Discuss Job 34

Yes the Light is indeed the Light of the knowledge of God in the face of Jesus Christ. And upon careful study of the scriptures the darkness was already there, thus it was created because as you pointed out in Isaiah 45:7. I have revelation that that darkness was the Old Lucifer who turned the light God gave to him into that darkness and God knew he would, for it is All according to his eternal purpose. The Light of the knowledge of God excelleth that darkness. Thus something happened between Genesis 1:1-2. For everything was overturned and made a wilderness at the fierce anger of the Lord. I think it's in Jeremiah 4:23- (Paraphrase) got I'm speaking the truth from the heart. " I beheld and lo the earth was void and empty and darkness and it was overthrow by the fierce anger of the Lord. And Isaiah 14 says Lucifer made the world as a wilderness. And he calls the darkness - NIGHT. So it was overthrown in the night by The lord.- Job 34:25. And paraphrasing Jesus Christ. He said are their not 12 hours in a day? And John 9:4 I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is DAY: THE NIGHT COMETH, WHEN NO MAN CAN WORK JOHN 9:5- while I Am in the world,I am the Light of the world. He will come as a thief in the night. I am persuaded I have the testimony of Jesus which is the Spirit of prophecy. Not that I am anything or anyone. But Jesus Christ And Him loving My poor and needy self. Thank you so much for blessing me with an opportunity to share the deep things of God's unsearchable word. God bless you

    Matt.4 "Recap"

Eye of faith is in lockstep with God because of the soul of man is his true and faithful witness, "For His eyes are on the ways of a man, and He sees his every step." Faith is one and it explains the heart as a spiritual space with which God is knowable. "He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works."(Ps.33:15; Job 34:21)

God is set in terms of light which explains this eye of faith in terms of the body. "The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light./ But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!"

Satan tempted Jesus because he did not understand the holiness of God and of faith which is one. Answering the tempter was to no avail. So he rebuked him,"Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."(4:10)

God sent forth his word which has been preparing the ground so holy men of old did not speak their own piece but what the Spirit set before their eye of faith, "Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow."(1 Pe.1:11) By the same token when Jesus called out his disciples straightaway laid aside what they were engaged in and followed him.

Dear Verleen, I wanted to get back to you concerning your first inquiry about the two places that God does not abide. Scripture says that God the Father resides in unapproachable light in heaven as I mentioned in my other post. Scripture also says that God's presence fills the universe, including earth. So, God fills all things with His Presence. Scripture also says that He abides in the believers by the Holy Spirit. Scripture also says that God, our Lord Jesus Christ now sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven but also resides in believers through the Holy Spirit, also. As Richard said, He even oversees hell, as His Presence is everywhere, hell not excluded.

But as to the only please that God does not abide is in unbelievers. He is still Presence in believers due to His omnipresence, but He does not abide in unbelievers as He does in believers.

I would like to list some Scriptures for you to look up on this. I will see how many I can get on this post.

Knowledge of Good and Evil (part 3)

What is good and evil? To get a definition we must first adhere to God's standards rather than our own; while acknowledging that His ways are higher than ours. For instance; we are not commanded to fight against the whole world of wicked man and the Antichrist and False Prophet and usher in God's Kingdom. There are some Dominionists who seem to go pretty far in that direction though; acting like Christ coming in vengeance ( Isaiah 63:3) is going to somehow be preceded by a red carpet welcoming mat of a world that is subjugated to Christianity. That isn't even what Post Mil reformers are saying! In any case a mass slaughter of most of the surviving earth at the end of the Tribulation isn't something that would be classified as good for anyone but the King of Kings. No doubt; of course Antichrist will beforehand attempt to justify his wars of conquest as a "man of peace" and when that is proven to be wrong; as the only one who can fight God who will be; to put it mildly called unjust.

To the world; Psalm 2 will seem like a way to "loosen their fetters" so to speak; this will seem like the ultimate revolutionary act to do for the world against those "aliens" attempting to invade the earth!

The other side of the coin; of course is the concept of what exactly "good" is. We know that God Himself can do no wrong; and is love itself ( Job 34:12; 1 John 4:8). We know that no one does good and all are estranged from the womb ( Romans 3:12; Psalms 14:3). Christ mentions this with those who are "evil" that give good gifts to their children. ( Luke 11:13). Therefore; the action may be the same among the regenerate and unsaved; but the motivations will be different; for instance pride of self or family; or an attempt to appease God and men through behaviors. This may be why the young man wasn't disputed when he said that he obeyed certain things since a youth. ( Matthew 19:20 and elsewhere). Hidden covetousness was thus exposed.

GOD IS LIFE and LIFE IS GOD

The BODY is only a vessel that holds THE LIFE OF GOD.

When the body DIES (the wages of sin is death: Romans 6:23) it returns to the dust from whence it came.

Ecclesiastes 3:20 ALL go unto one place; for all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Job 34:15 ALL FLESH shall perish together and man shall turn again into dust.

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit (LIFE) shall return unto God who gave it.

Ephesians 4:4 ONE SPIRIT .....one LIFE

1 Corinthians 15:38 For God giveth it (the new creation, YOU, Christ resurrected) a body as it hath pleased him, and to every SEED his (Christ's) own BODY.

    Ephesians 4:4 ONE BODY ....

HELL (Hades) is the grave, where men, the dust of the earth go.

The NEW MAN goes to the presence of God, the Father. as the BODY of Christ resurrected.

Ephesians 4:6 ONE GOD and FATHER OF ALL .......

Revelation 20:6 Blesses and HOLY is he (the new creation) who hath part in the FIRST RESURRECTION.

    Matthew 16:24 .....DENY YOURSELF ......

Colossians 1:27 .....this mystery ......CHRIST IN YOU ..... you the body (of Christ).

John 17:21 That they (new creation) may be ONE, as thou Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they (new creation) may be ONE IN US ....

Revelation 12:2 And SHE (the church, Christ's bride) being with child (the new man) cried, travailing in BIRTH, and pained to BE DELIVERED.

Whosoever BELIEVES SHALL (at the death of this body of flesh) BE SAVED ....... DELIVERED.

May God give us eyes to see and ears to hear.

    God BLESS.

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

    2 Corinthians 6:16

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people

    Psalms 43:4

Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise thee, O God my God.

    Psalms 56:4

In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

    Job 34:12

Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

Stay in the Kingdom of God:

    Romans 14:17

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

    1 Corinthians 4:20

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

Ray, man is a BODY made from dust.

God is LIFE, God is SPIRIT, therefore Spirit is life.

    Job 34:14 If he (SPIRIT) set his (Spirit's) heart upon man, if he (Spirit) gather unto himself his (God's) spirit and his (God's) breath;

Job 34:15 ALL FLESH shall perish together, and man shall turn again into dust.

    Acts 17:25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he GIVETH TO ALL life, and breath, and ALL THINGS;

Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations to dwell on the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation.

Ephesians 4:4 There is ONE BODY (the vessel that holds life) and one Spirit (the life in the vessel)....

Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father OF ALL, who is above ALL, and through ALL, and IN YOU ALL.

Hebrews 12:23 ... and to the spirits of just men MADE PERFECT,

Philippians 2:13 For it is GOD (LIFE, TRUTH) that worketh IN YOU both TO WILL and TO DO his good pleasure.

We are just the vessel that holds God (Life, Truth). Life and Truth cannot die, so when this body of flesh dies Christ gives us HIS BODY. We are joined in union with Christ.

    Brother Ronald.

    Part 2.

The key to understanding 2:4 is in the opening Hebrew phrase tldt ("This is the history of"), as it formulates the structure of the book of Genesis. A number of scholars recognize that here tldt serves as a heading that introduces a new section of the narrative. Interestingly, this is the only time the phrase tldt occurs without a personal name, the reason being that "Adam had no human predecessors. The tldt serves two main purposes in Genesis 2:4. First, it "links 2:4-25 with 1:1-2:3. The language of 2:4 looks back to the creation account, just as the tldt in Genesis 11:10 looks back to a line of Shem in Genesis 10:1 and 10:21-31. Second, "its main purpose is to shift attention to the creation of man and his placement in the garden. The setting of Genesis 2 is the garden in Eden, in which the LORD God places the man he creates ( Genesis 2:8, 15). Because there was no man to work the ground ( Genesis 2:5), this is the reason that the LORD God forms "the man" (hdm) from the dust of the "ground" (dm). The description of the creation of the first man is given in Genesis 2:7:

then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

Like a craftsman who shapes his material, the LORD God "formed. (yar) the man from the "dust" (pr) of the ground. The word "dust" is not a metaphor. It can only mean literal dust in the context of Genesis 2-3 because it is to dust that Adam will return due to his disobedience ( Genesis 3:19; cf. Job 34:14-15). After the formation of man from the dust of the ground, he is given human life when the LORD God breathes into him the breath of life.

Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

    Matthew 26:53

Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

    Psalms 91:11

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

    Job 34:16

If now thou hast understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

Acts 27:23 - For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve, Psalms 91:1-16 - He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Read More...)

    2 Kings 6:17

And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

    Mishael=they were angels.

If you need assistance, healing or protection; pray directly to God, in Jesus name, and ask God for angelic help through the trial. We cannot order the angels ourselves, nor can we worship them ever.

*they hearken to the spoken word of God; they enjoy praise and worship music and singing to the Lord.

If your home is dark with spiritual warfare? this is how to shine in the light of Gods love.

Has anyone else had experience with the ministry of angels in the believers life?

I had one save my life actually more than once.

    Praise God!

Just to correct a little to this post. Jesus Christ was not just flesh and God's Spirit. We (humans) are three part beings consisting of a body, soul, and spirit. Christ also has a soul. Which is "who" He is. God is life and His breath is our spirit, Job 34:14-15, and how we can have relation to God. Being able to receive His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ, or the Spirit of God to indwell with our spirit after giving our lives to the Lord.

You are not the only one to not believe in the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost being ONE. Even though it is in Scripture. If that is your view.

So what about the soul of Jesus Christ and "who" He was/is? He spake what the Father wanted Him to speak though he is not the Father but the Son.

How can anyone say that God, our Father, did not have His Son with Him for any amount of time before Christ was born here of flesh? Is not anything possible with God?

Do you know of Philippians 2:6? Stating Christ was "in the form of God" and "thought it not robbery to be equal with God".

To Glory in the Son is to Glorify the Father.

I know there are different views to this and I don't think anyone here is going to change anyone else's mind. This is not a new topic.

Please don't take my post as harsh. Let us all stay focused on the Word of God and doing the Will of our Father. Which is to follow the way of Christ.

    God Bless.

Good day my brothers Earl and Spencer,

As I would like to put my perception on "Heaven". I myself believe Heaven to be an actual place. Not just in us as stated in Luke 17:21. As we are the tabernacles of God where He dwells when we receive His Holy Spirit. Even as God is life and in everything weather Blessed to receive the Spirit of Christ or not. Job 34:14-15.

The Holy Bible is a spiritual book though many, many, things are literal not just spiritual. God's wisdom is so divine that almost anything may be taken in both ways. For maybe a reason God knows why.

Some things to consider I find fascinating. How both Enoch and Elijah were literally taken up by God in there human bodies and never saw a physical death. Genesis 5:24, 2 Kings 2:11-12. I believe Elisha literally saw a chariot of fire. In the book of Enoch there are amazing things we truly cannot comprehend.

14:8 A vision thus appeared to me.

14:9 Behold, in that vision clouds and a mist invited me; agitated stars and flashes of lightning impelled and pressed me forwards, while winds in the vision assisted my flight, accelerating my progress.

14:10 They elevated me aloft to Heaven. I proceeded, until I arrived at a wall built with stones of crystal. A vibrating flame surrounded it, which began to strike me with terror.

Paul stating about a friend with a vision in 2 Corinthians 12:2-4. That he could not fully explain.

Also that Jesus Christ in His glorified body( Luke 24:39) was able to appear and disappear. Also He was taken up into the clouds Acts 1:9-11.

Fully understanding Heaven we are not to able. It is so beyond us it could be anything as nothing is impossible with God.

I could go on and on about this but would be a very long conversation. Maybe just adding some people with NDE's having out of body experiences, in the spirit, able to testify of things going on when they were dead. Seeing their own bodies of flesh before them. Being taken up to be in the presence of the Lord.

    Glorious

Thank you for your reply earl. I like that about us being the precious stones. One thing is the Psalms verse you quoted about the one pearl. Seems to be a little typo as Psalms 23 only goes up to verse 6. I'm interested in the verse you have for that.

As we are the tabernacle of God where He dwells. Revelation 21:3. If I may ask one question. In Revelation 21:7-8. How God speaks of two "groups" of people. They that overcometh which are His. Then basically the wicked who have their part in the lake of fire. How do you perceive this?

As you stated Revelation not being "literal" (which shall disappear or pass away). I understand as those things being in the Spirit world and not of this physical world which is all vanity. The breadth of God. Job 34:14-15.

    God Bless.

    Hello Esther,

I looked into this a little for you. As I know it comes up in that some people don't believe you should cremate a dead body. As it seems some have stated it may keep that person from "being resurrected" in the end.

So one verse came up where a body was burned before burial. 1 Samuel 31:11-13.

As there is no direct Scripture against cremation. The people of Israel would normally buried their dead. As today the cost to bury a dead body is very high. Cremation is the most cost effective way to dispose of someones remains in my knowledge.

In my knowledge it really doesn't matter what is done to the body after death. We are all dust and, our bodies, return to dust after our death. Job 34:14-15. As the saying "ashes to ashes, dust to dust". If any think it has anything to do that whoever was cremated won't be resurrected. I'd say "what about people who died in a fire, eaten by a shark, or mutilated in a terrible car accident, or something?" Hopefully they wouldn't think that has anything to do with God being able to resurrect them on the last day. As God can do anything.

I hope my view helps you. If anyone else has any other view feel free to post.

    God Bless.

I very much enjoyed reading your reply and I agree with most of what you stated. One thing you stated is very special to me. Shown to me very early, by our Father, in my journey with the Lord.

To try and not make this too long. About ( 1 Corinthians 15 24-28. Stating how the last enemy to be destroyed is death, this being the end. The end of just my life or all physical life? I cannot see how God is not all in all now. How He is the source of all life. The Creator of all. Knowing everything about everything, knowing the end before the beginning, and always being in control in Heaven and earth. Like you stated it is His Will that shall be done not ours. Job 34:14-15. Death being a part of this physical life when our spirit shall return to God. Ecclesiastes 12:7. All we see is vanity but what is not seen is eternal as ( 2 Corinthians 4:18.

How do you perceive when Jesus states of the sin that shall not be forgiven in Matthew 12:32 "neither in this world, neither in the world to come"? Do you perceive this as another physical earth or world after us? Or as like unto the angels who sinned and were cast down(from Heaven) to Tartarus ( 2 Peter 2:4? Meaning neither in earth or in Heaven.

I thank you very much for your reply and cherish very much someone to converse about spiritual things like this.

I still do not understand what you mean about the Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost to be different. Can you please give a reply about how in the Textus Receptus, the Greek texts, which our Holy Bible(NT) is translated from. "Ghost" and "spirit" is the same Greek word "pneuma". Strongs number G4151. Translated over 250 times as "spirit" and over 90 times "ghost" in English. There is no difference in Holy Spirit or Holy Ghost. That I can see anyway.

Thank you again for your time sir. God Bless you.

I will actually respond further Jay, as I wasn't referring to your Eccl 12:7 reference. I was referring to: "Comparably, the life-force returns to where it came from-God. ( Job 34:14, 15; Psalms 36:9). This does not mean that the life-force actually travels to heaven. Rather, it means that for someone who dies, the time of future life rests with God."

So what are you referring to when you write: "the life-force (man's spirit, which you explained earlier), doesn't travel to heaven - it means the time of future life rests with God"? I'm confused as to what you are trying to say here. Where does man's spirit go upon his death, if at all? I can't see any misrepresentation of your comments on my part - just reading as given & requiring further clarification, if you so desire. Thank you.

When writing about the soul, the Bible writers used the Hebrew word nephesh or the Greek word psykhe. These two words occur well over 800 times in the Scriptures, and the New World Translation renders them "soul," either in the main text or in footnotes. When you examine the way "soul" or "souls" is used in the Bible, it becomes evident that this word basically refers to people and the life that a person has.

"In Noah's day . . . a few people, that is, eight souls, were carried safely through the water." ( 1 Peter 3:20) Here the word "souls" clearly stands for people-Noah, his wife, his three sons, and their wives.

You will find another examples of this sense of "soul" in the text found at Matthew 10:39'

Some people think that "spirit" is just another word for "soul." However, that is not the case. The Bible makes clear that "spirit" and "soul" refer to two different things.

Bible writers used the Hebrew word ruach or the Greek word pneuma when writing about the "spirit." The Scriptures themselves indicate the meaning of those words.

For instance, Psalm 104:29 states: "If you [God] take away their spirit [ruach], they die and return to the dust."

Speaking about man's death, Ecclesiastes 12:7 states: "The dust [of his body] returns to the earth, just as it was, and the spirit returns to the true God who gave it." When the spirit, or life-force, leaves the body, the body dies and returns to where it came from-the earth. Comparably, the life-force returns to where it came from-God. ( Job 34:14, 15; Psalm 36:9)

This does not mean that the life-force actually travels to heaven. Rather, it means that for someone who dies, the time of future life rests with God. The time frame is in God's hands, so to speak. Only by God's power can the spirit, or life-force, be given back so that a person may live again.

    Praise God. Thank You Jesus.

My Heart has heard you say, "Come and talk wirh me." And my Heart responds, Lord, l am coming."

    Psalm 27:8

How many times have you found a quiet place when you felt the Lord wanted you near?

He will bring you Love from above when you are Lonely- scared- hurting inside for someone that is near you, dying.

The Lord wants you to know He is the closest to you when you need help. He is a family you don't have- If you are alone. He is a Strength when you are weak. His creations grow In front of you. The warming of the sun lights up your whole body as He is close to you. The calmness you feel cannot be put in words. He Loves each one with a warmth that leaves you so calm that you feel like you will melt. He will hold you as you talk to Him. You will feel his Love running through you. I have been through this many years with Him. I know if you let yourself become one with Him- there will be nothing you can't ask of Him. And in His time will bring unto you. Thank you Lord-- l Praise your Holy Name. Thank you for Helping me today. I needed you- and you showed up: l can now walk with your Love to Strengthen me. Amen...

I am no Prophet;but I do Believe there is a message in what we are going through the whole world right now.And I hope and pray that we don,t miss the message,as individuals,as a nation, and all over the globe; And especially the CHURCH.Is this a plague?I don,t know.I do know that GOD warned and punished through plagues(if don,t let my people go;speaking to pharaoh).I believe in my heart GOD is saying ,turn to me you unsaved, and to you the saved but back slidden, turn back to me. 2chronicles 7:14;if my people who are called by name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from there wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.( Jeremiah 25:5 says Turn now everyone of you, from his evil ways, and evil deeds, and dwell upon the land that the LORD has given to you and to your fathers from of old and forever). Jeremiah 26:3 says;it may be they will listen, and every one turn from his evil way, that I may relent of the disaster that I intend to do to them because of their evil deeds.so I say let,s take down the things in our lives that we give a higher priority than we give GOD.Let,s LOVE(I capitalize LOVE because GOD is LOVE)with all our Hearts, with all our minds, bodies, and souls.Look at ourselves ; Do we love HIM?or is it all lip service?Do we put our money, our pleasures, our luxury homes and cars jewelry, and yes the economy;all of that on the throne of our hearts where GOD should be.Give GOD HIS rightful place in your life.In our in our minds, in our

hearts,in our bodies, and souls.HIGH AND LIFTED UP IS OUR GOD.LET us pray without ceasing.

I've been praying and studying about JOB, because we have something in common. I think I know why Job lost everything and everyone he loved. The answer may come from a dark place called, "why did this happen to me? The faithful believer?

People have made lots of money writing those, 'WHY do bad things happen to good people, who do good things, books.'

How very deeply we bury things we don't want to see.

If we would search hard enough and submit to be searched by the Holy Spirit, he will reveal a gem.

Greetings Kevin Mack I discovered this mess in the late 1980's when I saw Colonel Oliver North on C Span, in a room full of reporters, admit to congress they traded g uns to the Con tra's for coke with the Iran scandal. North admitted they sold the coke to turn it into cash. Wow they were drug dealers.

I waited for 2 weeks for this news to hit the papers and TV. Nothing happened. It was then I understood that the media was totally controlled. Oh and rep Prez Reagan was in charge then. Funny how the Dems said nothing about this scandal of drugs. They are all in this together with Satan himself in charge.

I was blessed with a Bible believer show me from the scriptures of the last antichrist beast system which would rule the world in the end times. Before I repented and came to Christ, I attended business college, and one thing I learned was how to do research, this before the internet was what it is today.

I was told that Zondervan, the largest printer of Bibles in the English speaking world, is owned by Harper Collins which prints sodomite books and the satan ic bible of the church of say tan. Yes the church of say tan exists. Think about that when you read Veggie tales bible stories to your children. They in turn are owned by the News Corporation which is known as FOX TV. I checked and this is true.

So why is not common knowledge in churches? I am not the only one who knows this? I have been told to leave churches over speaking out about this. Are they in on this? false doctrines? How deep does the rabbit hole go?

check your pastors for everything they say, sheep have no need for hirelings.

Modern Bibles are poison spiritually and the above is the reason.

Elizabeth, I'm sure you're have read through this book carefully, so I won't give references, but only my opinion.

God was apparently satisfied with Job's conduct of his life & bringing up his family. So Satan comes to God after roaming the Earth (presumably to try to find someone to 'trip up' into sin). He probably found none, as all were involved in something sinful. This must have come up in Satan's conversation with God, which prompted God to say that His servant Job was unlike any other: an upright man who fears Me & hates evil. And so the account goes on to reveal God allowing Satan to have his way with Job, except to take his life (Satan must have received special licence to take life for this testing, that which is reserved for God only). And we know how, through much physical & mental difficulty, Job came through the temptations to still worship & honour God.

So, I see this account, though factual, as one that speaks to me of why sufferings may come to all of us. Why does God permit it? And does God have a purpose in it? The answers to these questions can only be found in the Bible, as any human opinion will invariably be wrong. All pain & suffering comes to us because we are sinners & live in a World affected by the fall of man ( Rom 3:23, 8:18). God permits it to the point of His set limitation ( 1 Cor 10:13), because suffering is a natural part of a fallen existence. If we didn't have pain, hardship & suffering, then we would be a perfect people living in a perfect World. Our sufferings prove to us the condition of our soul. Does God have a purpose in it? Of course to show us our fallen state, but also to alert us to the Way that is open for us to be forgiven for our sins ( Jn 3:16, 14:6), that brings on suffering. Do Christians not suffer then? We do suffer, but we now have the Lord Who keeps us & helps us through our trials ( Psalm 46 is precious), giving us an eternal hope that keeps our spirits strong, when the physical frame deteriorates.
