said about Jesus who is the light, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"
God chooses a pastor to light up the darkness. Darkness means ignorant spirit(ref. 1 Thessalonians 5:48). There was only darkness before the light was existed on the first day. However, the light, the pastor who had the word of truth appeared, and the truth and untruth were divided. Just as natural light divides darkness and light, night and day.
When there are full of dark spirits due to ignorance, choosing a possessor of truth as light is the first thing that God does when He starts re-creation. God chose pastors whom He was pleased with( Jeremiah 3:15), such as Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus, and He was with them and created new world.
It doesn't matter with any specific fruit species on the sixth day What we can know is that God gave the people He created, every herb that yields seed and tree whose fruit yields seed as food. Thus people became the lord of the creation and heir of God's work.
How do you interpret the many verses that say Israel was God's chosen people? I'm sure you know the story about Israelites fleeing Egypt and settling in Canaan. Maybe you'd at least agree that they were God's chosen people at one point? What date do you think that ended? When the events of Jeremiah 3:8 happened? What if the divorce reference wasn't intended to mean that Israelites are no longer God's people but another explanation?
Adam where does the Bible say that those in the modern day claiming to be Jews are indeed who they say they are?
Jesus in bible book Revelation 2:9 - I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
2nd witness of Jesus in Revelation 3:9 "Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee." Jews are going to worship at the feet of Christians.
Did you know the Lord DIVORCED ISRAEL?
Jeremiah 3:8 "And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also."
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
How can anyone tell me that those who have the wrath of God against them for rejecting the Son is the "chosen people"
King James Bible Jesus speaks to some of the Jews in John 10:23 - 29:And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch. Then came the JEWS (THE JEWS) round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.
Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.
"But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you."
But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
Looks to me that those who hear the voice of Jesus are true sheep or the chosen people.
Samaria was the capital of Northern Israel during the split of Judah and Israel after Solomon died. The Samaritan woman at the well was an Israelite also.
John Chapter 4
5 Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
6 Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with [his] journey, sat thus on the well: [and] it was about the sixth hour.
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? (the woman said Jacob [Israel] was her Father and Jesus never corrected her)
Art thou greater than OUR FATHER JACOB (who was Israel)
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
She was indeed an Israelite who was of divorced Israel
Jeremiah 3:8
"And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also."
God divorced Israel, not Judah.
Jeremiah 31:31
"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:"
Yes study prophecy - Exodus 19:5 - Now therefore, IF IF IF ye (Jews) will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
Jeremiah 11:10 - They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
Leviticus 18:5 - Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which IF IF IF a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD. Thing is the Jews did not keep the covenant and did you know God DIVORCED ISRAEL....
Hmmm. most do not know.

Question: Who does the Bible alone say KILLED JESUS
A: 1 Thessalonians 2:14 -15 ...even as they have of the Jews: Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, ....
Q: Is there another plan of salvation for unbelieving Jews?
A: Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Q: Did Jesus take the Kingdom of God from the Jews?
A: Matthew 21:43 - Therefore say I (Jesus speaking to the Jews) unto you,
The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.
Matthew 23:15 - Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees (ALL Pharisees are Jews) , hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Did not Jesus allow for divorce based upon "fornication" ( Matthew 5:32, 19:9). All those people that divorced based upon that reason are NOT committing adultery..according to the words of Jesus.
God is a divorcee ( Jeremiah 3:8).
God will re-marry Israel again ( Ezekiel 37:15-28).
Lev 26:15-21 God is speaking to His people, the history of the children of Israel full of this. 2 Chronicles 7:14 Jeremiah 3:22 Hosea 6:1,2
Christ brings this into the NT John 12:40 Acts 28:27
Ephesians 5:13, therefore, Ephesians 5:14
In Love & Truth
Isaiah 11:11-12 Ezekiel 37:21-25 Jeremiah 24:5-6 Ezekiel 34:11-12 Ezekiel 36:24-26 Hosea 3:4-5 Micah 4:6-7 Zechariah 13:8-9
Will Jesus the Messiah return and reign on the earth, with a rod of iron? Isaiah 2:1-4 Isaiah 11:1-4 Daniel 2:44 Daniel 7:14 Zechariah 14:1-4 Jeremiah 3:17 Revelation 2:26-27 Revelation 11:15 Revelation 12:5 Revelation 19:11-21.
Will there be a literal millennium during which Satan will not deceive the nations and Christ will reign on earth? Revelation 20:1-6 2 Timothy 2:11-12 Isaiah 2:2-4 Isaiah 11:5-16 Isaiah 65:19-25 Isaiah 51:4-5 Zechariah 14:16-21 Micah 4:1-4 Psalms 46:7-11 Matthew 19:28.
To me there are too many scriptures that are showing God has not replaced Israel with the Church. We see in Romans 11:24-27 a day when God will again turn to Israel, the day Jesus returns. Forgive me if some of the scriptures do not fit.
God bless,

Part 1
I do not mind one bit, I feel we are all here for each other. Revelation is to me hard, I feel some things have not been revealed and the events that were shown to John are not written in chronological order. Chapter 15 starts with a sign in heaven of the seven angels having the last plagues filled with the wrath of God.
My understanding is this is after the seven trumpets and with Matt. 24:31 1 Thess. 4:16 1 Cor.
Is this not during the Millenium reign as in Jeremiah 3:17 Zechariah 8:21-22 Isaiah 2:3-4 and more?

Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

If one truly repents, I believe ALL sins are forgiven, but I guess churches don't see it that way, they have their rules, can't change that. sry!
Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and turn ye again to Me, that your sins may be (blotted out), in order that ... times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;

Matthew 23,
Hopefully this is helpful.
God bless.

God Bless you.
We must all work out our path of salvation, Ezekiel 18:20 Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the LORD; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the LORD, and I will not keep anger for ever.

Thank you.
May it be the joyous journey for you!
Israel AND Judah both
Jeremiah 11:10 - They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.
Jeremiah 3:8 - And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of DIVORCE divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.
Jeremiah 5:11 - For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, saith the LORD.
Harsh words from Jesus
Did not Jesus allow for divorce based upon "fornication" ( Matthew 5:32, 19:9). All those people that divorced based upon that reason are NOT committing adultery..according to the words of Jesus.
God is a divorcee ( Jeremiah 3:8).
God will re-marry Israel again ( Ezekiel 37:15-28).
